Hello everyone, here is the next chapter! As things are going, the final battle of Edolas comes closing by, in the prevous chapters, our heroes took down the Golden Mjolnir.
We shall continue where we last left off, with some battles ending, and other beginning.
To answer some of the questions from the reviews, being who is gonna be the twentieth and final member of Natsu´s harem in this story, I wont reveal that until much later. But I have already decided who is gonna be the final girl of Natsu´s harem, which you will see.
I apologize with this chapter being shorter, but I want to make sure to update more often as I can, and still able to make sure good story at the same time.

Chapter 60: Saving Extalia and our Guild.
In the E-Zone, the defeated Golden Mjölnir gathered around their leader once their enemies had left the area.
"To think that we would lose here... what a dark day for the Golden Mjölnir..." Trevoa said in shame.
"And not only that, but I also lost my Helmets of Nature." Shebadus said. "At least you two kept both of your arms..." Antolt groaned, as he bit his bandage to close the wound where his left arm was. "With the Earthlanders defeating us, how we'll be able face Thorson-sama?" Shebadus said.
"Don't you worry about that..." A familiar, male voice was heard, causing the trio of Antolt, Shebadus and Trevoa turn around in shock to see who it was. As they recognized the voice, and didn't want it to be true, which was all proven to avail, as they saw their leader, Thorson standing before them. Around himself, was the Shadow Squad of the Edolas Kingdom.
Crossing his arms, and his eyes shadowed, the Golden Mjölnir, even if Antolt was suffering from pain after having his left hand cut off, went to knee before their leader.
"We are so sorry for our failure! We have no excuse for our current, shameful state! Please forgive us!" Antolt said, facing down the floor, as Shebadus and Trevoa was silent, looking down the floor as well, too ashamed to face their leader right now.
Taking a deep sigh, Thorson went to turn around and left the area, much to the confusion of the Golden Mjölnir, as they had expecting a punishment from him.
"Thorson-sama? Aren't you gonna punish us?" A confused Antolt said, with Thorson stopping in his tracks, but didn't turn to them.
"Don't get the wrong idea. I am mad and disappointed in you lot for failing. I normally punish or even kill those who kill fail me because of their weaknesses..." Thorson said, before finally turning to the Golden Mjölnir, watching them with stern eyes. "But we lost the Key, as they Earthlanders destroyed it. But before you get mad, one of them, is able to make an Ice Replica of the Key for them to use." Trevoa said.
"Well, it's a pain to not have the Key anymore, but at least there is somehing who can make them. With some force, I can sure things go to our favor." Thorson said, his eyes watching over the trio of his warriors.
"And since you are too valuable for me to kill, I shall spare you. But once this is all over, I shall grant you punishment, which won't be death, but something far worse." Thorson said and then turned to the large building.
"Have you killed Byro, Hughes and Sugarboy, and put their corpses where I instructed you?" Thorson asked. "Of course sir. They are within the building, and I managed to keep from harm for you display when we fought." Antolt said.
"I see. Then at least I can trust you to keep corpses in check." Thorson said, snapping his fingers as members of the Shadow Squad went to the building to retrieve what they were tasked to take.
"But as for now, I shall handle things from here. You stay here, while I shall finish my conquest for the throne and crown." Thorson said, as the Shadow Squad moved to make way for him, before some of them began to follow them, as others went to treat the fallen Golden Mjölnir´s injuries.
"That's all there is for you. And if you come after me, you will only be in the way. From now on, everyone who stand against me, will be killed." Thorson said, and the Golden Mjölnir stood there in silence, while the Shadow Squad tended their injuries. "Now what?" Shebadus said.
At the same time, within the halls of the royal castle, the others were running in the corridors.
Coco, who was riding on Lucy, went to break the silence.
"So, Ur-san can make an ice replica of the key to the Dragon Chain Cannon, how do you intend to come close to the Dragon Chain Cannon without being detected? Even I don't know what kind of security they have in there." Coco said.
"That's true, with it being such an important tool for their plans, Faust must have the tightened the security around. Who knows he will do if we arrive there without a plan?" Ur said.
"Then we need to come up with something, and that is fast!" Natsu said, and as they were about turn around to the next corridor, a familiar figure was before them, causing them all to widen their eyes.
"You are..." Natsu said, recognizing her.
At the same time, at the Lacrima Island...
Gajeel, who had transformed his arm into a large, sharp blade, clashed with his blade at Panther Lily´s Bustermarm sword, blocking his attack from harming the large, black Exceed.
Panther Lily´s expression was stoic while Gajeel´s face was that of a wide, crazy grin. Soon enough, they began to clash and slash with their swords in a rapid manner, the sounds of blades echoing began to be heard in the sky.
Soon as Gajeel was about to slash him right at the chest, Panther Lily jumped back, holding his Bustermarm high in the air, before rushing back at the Iron Dragon Slayer.
