Burning Element
Within the Seireitei, Fianna was walking but she stopped and had a sour expression. She sighed as she was annoyed.
"What do you want?" Fianna asked.
"Oh, you caught on," A male voice said, "that's surprising. I thought I would have to call you out."
Fianna turned around and faced Jio who had a grin.
"I actually came to see you," Jio responded.
"To see me?" Fianna replied surprised and was now on guard, "What do you mean?"
"I mean as exactly as I said," Jio said, "I came to see you. I want to discuss something with you."
Fianna glared at Jio still bitter what happened when she first confronted him at the forest within the grounds of the Areishia Spirit Academy and what had occurred within the abandoned mine of Gado.
"Whatever it that you want to discuss I am not interested," Fianna said, "I want nothing to do with you."
"Now, now, let's not be so short-sighted," Jio insisted, "I was thinking we can work together. You assist me and I help you with whatever it is that you desire."
"What?" Fianna replied glaring at Jio, "Why would I ever want to work with you after everything you have done?"
"I thought I would give you chance," Jio said smugly, "you're weaker than me after all and you have no real talent," Jio closed his eyes as he was pleased with himself, "but I am now on a path that will get me on the top and if you submit to me, I will show you a bit of mercy."
Jio opened his eyes and was shocked in what he saw and it was that Fianna was nowhere to be seen. Jio looked around and was annoyed that Fianna just left while he was talking. Meanwhile Fianna was walking and was annoyed as she clenched her teeth. She stopped and took a deep sigh and she turned her head back.
"I will not allow myself to be weak before," Fianna said, "I won't be a burden to anyone and stand against people like Jio Inzagi."
Fianna looked around and used Shunpo.
Somewhere in the Human World
"Bakudo#4: Hainawa!" Kamito said suddenly.
Kamito generated a crackling yellow rope and threw it at Belias's two arms immobilizing them. Belias was shocked and Velsaria moved away. Belias looked and saw that he couldn't move his two arms and looked at Kamito with a hateful glare.
"We're not going to go down so easily," Kamito commented, "Slash, Kageshinzo."
Kamito activated his own Zanpakuto as he and Velsaria charged towards Belias with the intent to putting an end to Belias while the Demon Lord Spirit of Fire himself stomped his right foot on ground causing a fiery shockwave. This act forced Kamito and Velsaria to move back and they stood in the air as fiery waves surrounded Belias and he broke free from the Hainawa much to Kamito's dismay.
"You're going to have to have to do better than that," Belias said.
Belias spun his spear and jumped up leaving a blazing fiery trail and charged towards Kamito and Velsaria much to their surprise. Belias was able to get in front of the two Elementalist Shinigami and swung his spear towards Velsaria and was able to send her flying and quickly went on the attack against Kamito who was forced to be on the defensive as Belias was swings his arms and his spear against Kamito. Kamito repeatedly used Shunpo to move away but Belias sped towards Kamito leaving a flaming trail. Kamito was shocked as he quickly used evasive maneuvers to dodge Belias's attacks. Kamito landed on his feet on the ground and Belias landed on his feet on the ground causing another fiery shockwave. Kamito suddenly got close to Belias surprising to Demon Lord Spirit of Fire.
"Absolute Blade Art-First Form," Kamito said, "Purple Lightning!"
Kamito performed a powerful thrust to strike and struck Belias with his divine power and spirit energy. Kamito looked and was shocked to what he was seeing and it was that his blade had indeed struck Belias and but the Demon Lord Spirit just stood there and took it and didn't feel the effect. Belias just looked at blade of Kamito's Kageshinzo and was not impressed.
"Really?" Belias asked, "Did you not hear what I had said? I am not like Adrammelech."
Kamito was wide eyed and Belias threw a quick punch and struck Kamito and sent him flying. Belias followed up and rushed after him and spun his spear ready to stab Kamito. Kamito however saw his attempt.
"Gekko!" Kamito said.
Kamito swung his Zanpakuto and released a thin wave of dark energy and struck Belias and it actually severed his two right arms. Belias was shocked as it stopped his momentum and was surprised that his right arms were cut off.
"Haganehocho!" Velsaria said.
Belias was shocked as Velsaria swung and slammed her blade on the ground caused the ground split and created a wave of steel spikes and the steel spikes struck Belias. It was followed up when Belias was struck by a dark energy blast. He looked and saw that Restia was the one who did it and then Est held out her hand and struck Belias with her pressure that was actually able to force the Demon Lord Spirit of Fire to ground.
"Damn," Belias said angrily, "I did not expect this."
"It's over Belias," Restia said, "we got you right where we want you."
"Hmph, it seems that is the case," Belias said.
"So with that in mind," Kamito said.
Kamito walked a bit and kneeled down facing the pinned Belias.
"Kamito," Velsaria spoke.
"What do you hope accomplish?" Kamito asked, "What are you…" Kamito shook his head, "What do you Demon Lord Spirits plan to do here? There must be a reason why you are hanging here in this area within the Human World."
