A.N:

This is the year I was most excited about. I've been replaying this chap as a movie in my head over and over, trying to get it right. I do love how this chap turned out.

Also, I'd like to now do what I've wanted to do, since chapter one, and issue a writing challenge. The challenge is simple: write a Tom/Naruto/Harry family unit story. Tom and Naruto could be the couple, or Naruto and Harry, or hell Tom and Harry could be Naruto's sons and Naruto raises them together as cute little murder machines in the leaf village. Naruto does not have to be a girl or a boy, can even be non-binary. The main point is for Tom, Naruto, and Harry to be together in a weird family full of love.

The Zelda movie I mentioned does not exist, I wish it did. but I did hear that a movie is in the works, so I hold out my opinion till I watch it.

Also sorry for taking so long, I finally got a beta reader, and she so so helpful, and inspiring. Plus my GM from my job helped me out so shout out to these people. Also my boyfriend put grammarly on my computer, so that has helped.

This is a part one of four for this year, so many ideas, that it needed to be done this way.

...

Gaara stared down at the body of his uncle. He felt numb. His uncle had said he hated him. No one will love him. Hoping for someone to love him will just be a weakness. He raised his uncle's kuni to his forehead, only to be stopped by a voice.

"Well, he was unoriginal."

Gaara looked up to meet Tomū's gaze.

"What?" Gaara crooked out.

Tomū met his gaze with one full of neutrality. "How he tried to kill you was unoriginal. I did better murder attempts when I was five."

Gaara furrowed his brow, "you've killed?"

Tomū looked amused. "I have. I propose a partnership."

Gaara glared at the other boy, "How do I know you won't try to kill me?"

Tomū smirked, "How do I know you won't kill me? We could both kill each other, easily I might add, so we will be useful to each other."

"How?"

Tomu stepped forward, "We shall be confidants to each other. We will help each other. if a body happens to pop up we will help the other to hide the body."

"Why would you want to help me?" Garra asked, eyes narrowed.

Now Tomu smiled, one full of nostalgia. "I have a friend, who helped me in my darkest moment. Although," he added, laughing a bit, "she would have yelled at me for killing someone."

Garra was confused, "why keep her around? Why not…kill her?"

Tomū gave the boy a contemplative stare, the smile still there as he thought of the blond, "At first I wanted to kill her, but couldn't, then I didn't want to.

"Why?"

Tomū's smile turned sad, "because I grew to love her."

…..

"Are you sure this will work?" Naruto asked for about the tenth time in half as many minutes.

Tom nodded, mentally reminding himself he could not kill Naruto. He didn't even want to, she was just getting on his nerves, and in the past killing the thing that pissed him off had always been effective. So he forced a neutral tone into his voice. "Of course I am Naruto. I thought it through completely."

Naruto snorted, "Right sorry, riddle-SAMA. I must still be in a bad mood after SOMEONE hid my book.

"Porn," Tom said offhandedly.

"Fine, you hid my PORN."

"You weren't paying attention, you'll have it back tonight."

Naruto pouted, "Still not fair," but shut up for the most part.

Tom was finally able to pay full attention to what he was trying to do. "Krecher!" He knew that Regulus had told the elf to obey him, and he could only hope that the boy hadn't thought to change the order.

A pop sounded and a house elf was in front of them. The elf was ragged, old, and muttering. "The man who led master Regulus and Krecher. The filthy murderer killed my master Regulus."

Tom scowled, "Do you know where Regulus took my locket Krecher?"

The old elf blinked bleary-eyed. "The dark lord looks different than he did, but he is the same."

Tom did his best to not hurt the elf, but the small thing was getting on his still slightly frazzled nerves. "The locket, elf, where is it?"

The elf moaned, tugging on his ears. "Master Regulus died to stop the dark lord, Krecher won't betray Master Regulus."

Naruto stepped forward, stopping Tom from raising his wand. She crouched down the Krecher's level, "We want to help Krecher. You said Regulus died to stop T-, I mean, the dark lord? Well, we're trying to destroy the locket."

The elf looked at the redhead with wide, unbelieving eyes which he turned to Tom. "Is the lady speaking the truth, Master dark lord"

Tom nodded, "it's true we are here to dispose of it permanently."

The elf popped away, leaving a moment for the two to look at each other in slight hope and apprehension. Soon the elf was back and the locket was clutched in his hand. Ketcher slowly held it out to Tom. The man took the Horcrux and nodded to the elf.