Gajeel transformed his other hands into a large club of iron, before slamming it onto the ground. The impact of it makes the ground beneath him to shake and crack, with the ground breaking its way towards Panther Lily.
He managed to grow his wings out as he flew up in the air, with the ground exploding beneath him.
At Panther Lily turned around, he saw that Gajeel had jumped towards him with his arm in its sword form, preparing to attack him.
But Panther then pointed the blade of his Bustermarm at Gajeel, extending it as shot towards him like a cannon.
Gajeel grunted and had his other arm turn into a large, circular shield to protect himself from the attack, and once the gigantic blade struck the shield, it pushed Gajeel back as he was shoved back to the ground.
Although his shield protected him from the blade coming at him, it still started to make cracks to spread around it. Gajeel then jumped upwards, with his shield still connected to the blade, albeit it made the blade go beneath the black-haired wizard, as it plumed to the ground.
Gajeel then had his leg turned into a club of iron, before it then extended towards him, who shrunk his blade and jumped at the side before Gajeel´s attack could hit him.
Gajeel was one ground again, as he then took a deep breath, his chest swelling up and his cheeks growing like balloons, before sending a powerful stream of wind, containing iron shards, at the large Exceeds.
Using the immense size of the blade, Panther Lily stabbed it on the ground, to then use the blade´s size as shield to protect himself from the blast.
The attack managed to push Lily back, with the shards striking him on random places, but then Gajeel took the chance to then appear at his side, and kicked him a powerful Iron Club, striking him at his waist!
Panther Lily was sent away at good distance, but managed to land on ground soon enough.
Panther Lily watched with a glare at the grinning Gajeel.
"Well, aren't you a tough one? But there's something that bothers me." Gajeel said. "And that is?" Panther Lily asked. "You seem really fine at destroying your own homeland, and even exterminating your species. You really seem to have nothing against that." Gajeel said.
Panther Lily´s eyes were shadowed as he remembered his past, back when he saved a blue haired, injured boy from death, and due to the Royal Council of Extalia refusing to take care of him, he left his homeland to take care of the boy, eventually joining the Edolas Royal Army, and becoming one of the Captains.
"As if see a place where they even abandons children because of they are of a different origin or species, as my homeland!" Panther Lily said, jumping towards Gajeel, with his Bustermarm, swinging it at him.
As he swung his sword, it grew as it was on its way to Gajeel, and as it struck him, a shockwave was emitted, and a moment of silent was around him.
Before long, multiple cracks started to spread on the large blade, and burst into thousands of pieces, much to Panther Lily´s shock.
Gajeel was once again grinning, as his fist was now that of metal.
"Gihihihi, that settles it." Gajeel said, and Panther Lily was snapped out of his shock. "Settles what?" Panther Lily said. "After I win this fight, I shall make you my cat!" Gajeel declared, and Panther Lily pulled back his fists.
"Then show me what you got! Even if you broke my sword, I am far from finishing you!" Panther Lily said, as then he and Gajeel engaged in a fist fight. "That's the spirit! Show me the reason you are the cat I choose to have!" Gajeel said.
Meanwhile, in a different part of the Royal Castle, where Thorson stood before something large.
Before him, was a large, gold-colored gate, round in form, with its outer surroundings having cylindrical extensions, similar to that of pipes, connected to the walls. On the door, with a diamond shaped emblem, having a square, hollow imprint with its center, signifying it was Key Hole for something special.
But was special wasn't the gate, but what it was gonna contain beneath it.
"Today, is the day when the old geezer can kick his throne goodbye. Long enough, I have served under his weak, wrinkly old ass, but now, your time is up, Faust." Thorson said, as then Flakes entered the room.
"For your sake, it better be something good. After all, this is a moment I have waited for ages to come." Thorson said, not turning to Flakes. "Do not worry, Sir. I have good news. Faust is currently within the Chamber of the Dragon Chain Cannon, where he is currently awaiting for the Key." Flakes explained.
"I see. So, the Geezer doenst know about the Key being destroyed." Thorson said. "Yes, but they don't seem to know that one of them can make an Ice Replica of the Key." Flakes said.
"Thats good to hear." Thorson said, and then took his Blitz hammer, and placed within the square hole, and then began to twist and turn it.
Gears and cracking sounds began to be heard, as the gate spun around in a circle, with its pipes opening, steam coming out of them.
After a moment, the pair of gates opened, with steam coming out of the pair of doors, which died down and showed both Thorson and Flakes what was inside of it.
While Flakes remained stoic, Thorson grinned at what he was currently seeing. As he walked towards the object within the vault.
"With the lack of sounds of rejecting me of putting this on, I can guess that this have been tested and modified more than enough." Thorson said. "Yes, as due to this day was coming, the researchers made sure to workday and night, for them to be in its completed state." Flakes said.
"They better have done that, and not have been screwing it up. Because if they did, I´ll kill them." Thorson said. "Not before I kill that old fart of course." Thorson said.
In a different part of the Royal Castle...
