Chapter 1: New abilities
In the underworld ruled by a race of known as Neyaphem, one in particular stands above them all. A red skin mutant who goes by the name of Azazel. He was sitting in his throne room hatching a plan to destroy humankind. With his army, armed and dangerous was awaiting his orders, he gathers his two skilled lieutenants, Lucille and Nino. Both were winged Neyaphem each armed with two daggers, he has a small meeting with them.
"Yes yes yes after 16 years, I have finally rebuild my demonic empire, and even collected 6 out of 7 power orbs to open the one and only Hell's Gate at last, LUCILLE, NINO APPEAR!" Azazel calls for his lieutenants.
"Yes my lord." Lucille appears.
"We're here to serve you Oh Mighty Great One." Nino appears.
"So what's the update of our preparations?" Azazel sits on his throne sipping on a glass of wine.
"It is almost complete, but we still need one more orb to open the gate." Lucille informs her master.
"Unfortunately we been having difficulties finding it." Nino informed her master.
"I already know the location of it, it's hidden somewhere in Bayville, that wrench Mystique stole from me a long time ago, after destroying my empire and hiding our child." Azazel broke his glass.
"You mean the X men known as Nightcrawler." Nino replied.
"Yes, which is why I called you in here, take these Image Inducers and head to Bayville, find the orb, if you encounter Mystique kill her and anyone that stands in your way, as for my son keep an eye on him for now." Azazel ordered his lieutenants.
Nino and Lucille activate their Image Inducer, both of them is looks like human females. Nino had brunette hair with a ponytail, slender body, wearing a blue pair of jeans and a yellow blouse. Lucille had blonde hair with two buns, slender body, wearing a short black skirt and red shirt. Azazel opens a portal to send them to earth.
Meanwhile in Bayville, two female was having a meeting, one was a blind women who can see the future, she went by Irene Adler also known as Destiny. The other was a blue skinned mutant with red hair, she was a shapeshifter who goes by Raven Darkholme also known as Mystique. Destiny has called Mystique to discuss a series of events that destroy humankind.
"I'm here Destiny what is it that is so important?" Mystique asked.
"Well it's about your son, soon he will gain new abilities, his appearance will start to change, even worse his father is plotting something big, he has already sent two of his lieutenants as we speak." Destiny informed her.
"Azazel, he wants the orb to open Hell's gate to send his army here, I hid it years ago before Kurt was born, shit I forgot where I hid it, I must get to Kurt first." Mystique makes her leave.
"What is your plan Raven?" Destiny asked.
"I'm joining the X men for good." Mystique replied.
"Are you sure about that?" Destiny sounded surprised.
"I am, I been on a spiritual journey to atone for my actions in the past, recollect myself, plus this will be a great opportunity to connect with my kids." Mystique responded.
"Ok fine, but you must find the orb before he does." Destiny said as Mystique acknowledged her words.
Meanwhile at the Xavier Institute Kurt Wagner also known as Nightcrawler was nightmares for the past few days. He dreamed that he was in another dimension surrounded by fire, he hears constant evil laughter. Visions of a red demonic mutant that's out to get him, he tries to get away but with no luck. He instantly wakes realizing it was not real. He goes to the bathroom, and when he looks at the mirror he noticed that he has ten fingers and ten toes, and a set of wings on his back. A few of the X men rushes to Kurt, and noticed his new appearance.
"Woah Kurt is that you, you have a full set of fingers and toes." Scott noticed.
"Like since when you had wing?" Kitty examined his wings.
"Yes this quite odd, it seems you may experiencing some powers of some sort." Professor Xavier examines Kurt.
"Vhat is happening to me?" Kurt sounding a little terrified.
"What is going on here, woah Kurt, brother is that you?" Rogue was checking out her brother's new appearance.
"Yes Rogue it's me, with a brand a new terrifying new look." Kurt responded to his sister.
"Terrifying, those looks badass, I'm so jealous." Rogue and the others was intrigued with his new look.
"Vait, vhat, you're serious? Kurt was confused.
"Look Elf, I'm pretty sure anyone would love to have a set of wings like that." Wolverine had smirk on his face
Kurt's whole body started to surround itself with a black aura, his hands and eyes started to glow black as well. He accidentally blast a dark blast at the window, Hank immediately takes Kurt to examine him. Professor Xavier was correct, Kurt has gain new powers, it was unexpected. Everyone look surprised at what they just witnessed.
"Woah, vait was zhat?" Kurt was surprised by his new powers.
"That was so cool." Kitty was ecstatic about his new attack.
"Ok everyone I think we had enough excitement for the night, we'll discuss this in the morning.
