(A/N I know it took me a while to finally post again but I've finally finished chapter 34! Honestly it feels short to me and if it is I will go back and add more but with how busy I've been I wanted to finish and get something out for you all! I'm also aware that there are mistakes in this chapter)
P.S To the person that commented about how the hammer would break a Katana, I'm fully aware of that but since I never went into full detail to how Draco's sword was crafted I'll just say think of it like a Daedric weapon)
(Chapter Thirty-Four) (Hot Spings)
(Sundas 25th)(At the Cove)
Before the sun even rose over the horizen Draco was already up getting ready for the day while the others were still asleep in their beds. After getting dress he headed on out into the main room of the house and called out to everyone.
"TIME TO WAKE UP!" his voice echoing throughout the house.
Groans can be heard through the house as the others slowly woke up. Draco stood near the dinning table for a few minutes until he saw the door to Ravens room open, revealing a very tired and annoyed Raven.
"I knew you said we were going to have an early start but isn't this too early" she groans rubbing her eye.
"No, besides the more we get done the less we have to work afterwards" Draco says crossing his arms.
"Fine" she groans as she heads back into her room to get a change of clothes.
A few minutes pass until everyone came out of their rooms dressed, awake, and ready to get to work though Raven still looks a bit annoyed "What do you want us to get working on first?" Sal asks as he comes down the steps.
Draco looked at Sal "I want you to start working on some of the laying out the foundation for the last part of the house in the back (turns to Mikazuki) I want you to start working on the forge while we have the materials (turns to Raven) I want you to work on carving out some legs for some tables and chairs (turns to Hana) I would like you to work with Raven" I laid out the jobs.
Since no one had anything to say Draco took it that everyone understands their job. I took the lead and left the house while everyone else split up to go do their job, Draco on the other hand went out to go start getting some more logs for when Sal finishes the foundation of the last part of the house.
(With Stoic and Gobber) (Great Hall)
At the Great Hall Gobber and Stoic were sitting at one of the many tables eating some breakfast while talking to one another about some stuff that they did this morning but then Gobber changed the conversation.
"'ave you seen Draco around recently?" he asks.
"No, 'e was gone all day yesterday, does 'e need to be at the forge?" Stoic ask with a raised brow.
"No, 'e was suppose to tell more stories from 'is adventures"
"'is adventures are interestin' but some do seem to be a bit" Stoic pauses trying to think of the right words.
"Strange?" Gobber raises a brow.
"Yea, strange, I understand that it's outside, beyond the fog but it seems a bit... much"
"I know what ya mean, but with 'is skills I can't 'elp but believe them"
"'is skills with that sword are nothin' like I've seen before, I wonder 'ow 'e is with 'e's actual sword, the one that 'angs from 'es side" Stoic wonders.
"I do to but 'e seems to be very secretive with it"
Silence fell between the two, only the sounds of the people entering and talking around them were heard. They continued to stay like this for a couple of minutes until they heard Snotlout, Dogsbreath and Tuffnut talking as they enter the hall.
Not wanting to listen to their rambling about stupid stuff right now, Stoic quickly stood up followed by saying "I'll see ya around my friend" then walks away leaving the hall.
Gobber sat there for a bit longer until he finishes his mead, once finished he slowly stands up then hobbles away exiting the hall but as he was exiting the hall he heard something from the trio.
(With Snotlout, Dogsbreath, and Tuffnut)
The trio made their way towards their normal table talking about how weird it has gotten since Draco, Hana, Mikazuki, Sal, and Raven been here. Snotlout seems to be the only one besides his day that isn't happy about having them around.
"Did you also hear how the other girls that hang with your sister talks about them, it's like they're going to take all of the women around here away, probably except for the old hags" Dogsbreath complains as he lets out an annoyed groan.
"Why would you want one of those girls?" Tuffnut asks with a disgusted expression.
"Well, let's see, they're the only girls around here our age, we haven't seen any other ones from outside of Berk besides the two that are with Draco and they aren't that bad looking, especially Astrid but it seems like Draco has beaten us to her"
Snotlout slams his fist down onto the table "No way will I let that happen, I will be marrying Astrid one way or another my dad is already coming up with a plan to make that happen though I don't know the specifics"
"Though she has already you time to time again that she won't marry you no matter what" Dogsbreath comments.