Naruto smiled at the elf, "You want to watch it be destroyed?"

The elf nodded, though he did take a few steps back. Not tearing his gaze from the locket.

Tom laid the horcrux on the table and turned to Naruto. "Do you want to have the honor?" Naruto grinned. Encasing her hand in a layer of red chakra. This was the one thing she had trouble with from Kurama's lessons, to use the Kyuubi's chakra not to lose herself to it, but she had done it. At least in small amounts.

She touched the locket, and they watched the Horcrux burn. Naruto grinned and turned to Krecher, "Thank you, for helping us."

Krecher nodded, "if you ever need anything, you can count on Kretcher." The elf popped off once again.

Naruto turned back to Tom, an expectant look on her face, "Can I have my book back?"

Tom sighed, "You'll just not notice things again, like with Harry at the end of the school year."

Naruto winced, she semi remembered Harry coming in, and Tom voicing his concern, then her dismissing it. Turned out Harry had just come back from a night of restraining a werewolf, and she wasn't there. It had been the start of a fight between her and Tom. She could never remember fighting with the man before that, but she didn't want another one any time soon.

It had been tense at the table for the full week that they were not speaking to each other. Poor Harry had been caught between them, unsure what was wrong, but wanting them to make up. That was the reason she went to Tom, not that she missed him. It was just she wanted Harry to feel secure, yes that was it.

They talked for an hour, and they eventually came to a composite. Even if she was a bit salty. She had agreed to put away her book during the day. Even if she complained, she couldn't fault Tom, she had ignored both him and Harry for most of the past school year.

She hadn't meant to, but if she was honest it was because of that book. The one that had served as a bedtime story for so many nights. It was there, in this world, with her. It was proving that Naruto's old life was real and that her loved ones were okay. It had been addicting to hold that old book, it had brought back so many memories. Ones with Kakashi, old man Hokage, and pervert sensei. It had hurt, but she couldn't let go, and as a consequence, she had emotionally abandoned Harry and Tom.

That was why she didn't say anything back to Tom. He was right, she needed space from that book. She needed to make it up to Harry and Tom. She would make it up to them.

...

Luna looked out the window of her room, the nargles had been particularly loud that summer. The whispered words and blurry images had been almost nonstop. Her daddy almost took her out of school that year, but she didn't let him. She was needed that year. Harry, Naruto, Tom, and the rest of her friends needed her.

Luna hummed, as she smelled fresh fruit and newly fallen rain. She turned to see a woman with long black hair, green eyes, and a rosy complexion. She was wearing muggle exercise clothes. "Hello, lady Vivus."

Vivus smiled at the blue-haired girl. "Hello, Luna. I love your hair color."

Luna nodded in thanks. "Thank you, my lady."

Vivus skipped to her bed sitting down. "How was your year?"

Luna thought for a moment. " it could've gone better." She regretted many things from the year before. The thing she regretted the most was not helping Naruto like she wanted.

Vivus nodded in understanding, "But it could've gone worse. You saved Harry from going back to the Dursleys."

Luna shuddered, at the images she had seen. The summer Harry would have had, Harry spiraling, and after years of mistreatment the fall of the wizarding world. The darkness that's within Harry, that spark would have turned into a wildfire.

"Thank you that it happened like that. Your gift warned me, and I was able to change it."

Vivus nodded. Going to the business she wanted to talk to Luna about. "Many horrible things will happen this year, you can not stop them."

Luna frowned, "why, my lady? Harry will be in worse trouble than he ever has."

"Young Uzumaki will take care of it."

Luna sighed in resignation, "Yes my lady. Is there anything I can tell him?"

"what you are, he knows only half, but he must know all if he is to protect you when the time comes."

Luna studied the woman in front of her. "You act as if he will accept Brother's gift."

Vivus snorted, "he will, Luna does not doubt it."

"Only Mother knows that for sure." Luna reminded the women.

Vivus stood, "Ah, but what am I? But the mother of all?" she then disappeared into a swirl of leaves.

…..

Theo was in deep thought as he stirred his potion. He was making several, all of the medical variety. There was a benefit to living with a potions master who was also a certified emergency medi wizard. He was going to be of use this year if the short letter from Luna was anything to go by.

