Chapter 49: Knightwalker and Thorson.
The Edolas Fairy Tail wizards were running amok in panic, as if the apocalypse itself were upon them. "What the hell is going on here?" Ur said, as then Edolas Droy spoke up. "You don't know?! We are about to be attack by Knightwalker and Thorson!" Edolas Droy shouted.
"Knightwalker and Thorson?" Carla thought. "But sadly, Levy is too slow to work!" Edolas Jet shouted. "Hey! This is harder than what you think it is, you asshole!" Edolas Levy shouted. She was currently in front of a set of levers of buttons that seemed to be connected to the entire Guild Hall.
"Then work faster, dammit!" Edolas Lucy shouted. "As if you could do any better, you cow!" Edolas Levy shouted. "Oh yeah, I bet you want a fight, flat chest!" Lucy shouted in anger.
But then, large explosion were heard from outside, causing more worry and fear on everyone within the Edolas Fairy Tail Guild.
"Girls, I don't think it's the time for you to fight". Edolas Elfman said. "He's right. If you fight now, who knows what will happen next!" Edolas Lisanna said.
The Edolas counterparts of Lucy and Levy looked at other harshly, but then both of them sighed, as Edolas Lucy minded her own business, while Edolas Levy went back on working on the machine.
As the explosions went louder for every second that passed by, eventually Edolas Levy were able to fix the machine in time.
"Alright everyone, hold on tight!" Edolas Levy said, and then everyone went to grab their respective object, whatever it was a chair, table, pillar, stairs or even floor.
"As much I hate to say this, but you better do what she says!" Edolas Lucy said, as she held tight onto a box.
Natsu, Ur, Happy, Wendy and Carla saw there was no time or choice to argue. Ur, Happy and Wendy went on grab on some stairs, while Carla held onto a bar chair, and Natsu a table.
"Alright, here we go!" Levy said, before pulling down the lever, and once she did that, the entire Guild was glowing in a bright light. Then, a large flash was emitted, and then, it was completely gone.
At the same time, on a completely different area, the Edolas Guild Hall then appeared in a flash, standing in its new place, far away from its previous spot.
Inside, the Guild Members of Edolas Fairy Tail sighed in relief.
Natsu and the others got up from their position they to hold during the teleportation, as then Happy went to speak. "What just happened?" Happy said, scratching his head.
"Knightwalker and Thorson happened. They were about to attack us, but luckily Levy managed to use the teleporter to have the entire guild to a different place." Edo Mira said.
"The entire guild hall?!" Wendy said with shock. "Yeah, but at the cost of large amount of Magic Power. It leads us to use it rarely." Edolas Juvia said, watching the smoking Machine, along with the others.
"But the most important thing is that we escaped them." Edolas Levy said, focusing on the machine. "Yeah, if they caught us, it would absolutely be the end of us." Edolas Juvia said.
"Yeah, the king's strongest fighters, who each have gave us nothing but trouble in the past." Edolas Droy explained. "Yeah, even if it sounds cowardly, fighting them would be suicide." Edolas Jet said.
"Excuse me, but who are ´them´ you are speaking of?" Wendy asked. "Have you lived in a cave in your whole life?" Edolas Wendy asked. "You should know about the strongest fighters of Edolas, working as King Faust´s most powerful warriors, and the elites of the Royal Army." Edolas Mira said.
"They consist of Erza Knightwalker, the strongest woman of Edolas, and the strongest man of Edolas, Laxus Thorson." Edolas Juvia said.
At the same time, on the previous spot of the Edolas Fairy Tail Guild...
A group of armored knights, who were the soldiers of Edolas, and a group of large, reptile-like creatures with wings and large snouts, the Legions, were currently investigating the spot the Edolas Guild had disappeared.
"Soldier, status report!" A strict voice from a woman was heard. "Yes!" a soldier said, his fist on the ground. "I apologize, but it seems that Fairy Tail had escaped!" The Soldier said.
"Again, I see." The woman in charge said. "But what should we do then, Lady Knightwalker?" the Soldier asked.