"What do you mean Byro hasn't been heard of yet?!" Faust yelled, as he stood in a large room, where many Edolas soldiers were present.
At the center of the room, where a pair of large statues, each resembling Faust's face with an angel wing on each side, with its center having a large structure seemingly connecting to several, long cubes to it, with insignia over its key hole.
"Apologizes your Majesty, but from the reports, neither Byro-san have even been seen since he began chasing Coco. The same with Captain Hughes and Captain Sugarboy, as they haven't been heard either taking down the Earthlanders..." The soldier said, but was cut off loudly by Faust.
"FORGET ABOUT SUGARBOY AND HUGHES! ALL I WANT IS TO HAVE THE KEY TO THE DRAGON CHAIN CANNON, THIS INSTANT!" Faust roared in rage, slamming the tip of his staff onto the floor.
And then suddenly, a familiar voice was heard across the room, taking the attention of Faust and the soldiers in the room.
Entering the room, where Knightwalker, walking in with Natsu, Lucy, Yukino, Layla, Ur, Coco, were all tied up in chains, with Happy and Gil missing, leading them in front of Faust and throwing them to the ground.
"Here you have them, your Majesty, the enemies have been taken care of." Knightwalker said.
"I can see that." Faust said, whose expression was calmer.
"I heard among the enemies that there were a pair of Exceeds, both fallen. Where are they?" The old king asked. "I apologize, your Majesty, but they managed to escape before I could capture them." Knightwalker said.
"No matter. With most of them taken to our custody, have managed to gain the upper hand over them." Faust said, and then walked towards Coco, but didn't see what he was looking after. "Where is the key, Coco?" Faust said, growing impatient, as he then grabbed her neck and lifted her to the ground. "Where is the Key?! Don't tell me you lost the key, you damn brat!" Faust said, gripping her tighter, even shaking her as he wanted the answer out of her.
"Hey, you better not do anymore harm or I..." Natsu said, but was cut off as Knightwalker had blade in her hand before him. "As I bring you sad news, the key was destroyed by the Earthlanders." Knightwalker said, still having her stoic and calm expression.
Faust, his eyes shadowed, dropped Coco like a rag doll, making her fall down the ground in pain.
"Coco. You had one job. One job and you failed it..." Faust said, and then began to kick Coco in the chest.
"Coco!" Lucy, Layla and Yukino screamed, as Faust continued to kick her. "YOU DUMB GIRL! IF YOU HANDLED YOUR TASK EASIER, THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED TO YOU! DO YOU REALIZE YOU HAVE NOW RUINED THE FUTURE OF EDOLAS, YOU STUPID BRAT!" The king shouted, containing to kick Coco in the chest.
"Stop! She´s bleeding!" Lucy said, as blood came out of Coco´s mouth. "So what if you care your enemy bleeds, now that she had failed in her task, and your task have now turned into your favor!" Faust said.
"But there is still a way." Knightwalker said, grabbed Ur by the shoulder and shoving her towards Faust, as Ur was before his feet.
"This woman can make ice replicas of the key, and even if it's made of ice, it still can make the Dragon Chain Cannon to its purpose." Knightwalker said.
"That's good to hear. Finally, some good news." Faust said, and with a gesture, several of the Edolas soldiers then pointed their spears at Lucy, Layla, Yukino, Natsu, Happy and Gil. "Woman. Use your Magic to create a key and use it to activate the Dragon Chain Cannon." Faust said, as the guards then pointed all their spears at the group of Ur´s allies. "Or your allies can have their last breath here because of you. Your call." Faust said.
Biting her lips, Ur turned to the group that were currently in capture, before then then walked towards the Dragon Chain Cannon, as she then used her Ice-Make to make a replica of ice of the Key to the Giant Cannon.
With the replica to the Cannon in her hands, Ur walked before the Keyhole of the Cannon, preparing to insert it, when suddenly:
"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!" A loud voice was heard, causing everyone in the area, being the King, the Edolas Captain, the soldiers, the Earthlanders and The Exceeds look up and had their eyes widening of who they were seeing.
Knightwalker, in her black bras, panties and loincloth, came into the scene with her Ten Commandments Spear, coming right at `Knightwalker.´
`Knightwalker´ grit her teeth her sword was clashed with Knightwalker´s spear, forcing her to jump back as Erza then used her Magic to transform back into her Heart Kruz Armor.
"What?! That was an imposter?!" Faust shouted in shock, and before the soldiers around Natsu and the others could react, the pink-haired Dragon Slayer then proceeded to send a spin kick to their faces, sending them away.
"Damn, to think that the plan would backfire." Natsu said, breaking off his chains, since they were normal chains and not Anti Magic Chains, as the soldiers were sent away. Natsu then turned to Lucy, Yukino, and Layla, using his immense strength to break free from their chains. Once they were free, the trio of female Celestial Spirit wizards took a stand alongside him, as more soldiers surrounding them.