It wasn't all work, he also was writing back and forth with the twins, Nevil, the girls, and Harry discussing the probability of opening a joke shop together. Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, was the twin's original dream, but one slip to the others had them all wanting to help. The twin would run the shop. Harry would fund it. Theo will help the twins with the potions and counters to joke products. Nevil would be in charge of getting the ingredients and helping Theo prep them. Herminy would keep track of the finances. Luna didn't want to work in the joke shop, rather than take over her father's magazine, but would be the cheerleader of the shop.

The letters never stopped. Theo found himself writing at least two letters at the same time. The planning was never-ending. Everyone had ideas and was excited. Theodore found that he was enjoying brainstorming with Neville and Hermione the most. He paid no heed to the rising heat in his face.

……

Tom and Naruto were proud. Harry was growing up so fast and was their little boy. They sat at their table on Harry's birthday waiting for the said boy, who was sleeping in a few more minutes before breakfast.

Both were putting the final touches on everything. The table was covered with a green cloth, with the Uzumaki swirl in the center as an orange snake. Tom was setting the table, making sure it was all up to his expectations. Naruto stacked the presents at the end. There was one from her and Tom each, and one present from each friend of Harry's.

"Tom, which Horcrux will we go after next year?" Naruto asked.

The man hummed, "I'm not sure. The diary, ring, and now locket are gone. The locations of the others are unsure."

Naruto nodded, "what do we know so far?"

"I gave Helga Hufflepuff's cup to Bellatrix, she was one of my most trusted, and most insane followers. We have Harry, but we can't kill him." Naruto nodded. "Then, of course, there's the diadem, I had hidden it in the room of requirement on the seventh floor of Hogwarts.

Naruto growled, "You mean, there has been a Horcrux in Hogwarts all this time? We could've gotten it taken care of!"

Tom huffed, "I hid it there, but students often went there to donate things they did not need or to find things they'd like."

Naruto blinked, "why did you do that?"

Tom sighed, "I thought it would be a good idea to hide one Horcrux from even myself."

Naruto growled, "After today, you will get going and destroy all of the Horcruxes you can before the end of this year."

"You expect me to be able to do so?"

Naruto nodded, "yes, I'm tired of this. We both know you've been...been….procrastinating! I want Harry safe."

Tom nodded slightly amazed at Naruto's vocabulary. Although he should not be surprised, she had spent fourteen years with him. "very well naruto I will."

They heard footsteps coming towards them and looked up as one to see Harry in the doorway. They both smiled, "Happy birthday Harry."

Naruto kissed Harry on the forehead, and a bear hug that would've killed anyone else. "My kit is growing! Stop it! I want you to say my little kit."

Harry whined, "Auntie! Let go!" he caught Tom's eye, "Help Tom!"

Tom smirked at Harry's struggles but decided to help. "Let him go, Naruto, he needs to eat. Don't make me regret letting you two have ramen for breakfast." Both Harry and Naruto were instantly hurrying to the table, causing Tom to smile. Soon their food was served and Harry and Naruto were slurping away, while Tom ate his food politely and slowly.

"So cake? Or presents?" Naruto asked Harry after they each finished their third bowl.

The answer was instant, "presents," he said eagerly.

Naruto laughed and pushed Hermione's present to him first. He tore it open to find, unsurprisingly, a book. It was a book on the genealogy of the four founders. He opened it up to see she had written a note for him.

"I think you'll find this interesting, Mother knows I did.

Happy fourteenth Harry.

See you soon.

-Hermione"

Harry hummed as he thought about it. If Hermione thought he would find something in this book, then he would read it. At least once.

The next presents were both books, also potions, and herbology textbooks from Theo and Nev respectively. From the twins were joke wands, Harry chuckled at the thought of who to use them on. From Luna was another book, but if Harry was honest it was the most interesting. 'The history and relationship of the three, by serenity lovegood.' Harry glanced over the summary. It was a book written by one of Luna's ancestors about her mother, sister, and brother. He knew which of his new books was going to be read immediately."

Naruto then handed him Tom's present, and when Harry opened it his breath caught. It was a ring. Tom smiled at Harry, he had removed all curses from the old family heirloom and had gotten it cleaned by the elves.

"Tom, what is this?" Harry asked.

"That ring has been in my family since Salazar Slytherin. I thought it was fitting to give to you." Harry nodded. He didn't say anything for a moment, not trusting his voice. It meant so much to Harry that Tom gave him an heirloom, he knew how much they meant to the man.