Erza Knightwalker, the Royal Captain of the 2nd Magic War Division, was a young, voluptuous and very beautiful woman, but has a stern and serious expression on her face and brown eyes. She had her long hair in a frill knot. For clothing, Knightwalker wore a pair of dark colored boots, black speedos with a brown, silver buckled belt, a white sash around her waist, a dark bikini with silver lining, long dark colored, armor gloves with a white frill on each of them, and a blue scarf around her neck.
In her hand, Knightwalker held a spear, which were dark purple in color, and had four jagged blades at the top.
"Again? It sure has become a bad habit for us. Isn't it, Knightwalker?" A male voice, causing the Edolas version of Erza turn to see the owner of the voice.
It was a tall, muscular man, with gray eyes, a scar on the left side of his face, and long, blonde hair.
He wore a pair of black pants, white boots, a black, golden buckled belt with the kanji for "Thunder", a black, long sleeved shirt with eight, white buttons on the chest, black, metallic bracers, a red cape that had a black Edolas Emblem on the back. On his head, he wore a golden helmet with wings on the side, connected to a golden chin strap. In his hand, he held a golden hammer.
This man was Laxus Thorson, the Royal Army Captain of the 1st Magic War Division.
"You think I carry the same foolishness as you, Thorson? I would have captured them if you weren't too slow." Knightwalker said, but Thorson simply laughed. "Slow? Me? You cannot mean that, I am the `Storm General,´ after all." Thorson gloated, but Knightwalker ignored it as a response.
"But what should we do, Lady Knightwalker?" another Edolas soldier asked. "Move back to the Capital. We shall discuss our next move there." Knightwalker ordered. "What? Quitting already? I thought you weren't going to let them go past you?" Thorson said.
"If we stand here, time will only go for nothing. And I don't see you wanting to go after them." Knightwalker said. "As if I want spend my time hunting these weaklings." Thorson said. "Whatever they are, as criminals of Edolas, we shall not allow them to escape from our clutches." Knightwalker said in a dark tone, and Thorson smirked as a response.
Knightwalker, Thorson and the other Edolas soldiers, went into their respective Legion, before the gigantic reptiles went flying towards the air, towards the Capital City of Edolas, the Royal City.
Meanwhile, back at the Edolas Fairy Tail Guild Hall...
Natsu, Wendy, Ur, Happy and Carla were currently at a table, discussing of what they had just heard.
"Knightwalker and Thorson must be sure strong." Wendy said, still in shock of what she had heard.
"Yeah, even now we have hard time to believe." Happy whispered said. "Yeah, apparently, our expectations were the opposites of what we thought." Natsu said. "But now we know one thing for certain, that not all Edolas Counterparts are opposites of their Earth Land ones." Ur said, as the others agreed on her.
"But what should we do then? Thorson and Knightwalker are sure to be within the capital, where our friends are." Wendy said. "Yeah, and even if we can use Magic here because of the X-Balls, we must make sure to not underestimate them. They may use Magic different from out world, but they must use powerful ones, seeing from their reputation and status." Ur said.
"Meaning we must avoid them at all cost. After all, we came here to save our friends, not to fight. And even if we are forced to fight, we must make sure not to underestimate them." Carla said.
"Yeah, Erza in our world is strong as we know it, and our Laxus was strong enough to put me, Erza, Gray, and everyone else at our limit." Natsu said.
"Any ideas?" Wendy asked. "Well, for starters, we must make sure to head towards the capital for our friends, but once there, we need to find a way to turn them back to Earth Land." Ur said.
"Which leads for us to find a way to return to Earth Land as well." Wendy said. "Yes, but Mystogan must have found a way, or else he wouldn't have sent us here in the first place." Carla said.
"Alright, I know the capital is very likely big, but where do we find it?" Natsu said. "Well, for starters, if we ask anyone around here, they would for sure hesitate, and even prevent us from reaching there." Carla said, and went to speak further.
