In the royal palace that was the main home for our villains, Spydey was practicing in front of her bedroom mirror after Mannequeen had been defeated and captured.

"Weava, I…I'm sorry for….gah…" Spydey shook her head. "Weava, I'm…uh…sorry for…for the break up, I-no that's too callous, you idiot!" She cursed, gripping her head. As she practiced to herself there was a knock at her door. She looked to the mirror, rubbing her eyes before adjusting her dress, going up to the door and opening it, seeing Scorpia.

"Oh, Scorpia! H-hi!" Spydey greeted with a nervous smile.

"...you ok?" Scorpia asked, raising an eyebrow, gesturing to her disheveled appearance.

"What, me? I'm ok, heheh, who's Spydey?" Spydey responded nervously, leaning against the door with an exaggerated smile. Scorpia raised a brow but swiftly shrugged it off mentally, trying to straighten up her back more officially.

"Owlbert has called us to the meeting room."

Spydey snickered. "Owlbert.." She cleared her throat. "I'll be uh..I'll be right there!"

"Good, I'll wait here."

Spydey nodded, closing the door.

...

A few moments later, the two were walking through the hallway, Spydey having fixed her appearance up.

"..." Spydey was quiet, shifting nervously as the two walked.

"Everything alright with Weava?" Scorpia asked.

"...I…we're…talking again." Spydey answered.

"That's good."

"Yeah…I just…I can't quite…figure out what to say."

"Just be yourself, that works normally, right?"

"Being myself is what got me into this mess!"

"Are you sure?"

"What do you mean?"

"From what I gather, it was Owlio telling you to do something unlike yourself. Would you have broken up with her otherwise?"

"I….no."

"Then why not come clean to her about it?"

"I can't…I…I screwed up royally just by doing that. I..I don't even deserve her friendship."

"Hey don't say that, you're amazing."

"Then why can't I just…talk to her like any good friend would? Why is it so hard?"

"Cause you're stressing yourself out and telling yourself that it's going to go wrong."

"I…" Spydey sighed, putting her face in her hands. "I don't know if I can do this.."

"I know you can, you're just scared, and hey, being scared is normal, okay?"

"You wouldn't uh…happen to have any advice?"

"W-well, uh…" Scorpia looked away bashfully. "I wouldn't be that good at it. There is one person I have-er, uh-had a crush on a bit ago, but I…never figured out how to say it myself."

"Awww…"

"S-sorry…"

"It's…it's alright." Spydey hugged her. "Thanks anyway…and for…all the other words."

Scorpia returned the hug as professionally as she could, trying to hide the giddy energy inside her at the moment. "No problem, why don't you go ahead, I gotta finish a thing real quick."

"Ok!" Spydey nodded, heading off. Scorpia waits until Spydey was out of earshot to kick the wall, biting her lip to muffle her screams and self-frustration.

"Everything alright?" Weava asked from behind her, causing the knight to yelp, turning around.

"Weava! Uh…hi."

"Hi." Weava repeated, giggling. "Just got back from informing Mannequeen's family about what happened. This ain't the first time she's been captured and held, so they know how to deal with it. Plus, she should be free sooner or later, going by the patterns of Earth invasions. That, or the red ranger might give into her feelings." She laughed.

"HA!" Scorpia chuckled. "You uh…ok?"

"Yeah. I mean, I know Mannequeen and her family are okay, but…" Weava sighed. "If I had trudged up just a tiny bit more patience, or if the equipment was working right, we wouldn't have had to send her out."

"Hey, she volunteered, you can't blame yourself."

"I know, I just…" Weava pinched the bridge of her nose. "Never mind. Let's just go."

"Of course. How are things with you and Spydey?" Scorpia responded as the two began walking together.

"We're…talking." Weava answered. "...Poor girl just wants to talk, but can't get the words out…heh, look at me, I can't exactly do that either."

"She's trying very hard but she gets in her own way."

"I know. It's adorable, some of her attempts, but…" Weava shook her head. "...was I just not good enough…did…did I do something wrong? She's putting so much blame on herself, but…if I had done better…"

"I've heard… It was Owlio's… ask. I don't know his reasons though."

"Owlio-..." Weava facepalmed. "How did I not..because of course he would."

"Please don't tell him I said that, though. He won't touch you or Spydey but I'm… more expendable to him."

Weava put a hand on Scorpia's arm. "I won't let him touch you." Scorpia smiles gently.