"Thanks, Tom," he said finally. Tom nodded, just as emotional as Harry just hiding it better.

Naruto cut through it, "Hey, hey, wait till you see my gift!"

Giving Harry an envelope. Harry opened it to find movie tickets to Legend of Zelda: Wrath of Ganon.

"What is this, Naruto?"

The woman shrugged, "I don't know, but it sounded cool!"

Tom sighed. "And when is the movie Naruto?"

Naruto grinned, "At 12:30!"

Tom cast a tempest charm, 11:45. "We better start getting ready." he gave a pointed look to Naruto and Harry. They scampered off to get ready, and Tom sighed. It was going to be a long day.

…..

Remus paced in the waiting room to Saint Mongos. His last few months had been hell. He had somehow, even after drinking the wolfsbane potion, still transformed. And had woken that next morning in a room that seemed perfect for him to transform.

At breakfast, however, it came to light that Harry was missing, and hearing that made Remus's blood drain from his face. He immediately resigned from his teaching position. Now he's feeling the pressure of guilt, possibly causing Harry to disappear. On top of everything, if it wasn't enough to possibly kill James' son, Sirius was innocent. He had doubted the man he loved, what kind of person was he? He'd known Sirius for years, how could he not know that Sirius was innocent?

A medi finally came out of the room where Sirius was. He turned to Remus, "mr black is ready for visitors. Just don't excite him too much, he's still pretty weak."

He nodded his thanks to the women and went through the open door. He took a moment just to take in the sight before him. Sirius seemed calmer than he ever did before, but he also looked like he was recovering from a long illness. He could barely see the young man he had fallen for all those years ago. Then the gaunt man turned to Remus, his face cracking into a manic grin.

"Moony! about time you came to visit," and there he was.

His voice cracked as he surged forward tackling the man, forgetting for a moment that Sirius was recovering from years of imprisonment. "Padfoot! I'm so sorry I didn't believe in you! I should've known you'd never do that to James and Lily."

Sirius rubbed his friend's back comfortingly. "It's okay Remy. It was dark times, we didn't know who to trust. Hell, I and James were so sure that it was you who had turned traitor." he laughed, a hollow sound. "I'm sorry moony. I shouldn't have doubted you either."

But unfortunately, Remus was too far gone in his emotional turmoil. "I think I killed Harry, Paddy." he cried brokenly. Finally voicing the fear that he had tried so hard to ignore.

Sirius pushed his old friend back to see his face. "Remy, you know I'm Harry's godfather. I would've known if he was dead."

Remus finally sobbed, this time in relief. "Thank the sister!"

But Sirius wasn't done, "why do you think you killed Harry, Moony?" So Remus told Sirius everything that had happened to him for the last fourteen years. When Remus was done Sirius frowned, "That doesn't make sense. Why would your potion suddenly fail?"

Remus shrugged, "figured that Severus wanted a bit of revenge."

Sirius shook his head. "That's not it, don't get me wrong he's a right vindictive bastard, but when he got us back he never endangered others while doing it." Remus reluctantly nodded in agreement. "And after I almost made him werewolf chow, I doubt he would mess with one's wolfsbane."

Remus frowned, "then what happened to the potion?"

Sirius shrugged, "I don't know moony, but we can figure that out later." They sat for a moment in silence, before Sirius spoke again. "I think you will agree I was always the most impulsive of us."

Remus nodded, not saying anything, letting his friend think through what he was trying to say.

"But I have to admit that there is one instance where I wish I had been more impulsive." He looked up at Remus, eyes full of sorrow. "Along with letting Harry go, I have been thinking about this over and over through the years, moony. So please don't say anything before I'm finished."

He took a deep breath, and slowly, ever so, took Remus's hand. "I love you, Remus Lupin. I have always loved you, ever since second year."

Remus was frozen, only able to say one word, "W-what?"

But Sirius stumbled over him with his now faster words. "It was in the library, I was trying to get you to stop studying and come with me and James to plan a prank on the older Ravenclaws, you remember the one where all their quills would write the wrong answer no matter how much the holder knew the material? Well, you looked so calm and… well smart, and I started having a crush on you. Then it grew and grew till I didn't know what to do. I tried asking James but he just burst out laughing, he thought it was all a big joke."