"This means we'll have to find the capital on our own. If we walk around Edolas, we are sure to find the city." Carla explained. "I see. And remember that Mystogan said that some of our friends, who aren't in custody of the Royal Army, were in Edolas too?" Wendy said. "That´s right. We need make sure to find them before they are captured too." Ur said, and then Natsu got up from his table.
"Then we should make a move. The more we are standing there, the sooner it will be over for our friends. We wouldn't want that, do we?" Natsu said. "Agree, but we still must be careful. Even if we ask for the direction for the capital, it will cause risks of our mission into failing. Remember that." Carla said, as everyone agreed and then headed outside the Edolas Guild.
Lucy Ashley, took noticed of the group from Earth Land´s actions, and once they were out of the door, she decided to move as well.
"Lucy? Where are you headed?" Mira asked, taking notice of Lucy´s actions. "I am going after them. Natsu have been acting strange for a while." Edolas Lucy said. "Lucy, please don't tell me you fallen for him? It's strange with him going over Juvia." Edolas Levy said. "As if! Something's strange and I'm going to find out what it is." Edo Lucy said, before then leaving.
Later...
Within the Royal City, a big city with towering buildings, standing out of the other cities in Edolas. Within its center, there was a large castle, and inside of its walls, resided the King and its top generals.
Within the walls, Erza Knightwalker and Laxus Thorson, walked through, as they had recently entered.
"Welcome back, Knightwalker-sama, Thorson-sama!" A female voice was heard, causing the duo to stop at their tracks.
It was a young girl with white hair, brown eyes and a red rose hairclip on her right side. She wore a pair of black pants, white boots, long black coat with a golden zipper, silver gloves and white shoulder pads. On her head, she wore a black, gold trimmed hat.
This was Yukino Flakes, the Lieutenant of the First Royal Army Division, and the adviser to Laxus Thorson.
"Flakes, what's status report?" Thorson said. "The other Royal Captains have already come. We have already prepared for the meeting." Edolas Yukino said.
"I see. Thank you for telling us." Knightwalker, and then:
"Well, well, well. Look what the cats dragged in." A male voice said, making Thorson, Knightwaker and Edolas Yukino turn to see the owner.
It was a tall man, with blonde hair in a pompadour, blue eyes and a double clefted chin. He wore pink armor, gauntlets and boots, a sword at his hip and a white cape, which had a black Edolas Emblem on the back.
"But did you have any better luck, Sugarboy?" Knightwalker said.
The Royal Army Captain of the Fifth Army Division simple shrugged as a response.
"Hey, hey, hey. I am not on your level of power, you know that. But to think that our mightiest warriors would fail, what kind of view do you think the citizens would have on you?" Sugarboy asked.
"Keep your tongue to yourself, if you want to keep it. One day, Fairy Tail will fall down to our hands. One day, their luck will end." Thorson said.
"Then you better hurry up. His Majesty can sure be impatient." Another voice said, entering the scene.
It was a young man with purple hair, having a white streak on the left included and yellow eyes.
He wore a pair of white pants, black shoes, a dark shirt with yellowish, net-like pattern on, a long, white coat with golden lines and golden shoulder pads and white cape.
"Hughes, cutting into business as usual." Knightwalker said. "What? We are all fellow captains of the Royal Army, of course we all need to know what is happening." Hughes said, as the Royal Captain of the Fifth Magic War Division walked with a smirk.
"You shouldn't fight here. We captains are to prevent chaos, not to make it." A voice said.
It was a tall, muscular, cat-like man, with a black fur coat with white fur as well. He has whiskers, a tail and round ears. He wore a silver chest plate, silver bracers, dark green, baggy pants, boots, a light-yellow cape and a silver helmet, which had a yellowish feather plume.
He was Panther Lily, an Exceed and the Captain of the Third Magic War Division.
"Panther Lily, how nice of you to butt in." Thorson said with a smirk. "I am not here to chat, but to inform of the meeting that is about to begin soon." Panther Lily said.
"I see. It was about the Anima taking Magic Power from Earth Land, right?" Sugarboy said. "Yeah, and it was pretty big if I recall correctly." Hughes said.