"Thanks."

Weava winked, causing Scorpia to blush before they arrived.

The two entered through the door, Scorpia holding the door open for Weava, the monster maker smiling, caressing her cheek, eliciting a huge blush before the red haired spider lady walked in to take her seat.

Scorpia walked in, seeing that the rest of the crew was here as well.

Owlio, who was waiting to see if everyone was here.

Spydey, who had taken her usual seat, her and Weava being their usually bashful selves with each other.

Poisoda and Owla, who looked a bit tired and annoyed.

And….Antlio.

As her eyes laid upon him, Scorpia rubbed her left arm just below the shoulder, memories flashing by.

"Scorpia?"

She snapped out of her reminiscence, seeing Spydey and Weava waving her over.

She blinked a few times, walking over to take her seat by them.

"Glad you could all make it." Owlio told everyone.

"You really have to do whatever this is this early, unc?" Owla asked, irritation in her eyes as she looked at her uncle and leader. "We just got done with this week's battle."

"Yeah, we were just about to clean up our shrine!" Poisoda added.

"You have a shrine?" Owlio asked, taken aback. "To who?"

"Why, to our lady-"

"AND THAT'S ENOUGH!" Owla cut her friend off with a finger to the lips. Poisoda grinned mischievously and kissed her forehand, causing the owl girl to blush.

"Poisiiiii!" She whined.

"Sorry, I can't help it!" The toad girl giggled.

Owlio rolled his eyes. "If you are done…?"

"Sorry!" The two girls said.

"My scouts have found something to help turn the tide in this war." Owlio announced, the magical screen next to him showing an image of a depiction of a heart/orb shaped objection that also resembled a cocoon. "The Champion's Heart. An artifact left by early iterations of the Ryumushingers. It contains great power, and we can use it to help strengthen the power. With that, we could either send more powerful monsters through, or send in more regular monsters or foot soldiers."

Spydey…looked uncertain at this. "Oh…I see.."

Owlio noticed this, realization hitting him. "Ah. You are worried about tradition?"

Spydey nodded.

"I have done my own research on Earthly invasions, and as the year goes on, more powerful monsters tend to emerge to fight the heroes. If anything, having this on hand would only benefit us in following tradition, do you not agree?"

Spydey paused and thought about this. After a few minutes, she smiled, nodding. "Alright. Sounds good to me!"

Owlio smiled, a genuine look of happiness on his face at the sight of the queen smiling. "Good."

"But uh…where is this, exactly?" Owla asked.

"In another dimension that…swings around, so to speak. It seems to have been locked in place for the time being, so we will be taking advantage of that. The Heart lies at the top of a mountain. Unfortunately, the portal we've devised can't send anyone to the top, only the bottom, so it'll be a trek, and from my experience in expeditions and journeys, likely a few obstacles and the like. Likely a few days long trip."

"I'll go!" Spydey says.

"Spydey, no." Owlio argued.

"Why not, I'm plenty tough!" Spydey responded.

"And we aren't letting you go alone." Weava piped up. Scorpia nodded.

"Spydey, you don't understand, it's-"

"Dangerous? I'm a queen of an empire, that already makes me a target. Here, there's unlikely to be anybody who even knows me, so if there are people there, element of surprise, or we're more likely to be able to reason with them."

"But we don't know what's going to be there."

"Has that ever stopped you on all your expeditions in the past?" Spydey pressed.

"That's different, I was-"

"An adult, like I am now." Spydey's expression softened. "I'm an adult now, Owlio. I can take care of myself. Besides that, I've got two powerful women at my side helping me. I'll be fine. Besides, we've all been through far worse than just a mountain trek."

"I… Gah, you're not going to back down on this are you?"

"Nope!" Spydey said with a cheerful look. Owlio rubbed his nose.

"...alright." He conceded after a few more moments of thinking about it, turning to Weava and Scorpia. "But you two's highest priority above all else is her safety."

Scorpia brought her right fist over her left breast, nodding with Weava. "We'll protect her with our lives." He nods slightly and lets out a harsh sigh.

"Alright, but Spydey I swear if you rush in at the first sign of trouble... "

"I won't, I promise!" Spydey rolled her eyes. He sighs and steps away for a second.

"The trip should only take a few days. More than enough time to get back for next week's monster attack. You three should make sure to pack what you need. It's quite cold there."

"Alright, anything else we should know?" Weava asked.