Remus cut off his love's rambles with a soft kiss on every corner of his mouth. Which still shocked Sirius into silence. "I love you too, Padfoot. But I won't pretend that I haven't changed a bit over the years."

Sirius smiled, "Me too, but would you like to at least try?"

Remus nodded, "I would like that." He pushed Sirius down on his bed. "That's enough excitement for one day, get some sleep."

Sirius caught Remus's hand as he was leaving, "stay with me?"

Remus's answer was instantaneous, "always."

...

"Guys!" Hermine yelled as soon as she slid down the pipe into the chamber. She jogged down the hall to their meeting place. When she got there she stopped to take in the scene of her friends and Harry's parents. Naruto was talking animatedly with the twins, writing down into a book, they were probably planning the year's pranks. Harry, who would normally help the twins and Naruto plan, was talking with Theo. The latter had a red tint to his checks. Harry patted Theo on his shoulder in a comforting manner. Hermione wasn't sure what was going on but figured if she was needed she would be told.

Nevile was talking with Luna and Tom. it seemed the poor Gryffindor was a bit lost. But the two intellectuals seemed to be getting really into the conversation. While knowing the blond they were probably talking about nargles, which Hermione has long since stopped arguing against. It was a peaceful moment, it made her smile. She loved them, she was so lucky to find such friends.

Then again she would probably never have gotten the chance if not for that troll in her first year, and in a way Ronald. Maybe she should thank him… now. He was a jerk then, and he's still one now. Theo noticed her standing in the doorway, smirking at her and waving her over. She walked over to the two boys. "What's going on?" she asked.

"I was telling Harry about what happened at the world cup." Hermione nodded.

"I saw what happened in the paper."

Harry nodded, "it's ridiculous what humans will do to each other over things they have no control over."

"It is a part of human nature, Harry."

"Well, it shouldn't! We should treat everyone with respect, we are all human at the end of the day."

"Are you okay Harry?" Hermione asked, concerned for her friend.

Harry looked over to Naruto, "I'm just tired of hearing of people hurting others. I'm worried, is it like this everywhere, or is there any hope for us to live without hurting others?"

Theo furrowed his eyebrows, "It's going to be okay Harry. In honesty, if you want to make a difference you and Hermione have a good bit of political power. Plus you have me and Nev, and the twins, we all could change it ourselves.' Harry took an intake of breath, he turned to Hermione, she already had her head in her hands thinking over the suggestion.

"He does have a point, Harry, instead of us just whining about it, we could do something about it."

Harry nodded, "can I trust you two to research for us?"

Hermione and Theo nodded. "We will work on that tomorrow but first I do want to talk to Naruto about something I've been thinking about for a while."

...

"Harry, my boy! After you disappeared we were all worried."

Harry shrugged, side-eyeing the man next to the headmaster. He recognized the man as Sirius Black, his godfather. "I was with my auntie and uncle headmaster. Like I have been since my parents died."

Dumbledore scowled, this boy was getting on his last nerve. He forced a grandfatherly smile and gestured to Black, "I do believe you have heard of Sirius."

Harry nodded, offering Sirius a grin. "Yeah, nice to meet ya.'' Sirius blinked in surprise, he'd been looking for his long-since-dead friends in this boy. But he didn't see anything. He may look like them, but the mannerisms are someone else. This would make sense seeing as he was raised by Lily's sister, but still. That grin felt too wide and full of trouble. James would almost smirk, and Lily would have a twitch of her lips but neither had that full-out grin. It was strange to see that expression on James's face.

And why did Harry look so much like James anyway? It fucking weird, but he returned the grin from his godson. Stepping forward for a hug, which crushed Harry.

Harry had been caught up in the thought that Sirius's grin looked like Naruto's, that he'd been unaware of the hug and unprepared.

Sirius took a step back, to look at his godson. "We have a lot to talk about."

Harry just nodded, Sirius was right about that, they did have a lot to talk about.

Sirius turned to the headmaster, "I'm going to go talk to my godson alone." Dumbledore nodded.

"I've notified all your teachers that you would not be in class today Harry. So take all the time you need."

Harry nodded, and he and Sirius walked out of the office. He was about to ask a question when Sirius shushed him. Whispering, "There are eyes and ears everywhere. Wait till I say we're in the clear."