"Yes, but hopefully, it will make sure to preserve our peace for a time. But shall not let ourselves be spoiled by that, since we still have problems to take care of." Panther Lily said.
At the same time...
Natsu, Ur, Wendy, Carla and Happy walked through a large desert, searching for the Royal City, but without any success.
"Dammit, this is taking us nowhere! At this rate, we can never find the city and save our friends!" Happy said. "Yes, but eventually we are going to find it sooner or later." Wendy said. "Then we should hurry, as we cannot waste any time here." Carla said.
But then suddenly, three large pink colored, frog-like lizards erupted from the sandy ground, standing before the group of Earth Land wizard.
"We got company." Natsu said. "Well, no choice but to handle them, right?" Ur said with a smirk, as Ice Magic gathered in her hands, as Wendy used her Sky Dragon Slayer Magic, and Natsu had darkness in his hands.
"Happy, Carla, stay there. We're gonna handle them!" Natsu said, which Carla has nodded, and then Ur, Natsu and Wendy jumped towards the trio of Frog-Lizards, each of them using their respective Magics.
"Abyss Dragon´s Iron Fist!" Natsu said, punching a Frog-Lizard in the face "Ice-Make: Sword!" Ur said, slashing a Frog Lizard with an Ice Sword. "Sky Dragon´s Claw!" Wendy said, kicking a Frog Lizard in the stomach.
The trio of Frog Lizards sent away flying, their landing caused a large pillar of sand to be erupted.
As the sand pillar died down, showing the trio of Frog Lizard lying unconscious and beaten.
With the group smiling at their victory, a sudden, fourth Frog Lizard appeared from the ground, ready to strike the Earth Land wizards.
But before none of them could even prepare to lay a blow, a sudden figure came jumping in the scene, and struck the giant Frog Lizard in the face with a energy whip.
The group with silent of they just saw, and once the unconscious Frog Lizard fell down the ground, the figure landed and turned around, revealing to be Lucy Ashley.
"Lucy?!" Natsu, Happy and Wendy said, as the Counterpart of the Blonde Celestial Spirit Mage walked towards them.
"I bet you're wondering why I am here, but I have my reasons." Edo Lucy said. "You are really going to take down the King, right?" Edolas Lucy said.
The Earth Land group responded in silence, and Carla was the one speak.
"You followed us well, and you're not going stop us?" Carla asked. "Carla!" Wendy said.
"Holy shit, an Exceed?!" Edolas Lucy shouted in shock, jumping back and taking out her energy whip in defense.
"Please, calm down, we won't do you any harm!" Ur said. "Oh yeah, then tell me you have good damn Exceed with you! What the hell is wrong with you people?!" Edolas Lucy said. "What's wrong with that?!" Natsu said annoyed. "Natsu, it's alright." Carla said in calm tone, which Natsu has calmed down as well. "But if we are dangerous as you say, why do think you we are having such a problem right now to the Royal City?" Carla said.
Edolas Lucy was silent for a moment, thinking as she did have a point, before she then sighed and took of her whip.
"You have a point there." Edolas Lucy said, and then.
"You are going against the kingdom itself, which I thought was crazy first. But seeing your strength, and your ability to use Magic, different from what we usually see, it seems we might stand a chance." Edolas Lucy said.
"But you're going need more than strength, and if I heard you right, you are sure need of information." Edolas Lucy said.
"You trust us then?" Natsu asked. "Look, for years, other than my guild, I have met those who oppose the King, but never those who want to fight him head on." Edolas Lucy said.
"You're helping us then?" Natsu asked. "Yeah, but I have questions for you to ask, so you are going explain some things to me, understood?" Edolas Lucy asked. "Don't worry, we will." Ur said.
An hour went on, and the group explained to Edolas Lucy of their journey to Edolas, that they were from Earth Land, were part of their version of the Fairy Tail Guild, and were to save their friends, even if they were forced to fight the King himself.
"Wow, it's hard to bear it after hearing all that." Edolas Lucy said. "Yeah, we were quite surprised to see our counterparts very different from ourselves, and our friends." Natsu said.
