The previous year had ended, and with it brought upon the start of the new one. The air still held the chill of winter, but the next chapter in the lives of the ninja had begun.

A new teammate, a new home, so much had changed in the last several months. Despite this fact they were all excited to see where life would take them next. However, no one's excitement quite compared to that of the yellow ninja's.

Destiny had been training tirelessly to be the full fledged Master of Species, and her practice had been paying off. So far she had managed to defeat each of her fellow ninja in their one on one sparring matches.

Well, nearly all of them. Today marked Destiny's final trial, and if she could defeat her opponent then she would advance to the next stage of her training.

Destiny was currently locked in an intense match against none other than the green ninja. Their fight had also been going on for quite some time now, and the other ninja watched intently with baited breath unsure who would emerge victorious.

This fight was not some simple brawl either, no. Master Wu had specifically instructed that elemental powers were to be used, and as such both teens were giving it their all.

"You got this Destiny!" Jay cheered from the sidelines, earning him a 'hush' from Master Wu.

The cheer had nearly distracted Destiny but the yellow clad teen remained focused, quickly jumping up into an aireal corkscrew in order to dodge the blasts of green light sent her way.

As she landed the yellow ninja followed up with a backwards cartwheel, transforming again as she had done several times already.

Facing off against the green ninja head on was Destiny's chosen form of a SaberRock. Previously thought to have been merely a mythological creature, the young teen had proved the beast to be a very real thing.

Destiny hadn't even come into contact with an actual SaberRock to copy its form, instead what Master Wu had discovered buried deep within his scrolls was that every previous Master of Species had had an inner beast.

A spirit animal of sorts that burned within them, and each Master had one specific to them and them alone. It had taken some time for Destiny to come in-tune with her spirit beast, but after enough persistence it had manifested itself for her.

The large saber cat towered over the height of the average car, and its back and forehead were plated in thick stone armor. Needless to say, the SaberRock was indeed a creature not to be meddled with; and because it was Destiny's spirit animal it had become her go-to transformation, not requiring as much energy as her other large forms.

Destiny's feral cat form roared loudly at the green ninja as she bounded towards him. Lloyd attempted to fire several more energy blasts at the colossal beast, but each orb of light simply dissipated as it made contact with the impenetrable stone armor.

As the distance between the two closed the blonde boy jumped out of the way and to the side, barely dodging the large clawed paw that swung at him. Now slid onto his knees Lloyd panted beneath his mask, this was the final stretch of their fight, he could tell.

It was now or never, if this battle lasted much longer the green ninja knew that he wouldn't have the stamina to pull through. Lloyd then dove to the side as he dodged the large paw again, and when he could he jumped upwards onto Destiny's back.

"Sorry about this Destiny!" Lloyd preemptively apologized, charging up a bigger energy blast than the ones he had thrown out earlier.

Destiny understood full well what the younger teen was trying to do, and quickly returned to her normal self, causing the pair of them to fall several yards and onto the ground below.

While Lloyd landed unexpectedly onto his back Destiny had landed on her feet, and as soon as the green ninja stood up he was caught off guard. Getting hit by the flash of a yellow tornado of spinjitzu before flying out of the large circle drawn in the dirt.

As Lloyd's back made contact with a nearby tree he grunted in pain, pulling off his mask as he attempted to recover from the blow.

"Good one-" The blonde groaned, complimenting the victor of match.

Destiny jogged over to Lloyd, helping him up off the ground.

"Thanks, sorry about that though Lloyd. I guess I got a bit carried away." The yellow clad girl apologized, her long brown hair falling over her shoulder as she pulled her friend up.

"Ah, that's alright. Master Wu told us to go all out, plus this was your final test after all." Lloyd said, showing his ninja sister a smile.

"Indeed, and a final test that she passed." Master Wu spoke up, getting the duo's attention.

"Wait, are you serious? Does that mean-!" Destiny began excitedly, but stopped as she waited for their ninja Master to confirm her thoughts. Master Wu chuckled a bit, but smiled as he nodded.