Harry's godfather led him to the seventh floor, and In Front of a tapestry of dancing trolls. He watched the man pace in place. Suddenly there was a door, into which Harry was pulled. He looked around and found he was in a comfy sitting area. Sirius gestured to a chair in front of him, flopping down on one himself.

Harry sat nervously, he could handle Dumbledore but Sirius was an unknown. He wasn't sure what the man would do. He was broken out of thoughts by Sirius speaking.

"Patuna is feeding you well, right? You look as thin as a twig."

Harry blinked in surprise, he knew he looked skinny but in truth, he had forgotten about how he was supposed to be skinny and mostly sickly. The fact that Sirius asked, even if it was the minimum, touched him.

He nodded, "Auntie and I have eating competitions," he sighed sadly, "although I've never won."

Sirius snorted, "I'm sorry Harry, now I was wondering if you wanted to live with me, or at least visit me and Moony?"

Harry raised an eyebrow, "Professor Lupin?"

Sirius nodded, "Yeah he's living with me right now."

Harry suddenly grinned. it made Sirius nervous, "So…who asked who?"

Sirius choked, staring at Harry. "Harry!"

Harry shrugged, "I'm just asking."

Sirius shook his head bemused, "I don't think I'll tell you that information."

"Fuck! I'll lose the bet!"

"What bet?"

"My friends and I were betting that Remus was going to ask you out. Hermine is going to win, she said you wouldn't tell us!"

Sirius then sat thinking whether to answer the question. Then he remembered they got off topic, "So will you live with me?"

Harry nodded, "I'm happy with my aunt and uncle, but I wouldn't mind visiting. Besides, I do not want to get in the middle of the honeymoon."

Sirius sighed, ignoring the last comment. "Alright, but I'd like regular updates on your school life, and just you alright? I've just missed so much.'' Harry nodded, softening a bit. He felt a bit bad for acting like he was, but if he could get Sirius to stay off balance then it would be easier to leave before he started asking questions.

He got the sudden feeling that this would bite him in the arse.

Harry stared down at his feet wondering if it would be a good idea to ask about Sirius being his blood-adopted father, but decided against it. After all, they just met, and Sirius just got together with Remus; he didn't need Harry to add to it. After all, Sirius would ask how he knew. No, he would wait for a better time.

...

'In the beginning, the mother was looking into the void and made her two children: Vivus and Mors. Vivus set about making all life, but as life spread it became overabundant and so to keep balance Mors set about putting to rest his sister's creations. Some of the early humans went to Vivus to get her brother to stop, Vivus explained to them that in all things there must be balance. One of the humans attacked Vivus in anger, for they had lost their father not three days before that. Her brother instantly killed the human, protecting his sister.

After that, the brother and sister no longer lived among us, for the sisters' protection. Because of this, they could no longer do their jobs in the world, thus they went in search of handmaidens and their bodyguards.'

Harry put down the book, looking at the ceiling. It was certainly interesting. The other schools would be arriving the next day and he was excited to meet new people and learn with them. He grinned, so many new people to prank.

...

Harry and his friends were having a lovely time in classes where their lives are not in danger. They were enjoying the thought of watching someone else going through all the trouble that year. Of course, the teacher Mad Eye Moody pissed them all off for messing with Neville. The asshole had used the unforgivables in front of the boy, which turned the boy into a pale and shivering mess.

The jerk tried to talk to him after class but he herded the boy out the door glaring at the teacher as they went. The twins were as always waiting outside the door to guard Harry and the rest of their friends. They, like the rest, were up in arms over the injustice done to Neville. Between Harry going to Pomona, Theo going to Snape, and Hermione going to McGonagall, they made promises that there would be no more instances like the first and if there were they could leave.

Which came in handy, when they were able to leave the lesson that involved the madman imperio-ing students. That fact pissed off Naruto to the point that Tom had to hold her back from killing the man who dared to mess with her kits.

When the other schools came they were just as excited as the rest of the school. Although Hermione was mad afterward that one of the Durmstrang students, Krum would go to the library and a group of giggling girls would always follow him. This made it hard for Theo and her to research, but she did enjoy her time with Theo and it was always a treat when Neville would join them with smuggled cookies. She truly love-liked them. Yes, and she didn't like both of the boys that way.

Harry and the twins worked on the pranks they had planned for that year. It was going to be a fun, non-dangerous year.

At least Luna was able to have the conversation she was trying to make sense of the first day. She finally caught him in a secret passage.