"But it does explain a lot actually, including why you didn't try to wow to Juvia back then." Edolas Lucy said. "What?" A confused Natsu said, gaining the others attentions as well.
"You have tried to vow to Juvia for God how long, and without any success! But I should have suspected something when you barely even paid attention to her back at our guild." Edolas Lucy said.
"Your Natsu did that?" Wendy asked. "Well yeah, ever since Juvia joined our guild, Natsu have been hopelessly in love with her, trying in vain to vow or even talk to Juvia. He usually spends his time into stalking her." Edolas Lucy said, remembering when she and the other Edolas Guild Members saw Edolas Natsu´s attempts on Edolas Juvia.
"Wow, that's very different." Ur said. "Really, please tell me more. I am curious." Edolas Lucy said with a grin. "Well, it is our Juvia who is having a crush on Natsu. Hell, he even made him one of his Mates." Ur said.
"I see. Well that´s a different." Edolas Lucy said, and then realization struck her. "Wait, one of his Mates? What do you mean by that?" Edolas Lucy asked.
Ur went a bit red, before she then answered her question. "Well, you see, Natsu in our world has a harem, which I am even I am part of. And trust me; he does please his harem very well." Ur explained.
Edolas Lucy´s eyes went wide, while Wendy´s face went red and even steam emitted, hearing it from Ur.
"Wow, so different from our Natsu." Lucy said in an amazed tone, after hearing what Earth Land Natsu had accomplised.
"But can we call you Ashley, to avoid confusion?" Happy asked. "Sure, I don't see a problem." Ashley said.
"By the way, where are we headed now?" Wendy asked. As they all were going towards the Royal City, they know they would need to make some stops here and there for planning, restocking and such.
"Does that mean we're going to make stops here and there?" Happy said. "Yes. However, even on our way, you should all be on your guard. Whatever enemy may come, you must be on your guard. Especially the Royal Army, since the King has been in rule for years." Ashley said.
While Ashley was walking, her eyes were shadowed, causing Natsu to take notice of it. As he wanted to ask Ashley what was wrong, but he also felt it was for the best.
Eventually, they eventually left the desert area, as they went stumbled into a large jungle.
In their journey inside the jungle, they came across many hinders within, like traps such as quick sands, or beasts like giant spiders, which they easily handled.
Much later, they eventually arrived at a waterfall within the middle of the jungle.
"Alright, we have our first stop here. We should stay here for a while to wash up, gather some supplies and rest before we then move on." Ashley said. "Alright, me and Happy will then go and gather some food for us to eat." Natsu said.
"You do that. We sure have worked on a lot of grime since we arrived here." Carla said. "Yeah, which a dip would be nice to take." Ur said, while Natsu and Happy headed inside the jungle.
Once the Pink-Haired Dragon Slayer, and the Blue Furred Cat were gone, Wendy, Ur, Ashley and Carla proceed to strip for their bath. "WIth the coast clear, as Natsu will be gone for a while, we shall take our time to relax." Ashley said, removing her boots. "I will be nice with a swim. I haven't bathed since we arrived here." Wendy said. "But since we are in a different world, we shouldn't let our guard down." Carla said. "Couldn't agree with you less." Ashley said.
"But for now, we all should just..." Ur said, turned around to the jungle, before she was about to pull her pants down, she pressed the button on her pants, and soon enough, with enough force, send the button at a bullet´s speed, going straight towards the leaves of the jungle trees, hitting something, or someone.
A loud voice of pain was heard, which then fell from the trees, first on the twigs before then loudly on the ground.
The group took immediately notice, as they proceeded to run towards the target that Ur had knocked down onto the ground.
"What was that?!" Wendy said, running towards the scene, as neither she or the others girls had managed to undress.
"I think we got ourselves an unwanted visitor." Ur said, and the unwanted visitor groaned in pain, and the others widened their eyes in shock of what they saw.
It was a small, humanoid cat, with brown fur, black eyes, triangle-shaped ears, a long tail, and had orange hair on his head. He wore a pair of blue pants, a red t-shirt and a black vest with a large, white "G" on the back. But most noticing thing, was his face.