Since all their chains were normal, Mira had no problem to transform into her Take Over: Satan Soul, not only breaking free, but also sending the soldiers around her.
Erza, who kept Knightwalker at bay, turned to Ur, while trying not to lose focus.
"UR! You go and activate the Dragon Chain Cannon! Use it to return our friends back to normal, without causing the destruction of the Exceeds! We´re counting on you!" Erza said, with Ur nodding in response.
"Not on my watch!" Knightwalker said, pushing further with her spear, while Ur went running towards the giant Cannon, making a ice replica of its Key.
"DONT LET THAT WOMAN NEAR THAT CANNON AT ANY COST! STOP HER EVEN IF IT MEANS IGNORING THE OTHER EARTHLANDERS!" Faust shouted, as the soldiers were fighting Natsu, Lucy, Yukino, and Layla, left them as they went after Ur.
"Oh no you won't!" Natsu said, grabbing one soldier behind his neck, before throwing him towards a group of Soldiers, having him crash at them like a bowling ball to bowling pins.
As Ur now stood right before the keyhole of the Dragon Chain Cannon, and took the Ice Replica of ice, preparing to insert it.
With hope on the faces of Natsu, Lucy, Layla, Yukino, Mira, while frustration and anger were on Faust's face. And once the large ice key was inserted in its keyhole, a sudden figure came right at her and kicked her in the chest, not only causing an intense amount of pain, but also sent her to the wall, leaving cracks of the wall around her.
"UR!" Natsu shouted, as they others watched at first on the wall where she was sent at, before then looking at the one who kicked her.
In the spot where Ur once stood, was a man everyone within the room was familiar with.
Wearing a new attire attached to his armor, Thorson looked around the scene before him, at the Earthlanders, Exceeds, the Soldiers, at Knightwalker and finally, at Faust himself.
Thorson was now wearing several pieces of golden armor on his regular armor, being in the form of golden gauntlets reaching to elbows, boots, grieves, cuissess of gold as well, a chest plate with a large, red sphere in the middle and shoulder pads, as well dragon wings on the chestplate, grieves and bracers, Faust, Knightwalker and some soldiers recognized the armor, but now only for its golden appearance, but also its outlines formed into dragon scales.
As Natsu took the down Edolas soldiers blocking his way, with Lucy, Yukino and Layla following him, going towards Ur.
Knightwalker, had her eyes on the armor pieces that Thorson was currently wearing, but still kept her focus on fighting her Earthland counterpart.
"That is... the Hermod Armor." Knightwalker said. "The Hermod Armor?" Erza said. "But wasn't that a failure? If so, how is Thorson able to use it right now?" Knightwalker said. "What is kind of armor is that?" Erza asked, with Knightwalker turning to her with a glare. "I don't need to explain anything to you!" Knightwalker said, pushing with her spear at Erza´s sword, making Erza jump away in as a reflex.
Thorson turned to the ice key, which was still in the keyhole, as Faust was the next one to speak.
"Well done, Thorson. You truly did a great job. If you had been even a second late. I thank you so much for that." Faust said.
"Now, do the honor, and activate the Dragon Chain Cannon..."Faust said, but Thorson, still not facing him, suddenly cut the old king off.
"Shut your mouth, you old bastard." Thorson said, much to the confusion and surprise of the both the king, the soldiers and even Knightwalker.
"As if I am gonna take any more orders from some weak old man like you." Thorson said, finally turning towards him, with a dark look on his eyes.
"Are you a fool?! Do you have any ideas who´re you're speaking to?!" Faust said, as then the soldiers around him began point their spears at the Faust, further the shock of him.
"What?!" Faust said in shock, and then the soldiers were suddenly pointing their weapons to each others, preventing them from coming to the King´s aid.
"What are you doing? You can do that to the King?!" A soldier said, with the other soldiers simply grinning. "If a weak guy like Faust can be ´King´, then we can do this." The soldier said grinning, with the soldiers pointing their weapon at Faust grinned as well.
"You heard Captain Thorson. You better keep your mouth shut, Old man!" A soldier said. "Have you lost your mind?! Do you know the consequences of this act?!" Faust said.
"Look here, Faust. For years, I have been working under your shadow, dealing with your shit every day, while you sit your wrinkly old ass on that throne, the throne that should be me!" Thorson said.
"You bastard, how long have you been planning this?!" Faust said.
"Until this day, have been waiting for a chance to take you down, and take what is rightfully mine!" Thorson said,
"Thorson! Do you have any idea of what you´re doing?! Your punishment will be worse than you ever can imagine for this!" Knightwalker shouted.
"As if you are gonna punish me, since I am gonna take be the one to make the punishments here." Thorson said, as then the gates of the room opened, and in came in Flakes with the Shadow Squad coming behind.
"Lieutenant Flakes?! What is the meaning of this?!" Faust said, as Flakes and the Shadow Squad went in, three of them carried a red bag each.
"That's my Edolas counterpart?" Yukino thought, as she saw her counterpart standing before Thorson, Knightwalker and Faust.