He laughed a bit when she grabbed his arm out of nowhere startling him. "How is it you always find me?"

She smiled, "I can always feel you Harry, but I need to talk to you." he nodded, and led her through the passage, to the old classroom that he, Nev, and Hermine would use.

"I knew you wanted to talk, so I was trying to get along with you. Since I didn't think you wanted attention drawn, not even from our friends yet."

Luna nodded, "have you read the book that I gave you for your birthday?"

Harry nodded, "I have."

Luna hummed, "Would you believe me if I say it's real?"

Harry replied, "Well I figured. It matched up with what you said last year."

"Really?" Luna blinked.

"Yes really. What's the problem?"

"Well. I didn't think you would believe me right away."

He grinned, "I know you would never lie to me, Luna."

She felt warmth bloom in her chest, he believed her so easily. "I'm grateful to Harry for having you in my life."

He hugged her, one that she returned easily.

Things were not as easy with Naruto and Tom.

…..

Tom stared at the diadem, contemplating. All the other times he had destroyed the Horcruxes Naruto had been right there with him. That had helped him not back out, had helped him destroy that bit of his soul. Now though he was all alone, staring at what he had once hoped to be his saving Grace.

He turned around and started to walk out of the room of requirement as fast as he could. He thought of Harry, the boy he thought of as his son. His pride and joy. He never knew love when he was younger, but he was sure this was it or at least something like it.

And Naruto, his companion through the years. She was always there, helping him be a better person, even when he didn't want to be. He saw a flash of Naruto wearing the headdress, grinning, in a beautiful blue dress. What was she doing to him? He cared for her, but this feeling scared him. He didn't know what it was, and that scared him even more.

He cast a spell into the room and quickly shut the door. "Pestis Incendium," he hoped no one would open that particular door soon. He hummed, going down to the chamber, where he would wait for Naruto and Harry. They'll tell him all about who was chosen as a champion for Hogwarts.

...

"Potter, Harry." Dumbledore's voice cut through the silence in the hall. Students started whispering, Harry's friends looked at him in concern and Harry was in shock. The students started at Harry in a mixture of shock, confusion, and disgust.

Before anything happened, a puff of smoke was in front of Harry, and he saw Naruto looking at him with concern. Harry blinked in confusion. She looked like she was using a hedge to look older. "Harry, are you okay baby?" she asked.

Harry found his voice, "I didn't do it, Auntie, I swear."

Naruto smiled at him. "Of course, you didn't, if you had tried you would've been pranked so badly you'd never be able to look at a cup the same.'' Harry let out a relieved sigh, his aunt believed him.

"Excuse me my dear, but who are you and how are you here?"

Naruto turned to the old headmaster. The student body wasn't sure what to think, and the staff were better off. "I'm Naruto. Harry's Ka-san."

The headmaster furrowed his brow, "Ka-san?" The girl did look Asian, as the use of an honorific would suggest.

"His mom," she said evenly, ignoring the stairs of the hall, she'd been on the receiving end of worse. "The mother gave me Harry," she said confidently.

Dumbledore sighed, "If that's true then he would look like you."

"Harry," Naruto called quietly.

Harry brought his still-shaky hands together and took down his henge. The whole hall gapped at the sight of Harry with his mismatched eyes, and whiskered cheeks. Albus swallowed, Harry had a magic adopted mother? He silently curst the mother for throwing a bombarda into his plans. And the bitch never said how she had gotten there.

Naruto glared at the old man, "I'm not letting Harry compete."

"I'm sorry my dear, but I can't do anything. It is a magically binding contract."

Naruto bared her teeth, eyes flashing red, causing the old man to step back. "He's my kit, I will not let him be in danger because of you!" Albus was unable to say anything, still seeing those demonic eyes in his mind. She huffed, "I will fight in his place, databane."

She pushed past Albus into the room where the other champions had gone. The champions turned to her as she came in.

Flur was the first one to speak, "Are they sending you in to get us?"

Naruto snorted, but before she could say anything Albus fucking too many names Dumble-whore came striding in tugging Harry behind him. Naruto bared her teeth at the headmaster.

"What do you think you're doing manhandling my kit, I told you that I'm taking his place in the stupid competition."

Albus looked down at the smaller woman, "That is not possible, if you do so Harry will lose his magic."