"Yes, you are hereby known as Destiny, the yellow ninja, and Master of Species. However, your training is not yet over. Come, together we will discuss the next step of your journey." The elder said before turning around, using his staff as a walking stick as he began traveling in the direction of the Airjitzu Temple.

Destiny waited until Master Wu's back was turned but then silently squealed, jumping up and down happily as she did so. Her fellow ninja congratulated her, patting her on the arms and shoulders as well as the occasional hug before they guided her to follow their Sensei.

The yellow clad teen jogged to catch up to the older man, but kept her excitement under wraps as they entered the building and made their way to the ninja Master's room of scrolls. As the pair entered the room Destiny made sure the door closed behind them.

"So, what's next Master?" The short teen asked, looking at her Sensei eagerly. Master Wu then grabbed a nearby scroll, and unrolled it onto the table between the two of them. Written on the scroll in black ink were images depicting different types of weapons.

"One of the most important tools a ninja requires to be successful in battle is a weapon. A weapon is not just a tool, but an extension of the ninja themselves. For your next trial you are to craft your own weapon using the forge outside." The elder instructed, rolling his scroll back up as he did so.

"Wait, so let me get this straight. You want me to forge a weapon?" The yellow ninja questioned, not quite understanding how the elder expected her to be able to accomplish such a feat. She had never even stepped foot in a forge before after all.

"Yes." Master Wu replied simply, a smile on his face as he walked out of the room. Destiny then quickly followed after the white bearded man.

"But, how am I supposed to craft my own weapon? I've never even been in a forge before, let alone used one!" Destiny argued, but the ninja master did not seemed concerned.

"That is for you to figure out. Although, I never said that you couldn't ask the others for guidance." Wu stated before walking off, leaving the yellow ninja in the hallway.

After some time thinking on what their Sensei had said the young girl was still drawing blanks as how to solve the puzzle presented to her. Because of this the yellow ninja decided to take up Master Wu's advice, and returned to the courtyard where the other ninja were currently training.

As Destiny approached the others they continued their separate sparring matches, not having yet noticed the presence of their friend. It wasn't until Nya spoke up that they all stopped what they were doing.

"Destiny! How'd the talk with Master Wu go?" The water ninja asked, a smile present on her face as she lowered her sword from her boyfriends nunchucks.

"Yeah, what's he say?" The blue ninja added, interested in what the young girl had to say.

"He wants me to craft a weapon." Destiny stated, her arms crossed over her chest in frustration.

"Ah, that assignment." Kai spoke, sheathing his own pair of dual swords behind his back. "Nya and Lloyd still haven't finished it."

"Yeah.." Lloyd confessed sheepishly, standing beside his red clad brother.

"Sadly it's true." Nya added, more exasperated and annoyed than actually sad.

"Wait, is it actually that difficult?" The Master of Species questioned, now worried whether or not she would ever find the right weapon.

"Well, finding the right weapon is a huge commitment. Kai, Jay, and Zane have pretty much used the same ones the whole time we've been ninja, but even I've had a hard time finding the best choice. I want to make sure I get the right one for me, y'know?" Cole explained, setting his large battle axe that he had only recently acquired down onto the ground. Leaning against the long hilt as he did so.

"Cole speaks the truth, it is imperative that a ninja finds the most suitable weapon. If they do not then their capability in combat will be greatly hindered." Zane informed, placing his twin sherikins into his belt.

"But, Master Wu makes us practice with a bunch of different weapons?" Destiny stated, now confused.

"That's because we need to be able to adapt to whatever situations are thrown our way. Having the right weapon to use the majority of the time though is still extremely important." The green ninja explained, putting his single sword away.

"I guess that makes sense. I have no clue what weapon works best for me though." The short girl said sadly, her arms falling to her sides as the words left her mouth. The other ninja then walked over to her, and Kai placed a gentle hand onto her shoulder.

"Maybe we could help? Wanna try out our weapons?" The spiky haired boy offered.

"Wait, are you guys serious?" Destiny questioned.