"As promised, we have brought the things you have been tasked for." Flakes said, as three Shadow Squad members, unrolled the sacks, showing the corpses of Byro, Sugaryboy and Hughes.
Faust, Knightwalker and the soldiers who didn't betray Faust, were widening as response of what the dead bodies that were before them.
On the floor, laid Byro's headless body, with his head laying blow them, as well as Sugarboy´s headless body, as burn marks was on where his neck once away, and Hughes, laid with his head slice into pieces, and missing his arm.
"As you can see, my Golden Mjölnir killed these worthless excuses for fighters." Thorson said, turning to Natsu, Lucy and Yukino, who were currently surrounding Ur, after being struck by Thorson.
"I had my Golden Mjölnir ask them to join me, since we had a common enemy, but sadly, they rejected it. Not that it matters of course." Thorson said.
"We took down your Golden Mjölnir, and we will do the same to you." Natsu said, anger in his voice as glared intensely with his eyes at Thorson, and at the same time, tried to keep his composure in check.
"Oh please, you and that chick were barely able to keep up with me earlier. What makes you think you can take down me now?" Thorson said. "Just you wait and see!" Natsu shouted.
Thorson ignored him, as he then turned to Faust. "If you think I am gonna kill you right now, don't you worry about that." Thorson said. "What?" A shocked Faust said, and Thorson went to speak further.
"Don't you get it? I am not gonna kill you. Not yet of course. Because now, I am gonna take everything you have, forcing you watch as I take everything from you, as you can do nothing to stop me. I shall humiliate you to your fullest, the citizens will see a true king, and you as a weakling who cannot even lift a finger to do something for their people." Thorson said, as Faust then fell down on his knees, as the soldiers that betrayed the old king still had their weapons pointed at him.
"And then I'll kill you, I am gonna execute you before my new subjects, as an end of the old king and beginning of the new one." Thorson said, grabbing the ice key and began to twirl, activating the giant Cannon, much to the Earthlanders and the Exceeds horror.
As its Dragon-shaped head, connected to a chain, shoot up in the air, and soon enough, it connected to the Lacrima Island.
As the Dragon Chain connected to the Lacrima Island, the shock echoed across it, as the two fighters on the Island could feel it.
"What was that?!" Gajeel said, as the island then began to move, much to the delight of Panther Lily, a grin appeared on his face.
"It seems that the Dragon Chain Cannon now has fired and connected to this Island of Lacrima." Panther Lily said.
Gajeel grit his teeth in annoyance. "To think that these guys would screw this up." Gajeel thought, before he then began to run towards to edge of the Island, much to the shock of Panther Lily. "Hold it, where are you going?!" Panther Lily shouted. "But I cannot back off right now. My friends need me right now." Gajeel thought, when he was at the edge, he turned to Panther Lily. "Don't you think that this fight is over, cat. Before the end of this day, I am gonna make you my cat." Gajeel said grinning, before he then jumped off, much to the shock to Panther Lily. However, he was soon forced sprout out his wings as he flied into the air; due to the island beneath begin to move.
As Panther Lily, he was shocked again to see Gajeel being carried in the air by none other than a certain blue cat, with a brown furred cat flying beside it.
Through the air, Happy carried Gajeel as both he and Gil were flying through the sky, towards a area.
"Really, Gajeel. You´re lucky that we were passing by." Happy said. "Hey, I didn't know you were here either. I was hoping when I fell down, I would turn my entire body into iron, to protect myself from the fall." Gajeel said, making Happy and Gil sweat drop.
"There is a difference between instinct and stupidity. What you did there, you crossed beyond that line of stupidity." Gil said. "Hey, I did fall off cliffs and towers a lot in the past, although none being as high as this one." Gajeel said, before then putting his hand on chin. "Although none were tall as the height I was hopping off from." Gajeel said.
"Can we focus what we need to focus on right now?" Happy said, turning to the giant Lacrima Island that was moving towards Extalia.
"Our original we came up with when we encountered Erza earlier, we planned that me and Gil were going to Extalia to meet up with Wendy and Carla, while the others were trying to get close to the Dragon Chain Cannon." Happy said, remembering what they had planned earlier.
"Yeah, as they would use the Cannon to free their allies, without killing the Exceeds." Gil said, turning to the large, moving Lacrima Island. "But judging from this, it seems that they failed." Gil said in a dark tone.
"But you won't turn that down on that, aren't you?" Happy asked, and Gil grinned. "Of course! Even if I am exiled, I am not gonna abandon my people! After all, its where I was born from." Gil said.
Gajeel grinned. "Gihihi, then we should make a move then. I cannot face my new cat if I cannot even save his country." Gajeel said. "A new cat?" Gil asked confused. "I explain later. We need to make a move, and that's now!" Gajeel said, and the two Exceeds agreed as they nodded and flied at max speed at where Extalia was.