Everyone goes to bed as the Professor commanded. The next morning, Logan fixes the window Kurt wrecked last night. Ororo and Jean had finished making breakfast. All the students head downstairs for breakfast. When everyone was having breakfast, Kurt comes down without his Image Inducer and surprising the new recruits. Everyone admiring his new appearance, for some reason it made him a lot cooler.
"Woah Fuzzy boy digging the new look especially the wings." Tabitha was admiring his wings.
"Dude super cool, I wish I had wings." Bobby continued to eat his breakfast.
"Vhat really?" Kurt makes his breakfast.
"Of course, super cool." Rahne Sinclair finishes her breakfast.
As everyone was finishing their breakfast, a crow fly into the kitchen. It was Mystique in disguised, willing to talk to the professor. Everyone was ready to use their powers, Professor Xavier and Wolverine intervenes just in time. The institute stood their ground for the time being, Mystique was known to be a strong fighter, but they noticed that something was different about her. She easily surrender without putting up a fight.
"Mystique why are you here?" Wolverine put his claws towards Mystique.
"I'm here for my son of course, but I need to talk to the Professor." Mystique holds her ground.
"It's alright everyone, I'm sure something is going on if she is here." Professor approaches Mystique.
"I'm here to join the X men, and you're right something big is going down, and it going to get ugly." Mystique approaches.
"Muzzer you really want to join the X men, but vhy?" Kurt asked.
"Of course my boy." Mystique hugs Kurt.
"I'm not buying it all." Storm had her arms folded.
"Ok I'm lets hear her out, what is going on that makes you want to join us?" Professor Xavier asked.
"Well for starters, a demonic mutant and a massive army is headed our way, he goes by Azazel, and he's Kurt's father." Mystique informed the Institute.
"Azazel, that's a name I haven't heard that name in years, I thought you destroyed his empire years ago." Professor Xavier sounded concern.
"I did, he had rebuild it." Mystique responded.
"Um ok, how he's supposed get here?" Scott asked.
"He needs 7 power orbs to activate Hell's gate, he already had 6, he needs one more I took it a long time ago, and he thinks it's in Bayville." Mystique replied.
"Where is the last orb?" Jean asked.
"That's the problem, I don't remember." Mystique tries to remember.
"Well, vhat about my new powers?" Kurt asked.
"Your new powers is known as Umbra kinesis, the power of darkness." Mystique informed her son.
"Woah." Kurt was surprised.
"Wait hold on now, Mystique, one of us, I don't buy it." Rogue her adopted daughter was against the idea.
"Let's give her a chance Rogue, I do want to be close to my birth muzzer and plus she is the only one who what we're up against." Kurt vouched for his mother.
"He has already sent his two lieutenants Lucille and Nino, both of them are bad news." Mystique said as she wraps her arm around Kurt.
"Ok fine, but you have you have to prove yourself first, how much do love us?" Rogue as Mystique hugs her with tears rolling down her face.
"Back in Egypt, I really meant it, I really love you both." Mystique continues to hug her daughter.
"You really mean it, you're serious about joining us?" Rogue asked.
"Of course I am." Mystique said as Rogue hugs her back.
"Well welcome to the team mom." Rogue said as she wipes tears from her face.
"Are you sure about this?" Storm asked.
"Yes we are." Kurt responded.
A few moments later a magnetism manipulating mutant by the name of Magneto enters. He overhears
the conversation. He was once an enemy of the X men and now he is one of them. He changed his ways after joining them.
"So Azazel was alive this whole time?" Magneto asked.
"I thought he went down along with his empire, but I was wrong." Mystique responded.
"Then it's settled, Mystique is officially one of us now." Professor Xavier stated.
"Ok fine welcome to the team Mystique, good have you." Wolverine shakes Mystique's hand.
"Likewise." Mystique was really happy to be given a chance.
"Ok what's the plan?" Storm asked.
"Kurt needs training, he's going to need it, I have to remember where that orb is and be on the lookout for Lucille and Nino." Mystique came up with a plan.
"For now let's focus on training, we have to be fully prepared for what's coming." Wolverine said as he munches on an apple.
"Logan is right, I'm leaving Kurt in your hands Mystique, try to remember where that last orb is." Professor said.
"Of course, Kurt come with me." Mystique and Kurt heads outside.
"Coming muzzer." Kurt follows his mother.
"So it looks like we have a major battle on our hands." Storm said as finished cleaning dishes.
"Yes we sure do, now with Mystique on our side we have a chance." Beast replied.
"Right, get the students ready for a training section, our preparation begins now." Professor said.