"Hmph, you want to know?" Belias responded, "Well I might be inclined to tell you… if you agree to become the Demon King and stand by with us."
"That's not going to happen," Kamito insisted, "How many time do I have to say it?" I have no desire to be the Demon King. I am simply a Shinigami of the Soul Society's Gotei 13."
"How shameful," Belias responded sounded disgusted, "I don't think you have any idea how evil the organization that you belong to is truly is."
"Evil?" Kamito asked.
"Yes, the Gotei 13 is an evil and despicable organization," Belias said, "no it's not just that, the powers at be, the ones who rule the Soul Society are quite vile and evil… I would even go as far as to say they are more demonic than we are."
"What are you talking about?" Kamito asked.
Belias glanced at Restia and narrowed his eyes.
"Restia, I see that he does not truly know," Belias said, "it seems that you have chosen to keep him ignorant, shocking considering that you have no love for the Soul Society yourself."
"It is not your concern," Restia said.
"Hmm, how shameful," Belias said, "but so be it."
Belias was able to suddenly release a burst of fiery energy and was able to push the two Shinigami and Spirits back and the Gigas spirit was able to break free and stood as he picked up his spear.
"He broke free," Est said.
"Kamito Kazehaya," Belias said, "you have been ignorant in the past and you continue to be ignorant even now," Belias got in a stance and pointed his spear towards Kamito, "and that is just inexcusable."
Belias charged towards Kamito with fiery speed and lunged himself to the male Elementalist much to shock of Kamito, Est, Restia, and Velsaria and with it, a fiery explosion occurred. The entire area was on fire. Belias looked and narrowed his eyes and it was fact that Dreadnought appeared and shielded his Elementalist as well as Kamito and his two contracted spirit. Belias backed away and thought of something.
"Hmm, interesting," Belias said.
Suddenly, an orb of light appeared and it moved and floated next to Belias. The Demon Lord Spirit of Fire looked at the orb.
"Ah I see," Belias said, "Very well then. Consider it done."
The orb of light left and Belias placed his spear on his left shoulder and turned around and walked away. Kamito, Est, Restia, and Velsaria were surprised in what they were seeing.
"Hold it, where are you going?" Velsaria asked.
Belias stopped to answer, "I'm taking my leave."
"What, you're leaving?" Kamito asked.
"You heard me," Belias said, "Yes, I'm leaving. I have another matter to attend to that just came up."
"Do you really think we'll just let you walk away after what you've done?" Velsaria asked.
Belias sighed, "You don't seem to get it. After what just happened, do you really think that you stand a chance against me? Right now, I can easily burn the both of you Elementalists alive and that would be it. Kamito Kazehaya, your refusal to be the Demon King is not going to get you far and Velsaria Eva Fahrengart, your strength is not enough and you would be just another statistic of Elementalists that I would have killed so easily. In fact, I would say that your spirits are the reasons that you are able to stand against me but with that, I am not impressed, especially you Kamito. It is just makes it even more infuriating that Adrammelech lost to you. It is so unacceptable."
"You…" Kamito spoke angrily.
"If we meet again or if you meet one of my brethren, you better either put up a better fight or stand with us as our Demon King," Belias said, "otherwise… well, it'll just be bad for you. That's all I got to say."
Belias walked away and Velsaria and Kamito were angry.
"Stop, we're not letting you go!" Velsaria declared.
"Belias, get back here!" Kamito demanded.
Belias responded by waving one of his arms and created a huge fire wave and made the two Shinigami jump back. They looked and the fiery wave was gone and Belias was nowhere in sight."
"He's gone," Kamito said.
Kamito and Velsaria looked around and didn't even feel his presence.
"Dammit, I let him get away," Kamito said bitterly and then he sighed and looked over to Restia and Est, "Are you two okay?"
"We're fine Kamito," Restia said.
"Sorry Kamito," Est said, "Belias was able to get away."
"It's not your fault," Kamito said, "It's mine really."
"I shoulder the blame as well," Velsaria said and then turned to Dreadnought, "thank you for assistance Dreadnought."
Dreadnought responded positively and Velsaria smiled at her contracted spirit. Velsaria and Kamito looked around seeing fires that Belias caused in the area. Kamito walked a bit and looked and found the two Shinigami that were killed and burned by Belias.
District 15 of West Rukongai, Soul Society
Claire was walking through an area with a lot of people. She was holding her contracted spirit Scarlet.
"I can't believe that this is the afterlife," Claire said, "Are we really in the Soul Society?"
Scarlet looked at Claire and meowed.
"Hmm, you're right Scarlet," Claire said, "I shouldn't doubt it. At least not from that Shinigami…"
Claire continued to walk with Scarlet and then she walked through a bridge. As she walked by, she passed someone.
"Oh, what is this?" A female voice asked.
"Huh?" Claire asked as she stopped.
"I sense something," A woman said, "Something unique," The woman looked over to Claire, "You there girl."
"Huh, what do you want?" Claire asked as she turned and faced the woman.