"It's not up to her, I only have to win over her parents" Snotlout replies with a sinister smile.
"Haven't they also been turning you down as well?" Tuffnut questions.
"It's going to be an offer that they can't refuse"
Dogsbreath and Tuffnut glance at another as they were both getting a bit worried about their friends obsesion over Astrid but neither of them will say anything about it since they know what will happen if they do.
"So, how has the pranking of Draco and his friends been going?" Dogsbreath asks Tuffnut trying to change the subject a little.
"Not good, my sister has stopped wanting to be part of any of them and I have no idea why but she doesn't stop talking about them now" Tuffnut groans.
"That must be annoying"
"It is, hearing about how cool they are or how badass he was blah, blah, blah"
"That is annoying, I'm glad I'm a single child"
"At least your dad isn't angry about you loosing" Snotlout adds through gritted teeth.
The table falls into an awkward silence for a couple of minutes until Tuffnut spoke up "I guess we should go grab some food" He says quickly getting up from his seat. Dogsbreath quickly followed then lastly Snotlout.
After grabbing their food they returned to the table they were originally sitting at. Back at the table they sat their in silence for a bit which was causing Tuffnut and Dogsbreath to feel a little uneasy.
"So, um, what should we do after this?" Dogsbreath wondered.
"I was thinking we could go and mess with that cranky old guy, forgot his name" Tuffnut tried to think of the old guys name.
"You mean Mildew? That could be fun" Dogsbreath thought it over.
"Remember what Stoic said last time we messed with him, we'll be working his fields for a week and I don't want to have to be around old man for that long" Snotlout groaned.
"Oh yea, I forgot" Tuffnut groaned.
"Then how about we go mess with useless?" Dogsbreath suggested.
"I'm not in the mood" Snotlout denies the idea.
"Then how about-"
"Whatever you come up with is going to be boring" Snotlout cuts off Tuffnut really not wanting to hear any of his stupid ideas.
"Fine, then you think of something to do" Tuffnut huffs.
"How about we go look for where Draco and them are living?"
Snotlout thought about it for a bit thinking that it would be a good idea and maybe he can do something about them if he does find their camp but then a thought of maybe his plans to get Astrid would probably backfire. He let out a groan.
"I would like to do that but it might interfere with my dads plans to help me get Astrid"
"How would that interfere?" Dogsbreath wondered.
"Think about it, if we did find their camp and messed with them a bit they might say something to Stoic or Astrid which would make it hard for me to get he hand" Snotlout explains.
"Do you really think they would say something to them?"
"Not the guys but the two girls would, maybe but I don't want to take that risk"
"If not that how about we just train, we might as well keep up with our skills even though we haven't had to fight lately" Dogsbreath suggested getting a bit tired of coming up with ideas of what to do.
"I guess that'll work for now, lets go" Snotlout orders as he gets up leaving the table. The other two quickly got up and followed him out of the hall.
(With Hiccup and Gobber) (At Forge)
At the forge Hiccup was working on some of the weapon orders that Gobber has left for him to do as soon as he got there, so far his only gotten three out of twelve completed and was just now getting to the fourth one.
As he was putting the heated blade in the water Gobber wobbles in "'ello lad, I see you're 'ere early"
"Yea, I thought if I got here early I could finish early" Hiccups shrugs his shoulders.
"'ow's the trainin' comin' along?" Gobber asks as he grabs one of his many hands replacing the one he's using to a hammer.
"It's coming along alright, tough though"
"Of course trainin' is tough, that's what will help build you up"
"I know and I remember you telling me something similar like that in the past before, but this time I've learned a few things about myself while training with Draco"
"Oh? what did ya learn?" Gobber asks with a raised brow.
He was quiet for a bit but then took a deep breath then spoke "I've learned that I may not be up to being a viking but something else" he answers quickly.
Gobber was shocked a bit "What do ya mean not up to be a vikin'?" he asks.
"I mean that I'm just not cut out to be a viking, this big strong viking, instead I feel more like I'm better at being something like Draco, maybe not just like him but strong in my own way" he explains as he pulls out the now cooled blade.
Gobber thought about his words for a bit then smiled happy to see that his apprentice has finally found his place "I'm 'appy that lad took ya in" was all he said before getting to work on hammering.
