In the Kingdom of Liones, Meliodas and Elizabeth are walking to a pathway.
Elizabeth was holding Meliodas's arm, both smiling at each other, it's been two months since the defeat of the Demon King, the end of the Holy War and the defeat of Cath Palug, two months in an era of peace for Britannia, as the Seven Deadly Sins finally disband with their mission now completed.
However, today was a special day as the Seven Deadly Sins are having a reunion, so that they can catch up, eat, party and drink lots of booze. "It will be nice to see everyone again." Elizabeth said as Meliodas grins. "Yep." Meliodas replied as they walked. They then made it to the kingdom front entrance wall, it opens as two figures were at the other side, it was Ban and Elaine.
"Elaine! It is so good to see you again." Elizabeth said in enjoyment as the fairy flies over to hug her. "it's good to see you too, Elizabeth." Elaine replied, but they then see Meliodas and Ban stare at each other, it was a bit quiet for a moment, as Elizabeth and Elaine have no idea what those two are doing.
"BAN!"
"CAPTAIN!"
They then started to do some kind of bad Clapping game, as then Ban punch Meliodas, he then punched back at Ban, Elizabeth and Elaine watches, Elizabeth smiles awkwardly, as Elaine had an annoyed look of her face as she sighs.
Meliodas and Ban then started arm wrestling, their strength almost causing the floor to break as then Meliodas throw Ban's arm to the ground, winning the arm wrestling.
"Another win for me" Meliodas said. "Ah, you got me." Ban replied as Meliodas grins. "It's good to see you again buddy" he said. "Same here Captain." Ban replied, as then Meliodas looks around. "Hey, where's King and Diane? Aren't you and Elaine living in the Fairy King's Forest with them? Shouldn't they be with you guys?" Meliodas asked, as Ban blinked in confusion until he looked around, as he didn't realized that they're not here. "Huh, they were with us when we travelled here, I didn't even notice." Ban said.
"CAPTAIN! ELIZABETH!"
A female voice yell came as they turn to see two more people arriving, it was King and Diane.
"Ah, King, Diane, we were just talking about you guys." Meliodas said. "Yeah, where the hell did you two go?" Ban asked as King gets annoyed. "You and Elaine just took off to a different pathway and didn't notice!" King said as Elaine blush in embarrassment as she knew about it but never told ban, Until Gowther jumps in and struck a pose.
"Hey there Gowther" Meliodas said. "It's good to see you." Diane said as she smiles. "It's good to see you as well, all of you." Gowther replied, expressing is emotions on seeing his friends.
"Well, now that everyone is here. Let us party!" Meliodas said.
-Meanwhile-
A group of archaeologists is digging in a cave, there were eight people, four females and four males, as they find some ancient artefacts buried in the ground.
"Ok, let's keep on working, everyone. We'll take a break in an hour." the leader of the archaeologists, Hayden, said. Until Andrei and Ellen shows up. "Did you dig something up?" Hayden asked. "Yes, sir, we might have discovered something." Andrei said.
They then went in an entrance and discover a massive cavern with ancient giant sculptures along its walls. They then find a large circular disk set in the floor of the cavern.
"What is this? A trap door of some sort?" Felix asked, as one of them then step on it, then the ground rumbles as it activate a switch that open the trap door revealing some stairs.
-Meanwhile-
At a tavern, the Seven Deadly Sins are drinking, Elizabeth, Diane and Elaine are talking as ban is already drunk, Gowther smiles since he's a doll, alcohols does not affect him. "So, King, when's the wedding going to be?" Meliodas ask with a cheeky grin on his face.
"It's going to be five months." King replied. "You nervous?" Meliodas ask again as the fairy looked at him. "Of course not, I've been wanting this for a long time." King replied as well, as he looks at Diane.
"I'm really excited for this." Diane said. "I'm so happy for the both of you." Elizabeth said as Elaine nods in agreement. "I'm excited, too, to have you as my Sister-in-law." Elaine replied. "I just wish that Escanor was here to see it, or that merlin could come." Diane said as she smiles softly.
-Meanwhile-
The archaeologists went down the stairs leading to a giant door, its colour was split, one side black, and one side white, both side of the door had hexagon, one with the symbol of the demon race and the other with the symbol of the goddess race. Out of the door are two pictures, one of a skeleton like demon, with red eye and the other of a white angel with blue eye.
They all analysed the door as one of them looked at a keyhole. "Sir, take a look at this." Felix said as Hayden went over to look. "hmmmmmm, of course." Hayden said as he went to one of the boxes and took out an item covered by a light brown cloth, tied by a rope.
Hayden unwrapped it and took out a black and white key that looked to be the same size as the keyhole as everyone looks at it. "ummmm, Sir? What is that?" Natalia, asked. "This, is the reason we are here. I found this on an expedition, I did some research, and this key has been around for a long time." Hayden replied.
"Like, how long?" Jakub asked. "Well, it seems to be that this key and that door were made long before the first Holy War began 3,000 years ago." Hayden said.
Agnes then analysed both the key and the door. "Well, it looks to be made by two races." Agnes said. "Really? Which ones" Natalia asked. "Well, it's obvious from the symbols on the door, one half was made by the Goddess race. But the other half is confusing, as the other half is made by... the Demon race." Agnes said as everyone was confused.
"Wait, I thought the Goddess race and the Demon race were mortal enemies? Why would they make something together?" Vanessa asked. "well, whatever is inside that door? has something that the Goddess race and Demon race does not want anyone to find." Hayden said as he turns to look at the door, he then looks at the others, as they all agree to open it.
They then went to the door, as Hayden place the key in it as it the opens, they all work together to pull it. Inside was a dark room, they all went inside as Ellen took out an orb that then glows for them to see.
They then see Eight monster like statues. "What are these?" Jakub ask. "Don't know, but take a look at their designs, each one has a different look, see, they seem that each one of them have different Elementals." Agnes said. "So what are they then?" Vanessa asked
"Well, wouldn't you like to know." a female voice said, as all the archaeologist looked around until they noticed that one of them statues eyes are glowing green.
"Looks like we have some humans, four males and four female." a male voice said as another statues eyes are glows red.
"Indeed, perfect vessels for us." another male voice said.
"Everyone! Let's get out of here!" Hayden yelled as they all run to the exit, however the Eight statues are surrounded in aura, each one with a different colour of Red, Green, Blue, light Blue, Brown, Grey, Yellow and Black, as the statues captured the archaeologist as the floor start glowing, the archaeologist start screaming in pain, as the statues are then crumbling, then a beam shoot up creating a hole on the sealing of the cave and shooting in to the sky.
Everyone looked at the beam, from the Kingdom of Liones, to Fairy King's Forest and Holy Land Istar and Kingdom of Camelot as Merlin and Arthur notice, as the Seven Deadly Sins, Elizabeth and Elaine see the light at the window as they then when out the tavern to see. "What is happening?!" Diane asked. "I don't know, but I'm sensing strong power level from whatever location that beam of light is coming from." King replied.
"Hey Captain? Do you know what's going on?" Ban ask, but then he then notices that Meliodas had a confused and scared look on his face. "C-Captain?" Ban said, as everyone looked at Meliodas, as Elizabeth got concerned. "Meliodas? is there something wrong?" Elizabeth said.
"That's the thing... I have no idea what's happening." Meliodas replied with a scared tone of his voice.
-back at the cave-
All the archaeologist are on the ground, pass out, as then Andrei eyes open, as he then gets up and looks around, seeing that all the statues are destroyed. He then took a sit.
"Finally, we have returned."