"Nothing else. You may go." Owlio nodded.

"Alright, we're on it."

Owlio nodded as the three arachnids set out for their rooms…

…Before Spydey ran back and hugged Owlio, catching him by surprise before he returned it.

"We'll be ok. I'll be back, I promise." Spydey reassured him with a smile.

With that, she ran off, Owlio with a look of fondness and concern on his face.

"Hey." Weava spoke up besides Scorpia as the three made their way to their rooms. "You seem a bit off."

"...Dunno what you mean." Scorpia responded, rubbing her right arm.

Weava took notice, gently taking Scorpia's arm, tracing along the upper part of it, a pink tint covering the knight's cheeks. "...I guess seeing him spooked you a bit, huh?" Weava asked.

"..." Scorpia nodded after a moment, recalling the way she briefly froze up upon seeing…Antlio. "It's…it's nothing-"

"Scorpia." Weava cut her off with a frown.

"...He's not attacking. I...I'm ok, I know that, but…just, first real loss like that, y'know…?" Scorpia tried to put up an amused front, but failed miserably. "Dunno why it's still a problem. Been years…"

"Loss takes more time than people usually give themselves."

"True. It's ok, though. Arm's…arm's doing good."

"That's good. Let me know if you need help."

"Y-yeah…s-sure thing." Scorpia said nervously as Weava traced her arm. Weava smiled and moved to prep some snow gear.

"Weava." Spydey called out.

Weava turned to her queen, giving her a warm smile.

"..." The two stood there silently.

"I…" Spydey began. "I…I wanted to…I…"

A few moments passed before Spydey put her face in her hands. Those hands were gently removed by Weava's, who took them in her own.

"Take your time, Spydey."

"..." Spydey looked into Weava's eyes. "...I'm sorry, I..this…I…I don't…" She blushed as Weava cupped her cheek.

"...It's ok." Weava told her. "Take as much time as you need. For now, go pack."

"..." Spydey nodded reluctantly, Weava caressing her cheek before heading off.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid, STUPID!" Spydey groaned as she packed. "Just a few simple words, 'I'm sorry, Weava, for our breakup,' but no, you just have to screw it all up! DAMMIT!" She yelled into her packed clothes.

She jumped when she heard a knock at her door behind her.

She blinked, going over to the door, looking through the keyhole before opening it, Scorpia awaiting on the other side with a smile. "S-Scorpia!" Spydey exclaimed in surprise. "Wh-what're you doing here? I thought you would've been packing."

"I just finished, figured I'd see if you need help."

"O-oh, thanks! Come in!" Spydey stepped to the side, allowing her friend in. "I got some clothes ready for the weather, I'm just having some trouble finding some spell books. Not as good at magic as Weava, of course, but a few tricks can't hurt, right?"

"Of course! I'll help look!"

Spydey grinned at her friend's enthusiasm, the two setting to finding the books.

"So, which ones are you looking for again?" Scorpia asked, looking under Spydey's bed.

"'Lady Spincaster's Spells Volumes 1 through 3. The beginner volumes." Spydey answered, looking through her drawers. "Red and black covers."

Scorpia looks around the room, opening shelves. "Those were…around when we first met, weren't they?" Scorpia asked, realization clicking.

"You remembered!" Spydey grinned.

"Yeah of course I do." Scorpia nodded. "I think it's where you and I became friends."

Spydey nodded, searching through more drawers. "Yeah. Back after…."

A silence set in, Spydey losing her smile before shaking her head. "Y-yeah…"

She felt Scorpia's tail wrap around her arm tenderly, the spider queen blushing. "Th-thanks for… just, everything, thanks…."

"It's my pleasure. Oh, by the way," Scorpia held up a book. "Found volume 1!"

Spydey squealed, hugging Scorpia. "Thank you! Again!" She took the book from her friend and packed it in her bag. She turned to see Scorpia sporting pink cheeks. "...you uh…ok?"

"Wh-what, me? Oh, I'm fine! Totally fine! Who's Scorpia?" Scorpia laughed nervously.

"...why do I get the sense of deja vu here…" Spydey muttered.

"Hehe, uh…oh, I think I see volume 2!" Scorpia said, quick to change the subject, pointing behind a row of books on top of a shelf.

"Oh! Thanks!" Spydey went to reach for it, struggling. "Ok, outta reach a bit, but-"

"Here!" Scorpia lifted Spydey onto her shoulders.