"No we're just messing with you, of course we're serious!" Jay joked, laughing a bit as he shot the teen a bright smile. Destiny couldn't help but crack a smile as well.

"You can start off with mine if you'd like? I have a couple different options for you to try out." Cole added, giving the short girl a smile as well.

"Yeah, that'd actually be amazing. Thank you guys." Destiny thanked, grateful for her incredible family.

"It's no problem. Now, let's get this thing started!" Nya shouted excitedly, and with that the groups' mission began.

The process of finding the right weapon was beginning to prove just as difficult as the brunette girl had feared. So far she'd take one of her fellow ninja's weapons, practicing with it for a day or two before moving onto the next one.

It hadn't taken long for the yellow ninja to deduce that both Cole's and Zane's weapons were not the right tools for her. Cole's had been too heavy and she hadn't even been able to lift any of them. Then with Zane's, well, she may or may not have broken one of the temple windows.

She'd also tried staves, kunai, and clawed weapons that were meant to be worn on one's palms. Nothing was clicking yet, and although the genaric training swords had worked out the best so far they still didn't quite click.

Now Destiny was onto Jay's nunchucks, and so far they proved to be… frustrating for the yellow clad girl.

Currently in her room running through the motions that the blue ninja had shown her Destiny was still struggling. Even when she practiced slowly Destiny still didn't feel like she was doing it right.

All it took was her accidently hitting herself in the face before she threw the inanimate object across the room. The nunchucks hit the wall with a loud whack before falling onto the wooden floor with a thud.

Destiny then angrily grabbed one of her pillows off of her bed before shoving it into her face. She let out a muffled screamed into the soft fabric before flopping onto the mattress beside her.

After a moment of silence there was knock on her door. The yellow ninja ignored the sound, and instead groaned at the disturbance. She was disappointed enough, and did not have the motivation to move from her current position.

Despite the fact that she did not open the door, whoever was on the other side opened it anyways. Footsteps followed, and Destiny remained unresponsive as her company joined her in her bedroom.

"It's going that badly, huh?" The familiar voice of Nya questioned. Although Destiny wasn't looking at the noir haired girl she could hear the grimace in her tone. When she didn't get a response the water ninja continued.

"Y'know, right now you remind of Kai." Destiny turned her head slightly at this comment, and looked at her friend with a raised eyebrow.

She reminded Nya of Kai? What was that supposed to mean? As if Nya had heard the other girls' unspoken question she answered it.

"Whenever it used to be just Kai and myself we lived in our parents old blacksmith shop. Then when our parents disappeared Kai had to learn to forge weapons and armor so we could make money for rent." Nya then let out a melancholic laugh as she reminisced on the memory.

"Kai struggled to make things that were good enough to sell though; he was always impatient, you know? When he got mad he'd faceplant onto his bed like you're doing now haha. But, after a while Kai realized he wasn't getting anywhere, and took a moment to reflect. Once he did that he even started to think outside the box. He crafted items that were unique to our shop alone, and business picked up enough for us to afford rent and keep our home." Although Destiny said nothing, she listened intently to her friends' tale.

Kai had thought outside the box and crafted something unique, huh? Destiny then gasped as she sat up quickly, a light bulb going off in her head.

"THAT'S IT!" The yellow clad teen shouted, startling her friend. "THANK YOU NYA!" Destiny thanked the water ninja as she took her by the hands, standing her up from off of the bed. Destiny then ran to the far side of the room, picking up the blue ninja's nunchucks before placing them in her stunned friend's arms.

"You-can-give-these-back-to-Jay-I-don't-need-them-anymore-thank-you-for-the-talk-I-have-work-to-do-see-you-later-byeeee!" Destiny spoke quickly, pushing the water elemental out of the room before closing the bedroom door with a slam.

The teal ninja stood in the hallway for a brief second, hoodwinked and dumbfounded. When she came back to her senses though Nya smiled to herself, happy she had been able to be of some help to her friend.