"Is that you, Gildarts-san?!" A shocked Wendy shouted, which the Brown Furred Cat immediate took notice of, looking at incredible fright and terror of the situation he was in.
But as "Gildarts" quickly got up, the small brown cat backed away with his paws waving in front of himself nervously.
"Well, hi there! I never expected to meet any company on my journey of research, for you see, I was only checking for some rare herbs within the tree, but then suddenly..." The small cat tried to explain, but was sweating as if he was in an oven.
But the group were not falling it for one bit, as they simply were having dark looks on the little pervert that were trying to watch them bathe.
Ashley went towards and grabbed the Exceed by the throat, lifting him up.
"Well, it seem you are in trouble again, Gil." Ashley said in a scary tone.
"You know him?" Carla asked. "And you sure aren't scared of him despite earlier." Wendy said, remembering earlier of Ashley´s reaction of him and Carla being Exceed, as opposed to Ashley´s reaction earlier.
"Well yeah, Gil here is a wanted criminal for his perverted actions, which led him to be banished from Extalia, and becoming a Fallen Exceed." Ashley Explained. "Extalia? Fallen Exceed?" Happy asked. "I will explain those later, but right now, this fella is in real trouble right now." Ashley said with a dark look on her face, causing Gil to panic even more.
At the same time, Natsu and Happy arrived in the scene, after hearing the sound earlier.
"Ur! Wendy! Ashley!" Natsu said, running beside a flying Happy. "Carla! We heard a scream, you okay?!" Happy said, but then he and Natsu noticed Gil on the ground.
"Gildarts?! What the heck are you doing here?!" Natsu shouted in shock.
"Gildarts?! Who the hell is Gildarts, I'm Gil you asshole!" Gil said, struggling within the grisp of Ashley´s mighty hand. "Listen here, Kitty. If you want to be alive, then you better not do anything rash, alright?" Ashley said in a scary tone, further scaring him.
"What is going on here, Happy?" Natsu said confused. "I don't know, but I never thought I see the day Lucy taking a hold onto Gildarts." Happy said. "My name is Gil, dammit!" Gil shouted, but was then thrown by Ashley down the ground in a comical fashion onto the ground, making the others sweat drop.
"You have no right to speak!" Ashley shouted comically, while Gil groaned comically in pain.
"I bet you two in need of an exploration." Ashley said sighing. "Yes, we do." Natsu and Happy said while sweat dropping.
Later on, Ashley explained to Natsu and Happy what had happened, and Gil have been tied by a rope, much to the annoyance to the brown furred cat.
"I see, so that´s what happened." Natsu said, watching the tied Gil struggling. "Come on guys, this isn't fair! It's never wrong for a guy to have some fun!" Gil comically whined, trying to break free in vain.
Ashley took another deep sigh. "For years, Gil has been wanted across Edolas, hunted down by both humans and Exceed for his perverted behavior." Ashley said. "Well, I am quite famous, aren't I?" Gil said with a sparkling grin, which led to a stone being thrown at him by an annoyed Ashley.
"You seem to know him quite well..." Wendy said. "If I do! Ashley have the biggest knockers in Edolas! With her on my mind, she has the number one...!" Gil said in a perverted tone, but was to be stomped by an annoyed Ashley, who had tick marks on her face.
Natsu laughed, Ur giggled, Happy looked blankly, Carla sighed and Wendy blushed while steaming a bit, all watching Ashley stomping Gil. But she eventually stopped and then sighing, a badly beaten Gil on the ground.
"Wow, in our world, Gildarts is different; he may be a pervert, but at least a strong one." Happy said. "You say your Gil is a warrior?" Ashley said, shocked of what she was hearing. "Yep, the strongest pervert in Fairy Tail in fact." Happy said with a grin, causing those around him to sweat drop.
"But then, this means Gil must be the Edolas version of Gildarts, based on what we witnessed earlier."
A grinning Natsu went towards the tied Gil, who were sweating upon seeing the pink-haired man.