"Whoa! Thanks!" Spydey grinned, getting the book. "But uh, you do know I can crawl walls, right?"

"W-well, I-I thought I was here, might as well make myself useful!" Scorpia answered.

"...you do have nice arms…" Spydey muttered.

"What was that?" Scorpia asked, face pink.

"OH UH, NOTHING! NOTHING!" Spydey quickly shouted, face blushing as well.

"Um...o-okay."

Scorpia set Spydey down, the two not looking at each other for a bit, Spydey putting the book into her bag.

"S-so uh…you been alright?" Spydey asked.

"Yeah. I've been fine…" Scorpia said, rubbing her left arm.

"..." Spydey looked to her, checking the arm. "Is it acting up?"

"What? No, no!" Scorpia answered her. "Just…seeing him again…"

"..." Spydey frowned, eyes flashing as she put on a look of concentration, scanning the arm, releasing a breath as her eyes then stopped glowing. "Still okay. You…sure you're alright?"

"I'll be fine. I…have to be." Scorpia told her. "For your sake."

"You can't just ignore whatever you're going through your mind for my sake, Scorpia." Spydey told her. "It's not healthy."

"Y-you're right. I just…well, you know I don't find it the easiest to talk about this stuff…"

"I know." Spydey hugged her. "Just try to take it easy if anything's bothering you."

Scorpia returned the gesture. "Thanks…are you ok?"

"..." Spydey took a deep breath. "...I managed to get a few words out with Weava this time…"

"That's great!"

"Yeah…I…still couldn't get out what I wanted to say, but…progress!" Spydey sounded…less than enthused. "...I wish I got my parents' confidence…they probably would've solved this long ago…"

"Wasn't one of your dad's favorite stories how it took him 30 tries just to ask your mom out?"

"Pfft." Spydey snickered. "That was a great one. It's like one of those bloopers for movies."

"My point is, you remember your parents as perfect, that doesn't make it so."

"...true…" Spydey sat on her bed, rubbing her face. "...I felt I could do a lot with them…then…now…I…can barely get a few words out to someone I love so dearly…"

"Hey, remember the first ten times in the story? Your dad got maybe 4 words in."

"Heh." Spydey laughed. "Yeah. Difference is, he didn't potentially destroy his friendship forever with mom."

"Uh, then why is Weava still talking to you?"

"..." Spydey thought back to her recent conversations with Weava, a shiver of bliss washing through her body. "...I guess I did inherit something from my folks…my father's ineptitude at relationships." She snickered.

"That's better. C'mon, I'm sure Weava's waiting."

Spydey nodded after a bit. "Wait, the third volume-"

"Got it!" Scorpia held it up. "Found it behind a picture."

"Oh, thank you!" Spydey smiled, hugging her, taking the book and putting it in the bag.

As she rushed out the door she didn't see Scorpia biting her tongue, a crestfallen look in her eyes.

Right behind her was the picture she found the book behind. A framed one of Spydey blushing up a storm as Weava kissed her cheek, Spydey's arm wrapped around Scorpia, who in the picture was surprised and yelping.

"Right…right, everything's here, everything's stable…portal should hold for a good bit.." Owlio muttered as he analyzed the portal with some machines. "Good…everything's good for now." He said to himself before turning around and returning to his office.

When he got back, he sat down in his chair, his beige colored place of work decorated with several owl and night themed patterns, art, and artifacts.

On his desk was some paperwork, a quill shaped pen, as well as a framed photo of himself when he was younger alongside a male spider person with a female one, both spiders resembling Spydey in different ways.

As he stared at the picture, he couldn't help but think of the past…when days were better.

Flashback

"That…was rough." A younger Owlio spoke, resting against a pillar next to some stairs that led into a tomb, his clothes torn up a bit.

"Yeah, but…we got it!" A male humanoid spider spoke in black and red explorer clothes, holding up a golden crown with silver patterns woven into it. "The crown of the last Driger queen."

"Thank Areina!" A female humanoid spider exclaimed, plopping on the ground, wearing torn up explorer clothes. "I swear, that had more booby traps than usual. I can only take so much running away from boulders!"

"At least it wasn't another tar pit followed by flame throwers." The humanoid male responded.

"True." The female answered, laughing.

"Ya sure royalty should be out and about in these kinds of things?" Owlio asked teasingly to the female.

"Hey, I'm a tough girl!" The royal spider rebuffed, cheeks puffed out.

