After clearing War's name of treason, Death was sent to Thra by Heaven and he brought his family to help the gelflings. The gelflings were frightened of the skesis and of their demons, but they were formed a resistence and prayed for help.
Not reaziling that help will be in the form of the 4 Horsemen, Death, Fury, Strife, and War. Three gelflings had joined the resistince, Deet, Rian, and Beau. They knew that the skesis ere getting powerful due in part to the Dark Crystal.
But,also in part to their vast hordes of demons who fight without mercy and slay any in their path. Fizgig stays with Deet at alltimes. Due to her visions after her creatures had become sick and fought her.
She knew that it would be hard to fight the demon hordes of the skekesis until the 4 Horsemen arrived. Sent by Heaven of course, and foreseen by Deet in her vision after she ran to the Vision Tree.
Now, Deet is 5"12, which is two inches taller than other gelflinings. Meanwhile, as the oldest of the 4 horsemen and as siblings. death is 7"5 along with his two brothers and sister as well.

Once the demons were slaughtered, Deet went up to Death, sensing a kindred spirit in him. That night, the resistance leaders met the 4 horsemen while Fury helped the cooks and Strife helped the wounded. War was working with a few spear wielding gelflings while Deet sat beside Death.
Death told them all about his family's past and what he felt was right, although he still has nightmares. Rian and Beau were working with Strife but kep an eye on Deet as well. When one of the leaders asked,"Why are you and your family here Death?"
Death answered with,"I was tasked by Heaven to help you and yours against the hordes of demons that the skesis have. Whether my family came with me was up to me, and they all were to help me fight."
Deet asked, "May I ask you something Death? Why do you seem so guilt ridden? You seem so sad while the others give you space." Death sighed and told her,:Maybe at another time I will tell you Deet But not now." The gelfling nodded in understanding and this shall be the start of something more.
