Hi, guys. Today I bring a new type of Mergana and Merthur story, where they will have to go Merlin, Arthur, Morgana, and Gwen to seek the Last Dragon Lord. Yeah, I know that in the series Morgana would be with Morgause, but this isn't the series, is it? So, the four will have to go to Balinor's cave. ¿What would happen if the four would go together? ¿They would know about Merlin's secret? Read, and you'll know. Enjoy.

I do not own Merlin

Merlin had already been warned that this could happen in the not too distant future. In the Crystal Cave, he had witnessed it, with hairs and signs, all about what might one day happen. And he hadn't done anything to stop it.

Actually, he hadn't had a choice. He couldn't have avoided it with all his faith. It was either that or his mother's life. It might seem selfish that he preferred his mother over all Camelot, but that wasn't the case either. He had sworn and promised the dragon for his mother's life that he would let go. And even if he hadn't sworn his mother's life, he had to live up to his word. He had promised to release him. And he had done it.

The image he witnessed was devastating: all Camelot, the city he supposedly should protect with all his soul, was burning for the dragon that had told him millions of times that his destiny was to protect that same city and, above all, to Prince Arthur. How ironic that the dragon that always spoke of his duty to defend Prince Arthur (what was basically defending Camelot) was burning what he had to protect. It was quite unfair for him to have to spend day and night protecting Arthur and Camelot from all evil, from the word of a talking dragon who said it was important to fulfill his destiny, the same dragon that then destroyed everything he had built. What a mess.

And worst of all, he didn't know how to stop it. He had spoken and reasoned to the creature, but he did not listen. He was thirsty for revenge, killing, and burning innocent people because of one man: Uther. And revenge often wasn't a good counselor. Merlin knew that well. But apparently, he was in his nature as a monster to destroy, burn, and kill, as he did not seem to feel bad or sorry for what he was doing. He was just thinking about the hatred he had on Uther and nothing else. He was only guided by that hatred whose goal used to be to kill. That made him blind to other things, like the factor of killing people who didn't deserve it.

No doubt Merlin would never understand Kilgarrah. He+ had always thought that even if they were different races and creatures, they were very similar. But he was wrong. Merlin would never do that. Never.

Now Camelot was burning because of him and had to do something. And fast.

This was only the prologue, so don't despair, it will be more. I know this was as in the series, but remember it is only to refresh and enter into the plot. In the next chapter, you will see more about the story. It will be a little story, about six, seven chapters, I don't know how much exactly. Also, I would like to say that English isn't my main language, so it's normal if I have a mistake. So, I will be delighted if you guys check out my stories and comment. Thank you, and see you later.