At the same time, back at the chamber of the Dragon Chain Cannon, Thorson smiled in triumph as things were going according to his plans.
"With Edolas gaining infinite Magic Power, all thanks to me, I shall be the hero and the king Edolas needs, and not some old fart!" Thorson said, as he then began to float in the air.
"You won't get away with this!" Faust said, as he was hold by the soldiers who betrayed him.
"Oh trust me, before the end of this day, I will get more than you can ever see. As I save the kingdom from its lack of Magic Power, and see how weak you truly are, as the people will be overjoyed to see you executed, due to how horribly you have treated you have treated the people over the years." Thorson said, flying up to the air.
"Now if you excuse me, I have a country to announce its new king, and after that, an execution!" Thorson said as he flied up into the air.
"Shit, we need to do something and fast!" Natsu said. "We need to head towards Extalia and that's fast!" Lucy said, before suddenly, a group of the Shadow Squad were surrounding them. "Don't worry, I am already on that!" Mira said, as she sprouted her wings, as she then flied to air. "Alright, we shall make sure to catch up to you!" Natsu said.
"I know where we keep Legions; we can use them to fly to Extalia if we hurry." Coco said. "Then let's go!" Natsu said, as while Mira flied in the air at a great speed, Natsu and the others were to run.
"I am afraid I cannot let you do that." Flakes said, as the Edolas Counterpart of Yukino, stood before the forces of the Shadow Squad.
"To think that my Edolas counterpart would be one of the enemies." Yukino said, as the charging Shadow Squad Members all went to charge at the group, carrying weapons like swords, axes, scythes and clubs.
But as the group of cloaked warriors were to fight, they were easily taken down by the efforts of Natsu, Mira and Ur.
Natsu went to kick a large, hooded man who used a large axe to strike him with it, only for him to be punched in the face.
Ur frooze several hooded attacks, before then jumping into the air, and made a bow of ice, sending several ice arrows at them.
Coco, stood behind Lucy and Layla. Lucy had summoned Taurus, had the large bull swing his axe to take the enemies that came before them. Layla used her Aile Cu Diel sword to slash the incoming forcing coming at her, striking down a trio of hooded figures, who were all wielding scythes as their weapons.
As they were taking down, Flakes took a deep breath before then raised her hand in the air, stopping the Shadow Squad in their tracks.
"That's enough. As it currently stands, they are no match for you." Flakes said, as she stepped forward. "Meaning I shall be the one to handle you." Flakes said. "Natsu-sama. You and the others go ahead. I´ll handle her." Yukino said. "Then I shall go with you as well. As a Celestial Spirit wizard, I cannot let you fight alone." Lucy said, stepping forward, as Layla stepped in as well. "That´s spirit, Lucy. You truly show yourself to be my daughter." Layla said, joining her daughter in fighting alongside Yukino.
"You seem to underestimate me." Flakes said, as then Natsu and Ur, who carried Coco, jumped over the hordes of soldiers that tried to desperately catch and stop them, only for it to lead to failure.
They landed on the ground and ran, Natsu turned a quick turn to Lucy, Layla and Yukino. "We´re counting on you! Make sure to not lose this one!" Natsu said, before he and Ur continued to run.
Flakes, despite the enemies escaping, managed to remain a calm and stoic expression.
"You really are calm, despite enemies escaping you." Lucy said. "Trust me, whatever they do, your friends won't succeed and it will only go to Captain Thorson´s favor." Flakes, as she took off the glove off one of her hands. "Let's see about that." Lucy said, as she, Yukino and Layla took out their keys.
While the trio of Celestial Spirit wizards took out their keys, Flakes had her hand she had taken the glove off, showing that on her ring finger, was a silver ring in the form of a six pointed snowflake, having a small, blue sphere within its middle.
"The moment you looked down on me, shows that the losers of this fight will be you." Flakes said, as she enveloped in a blue aura.
At the same time, Knightwalker was furious, not only that her counterpart had humiliated her, but also that Thorson had betrayed the kingdom under her watch.
"Damn you, Thorson!" Knightwalker said in rage, slamming her fist on the ground, and then turned head around, seeing that Erza suddenly running away from the battle, cutting down every soldier that came to stop her, whatever it was those that were still loyal to Faust, or those who had betrayed Faust.
"Where are you going, Scarlet?!" Knightwalker said, with Erza turning to her while she was running. "Right now, my friends and Extalia are in grave danger, and if I stand here doing nothing, they will perish!" Erza said as she continued to run while taking down soldiers that came in her way.
"Dammit, come back here and fight, you coward!" Knightwalker said, as she was about to chase after her, but suddenly stopped as he heard a soldier's voice.
"Hold it right there, Knightwalker!" The soldier said, as he holds a blade a Faust´s neck, with the other soldiers surrounding the king.
"If you care about this old fart, you better do as we tell you, or his old fart will face have his last breath." The soldier said, much to the anger of Knightwalker.