"But damn, to think that the guy who defeated me countless times back on Earth Land in the past, would be so different in Edolas." Natsu said.
"Watch your mouth kid; I am more powerful than you can think..." Gil said, but was kicked in the face by Ashley. "You better know your own position right now, you pervert! For months you have been nothing but a bothering nuisance to me and the other girls at Fairy Tail!" Ashley comically yelled.
"What's wrong with having an interest on some good lookers, eh?! You have no idea what a man like me wants to do before he dies!" Gil comically whined.
Natsu and Happy watched the scene sweat dropping before them. "Man, this Edolas world sure is upside down, ain't it?" Happy said. "Agree with you there." Natsu said.
"But what are we going to do now? I can't be taking a bath now with this pervert around now." Ashley said. "Yeah, I do not mind bathing, but I think it's best for the others." Ur said, with the others agreed with him.
"And we gotta keep this pervert in check, as we don't want other poor girls be victims of him." Ashley said, referring to the struggling Gil on the ground.
"I agree. I think we should be moving now. As of now, whatever was in the wilderness, or the city, danger may lurk by." Carla said. "Yeah, and if I remember right..." Ashley said, pulling out a map and opening it on the ground.
"There should be a city known as Louen. In the past, it used to sell Magics to people in the past, but due to the King forbidding Magics, it was closed down, and has since then become a black market for those for the wizards of Edolas." Ashley explained.
"You think it's a good place for us to go?" Ur said. "Yeah, even if you can use Magic here for whatever reason, I cannot, as I need to buy some weapons there." Ashley explained.
"But does that mean you are the weakest of us?" Happy said, resulting Ashley slamming her foot on the ground, mere inches from Happy, filled with fear.
"What was that, kitty?" Ashley said in a scary tone with shadowed eyes. "Nothing, you are not weak!" Happy said in a terrified tone, scared shitless.
"Edolas Lucy-san is sure scary..." Wendy said, as the other sweat dropped and agreed with the young, Blue Haired Sky Dragon Slayer.
But before of them could say another word, a dome of water were suddenly rising from the lake, and a gigantic, pink octopus with eight, large tentacles with crab pincers as claws, red eyes and spikes on its head, appeared.
Unleashing a large roar, Gil panicked with fear, as Ashley, Carla and Wendy had serious expressions, while Natsu, Ur and Happy were calmly still.
"OH MY GOD! I thought I wouldn't encounter any monsters today!" Gil screamed.
Ur went then forwards, preparing her move. "What's there to worry? This will be over in an instant." Ur said while grinning, and then used her Ice Magic to then freeze the entire gigantic octopus within an instant.
Gil was gaping in shock, while Ashley looked in amazement. "Incredible..." Ashley said. "Alright, forget what I said. She is a freaking monster." Gil thought terrified.
Seconds after, it then shattered completely into millions of pieces, and a smiling Ur turned back. "Well, shall be going?" Ur asked. "Y-yeah! I agree!" Ashley said, snapping out of her trance. "You´ll get used to it in due time." Carla said. "Yeah, we have done way crazier things than this!" Happy said, making Ashley and Carla sweat drop.
Later, the groups were walking across the fields of Edolas, with Gil tied and gagged up for him not to escape or cause any sound for enemies to hear.
"Was it really necessary to gag him up?" Wendy asked worried. "Look, Gil here has caused trouble for me, the girls at Fairy Tail and every woman here enough trouble that it is." Ashley said sighing, watching the tied Gil being carried by Natsu over his shoulder.
"Man, to think I would be carrying on Gildarts like this. Edolas sure is weird." Natsu thought.
Eventually, they came into a large town with building in the shape of rocks with holes, which Ashley recognized. "Look guys, we are there at Louen!" Ashley said. "Alright, then we should get geared up and eventually plan our next move." Natsu said, walking forward but Ashley grabbed him by his collar. "Hold it right there! In any case, there will be soldiers out there waiting to arrest us, and even if you can defeat them, it would be hard for us to buy anything because of the commotion." Ashley said.