Hiccup was a bit nervous for saying that outloud but now he feels a bit better and couldn't help but smile. Nothing was said between the two and only the sounds of hammers and metal clashing can be heard throughout the forge.
(5 Hours later)
Time flew by for the duo, not even realizing that five hours have passed since they've been working but they were able to finish the majority of the work only having one sword left to work on. Hiccup was the one working on said sword.
"Once you're finished up with that sword go on ahead and head to the hall to get ya something to eat" Gobber says as he wobbles out of the forge.
"I will" was all Hiccup said as he takes the cooled blade over to table to get it prepared to put the handle on.
After Gobber left the forge Hiccup took a quick glance back to see if he's completely gone and when he couldn't see Gobber anymore he sped up the process putting on the handle. Once he completed with adding the handle and fitting it to where the blade wouldn't come off he placed the finished sword with the others then went into his backroom.
In his back room he quickly sat down in his chair, pulled his journal out from under his tunic placing it down on the desk. Opening the journal he flips through the pages until he comes up to a page that had a drawing of Toothless and Galaxy on it.
He looked at the work he has done for a few seconds before grabbing a charcoal pencil then began to write in it adding more details of the dragons and what he has learned about them so far. He wrote down some notes next to them.
After adding some notes and details he closes the journal, puts it back under his tunic for safe keeping, gets up from his chair then leaves the backroom exiting the forge. While exiting the forge he takes a look around keeping an eye for Snotlout and the others but when he didn't see them he takes off towards the hall.
(With Astrid) (The village)
Ever since Astrid talked to Raven yesterday she's been a bit of a better mood, even the people around her. As she walks through the village, making her way to the arena, people noticed that she was in a better mood lately and smiling.
Some people brought it up to her but the only thing they got from her was a "I'm just in a good mood" then she walks off. Even her parents got the same answer though her mom has an idea why she's in a good mood.
On her way to the arena, off in the distance on the other side of the bridge she could see the children that she trains are looking down into the arena from the stone bleachers. She raises a brow wondering what was going on.
Making her way over the bridge she was now starting to hear the sounds of hammers and talking from within the arena, the kids were watching the workers repair the arena. It makes sense now.
As she gets close to the arena one of the kids turned around noticing her "Astrid!" the student exclaims causing the other students to turn around.
The students come running down from the stone bleachers running up to here with smiles on their faces "What were you guys looking at up there?" Astrid asks.
"We were watching them repair the arena, they look almost done with it!" one of the kids replied.
"Oh? that's good to hear, that means we can eventually continue training in there soon" she says with a smile.
"Are we going to train some today?"
She thought about it for a second then she answered "I guess we can do a little training today, first we're going to do something a bit differently" the kids looked a bit confused but then she continues.
"You'll be running around the village until I say stop, this will train your stamina" she finishes. The kids let out a groan but since the arena still isn't finished they knew there was only so much she can train them.
"How long will you make us run?"
"Until I tell you to stop now get ready, you'll start from here then just continue going around the village until I say stop, I'll be in the middle of the plaza so we'll meet up there, ready, set, GO!" she exclaims suddenly and the kids scrambled around then took off.
After the kids took off running over the bridge towards the village Astrid followed making her way back over the bridge. While she was making her way over the bridge a thought came to mind about asking Draco for some training idea. Just thinking about him made her smile.
(4 Hours Later) (In the Plaza)
After four hours of running Astrid finally made the kids stop. They were out of breath and tired from all of the running that two of the fell to the ground laying on their backs taking deep breaths.
Astrid clapped her hands "You guys did great, you can rest now, that's it for class today" though the kids were still resting Astrid left them to rest as she went off towards the Great Hall but then she realized something.
"I haven't seen Ruffnut or the others any today, where could they be" she whispers to herself as she stops and looks around the village.
Not seeing the others anywhere she only could thing up two places, the watchtower or the Great Hall which she was already heading to and already standing at the steps, since she was already heading to the Great Hall she'll go there first.
Heading up the stairs of the Great Hall her mind wondered a bit but nothing major came to mind. Reaching the doors to the hall she pushes them open to see a few people were inside but none of her friends, besides Fishlegs.
Fishlegs seems to be reading the book of dragons along with a notebook on the table open, probably taking notes. Seeing as the others are not here she decided that since she was already here she might as well eat.
