The next chapter is here! Enjoy :)

To say Than-guan had a neat house when it was all said and done; was a complete understatement.

It was similar to a human's home in a way, but more futuristic. She lost count of how many things were motion activated or had sensors in the place.

When he showed her the bathroom, it was just like the setting on the ship. There were no knobs for the toilet, shower, or bath.

And when they were in there and he was showing her where everything was, she couldn't resist messing with him a little. Like a little kid, she stuck her hand into the large shower stall and listened as it turned on and the water hit her hand.

Then she pulled it out, letting it turn off. She did this about five times before he turned to her and gave her a look, before saying; Really?

The last room he showed her of course, was the bedroom. Again, he showed her where everything was, including the compartments that come out of the wall where she can store her clothes.

Then showed her the large bed in the center of the room against the back wall and joked about how they will be using it later.

In which she retorted, that she will be partaking in no extracurricular activities until she gets some food in her stomach first. He laughed a little at that then led her back out of the room.

They backtracked downstairs and entered the kitchen area.

Than-guan went into the food storage and pulled out some dried-up meat that resembled jerky and went into a drawer and pulled out a piece of fruit.

Then he got a plate and set the food on it and gave it to her. Kayla thanked him and took the plate, then sat down at the table.

"I would've gotten a cup so I could get some water. But for some reason, everything is kept so high up in here. I would literally have to climb up on the counters if I needed something from the overhead cupboards." She stated.

Than-guan snickered at that. Yeah, most of these places weren't built with humans in mind. Yautja were a tall lot so, everything was built pretty high up.

It was hard not to laugh every time she took a seat. Because she would have to hop up on to it. He just about lost it when she scooched back, and her legs were jutting out in front of her like she was sitting in a highchair.

She wasn't all that amused when he said, he may add baby food to their list to feed her. And showed her thanks by flipping him the 'bird'.

"So, that means whenever I come in here and see you on one of the counters, that's when I know you're trying to grab something?" He teased.

"Well, how else am I going to reach anything in here that's up high?" She inquired.

Than-guan just grinned, "So, this means I can stash my weapons in here up high. Then when you get pissed at me for something and decide you want to kill me, all I got to do is listen to see if I hear the chair sliding across the floor in here. And that will give me a running head start."

Kayla snorted, "Very funny, Wise Ass. Though since you gave me the idea, I may just hide a few weapons of my own, where I can get to them."

"Just please don't hide anything among the many pelts in our bed. Don't want to be mating you and have my nuts nearly skewed because you hid the combi stick in there and it was accidentally extended from the movement of me thrusting into you." He deadpanned.

Kayla nearly spat out the water she was drinking and started laughing.

"Oh, c'mon, that's the last place I'd leave the combi stick. Though I can't make any promises with any of the projectile weapons." She teased.

"I'm all for adding new shit into the bedroom. But weapons aren't one of them. It's all fun and games until a plasma caster goes off and puts a nice size hole in the wall." He teased back.

The young woman was laughing again. There were times he could really make her laugh until she was in stitches.

"Sounds like you're speaking from personal experience." She said, between laughs.

"No, my friend Kuhjade thought it be a nice joke to add to the bedroom one mating season. To say the female, he brought back was unimpressed was an understatement. Surprised she didn't kill him for that little stunt when he nearly blew some of her tresses out." Than-guan remarked.

He remembered that clear as day. When Than-guan and a couple of his other friends saw Kuhjade the next day, he was black and blue all over, had a nasty limp, and his eye swollen shut.

They all almost died laughing when he told them why he was beaten so badly.

Kayla was nearly doubled over with laughter at this point. Now she really couldn't wait to meet this crazy friend of his. He definitely sounded like he was a hoot to be around.

"Really starting to like this friend of yours. He sounds downright hilarious." Kayla said, afterwards.

"Yeah, though not as funny as me. I still hold that title." He brags.

She rolled her eyes.

"Can't imagine how bad you two were together as kids. If you were a nightmare on your own as a kid; together it must've been worst. I feel bad for both your parents." She stated.

"Let's just say it could take months; maybe years to tell you all the good stories." He stated, with a mischievous grin.

"And it just occurred to me that this kid I'm carrying has half your genes. We're definitely screwed." She said.

"Literally and figuratively speaking, yes." Than-guan added, the smirk still has yet to leave his face.

Out of the twelve kids he already has, he knows a good portion of them already have the propensity for pranks and practical jokes. Because his previous mates would inform him of what they've done whenever he stopped by to visit them.