Over the next few hours no one saw the Master of Species. When Nya had spoken to Destiny it had been morning, and it wasn't until after dinner that everyone took notice of the yellow ninja's absence.

Kai had volunteered himself to check in on their missing teammate; and just as he raised his hand to knock on the door in front of him it flew open and the person he had come to see ran face first into his chest, causing both of them to stumble backwards.

"Whoa, I'd ask 'where's the fire?' but, I'm right here." The red ninja joked. The shorter of the two didn't acknowledge his joke though, her mind too tunneled in on the task at hand.

"Kai!" Destiny shouted, causing a shocked expression to paint the fire ninja's face. He wasn't sure what to expect, but it hadn't been this.

"I need you!" The yellow ninja continued.

"Frisky are we?" The spiky haired ninja continued, but just as before his jousts were left unhumored.

"Will you stop that!" Destiny scolded, lightly smacking Kai's upper arm several times.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Not the face!" The red ninja feigned as he attempted to block Destiny's whacks with his arms. Once Destiny stopped he straightened back up, looking down at the short girl.

"What's got you all wound up?"

"This!" Destiny answered, pushing several sheets of paper into the red ninja's chest in a similar fashion to how she'd shoved Jay's nunchucks into his sisters arms earlier. Kai took the papers into his hands, and sifted through them before looking back over to his friend.

"Wow, I don't think I've seen anything like this before." Kai stated, somewhat impressed with the blueprints (although he would never admit it).

"Nya told me you used to be a blacksmith. Do you think you could help me make it?" The yellow clad girl asked. Her question took Kai by surprise, and his usual confident attitude was replaced by uncharacteristic nervousness.

"I- I don't know about that. It's been a while since I was in a forge…" The red ninja trailed off, clearly unsure of his blacksmithing abilities.

"Please Kai," the yellow ninja begged, "I have a feeling this is it." Kai looked between the papers and his friend for a few moments before showing the short girl a soft smile.

"Alright, I'll give it a shot." Kai conceded, causing Destiny to erupt into a fit of cheers.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, Kai!" Destiny shouted excitedly as she jumped up and down, holding onto one of the red ninja's forearms with her hands.

"Don't be getting too excited now. You're going to come help me." Kai stated with a smirk. It was Destiny's turn to be surprised now.

"Me? But, I've never worked in a forge before." The girl responded.

"While that may be so, this isn't my weapon I'm crafting. I'll need you there to make sure it comes out just the way to need it too. Besides, I'll show you the ropes!" Kai explained, turning on his heel before going down the stairs that led to the first floor.

"Wait, we're going now?" The short girl questioned, quickly following after her red clad counterpart.

With that the duo made their way out of the house and around to the backside of the island. Behind the temple laid a second more hidden building, this smaller structure was in fact, the blacksmithing forge that Master Wu had spoken of.

As Kai and Destiny entered the stout stone forge it quickly became clear that the space had not been used for quite some time. Dry leaves and dirt littered the floor while cobwebs decorated the walls and ceiling. After taking some time to clean their workspace, the two finally got down to business.

As promised, once Kai lit the forge, he began showing his friend the basics of blacksmithing. At first Destiny was very apprehensive, but as the night grew longer and the more they pushed forward, they both slowly grew more confident.

Although not originally intended, the two worked late into the night, burning the midnight oil until the sun began to set the horizon ablaze. While they were running on no sleep, the pair did not care. Both too invested in finishing what they had started.

Piece by piece, the metal was melted, and reshaped until the once pile of scraps was reforged into a deadly masterpiece. As Kai had said before he had never seen anything quite like what they were crafting, and Destiny was there to guide the Master of Fire just as he was there to guide her.

Finally, after a long night their job was completed. Laid out in front of them was a twin set of silver snake curved blades. The weapons were short for swords, barely longer than ones' forearm, but hidden along the hilt of each one was a button. When pressed the swords split into separate fragments, held together by a long metal wire, turning the swords into sharpened whips.

"Well, there they are. Why don't you try them out?" The Master of Fire suggested giving his friend a reassuring smile, he could tell she was nervous.