"Then what do you suggest we do?" Wendy asked, which Ashley responded with a grin. The Blonde Edolas Counterpart went to a spot, which had a group of three trees around a large rock, then found a square hole within the boulder, before then pulling out a key from her large cleavage, pulling out what seemed to be a key, but with a square blade which she inserted into the hole.
Some twisting's later; clockwork machinery was heard from within the boulder, before it then opened a door on the boulder.
"You have a key there?" Natsu asked. "Yeah, since they are few who buy Magics these days, some `customers´ are allowed to have keys to rare entrances to the black market, hence why I didn't use the key earlier." Ashley explained.
"Okay, but then let's go so that we can make any progress, so we can move onwards." Ur said, before they then walked down the stone staircase and into the corridors, with torches on the walls.
After a while of walking, they eventually came to a room, which the black market shop was set at.
As they entered, they saw several different Items and tools on the shelves, probably being the Magic Tools of Edolas, coming off in different shapes, forms and sizes.
"I'm going to buy some weapons, as well some other supplies too, I will not take long." Ashley said, before going to the counter, before turning around again. "And make sure to have that blasted cat not do anything funny, alright?" Ashley said, as Gil got an angry face as response.
The Earth Land Fairy Tail Mages looked around, seeing the various Edolas Magic Items on the shelves.
"It's sad to see that Magic have become illegal." Ur said. "I agree, but with a world limited to Magic unlike Earth Land, Edolas sure have taken more drastic methods in order to survive." Carla said.
"Drastic enough for the people to rebel against him. To think that things have become that bad, shows how truly mad he must have become." Carla said.
The others understood, as they couldn't believe that their limit to Magic have led to such a horrible state.
"Dammit, is there anything we can do?" Happy said, looking down the floor.
"If there is anything we can do, we can. What we are going to do is crazy..." Ashley said, eyes shadowed and then turned around, but with a confident smile on her face.
"But even if didn't know you for long, I am sure you will handle whatever may come." Ashley said.
The others smiled in response as well, with a grinning Natsu speaking.
"Don't worry. As we said earlier, we won't fail you." Natsu said grinning. He noticed again at Ashley behavior seconds ago, but still thought it was the best not to speak.
Later on, the group exited the Black-Market Shop of Magic, through a secret door in the alleyways. They then put on their disguises, while Ashley put on a grey, hooded cloak, with Gil hiding under it, much to his delight. This then resulted with Ashley threatening to do something worse than death, if he did anything perverse. That made Gil terrified and immediately did as he was told.
But as they then walked in the city of Louen, talking about their next move.
"Alright, what next?" Happy asked. "Well, first things first, we need to obviously find any information about the King and his armies, as well how they work." Carla said. "Then Ashley will of course explain what she knows." Ur said.
But before they could speak any further, a loud explosion was heard.
"What the hell was that?!" Happy said, as they saw a group of Edolas soldiers running towards the direction the explosion came from.
"What is going on?" Wendy asked. "Whatever it is, it seems to be a fight going on." Carla said. "Then I don't see a reason not to rush in!" Natsu said, before then running towards the area.
"Wait, Natsu!" Wendy shouted, but it was in vain, as Carla sighed in frustration. "Dammit, he can be sure hopeless sometimes." Carla said. "But then, it gives us a reason to follow him, right?" Ur said. "Agree, we better go with Natsu!" Happy said, as they all ran towards Natsu, whom were standing still for some reason, which they took notice off.
"Natsu? What's the matter?" Happy asked, as then the blue-furred cat, and the others were silent of their response, seeing what was in front of them.
Around the Edolas soldiers; Lucy Heartfila and Layla Heartfilia were surrounded by them. In their hands, they held their Celestial Spirit Keys.
"This again? Things just keep coming at us everywhere!" Lucy said. "Yeah, but we should be able take them on with ease, before we then run." Layla said. "Can't argue with you there!" Lucy said.
As the Earth Land group were silent what they saw, surprisingly Ashley were the most shocked.
"Mom?" Ashley said, tears starting to come from her eyes, taking the attention of everyone, including immediately.