"You really are that low to betray your own king and country?" Knightwalker said. "Oh please. We grow tired of serving under this old asshole, and under you, who does nothing but folllow under his order..." The Soldier said, but before he could finish his sentence, Knightwalker went at great speed, striking him with her spear, knocking him unconscious in one shot, and took down the other soldiers with her spear.
Her expression remaking stoic, she saw other soldiers who had turned against the Kingdom, with their weapons aiming at Knightwalker, who was behind the king.
"You either stay where you are and surrender peacefully, before going to the dungeons, or come at me, and make it your last breath." Knightwalker said, as menacing aura rising from her.
The soldiers around her began to shake, before they all dropped their weapons, as the soldiers that were still loyal to the kingdom lead by Faust, came and held them in place.
"It's no use, Faust. Thorson will succeed in his plan, and all you can do, is watch, like you have always done..." A soldier said, before then Faust blasted his head off with his staff, as the soldier who held him panicked as he saw the headless, smoking corpse fall on the ground.
"Take your own king lightly will you..." Faust said in a dark, low tone. "Your majesty, I will make sure the Earthlanders and Thorson will pay for their actions." Knightwalker says
"Leave Thorson and the Earthlanders to me. I will handle them personally." Faust said with his eyes shadowed. "What? But sir, are you gonna take them on all by yourself...?" Knightwalker said, before Faust screamed in rage.
"ARE YOU CALLING ME WEAK?!" Faust shouted, his eyes bloodshot and veins appeared around his face, making Knightwalker, and the soldiers jump back a bit. "No sir. Not at all." Knightwalker said, and Faust then turned to the soldiers.
"Unlock the Dorma Armin!" Faust ordered, much to the horror of the soldiers, and even Knightwalker gulped at that, but managed to remain her calm posture.
"But sir, that is forbidden to use under the 23rd Article Imperial Constitution..." A soldier said, before his head blasted off from another blast from Faust staff.
"THAT IS AN ORDER!" Faust screamed, before then looking darkly at them. "Or are you betraying me too? Are you perhaps the conspiracy of Thorson as well?" Faust said, turning to Knightwalker. "Are you gonna betray me too, Captain Knightwalker?" Faust asked.
Without words, Knightwalker took out a knife, making the soldiers gasp at was she was about to do, which then she cut her hair off, with her red hair now reaching to her neck.
"I rather die than betraying you, my King." Knightwalker said, before pointing to the air.
"The rest of you should do as the king says! Or else you are to be executed by my hands here and now!" Knightwalker said, and without saying any words, the soldiers did as they were told.
"Knightwalker, I hope you are able to figure out a way to fix this mess." Faust said. "Yes my king, before this day is over, I will make sure both Thorson and the Earthlanders, will pay for their crimes, with their lives." Knightwalker said, and turned to the sky. "And you, Scarlet, will pay for making a fool of me." Knightwalker said, and then noticed her current attire, making her blush a bit in embarrassment.
"And bring me new attire this instant!" Knightwalker said.
At the same time, in the sky, Carla stood with determined eyes, at the Lacrima Island, moved by the Dragon Chain Cannon, went straight towards her home.
Carla put her paws before herself, while the giant Lacrima came before her, and pushed with all her might! Carla grits her teeth, as she began to be pulled back more and more.
"I won't be taken down that easily! No matter what, the pain I am feeling right now, is nothing compared to the loss of my friends and my people!" Carla thought, pushing before then Wendy, being carried by Nadi, came and pushed the rock as well alongside Carla.
"Wendy? What are you doing?!" Carla shouted. "Don't be silly, Carla! As your friend, I cannot live by myself if your people and my guild were to end today!" Wendy said, turning to the large Lacrima she was pushing. "So let's do this together, Carla!" Wendy said, which Carla responded with a smile.
"And don't forget about me! I am not gonna let my people meet their end to today!" Nadi said, as he flied further to increase the pressure of Wendy pushing.
"And don't forget about us!" A voice said, as a horde of Exceeds came to the aid, with Queen Shagotte herself being carried by two of her servants due to her having only one wing.
"The Queen?!" Carla said in shock, as the Queen and the Exceeds came to aid Wendy and Carla in stopping the Lacrima Island from crashing.
"As much you are confused of my actions, one thing is certain is that I won't let my species end with having innocent people involved." Shagotte said, as she pushed the Lacrima along with the hundreds of Exceeds to save their homeland.
"See this at least as my redemption for what my country and I have done to you." Shagotte said, as she and the others Exceeds continued in their attempts of stopping the giant Lacrima from crashing.
"And don't forget about us!" Lucky said, as he and his wife Marl aided as well. "Lucky-san, Marl-san?" Carla said, watching the Exceed couple before them, which Shagotte reconised as well. "You two are..." Shagotte said, remembering the Exceed couple that refused in the 100 Egg Evacuation mission years ago.
"We can talk later; because I am not gonna have these barbarians destroy our home!" Lucky said. "And the future of our race won't end because of the past!" Marl said, as Shagotte smiled at they put the differences aside to save their countries.