"At least five out of the twelve children I already have are proving to be the same kind of little terrors I was growing up. The reason I know this is because their mothers have told me what kind of mischief they have gotten into.

I've seen it for myself a couple times when I took them out around town with me a few times. Nearly got into trouble once when I took three of my sons and one of my daughters out to observe other yautja training at the training grounds.

One of my sons thought it funny to replace a short training staff with a pryj'tui, which is a type of vegetable. It is a type of stalk and it is long and thin.

One of the young bloods was in the sparring ring closest to the set of weapons we were standing not far from. He went to go grab what he thought was the short staff only to get the surprise of his life when he held out that piece of vegetable out in front of him.

The look on his and his opponent's face were priceless. And his opponent hunched over laughing. And so were the others sitting off to the side of the ring watching.

I looked around and saw my son standing right behind me trying to twirl the short staff he just hijacked and replaced with said vegetable. And when he noticed I was watching, he had a smug smirk on his face." Than-guan told her.

Again, Kayla was laughing at his stories. She could just about picture an embarrassed Than-guan standing there with a shocked look on his face and his young son looking proud with the staff he nabbed.

"Karma, you did that to yourself." She teased.

He chuckled, "I agree. But at least I warned you and you'll be prepared for when this little one arrives. I never said a thing to my previous mates and they learned for themselves the hard way as my kids got older."

She couldn't help but smile. Sure, his kids may have done things to drive him nuts. But he clearly loved them all.

"So, when will I get to meet them?" Kayla asks.

"You'll eventually meet all of them. Though it may be better I bring them to you then you to them. Because I don't know how any of my previous mates feel about humans." He explained.

Than-guan may have had a lot of mates, but he didn't really know much about them. He just got with them during mating season, they fucked, and he would leave.

That's usually just how it went most of the times with yautja. The females would pick out the males that they believe will give them strong pups. They mate with them, get pregnant, and tend to split.

Affection and love were not something general spread in the bedroom. Those feelings often occurred between mothers and their offspring, rather than their bed mates.

"That's fine. But...will they have a problem with me being a human?" She asks.

"I don't believe so. They are still quite young and don't know much about humans yet. They don't usually learn about humans until they are ready to hunt. So, I don't believe they will judge you for being of another race." He assured her.

He's not one hundred percent sure how their mothers are bringing them up. But when they are with him, Than-guan always teaches them the importance about being open minded and making decisions for themselves.

They spent quite some time after that talking more about his family. Not just his kids, but he talked about his siblings as well. She still can't get over the fact that he's one of fourteen kids!

Well, he claimed there actually used to be sixteen. But two of his brothers died during a hunt.

There were eight males and six females in total.

'His poor mother and father.' She thought.

That was certainly a lot of mouths to feed.

"Just letting you know right now that I'm not having that many kids." Kayla said.

"Oh no, you don't have to have that many because my mother did. I'm sure ten kids from you is a fine a number as any." He said, with a thoughtful look.

"Like hell! Three or four at the most, buddy! Then the baby making factory is closed for business!" She blurted out.

Than-guan laughed at her small outburst. He was only joking. He may not know too much about the human family units. But when he did see families out and about on the streets, he hardly saw more than three or four at a time.

Though it looked like two was the magic number for most with her kind. Why they have so few, he may never know. It was unheard of for any yautja to have any less than six. And even then, that was a pretty low number.

"Relax, Kayla. I was only kidding." He said.

There was brief pause, before he spoke again.

"How about eight?" Than-guan added.

Kayla narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms.

"Seven?" He kept going.

Now, she looked like she was getting ready to throw something at him.

"Ok, six it is then." He says.

And that's when he felt a dried piece of meat bounce off the crown of his head. He couldn't help but chuckle after than.

"I'll tell you what, if they ever find a way to make it so the males of your kind can give birth, then we can talk about double digits with kids. How's that sound?" She retorted.

Than-guan cringed at that thought.

"On second thought, let's stick to three or four like you said." He quickly replied.

Kayla snickered at his response.

'Yeah, it's not fun when the shoe's on the other foot. He seems to forget he's not the one pushing another being out of his body and how taxing it can be.' She thought.

"Are there any siblings you're very close with?" She asks.

Kayla liked that he was providing her with so much in regard to the most important people in his life. It also put her more at ease and made her more eager to meet them.

Her hand subconsciously went to her stomach.

But most off all, she can't wait to meet their own child. And she hopes the next few months will fly by until then.

Until Next Time ;)
