Ladybug swung down, ready to take the last couple of Pariitizens to safety and away from the Agreste mansion, when she saw Adrian curled up at his mother's statue. "Hey, are you going to" 'be ok?' She finished in her head. "Do you want me to drop you off anywhere?" she questioned instead.
Adrian glanced over to his lady and smiled, "Could you drop me off at Nino's, please?" he questioned, wanting to be with someone who he had been friends with somebody from the start, someone who wouldn't ask him any questions and someone who 'just' wants to hang out like friends with nothing else tying them together.
Before Ladybug could take him away, the last victims of Hawkmoth who wanted to go home swarmed them, some of which went to hug Ladybug 'happy' that she had come to save them. She glanced a sorry look at Adrian. "We will continue this conversation when I get back," she said as she went to take them all to their homes.
Ladybug only had 5 minutes left by the time she got to Adrian. He was talking to Plagg about his mother when she got there. His voice was so full of melancholy, "Adrian, would you like me to drop you off at Nino's now?" she questioned, wondering how she could make him smile again.
"Yes, please. Thank you for everything, M'Lady," he whispered. At this answer, Ladybug swung her yoyo and took Adrian to the Lahiffe home.
"Ladybug? Is everything ok?" Nino questions the Paris hero who's at his door. "Adrian? What are you doing here?" he continues after seeing his friend while trying to keep it secret that he already knew about his father, yet also wanting to know why he didn't have anywhere else to go.
"Adrian has asked if I could drop him off here." Ladybug started to explain. "His house is being 'worked on'. He needed somewhere until the work's finished". Ladybug answered truthfully.
"Well, I'll have to let my parents know, but sure 'dude, you can stay over. We'll play the coolest of games. I've got loads, even the ones Max wants me to test out." Nino rambled as he walked over to his shelves of games.
"Thank you again for this, Ladybug. You have been a great partner in all of this." Adrian whispered to his heroic partner.
"It was no problem. I'll see you at school tomorrow." She said before swinging out her yoyo and left to go home.
Seeing his lady leave, Adrian turns the T.V. on "'BREAKING' NEWS! HAWKMOTH DEFEATED! Ladybug! Is it true that the police have arrested Hawkmoth? Who was he?" questioned the reporter.
"Yes, Hawkmoth has been arrested. Though his identity is not to be known until his court hearing, on account of the people in his civilian life, they want to be kept out of the papers and don't want the attention," she answered before swinging away.
"Well, there you have it. The police have arrested Hawkmoth. Paris is free once more. Stay tuned to find out when the court case for Hawkmoth is and who is under the mask!" the reporter finished before Nino turned the news off and put in one of the games, ready to cheer his best friend up.
Everyone in Paris was cheering, making plans to have a fireworks night to celebrate the downfall of Hawkmoth, all but one who just looked at the two broaches they took from Ladybug when she was taking everyone home, a peacock and a butterfly, the power to create creatures and the power, to make people do as you say, 'yes, this will work perfectly.' they thought to themself as they walked through the crowd like a ghost.