Entering the hall she makes her way over to where they grab the food. Picking up one of the many plates and mug of mead she then makes her way over to the table where Fishlegs was sitting.
Reaching the table Fishlegs quickly notices Astrid as she sits in front of him "Hey Astrid, getting something to eat?" he asks returning his focus to his work.
"Yea, I was looking for Ruffnut and the others but didn't see them, have you seen them?" she asks.
"Not recently, oh, have you seen Draco anywhere?" he asks as he writes down something in his notebook.
She shakes her head "No but I assume that since he's not in the village he's at his camp" she replies.
"I was hoping to get some more info on the dragons that he's seen but I guess I'll have to wait until he visits the village"
"Haven't you thought about going to the campsite?" she wonders.
"I have but I feel that I would be getting in their way so I'll wait, it's fine" he answers.
It fell silent between the two, only the sounds of the voices from the others in the hall and the sounds of tankards hitting the wooden tables can be heard. She glanced down at the work he was doing and saw a picture of a dragon that looks like the one that attacked Berk that one time.
"Is that the dragon you were going to ask Draco about?" she asks.
"Yea, there's some details I'm missing from this" he explains.
She scans over the art and info for a bit then turns her attention back to her food in front of her. It fell silent again between the two and stayed like that for the remainder of the time she was there.
After a ten minutes passed she got up leaving her plate and tankard there and without a word she left Fishlegs to continue his work in peace while she left to go look for Ruffnut and the others, if she can find them at all.
(With Hiccup and Gobber) (At the Forge)
The two were working on some new orders that was given to Gobber while he was at the hall earlier, this time the order was pretty large. The order contained of nails, hinges, chains, traps and weapons, this order is going to take them awhile.
"Lad, can ya do the hinges next?" Gobber wonders as he places down one of the traps.
"Sure Gobber" Hiccup replies as he switches from working on a chain to working on the hinges.
While Hiccup was working on the hinges he notices someone walking up to the forge. He looks up to see who it is, it was Astrid. His heart skips a beat and ach at the same time as he reminds himself who she's with.
"Hey Gobber!" she calls out.
Gobber stops hammering then turns around facing Astrid "'ey lass! what are ya doin' 'ere?" he asks wobbling over to the window.
"I'm here to ask if you've seen Ruffnut or any of the others?"
"I saw them in the Great 'all early but I 'aven't seen them since, 'ave ya checked the watchtower?"
"Not yet, I was going to go there now but wanted to stop by just in case you've seen them before going" she replies.
"That's the only place that comes to mind lass, sorry I couldn't be of anymore 'elp" he apologizes.
"It's alright Gobber I'll head on over there now, thank you Gobber!" she exclaims before taking off.
Hiccup couldn't help but watch as she runs off with a slight smile and blush plastered on his face though his heart still achs "'ey lad! I wouldn't think about it lad, unless you're good enough to go against him" Gobber exclaims as he hobbles back towards thhe table he was at.
Hiccup felt embaressed, shaking his head he returns to his work. While he was working he couldn't help but have that image of her backside on his mind which was causing him to blush a little, luckily it was hot inside the forge.
(5 Hours Later)
After five hours of non-stop working Hiccup and Gobber was able to accomplish a majority of the order only having a few things left but the sun was already setting which told the two that it was time to close it for now.
"Alright lad, it's time to stop 'ere and close up shop, make sure to clean up everythin' and go get somethin' to eat" Gobber says as he removes his hammer hand with a different one putting the hammer one on a table where he has his other ones.
"Will do Gobber" Hiccup says a bit quietly as he begins to put away the nails, hinges, and the weapons he has worked on putting them where the other ones were.
Cleaning the forge took him ten minutes once he was finished he headed into the backroom and sat down at the desk with a thud. He leaned back into his chair resting up his tired body while also thinking of Astrid again.
With the image of her in his head he quickly took out his journal from within his tunic, dropped it on the table then grabbed a charcol pencil before opening the journal then flipped through the pages landing on an empty one.
Though he already has a few drawings of her in the journal and some on the wall in front of him he couldn't help but want to draw her again. He quickly started to scetch out the image that he had in his head the whole time into the journal starting out with her form.