Carla couldn't help but to smile as well, as she, Wendy, and the other Exceeds were continuing to push the giant Lacrima away.
At the same time, Panther Lily, watched with wide eyes, as she saw the hundreds of the Exceeds, help Wendy and Carla, not believing his eyes.
"They´re... saving their country...? The same country that abandoned an injured child because he was human? There is no way..." Panther Lily thought, his eyes shadowed.
"Have they actually changed... if so, it's very hard to believe." Panther Lily thought, but then saw something that made him even more shocked.
The Lacrima began to push against Carla, Wendy and the others Exceeds, forcing them back and struggling to keep the Lacrima Island away.
However, suddenly the Giant Lacrima was pushed back, causing Wendy and Carla to turn to see who it was.
With a grin on his face, Gajeel, who was carried by Happy, pushed against the giant Lacrima.
"Gajeel-san?!" Wendy said in shock. "Gihi, don't expect me not to be part of this game. I am not letting Void Knight get ahead of me." Gajeel said. "And I am not letting them kill my people, or my friends!" Happy said. "And don't forget about me!" Gil said, as he pushing the Giant Lacrima along with the others.
"Gil?!" Carla said. "I thought you were exiled!" Nadi said. "I was, but that doesn't prevent me from saving my race and homeland!" Gil said, pushing further.
"And don't forget about us either!" A familiar voice was heard, causing Wendy, Carla, Gajeel, Happy and Gil to turn to see Legion coming towards them, but was surprised was the ones on them.
On them, were Natsu and Ur, accompanied by Coco, as the Legion that carried them smashed onto the giant Lacrima, before Natsu, Ur and even Coco began to push.
"Natsu-san? Ur-san?!" Wendy said, as she didn't recognize Coco, while Gajeel grinned. "I know you wouldn't let me have this alone, Void Knight." Gajeel said.
"You bet your ass I am!" Natsu said; as Ur and Coco went on to push the Giant Lacrima away.
At the same time, Panther Lily watched with shocked eyes seeing that Coco were helping them as well. "COCO?! What are you doing?! Do you wanna get yourself killed?!" Panther Lily shouted, as he couldn't believe even humans wanted to save the Exceeds.
Panther Lily then looked down, as so many thoughts were going at his mind.
"I thought the humans wouldn't repay us, even if I saved a child. But now, the humans, not out of fear, but out of kindness and determination, are now helping us?" Panther Lily said.
"Can even things like that change?" Panther Lily thought, as he then saw two more figures flying the area and to the aid.
"Sorry that we are late." Erza said, in her Black Wing Armor, as she and Mira in her Take Over: Satan Soul joined in the fray.
"I hope our late arrival didn't cause anything." Mira said, which Natsu smiled. "Not at all. But less talking, and more moving into action. We need to stop this giant Lacrima at all costs!" Natsu said, as Mira and Erza agreed on, before joining in to aid them in stopping the Giant Lacrima, as Erza and Mira pushed the Giant Lacrima along with others.
With Natsu, Wendy, Ur, Coco, Happy, Carla, Nadi, Gil, Gajeel, Erza, Mira and every Exceed aiding them in them their intense attempt on saving Extalia, the Exceeds and their friends.
As they all pushed with all their might, screaming at the top of their lungs, they didn't show any hesitation on saving their loved ones.
And then suddenly, the giant Lacrima disappeared in a flash, with white sparks appearing.
The horde of Earthlanders and Exceeds were silent in shock as they saw the giant Lacrima had dissapeared.
"What...? What happened...?" Natsu said stunned. "Did we stop it?" Mira said. "Then, have we saved Extalia?" Happy said. "But if so, what about of our friends...?" Wendy said, before a loud, familiar voice was heard.
"DO NOT WORRY EVERYONE, YOUR FRIENDS ARE SAVED!" The loud voice said, causing Natsu, Mira, Erza, Ur, Wendy, Carla, Happy and the other Exceeds to turn to the sky, and had their eyes widened at they were seeing.
Panther Lily had his eyes widened, as he didn't expect to see that man today.
"Because thanks to the Anima, I have managed to both save the Exceeds and Extalia, and the Fairy Tail Guild." Mystogan said, as he was in the air, flying on his large, white Legion.
"I am glad everything managed to work out fine." Mystogan said with a smile.
And that concludes this chapter, man this became longer than I expected.
With things like Thorson announcing to Faust that he plans to take him down, offically cutting his ties to the King to take his place as Ruler of Edolas. But we also saw that our heroes managed to save both their Exceeds and their friends.
The next chapter will begin the final fights for Edolas, and sorry if you thought that this were the chapter it was gonna story. I had so much to do in real life, so I hope you can understand.
In case you wonder for Thorson´s Hermod Armor, "Hermod" is the name for the Messenger of the Gods in Norse Mythology, kinda like Hermes of Greek Mythology, hence to the armors ability to make user be able to float and fly.