"I sense something fiery within you," The woman said.
The woman turned out to be Suzuna Gensofuji.
"Who are you?" Claire asked, "What do you want?"
Suzuna looked at Scarlet and smiled.
"What a cute little kitty you have," Suzuna commented.
"What do you want?" Claire asked feeling a bit hostile.
"My, my, no need to be on guard," Suzuna said, "anyway, there is something unique from you and I take it your little kitty is part of it."
"Who are you?" Claire asked.
"Oh don't mind me," Suzuna replied with a smile, "I just have a sense of unique spirit energies and something with it. Anyway, it would be interesting if you use what you have. Take care."
Suzuna left smiling and Claire stood and was left confused.
"Who was she?" Claire asked, "That woman is weird."
"Meow," Scarlet added.
"Something about that woman bothers me," Claire said.
Claire turned around and went on her way.
District 3 of North Rukongai
Ellis was walking through the district and she sighed sadly.
She suddenly heard some chatter and got curious and went to where the chatter was happening. When Ellis got there, she saw that people were gathering around. She looked and saw a group of Shinigami that was standing together.
"Hmm, what's going on here?" Ellis asked herself in her head.
Ellis rushed over and blended in with the crowd of people that looked on. The Elementalist looked on and wondered what was going on.
"Those people in black," Ellis said softly, "there are the same as the one that approached me… after I died."
Ellis looked around and then she saw someone and was shocked. She was shocked as she saw someone she recognized. A Shinigami walked around and it was Jio who looked around and was annoyed seeing people gathering.
"Hey, this isn't a show," Jio said, "go away. This doesn't involve you."
Ellis was shocked to see Jio as she was wide eyed.
Flashback: Mining Town Gado, Ordesia Empire
Deep within the mines of the deserted town, Ellis and the other knights with her were on the ground as they suffered terrible defeats and they were bleeding. Claire, Rinslet, and Fianna were on the ground as well and Jio was standing tall with Gladius in his hand.
"You're pathetic," Jio said, "every single one of you. What the hell made you think that you can take me on?"
Flashback End
Ellis was full of rage as she looked at the one who defeated her and her subordinates. Jio huffed and looked and noticed Ellis. He was surprised and then he grinned.
"Well now, I think I remember you," Jio said as he approached Ellis, "Oh I do remember now…" Jio sported a sinister grin, "I beat you and your fellow knights."
"Jio Inzagi," Ellis said with hatred.
"Well now, so you ended up here in the Soul Society as well," Jio said, "I wonder what happened."
"Why are you here?" Ellis asked.
"Hmm, can't you tell?" Jio replied and looked proud, "I'm a big deal around here."
"This has to be a sick joke," Ellis said upset.
"The one who is a joke is you," Jio replied, "In fact—"
Jio was interrupted by an explosion. Jio and Ellis looked and saw a group of Hollows making their way and they were led by a huge bipedal bull-like Hollow.
"There they are," One of the Shinigami said.
"Hmm, guess I didn't need to wait long," Jio said and then he turned to Ellis, "I don't have time for a weakling like you. I'm going to go and handle business. You go and be a weakling and hide like a coward."
"I am not a coward, I am a knight," Ellis insisted.
"Ha, not that it matters here," Jio responded mocking her.
Jio rushed over and joined the other Shinigami to fight against the Hollows. Ellis looked on and clenched her fists and one of her hand glowed as her spirit seal lit up.
District 10 of South Rukongai
Rinslet was back to a tree trunk with her contracted spirit Fenrir growling as they were facing three men who looked irritated and they were slowly approaching Rinslet and her companion.
"My, I didn't realize that I was going to facing such uncultured brutes," Rinslet said with a smirk.
"Damn woman," One of the men said angrily, "you have some nerve saying that when you and your damn mutt are the problem."
"I'll tell you what," Rinslet said as she flicked her hair, "I'm willing to let this go if you three bark like a good dogs for me and promise to be my servants."
The three men were stunned in they just heard and they looked at Rinslet wide eyed.
"Is this bitch serious?" One of the men responded.
"How dare you refer to me as a bitch," Rinslet replied, "I get enough of that from that stupid hellcat. Do you even know who I am?"
"A stupid arrogant woman that needs to be brought down a peg," One of the men said.
Rinslet was annoyed and looked at the men with cold eyes.
"Fine, be stubborn," Rinslet said, "Fenrir."
Fenrir growled at the three men and the three men stepped back a bit as they were nervous at the ice wolf.
"Feel regret?" Rinslet asked feeling confident.
"Is this how you solve your problems?" A male voice asked.
Rinslet, Fenrir, and the three men looked and saw someone approaching them and it was Yoshikatsu.
"Hmm, man in black," Rinslet said, "same as the one who brought me here."
"Ah I see," Yoshikatsu said, "this wolf must be an Elemental Spirit," Yoshikatsu looked at Rinslet, "so must be an Elementalist."
Rinslet narrowed her eyes at Yoshikatsu.