Naruto growled, "he can't enter this competition, he's barely even chunin level! He'll be killed!"

Albus shook his head sadly, "I'm afraid it must be so my dear. "

"Fuck that! Dattebayo! I'm not letting my kit go into a competition where most of the contestants have died in the past. There is no way in hell."

"Albus," Madam Maxine said from where she had entered with Karkaroff, Madeye, and Snape. "If a child under age is chosen, then it is the right of the parent to step up in their child's place."

Naruto nodded, "then we'll do that!" She turned to the large woman giving her a grin and a thumbs up. "Thanks, lady."

Harry nodded, copying his mother's grin. "Yeah, you saved my ass ma'am"

Madame Maxine would not snort in the amusement, that was simply unladylike. But later she would have a good chuckle over the two's responses.

Naruto then turned to the headmaster again, "Now if that's all, I'll see you around." She then poofed into smoke and was gone.

Harry breathed a sigh of relief and gave the headmaster an unimpressed look. "If you excuse me, I'm going to tell my friends what happened. He bowed politely to the occupants of the room and then stormed out.

Everyone was surprised when they heard Madeye Moody bark laughter. "Well, whoever set this up is in for a nasty surprise when they learn their plan didn't work."

……

Tom growled. "He did what?!"

Naruto was sitting across from him, a scowl etched on her face. "Dumb-arse-door manhandled him, and tried to get him to compete in this death game."

Tom stood up and started to Walk to the door. "I'll kill him."

Naruto catches his hand, holding onto it. Keeping Tom in place. "I'm pissed too, Tom. But you can't kill him, not yet." Tom raised an eyebrow at Naruto.

"I thought you wouldn't want him dead." Naruto laughed, it was full of dark promises.

"You forget, I've been trained as a ninja since I was young. We must eventually kill, to protect our loved ones, and our village, the spirit of fire. And for you and Harry", her eyes flashed, "I would kill a thousand men if they dared hurt my kit."

"Then let me. I will get rid of him."

Naruto shook her head. "If we do that we will be like others who take their hate out on others."

"So?" Tom challenged, "It's not like they don't deserve it. Let them get hurt."

"But what if we're wrong? Or someone innocent gets hurt."

"There is no such thing as an innocent person. They have all done something deserving of pain."

Naruto narrowed her eyes, "so Hermione deserved a troll? Theodore deserved his parents' mental abuse? Neville with his Gran and his great uncle? What about Percy Weasley? Did he deserve to be killed by a fuckin basilisk?"

Tom was quick to try and back peddle. "No, I'm not saying that."

Naruto was not having it, she was too pissed. First with Fumbledore, now with Tom saying this bullshit.

"You're saying that Harry deserved everything that happened to him."

"No, I'm not Naruto."

Her eyes were bleeding purple, becoming more red by the second. "What about me Tom? Did I deserve to be hated???"

"No," he said with so much conviction it surprised even himself, "if there ever was an innocent person, it would be you Naruto Uzumaki. You are kind and look for the best in everyone. Even when they don't deserve it." His eyes never left hers. Naruto was calming down, her eyes back to their sky blue. "We will go with your plan. And I will double my efforts to find and destroy all the Horcruxes. Harry will be safe this year."

Naruto nodded her agreement. Satisfied that they agreed. Tom was gone by the next morning.

…..

Harry sat in a circle with his friends. Hermine was clapping her hands happily. "I'm so happy!" Harry grinned, apparently what Hermione wanted to talk to Naruto at the beginning of the school year had to do with her appliance. " I always thought it was strange that she never seemed to age, but then when Tom explained it to me I had even more questions. I thought, 'Why not change your mental image of yourself.' but of course that's easier said than done, but I just had to ask. I'm so proud of her!"

Theo snorted, "Of course, you thought of that, Hermine." he looked at her admiringly.

Nevil nodded his agreement. "Your brilliant."

The twins snort, making kissing motions and swooning motions. They made Harry and Luna giggle. Watching the genus and the two boys.

Harry brought the meeting back to what it was about in the first place. "Who do you guys think put my name in the goblet?"

"Voldemort." Hermione answered.

Theo nodded, "he does have a motive. Revenge? To kill you in the challenges?"

Harry looked to Luna, she did not meet his eyes. "Luna?"

"I am unable to say."

He nodded, deciding to trust his friend. "While Naruto deals with the competition. We will find the one who put my name in."