(With Ruffnut, Philia, Ally, Maria, and Rivia) (The Great Hall)
The group of girls, excluding Astrid, entered the Great Hall to grab some dinner before night falls. They make their way over to where they can grab some food grabbing a plate with boar meat, bread, and a cup of mead then took it to their table.
As they sat down Ruffnut spoke "It sucks Astrid had to go home to do some chores before coming here"
"It does but we know how her parents are so it couldn't be avoided" Maria added.
"At least she was able to hangout with us for a bit earlier" Ally adds.
"Well if we actually looked for her earlier then maybe we could've hung out more" Rivia argues.
"You know how she is, she would've probably been busy earlier and asking her if she wanted to hangout would have been a waste of time" Ruffnut retorts.
"We weren't really doing at all today so it wouldn't really have been that much of a waste of time"
"Philia's got a point, all we've done today is sit around and talked, why couldn't we have gone and checked out what Draco and his friends were doing like I suggested?" Ally asked.
"Like I said earlier, they could've seen us if we went during the day and that we would go see them tonight after eating"
"How would they see us? I thought the spot you found was pretty far"
"Let's just say I have a feeling that they would be able to see us" Ruffnut didn't know why she felt that but she did and she's going to listen to it.
"So when are we going to go?" Philia asks.
"After the sun sets, and since it's already setting we just need to wait a few more minutes so let's eat before we head out" Ruffnut answers with a smile.
"What do we expect to see there if it's dark?" Ally asked.
"Not sure but hopefully something juicy" Ruffnut replies licking her lips.
"If it's dark how will we see anything?" Maria asks.
Ruffnut has thought about that before and the only thing she recalls is that their house only has light but she has to have hope "Trust me, we'll see something" she really hopes they do.
"I don't know but if you really believe we will then we'll trust you"
"Oh, I just remembered something! Wasn't there a springs nearby? We found it once before so maybe they found it and use it from time to time" Ally exclaims.
"How did that springs even become a thing? we didn't have one on Berk before" Philia questions.
"How should I know and you might have a point, if we found it they might have too, so lets go there and see if they'll be there tonight first" Ruffnut honestly forgot about the springs.
Since it seems like no matter how many times they ask her she's not going to tell them how they'll be able to see though they do have some thoughts how that could be possible but not sure. They fell silent as they began to dig into their food.
They continued to eat until they finished leaving nothing on their plates and nothing in their tankard. Once done they sat there in silence which made them a bit uncomfortable, probably Ruffnut is thinking, so Ally decided to break the silence.
"So... we're done eating now, are we going to go?" Ally asks.
"Yea, I was just thinking" she replies standing up leaving the table. The other girls quickly got up to follow.
Outside of the hall they saw that night has fallen which was a good time to head on out into the woods but some of them have doubts that this is going to be worth it but didn't want to repeat what they said.
As they make their way down the steps of the hall they saw that everyone is already either closing up for the night or heading their way to the hall. Raching the bottom of the step they began to make their way towards the bridge but what they didn't know is that aspecific blonde noticed them walking in that direcition and decided to follow.

(In the forest)
The walk through the woods felt peaceful to the girls though a little bit creepy as well but mostly peaceful. They haven't talked much during the walk since they had to go quiet as soon as they started getting closer just in case any of Draco's friends were around.
"How much closer is the springs?" Philia whispers.
"Not much further" Ruffnut whispers back.
They continue walking for another few more minutes until they started to faintly hear voices in the distance. The girls stopped and crouched down for a second just in case if they were just walking around but while they waited for a minute or too the voices didn't seem to be getting any closer.
"Is that in the direction of the springs" Maria whispers.
"Yes, let's stay low and slow" Ruffnut whispers back.
They slowly began to move in the direction of the voices staying as low as they possibly can. A couples of minutes pass and they finally reached where the springs were suppose to be, they could seem a flicker of a torch beyond some bushes.
Creeping up to the bush they stopped just behind it then slowly rose up peeking over the bush to see that all of them were all enjoying the springs, though with the steam slightly covering them and them sitting down in the water they can barely see them.
"So is this what you meant by we'll be able to see them?" Philia whispers with a disappointed tone.
"Honestly, I didn't know they had torches here" Ruffnut whispers back.
"At least we can see at all" Ally didn't sound happy either but it'll have to do.
"What are we hoping to see here?" Maria asks.