Gently, Destiny picked up one of the swords, and admired its beauty first. The top of the hilt was not leather, but instead a golden orniment shaped in the form of a wingless dragon. On either end of the dragon was a roaring head, and in one clawed hand of each was a golden orb.

Destiny's hazel eyes then continued along the object. At the base of the hilt was a yellow gem held in place by a leather casing, and when held up to the sun it similarly resembled the glow of the yellow ninja's use of spinjitzu.

The Master of Species then looked into the blade itself. When it was put together the lines separating the different sections of the whip form were hardly visable, and in this state it appeared to be one solid piece of metal.

Destiny then swung the sword around several times, and the weapon held up nicely, moving as one piece. Continuing her test of her new tool she pressed the hidden button, causing the sword to separate and extend, the tip of the blade landing on the floor with a clang.

The yellow ninja then swung the weapon around some more, following the motions that Jay had taught her with the nunchucks. Each time one of the metal fragments of the blade made contact with the stone building, sparks flew.

The young teen couldn't help the smile that formed across her face either each time the low ceiling-ed room was illuminated by the orange flashes of metal meeting stone. With one final twist of her wrist the whip shot upwards, and with perfect timing the young girl pressed the hidden button for a second time. With it, the blade recoiled swiftly, before clicking back inwards and retaking it's original sword shape.

"Soo?" Kai started, looking at the yellow ninja expectantly. "How is it?"

Destiny smiled as she turned to look at her taller friend.

"It's, amazing!" The yellow clad girl cheered. She then went to give the fire ninja a hug but they both backed out of it several times (Kai narrowly dodging the new blade each time) before Destiny finally set it to the side. Without a deadly object separating them now the two hugged in a tired and sweaty embrace.

"That's good. Now you can show it to Master Wu." Kai stated, giving the short girl a smile as he ended their hug.

"You're right!" Destiny then grabbed the twin blades, wrapping them up in a leather blanket to keep their existence hidden from the other ninja a little while longer.

Although eager to show the others what she and the Master of Fire had crafted, Destiny also wanted it to be a surprise.

As the yellow ninja turned to leave Kai threw down his small shoulder towel onto a nearby workbench. Even though they had been working all night the spiky haired boy did not want to leave the forge looking like an absolute mess.

Destiny stopped in her tracks as she met the doorway before turning around and wrapping one of her arms around the fire ninja tightly. His once white apron was now covered in black soot smudges, and his usual spiky brown hair appeared more droopy. Although his eyes showed exhaustion his face held a genuine smile.

"What's all this for?" Kai asked with a chuckle, not yet hugging his friend back.

"For everything, thank you for helping me Kai." Destiny spoke into the red ninja's chest. Kai then finally hugged Destiny back for a moment.

"Hey, anytime. Now, go show Master Wu. I'm sure he'll have something up his sleeve for you." Kai said, once again ending their embrace before nudging Destiny back towards the door.

"What's that supposed to mean- and, what about the forge?" Destiny questioned, not wanting to leave her friend to clean up the mess all himself.

"I got it, don't worry about it! I'll probably finish up before you do anyways." The fire ninja stated with a teasing smirk. Destiny then returned the playful expression as she side skipped outside a bit, leather blanket still in hand.

"Uh huh! We'll see about that!" Destiny exclaimed with a laugh before running in the direction of the temple.

"Good luck fuzz ball!" Kai shouted at the Master of Species, poking his head out of the stone building a bit to do so.

"You too hotshot!" Destiny called back before disappearing around the corner.

When Destiny entered the Airjitzu Temple she ran past the other ninja, who were groggy, the haze of sleep still clouding their eyes. All except for Zane who was wide awake and functioning, currently helping the Master of Earth in making sure he didn't spill any coffee whilst pouring it into his cup.

"Good morning Destiny." The ice ninja greeted warmly as he heard the front door open and close. Destiny didn't stop as she greeted the titanium ninja as well.

"Mornin' Zane!" The short girls voice spoke as her yellow blur of a figure dashed by the doorway and down the hall.

