Chapter 3 Bandersnatch

Naofumi, Raphtalia and Alice were walking down streets of the Kingdom and Naofumi looks around.
"It's much nicer than Melromarc right?" Alice asked.
"Well nobody is judging me so that's way better." He said.
"All thanks to mother." Raphtalia said.
Naofumi looks at Alice. "So how do you fight wearing a dress?"
"What?" She looks at herself. "Oh no, this is simply my casual wear in the castle, I actually have armor in case of battles."
"I see, at least you can fight, that blonde idiot doesn't let his girls fight as he does all the work." Naofumi said.
Alice frowns. "Seriously, they'll end up dead because of that mistake."
"Yes, they won't be able to hone they're skills." Raphtalia agreed.
"So what now?" Naofumi asked.
"Well i'll be showing you around, plus we can check what will come out of that egg." Alice said
Naofumi nodded at her since that makes sense.
They saw hat shop and it was closed. "Who owns that?"
"Oh that's the Hatter's shop, he must be having tea now." Alice checks the time.
Naofumi looks around since it's really starting to sound like that book.
They went to a inn that they stayed for a bit since the Queen was still preparing a special room for Naofumi and Raphtalia wanted to be close.
The watched the egg and it hatched making a white Filolial come out.
It screeches happy before going to Naofumi's head.
"It's a Filolial." Raphtalia chuckles.
"She thinks your her mother." Alice smiles.
Naofumi frowns at what she said.
"I think i'll call her, Filo." He said.
"That's not very creative." Raphtalia said.
"But still sounds cute." Alice shrugs.
They raised Filo for some time and they saw her grow slowly, before she was now around the size of a horse.
The group went foward down the road as Filo was happy.
"Well she grew up so fast." Alice said.
They heard a roar as the Bandersnatch came out looking at them.
"What is that thing?!" Naofumi got surprised.
Filo glared at him as the Bandersnatch growls at her.
"That's the Bandersnatch, it's a creature that lives here. It's powerful enough to take down Wave monsters." Alice said.
"Well that's impressive." Naofumi said.
"Oh, we should check on the village you now own since they might need help." Alice suggested.
"That's a good idea." Raphtalia agreed with her.
"Okay, but we can't teleport there." Naofumi said.
"Don't worry, they can do fast." Alice points at the beasts.
They ride through the land as some creature tried to attack but the Bandersnatch destroyed them with ease.
"Man that thing is dangerous." Naofumi commented.
They arrived near Lute and they got off.
"Well that took some time." Naofumi said.
"Still with the speed we came it was enough." Alice smiles.
They saw Motoyasu come with Malty.
"I don't care what that Queen says, this village will be..." Malty stops when she saw the group. "What are you doing here Shield devil?!"
"I own this place." He shrugs.
"Hey, I should be the one ruling it." Motoyasu complained.
"That is impossible as the Red Queen took ownership of the village because of the events that happened to her daughter." Alice said.
"Well hello, who are you my dear angel?" Motoyasu asked her while holding Alice's hands.
She takes it back. "It's Alice, but don't touch me."
"She's the Red Queen's own knight so you better not do anything." Naofumi warned them.
"Oi, unlike you I have a dragon." Motoyasu said as a dragon came. "He can't beat anything -"
Bandersnatch pounced it and they heard crunches and screams.
Motoyasu looks back and saw his dragon was gone with Bandersnatch there. "Where's my dragon?"
Bandersnatch burped since it was full.
"Good boy." Naofumi gave it a thumbs up.
"How dare you?! We should kill that Beast!" Malty said.
Alice waves her hand and Malty felt dizzy making her spin around.
Naofumi and Raphtalia got surprised.
Many card soldiers came and they surrounded them.
"I am more calm to let this slide, so leave." Alice said.
Malty ran away scared with Motoyasu following her.
"Well that takes care of them." Naofumi said.
They saw Filo and Bandersnatch running around to win a race.
"It seems Filo wants to prove herself." Raphtalia chuckles.
Filo got determined before she grew surprising them and beats the Bandersnatch making it grunt.
"Wow, Filo got big." Naofumi as she smiles.
"It seems she grew trying to become stronger." Alice said.
Bandersnatch admitted defeat and throws a tooth at Naofumi's shield surprising him as ir becomes black with claws on both sides, this is the Bandersnatch shield.
"Oh it gave you a very special shield." Alice said.
"Yeah, also what did you do to the bitch?" Naofumi asked.
"Oh her, our kingdom has it's unique style of magic only known by the Royal Guard." Alice explained.
"Huh I see so you know some of it." Naofumi said and she nodded.
"Now let's go and fix any problems the village may have." Alice said.
They went foward and Naofumi stares at her, Alice looks back and smiles.
Naofumi noticed Raphtalia pouting. "What?"
"Nothing." She looks away.
Next day
Naofumi wakes up and he heard a sound, he looks foward and saw a blonde girl covered in a cloth.
"Hello master, it's me Filo." She smiles.
"What?! Filo!" He got shocked to see that.
Alice and Raphtalia came and they were surprised to see Filo like that too.
"So it is true." Alice heard legends about them.
Note: This chapter was more focused on Naofumi's group having Alice show them around and meeting the Bandersnatch, also she revealed she has special magic only known by her kingdom, let's say its based on Wonderland's strange nature, also I couldn't replace Filo, for asking about the Queen wait a bit she's still busy with the meetings.