"OF course you are!" The male chuckles.

Owlio chuckled, walking forward before grunting, holding his left arm. "Ow."

"Whoa, you ok?" The man asked, walking over to him.

"Ngh…yeah, one of those traps just nicked me bad. I'll be fine." Owlio insisted before getting cut off, the woman taking his arm and pulling up his sleeve.

"Ohhh you're bleeding. Do we still have the first aid kit?" She asked.

"Right here." The man responded, taking out a white box with a red symbol meaning "health and safety" in the two spiders' language.

"Guys, really, I'm fine-" Owlio spoke before he grunted in pain, the man holding him in place with two left arms while using the rest to get out the supplies.

Owlio looked away as the man examined the wound.

"Ok, not too bad. Just a quick disinfectant, bandaging, you should be fine."

Owlio grunted in pain as the man got out a bottle and sprayed.

"See, Komoguru?" The woman claimed sarcastically. "He's totally fine."

"Oh har har, Arania." Owlio rolled his eyes.

"Hey it's not my fault you have no funny bone." Arania put her lower hands on her hips.

"Yes, but it's your fault your jokes put me in more pain than this wound is." Owlio responded, grunting as Komoguru finished spraying.

"Oh, a joke? Hey Komo, he did a funny!" Arania giggled.

"Hilarious. I knew we brought him along for something." Komo chuckled.

"You're hilarious-NGH!" Owlio groaned as Komo finished bandaging him up, smacking it gently, but firmly.

"There." He said with a cheeky grin.

Owlio moved his arm a bit. Pain was still there, but he was able to move it. "...thanks."

"Of course!"

"...ya don't have to put up with me, y'know." Owlio told them after a bit.

"Nonsense!" Komo told him, playfully bumping against him. "We're friends. We don't do that."

"Besides, replacing you would take too much time." Arania joked. "We need your great comedic skills that put the great Joya Pink to shame!"

"Oh shut up!" Owlio rolled his eyes in amusement. "But…seriously…"

"Huh?" Arania asked.

"...I never did truly thank you. You…helped me up...when my people, my home…"

Both spiders hugged him.

"That's what we do." Komo told him.

"Besides, ya give some of the best hugs, so we might as well keep ya around." Arania quipped.

"Not as good as yours." Owlio responded.

"Yes, well, I did say 'some of' the best." Arania grinned.

"Hey, what about me?" Komo asked.

"...6 out of 10?" Arania responded with a teasing smile.

"You jerk!" Komo responded with a mock pout, all three laughing.

Despite the blood, sweat and tears the three went through in that whole adventure…despite the fact everyone could really use a shower and a rest…

They were happy. Happy to just be together.

A slightly older Owlio stood next to a hole in the ground in front of a statue depicting a vague spider shape, various characters glowing red along the edges, the rain pouring down, matting his hair and soaking his black and white tuxedo outfit with a spider shaped neck tie and red tassels along his shoulders.

He looked on as the path, covered in a black and red carpet with web pattern trimming, was being walked on by several people of various species carrying a casket big enough for two people…one which was perfectly shaped to fill the hole he stood next to.

The road was blocked off on both sides by railings with glowing web curtains, several people outside both railings, in various states of distress, sorrow, rage…

But none were more upset than the young spider girl in a black and red dress standing next to him at less than half his height, although she tried not to show it.

It was when the casket got to the two of them that he could sense her charade faltering, somber music in the background.

The owl man turned towards the younger Spydey, putting a hand on her shoulder, the princess looking at him.

"...it's ok to cry." He whispered to her.

Her lip quivering, she tried to fight, but…as she laid eyes on the casket, she couldn't do it anymore. She fell to her knees, hugging it tightly, wailing loudly.

Owlio…he wasn't one to overtly cry, but…

As he knelt down beside her, arm around her, watching his best friends' daughter cry her eyes out…he wondered if some raindrops on his face…was that what they really were?

End of flashback.

Owlio opened his eyes, looking at the picture on his desk.

"..." He leaned forward. "...I promise…no harm will come to her…" He whispered, remembering the words he said to them all those years ago, when Spydey was born.

He only hoped he could keep that vow.

"I only hope they are gonna be ok." Owla said as she, Poisoda, and Antlio walked through the hallways to their quarters.

"Yes, I mean, she's our ruler, what if something happens?" Poisoda whispered. "What if…she gets hurt or…or worse?"