Once Destiny reached the door to Master Wu's meditation room she didn't even bother giving the elder a chance to respond after knocking, barreling into the room immediately after her hand left the door.

There in the center of the meditation room was Master Wu. Although he was up and walking about it appeared as though he too had barely started his day, his signature hat not even atop his head yet.

"Good morning Destiny, how can I help you?" The white bearded man asked, pouring himself a cup of steaming tea as he did so.

"Master Wu! I think I finally found my weapon!" The short brunette girl said with a smile.

"Already? I'm quite impressed. Tell me, is it a scythe? A staff? Nunchucks perhaps?" The ninja master attempted to guess. Destiny then felt herself become a bit nervous, her grip on the leather blanket in her arms tightening a bit.

"Actually… I crafted my own weapon Master, with Kai's help." The yellow clad girl admitted. Master Wu nodded his head.

"I know. I saw the plume of smoke erupting from the chimney and suspected you might have been the cause." Master Wu stated with a somewhat teasing smile. After taking a seat onto his meditation mat, and sipping on his tea he continued.

"I am still curious though; what did you craft that took all night to do so?"

Destiny reluctantly shuffled over to the second unclaimed meditation mat across from Master Wu before laying the leather blanket onto the free space of the floor between them.

The Master of Species then took in a deep breath, letting it out as she unrolled the blanket as if it were a sacred scroll. Once the leather was opened the twin short swords slid out, the silver of their blades reflecting small flashes of sun rays that spilled in through the nearby windows.

Destiny felt her hands begin to clam up a bit as Master Wu inspected her swords, and by the second she grew more and more nervous. These swords were more than swords to her, they were her tools. Extensions of herself, just as Master Wu had eluded to. Despite this though, the yellow ninja still sought her Sensei's blessing.

"I have not seen anything quite like this before." Master Wu stated, and the young teen could feel her stomach twist uncomfortably.

"Although these are not traditional ninja weapons, I believe that they will serve you well in the battles to come." Wu then looked up from the sword in his hand that he had been inspecting, giving his student a smile.

"Wait, so, I did it? I can use them?" Destiny questioned, wanting to be sure she fully understood what her Sensei was saying. Master Wu gave her a nod.

"Indeed, and surprisingly quickly as well. I suppose it is the nature of being the Master of Species that allows you to adapt so well." Master Wu complimented, setting the sword back down onto the unrolled leather.

"Thank you Master Wu, that means a lot." Destiny thanked, giving the elder a bow of appreciation as well.

Once she sat back up the teen began re-rolling her swords up into the leather scrap, eager to show the rest of the ninja now what she and Kai had accomplished. As she stood up though she was interrupted by the spinjitzu master.

"Before you go Destiny, I have something that I would like to show you." Destiny turned around, leather blanket in hand as she gave her attention to the old man.

"What is it Sensei?" Destiny asked.

Master Wu then stood up as well, and made his way over to a large chest in the corner of the room. After rummaging around a bit he pulled out a thin square, wrapped neatly in light brown paper. The Master then walked back over to Destiny, holding out the square to her until she took it from him.

"What's this?" Destiny continued to question, this time with a raised eyebrow as she inspected the gift in her free hand.

"Oh, just a little something that every ninja needs." Wu responded, turning his back as he returned to his spot on the furthest meditation mat.

"See, when you say cryptic stuff like that it sounds creepy, and honestly kinda freaks me out." The yellow clad girl joked. The ninja master ignored this comment though.

"Well, that is enough talk for now. If you would please excuse me, I must get to my morning meditation routine." Master Wu said, dismissing the young girl.

With her Sensei's blessing, and new gift in hand Destiny made her way to the kitchen, her fellow ninja all seated around the diner table in the dining space beyond it. As she sat down alongside them Destiny set her items onto the table top for all to see.

"Goodmorning guys." The Master of Species greeted with a smile. The others all returned the greeting in unison, with slightly differing variations.