"Well, since they're in the springs, maybe seeing what they're packing is probably the most common answer in this situation" Philia whispers slowly raising up a bit more.
Ruffnut noticed this and quickly grabbed her arm pulling her back down "Hey, don't do that, they'll spot us" she warns.
"How would they spot us if it's dark out?" Philia asks.
"We're not completely in the dark and they could possibly spot us so just stay low"
Philia lets out a groan but did as she was told "Fine, but how long do you think it'll be until something happens?" she asks.
"Don't know but until-"
"What are you guys doing?" Astrid whispers startling the other girls.
They quickly turned around to face her "Um... well, you see..." Philia tries explaining but couldn't make out the words.
Astrid notices the torch lights and moves closer to the bush but was quickly pulled down by Ruffnut "Ok, you caught us, we were spying on Draco and his friends" she quickly explains.
"What the hell, why would you do that?" Astrid whispers angrily.
"Astrid, there are barely any guys on this island-"
"That are at least attractive" Philia adds.
"Yes, what she said, so we just wanted to see what they were like and how they looked under all of that armor" Ruffnut explains.
"Your horny enough to spy on someone? I can't believe it" she groans pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Hey, I'm not the only one curious besides aren't you the slightest bit curious about what Draco looks like without any clothes and what he could be packing?" Ruffnut couldn't help but smirk.
"No, I'm not curious enough to-" Astrid stops mid sentence as the thought of what he might look like went across her mind then her mind began to imagine what he might look like causing her to blush a little.
"See, she's curious too" Ruffnut teases as she looks at the others.
"Come on Astrid, why not stay and look with us, if things start getting uncomfortable you can leave but we'll be staying" Ally suggests pulling her close to the bush placing her next to Ally.
(With Sal, Raven, Mikazuki, Hana, and Draco)
The others may not have noticed but the whole time they've been in the springs Draco has already noticed the sound of the five females not to far from them. Not wanting to let them know that he noticed them he just let out a sigh and ignored them.
"Is something wrong?" Raven asks as she stands up revealing everything to everyone.
"You know you have such a cute butt?" Hana teases placing a hand on Raven's butt gropping a feel.
"Hey?! That's not your's to touch" she laughs pulling away from Hana.
Hana raises a brow "Then who's is it to touch?" she asks with a smirk.
A blush forms on Ravens cheeks but luckily the steam is making it hard to notice "None of your busniess" she replies moving over towards the edge of the springs sitting on the edge.
Hana then stands up to move over next to Raven sitting next to her on the edge of the springs "Come on, is it someone here?" Hana asks with a large grin.
Draco did his best to ignore the two but he couldn't help but open one of his eyes to take a glance at the two beautiful women. Though he's seen Raven's body multiple times in the past and still see's it often he can't help but find her body just beautiful, even with the scars on her, which still haunts him.
Hana's body on the other hand was just beyond beautiful, her figure and smooth looking skin reminds him of his wife's figure though the thought of his wife causes his heart to ach again but then the thought of what Astrid might look like under her cloth feels takes that pain away.
He felt annoyed that the thought of another women that he seems to now be in some sort of relationship takes over his feelings for his wife as if something is pushing him to move on but he won't give up on Rias, not yet.
Though, he still couldn't help but imagine it along with checking Hana out. She is clearly Rias's sister, at least that what she says. He closes his eye again so he can try and clear his thoughts while on the other hand Mikazuki is doing his best to do the same but takes a few glances from time to time.
"You're stubborn you know that" Hana frowns then quickly replaces it with a smirk looking over to Draco.
"Anyways, you didn't answer my question" Raven changes the subject.
"Yea I'm fine just tired" he replies followed with a sigh.
"We have been busy today and we did finish up the rest of the house plus some of the interior items" Sal adds.
"Why don't you go home and rest if you're tired?" Raven suggests.
"I will in a bit" he replies.
Silence fell over the group and they just sat there enjoying the hot water and the silence with just the slight sounds of the forest. They relaxed like this for a few more minutes until Draco decided that it was time to get out of the springs.
Before standing up he focused his hearing to see if he could hear if the girls were still hiding behind the bushes and heard some faint whispers telling him that they're still there. Letting out a long breath he stood up out of the water and climbed over the edge onto the wooden platform they made.