"I wouldn't worry too much about it." Antlio spoke up.

"Each of them is a badass in their own way." He continued. "I've seen it myself. Weava's taken down the Great Beast of Goliath Mountains. Spydey's survived through the toughest abandoned temples by pure skill alone, even when down a couple arms. And Scorpia…" He chuckled fondly. "That one has some rust on her blade. But, she has a burning drive, and sometimes that's the most important thing you need."

Poisoda smiled and nodded. "That's right, she even sliced that one giant robot in half!"

"She was SO COOL!" Owla squealed.

"See? Nothing to worry about." Antlio told them, patting their backs. "All of them have done great things. They're gonna do even more. Especially Scorpia." He spoke, the image of his old fellow classmate flashing through his mind, earning a smirk.

"Why her in particular?" Poisoda asked.

"Well, naturally, she was my rival. And anyone who could even remotely keep up with me is a true talent." Antlio answered with an overly smug grin, earning him some laughs.

"...I guess you're right." Poisoda conceded, nodding.

"Besides, they have each other for this. When you have each other…" Antlio began, putting on a faux dramatic voice.

"You're really gonna quote Towa's Quest?" Owla cringed.

"What can I say? I'm a fan of the classics." Antlio beamed with joking pride.

The two girls snickered.

"...there..is some truth, to be honest." Poisoda admitted, lacing her fingers with Owla's who blushed.

"...y-yeah, I…I guess there is." Owla smiled, turning away to hide her rosy cheeks.

Antlio smiled at the sight. "Anyways, we're coming up on my quarters, so I'll see ya in a bit." He told them.

"What're you gonna do, Antlio?" Poisoda asked, blinking curiously.

"Well I imagine the trio's gonna want us to say our byes, and they aren't gonna be done for a bit. I'm gonna get some training in. Sharpen my blade." The swordsman responded.

"Your sword's already sharp enough to cut through stone and some castle walls, how much more could it be!?" Owla asked incredulously.

"One can never be sharp enough." Antlio explained, gesturing to his sheathed weapon. "There will always be tougher enemies to fight, so you have to be tougher. Otherwise you slack."

"...point taken." Poisoda said after a bit of thinking.

"You're so cool and wise, Antlio!" Owla grinned.

"I try to be." Antlio chuckled, opening his door. "Meet you guys in a bit."

"See ya!" The two girls waved as he gave a two fingered salute, walking in and closing the door.

"You have your jackets?" Owlio asked.

"Yes." Spydey responded, wearing a thick black jacket with mystical red patterns that resembled spiders, thick black pants, mittens and boots, with an additional backpack.

"Your spell books?"

"Yes."

"Your snacks and drinks?"

Spydey rolled her eyes, taking off her backpack and showing them to Owlio. "I'm fine."

Owlio paused for a moment before nodding. "Alright. Just making sure."

Spydey nodded, smiling.

Scorpia, standing in a thick padded purple coat, dark purple mittens, black pants and boots with purple trimming, crossed her arms, tail hidden under her coat. She caught Antlio in the corner of her eye, who gave a two fingered salute. She scoffed, turning away.

Weava, who was wearing a black coat, form fitting pants, boots, and mittens, each with red mystical patterns resembling webs, checked her bags, nodding to herself once confirming she had everything.

There were those who weren't as stoic among them.

"WE'LL MISS YOUUUUU!" Owla and Poisoda cried, anime tears streaming down their faces as they bearhugged their monarch.

"I'll miss you too!" Spydey cried back, hugging them close, Scorpia and Weava rolling their eyes at their antics.

With the portal open behind them, Owlio walked forward, clearing his throat. "My lady?" He spoke to get Spydey's attention.

The queen looked to him before nodding, kissing Owla and Poisoda's foreheads, who squealed, eyes turning to hearts. "I'll come back, and when we get back, we'll watch movies together until it's time to send out the next monster, ok?"

"Yes, my lady!" The two responded happily, Spydey reluctantly breaking the hug before gathering up with her fellow arachnids.

"We'll be back." Spydey nodded at everyone.

Owlio nodded.

Weava put her hand on Spydey's shoulder, smiling, the queen getting a rose tint to her cheeks before nodding. She was the first to head into the portal.

Scorpia shook her head of the thoughts awakened by the sight, yelping when Weava grabbed her by the hand and pulled her through.

"..." Owlio took a deep breath. "...please…be safe…" He whispered.