"What's all this?" Cole questioned, referring to the things Destiny had set down. Although the fluffy raven haired boy was drinking coffee he did not seem energized, simply less asleep.

"Well, last night I talked to Kai and he and I may or may not have spent all night forging my weapons together." The yellow ninja admitted, unable to help the pop smile that was creeping along the corners of her lips.

"Ooo! Let's see!" Jay said excitedly, immediately perking up from his previously half-asleep state.

"I too am curious to see what the two of you spent all night crafting." Zane added, watching his friend with a content smile.

Destiny then unrolled the leather again, revealing the twin short swords for the other ninja just as she had done for their Sensei.

"Whoa, those don't look like any kind of swords I've seen before." Lloyd said in awe, his attitude also shifting to a more awakened state as he admired the tools.

"Yeah, I don't think I've seen anything like these either." Nya added, closely inspecting one of the swords in her hands.

"You'll have to tell me how you and Kai did this."

"Sure, I'd love to!" Destiny replied with a smile. Her attention was redirected to the Master of Earth though as he spoke up again.

"Sorry to interrupt, but what's that thing?" Cole asked, pointing to the neatly wrapped square received from Master Wu.

"Actually I'm not sure." Destiny started, "Master Wu gave it to me, but he didn't say what it was."

"What are you waiting for then? If it was something from Master Wu it's bound to be interesting." The voice of the fire ninja cut in. Turning around Destiny saw the still ash and sweat covered form of the spiky haired boy.

The short girl then gave him a nod before moving her gaze to the square. Destiny unwrapped the square delicately, not wanting to damage the packaging in case the object inside was fragile.

After tearing a small section of the tissue paper in two the yellow ninja then began to carefully unwrap the paper. Once several layers had been unfolded and put to the side, the group finally caught a glimpse at whatever had been sealed.

Pulling apart the fine layer of paper, what laid inside was enough to cause the yellow ninja's jaw to drop. It was a piece of clothing, but not just any clothing. Holding up the amalgam of fabric, leather, and metal the ninja soon put together that it was a suit.

A yellow, sun colored ninja suit, perfectly sized and crafted for the yellow ninja herself. Destiny couldn't help but simply admire the beauty and craftsmanship of the gi, and ran her hand along the separate layers of the armor slowly as she inspected its durability.

"Congratulations Destiny!" Jay said happily as he and the others admired the suit as well.

"Yeah! It looks amazing!" Lloyd added with a smile.

"You should wear it for this morning's training session." Nya stated, eager to see how her friend looked in her official suit.

"While I have no doubts that Master Wu would give an inadequate suit, I still believe it would be a good idea to test its durability." Zane spoke up.

"Zane is right." Cole agreed, looking over to the yellow ninja.

"I wonder if this means Master Wu got our new suits in too." Kai spoke up, taking off his stained apron as he sat at the table.

"OOO! That's true! I'm gonna go see!" Jay shouted happily, jumping up from his seat before running out of the dining room.

"Oh! Me too!" Lloyd called after the blue ninja, chasing the ginger haired boy down the hallway.

"They can check all they want, I'm taking a nap." The red ninja stated, laying his head onto the table top like a child in school.

"Me too." Destiny agreed with a smile.

Before Destiny could copy the fire ninja's impromptu sleeping position though she noticed Cole beckoning her over to his side of the table, gently patting his shoulder as if to offer her a place to rest.

The yellow ninja couldn't help but smile at the tall boy, and stood up, walking around the table to the other side before sitting beside the black ninja. Gently, the brunette laid her head against his shoulder and chest, and he in turn wrapped an arm loosely around her back to ensure she wouldn't fall while sleeping.

As the red and yellow ninja's attempted to catch up on some much needed rest the others did their best not to disturb them. Cole simply scrolled on his phone with his free hand, while Zane and Nya chatted amongst themselves in hushed tones.

To the group's disappointment though the peace did not last forever, and eventually the blue and green ninja's returned with Master Wu. Two separate boxes in hand, each containing deepstone shoulderpads, as well more gi for the remaining ninja.
