I didn't thought it would already come to this. But I guess in this chapter James and Lily will stop being single.

Chapter Twelve: A couple
James tried to see something in Lilys eyes, but if she truly gave him a sign a moment ago she played cool now again and freed herself of his arms.
"It was nice being with you here, but I think we should go back now! It's getting late and tomorrow are normal classes!"
He nodded and thought…
I have to ask her now or at some point later.
Lily was just about to turn away of him when he finally did it.
"Lily, I have a question… Can I ask you something?"
She stopped in her movement and hesitated a moment. But after a few seconds she nodded and turned herself back to him.
"Okay James… Ask me!"
He got now very very nervous. It seemed like she had an idea what might come now.
"Lily so what I want to know… I ahm… I mean" He blushed now, then he spoke it out. "Do you want to become my girlfriend?"
Now everything depends on her and her answer. I have offered you my heart and my love. Please love me back!

Lily observed James a few moments then she closed her eyes and imagined how it would make her feel when she would really be in a relationship with James.
Holding his hands is nice… Being hugged by him feels great. Kissing him is fantastic. Hmm…
After a few more seconds she opened her eyes again and saw how he also right now looked up. Their eyes met and suddenly she felt like everything inside of her would scream at her for the rest of her life if she would dare to say 'no'. So she grinned and said: "Oh James… Yes I want to become your girlfriend! Let's start right here and now a real official serious relationship!"
James starred at her for a moment then he jumped up and hugged her tightly. "Oh Sweetheart, thank you sooo much!" Lily smiled and said: "Now you are also officially permitted to call me sweetheart or baby or whatever sweet name you can imagine." James kissed her and thanked her again. "But now my angel let's go back to the castle. Here it is far to scary for my beloved new girlfriend." She giggled and said: "Okay my hero guide me back to safety." They kissed one more time, then they went hand in hand back to the castle.
