(A/N: That is a lot of titles - but considering that Jaune fought at the Grimm War, is a Fairtale Character, and a unique person in DxD.)

Remnant: My old home and the world where I spent my first life. Do I miss it? Definitely, although I will never say that my old world was a bed of roses, however, thousands work so hard to make it the truly peaceful paradise where I raised Summer and Mulan. The only problems that the world has are not war or Grimm, but more community development said which Earth calls Third-world problems: Freshwater, education, and traffic. And First World problems.

Earth: My new home. Oh boy, it reminds me of my Remnant but to an extreme. Is a peaceful world with a shadow war going on? Check, but multiply that by the number of mythologies this world has! Brother Gods? Do you think they are crazy? Look up the affair or rape stories of Zeus and how his wife, Hera, reacted!

Faunus: I couldn't believe I am writing this; Faunus are humanoid people with animal features, but don't confuse them with the other species on earth like the Yokai or Minotaur, unlike those beasts the Faunus people are closer to humans; the only thing special about them is their night vision and some practical usage of their animal traits. (Note: I have no idea if the Faunus heat is a real thing. Neon was frisky, but that is Neon.)

Monsters

Mermaids: The model design from The Little Mermaid is accurate, a Human torso with a fish tail for legs, or a Faunus who has an extreme animal trait that of a fish. However, that kind of breed is rare, the common mermaids are giant fish, with humanoid legs and arms. Yes, I am serious.

Ahuizolt: From Aztec mythology, these beasts are like dogs but have human hands for paws and the end of their tail is another human hand. These things are monsters of trickery where they usually hunt fishermen and make sounds of a human in panic, usually a child, to bait humans into the deep dark sea. It also uses the corpse of its victims as props for its traps.

Beorning: These are a race of huge people who can turn into giant bears. They are mostly peaceful and they're their diet consists of honey and dairy.

Griffon: A lion with a head of an eagle and wings to allow it to fly. These beasts used to only hunt wild goats or animals in the mountains, but when agriculture became prominent in the north, they shifted to helpless cattle, pigs, and the occasional farmer. These things are more pests than the typical monster you read up about, and apparently, Earth's Griffon hunts alone and give out a screech to warn its victim to either give them a head start to escape or prepare for battle.

Yak: This is like the Ogre of the ASEAN nations, but stronger and has a knack for military discipline and skill: For me, these are not just mere monsters.

Magicians, Sorceress, Witches, and Wizards:

These guys are not monsters, in fact, it is more of a position or a profession, not a race. Technically a priest, angel, fallen, vampire, devil, or Martian (if those guys exist) can be a wizard or magician. The Monster Hunter Department does not hunt these folks because they are generally out of our league and Father Creston says that our gear is outclassed by their magic. Although Jeanne argued she can deal with them because of her Sacred Gear, it is better to be safe than sorry. Too bad I never mentioned to them that I hunted and killed Seasonal Maidens before.

Undead:

Vampire: Vampires are undead monsters who drink blood and are weak against sunlight, holy aura, and silver. The funny thing is that the term "undead" is used among the vampire faction to label their weakest member or kin. The Noble Vampire believes that he or she Transcends this category and is a superior race. These guys remind me too much of the White Fang. We also don't hunt them because they are plenty enough and smart enough to make a community and a faction, where diplomacy is required to deal with them instead of violence, but when violence is required, the Vatican usually sends a high-level exorcist.

Krasue, Leyak, Penangganlan, or Mananangal: A vampire subspecies which populates the ASEAN nations. But these monsters have an appetite for embryos so they primarily target pregnant women.

Eyeless Vampire: Probably a result of experiments, these are grey slimy monsters with vampire fangs, but lack the intelligence of a vampire and eyes, nevertheless, they are relentless and come in different sizes

Zombie: That is an umbrella term for corpses that turns into mindless monsters. Different cultures have their name for them, and they do operate differently, but they can be killed with normal weapons, and apparently, they are like melted butter to a silver sword.

Tuluys: The Southeast Asian equivalent of goblins, but they are also minions for dark mages. They look like children, only extremely pale rivaling the Schnees.

Dragonoids:

(A/N: The story has not mentioned or encountered them yet.)

Elementals

(A/N: The story has not mentioned or encountered them yet.)

Familiars

(A/N: The story has not mentioned or encountered them yet.)

Boundary Monsters

These are races where the line between a monster and an un-monster blur. By human standards, they are considered as one due to being not normal, but according to their biology, they are "natural" and have no weakness to silver.

Elves: (A/N: The story has not mentioned or encountered them yet.)

Dwarfs: (A/N: The story has not mentioned or encountered them yet.)

Yokai: These are the "monsters" of Japan. But in my experience, I see them as faunus with a high mastery of aura, like what most of the faunus from Mistral, are. Ofcourse there is the plentiful cautionary tales about them like the legend of Tamamo no Mae, but I will chuck these stories like the 'Heat Cycles' of faunus.

Giants: (A/N: The story has not mentioned or encountered them yet.)

Devils: The enemies of God and Heaven, and the children of Lucifer Morningstar. However, we the church know that these beings of Sin are more civilized nowadays; although they are still prone to evil deeds, it is honestly unfair to consider all to be like the devils of old.

Fallen: The outcast children of God by choice; these people are like angels, however, are "bad". Like the devils, they are more civilized nowadays and even outright help humanity and promote peace. I don't know if it is because of their Angelic side looking for harmony, or that these people really have grown as a race. Though I was told that their bodies are developed for lust.

Angel: (A/N: The story has not encountered them yet.)

Stray Devils: These are creatures who were reincarnated into devils and later kill or abandoned by their master, as a consequence, they are mutated into horrendous beasts due to an imbalance of demonic energy from their Evil Piece.

Vampire Stray Devils: Strays that later turned into vampires, they don't have over-the-top mutations, but this batch has unfortunately developed immunity to Holy Objects. At least Silver kills them

Pagan Gods: These are the gods that are not the God of Heaven. In a nutshell, basically, they are all the same race or breed as the Brother Gods of my world, but lack the power and might of God of Heaven.

Dragon: (A/N: The story has not mentioned or encountered them yet.)

God of the Bible: The most believed God in this world by the morals, and the most feared by the supernatural. Although I technically don't worship him, He has my utmost respect for the love and care he has towards everyone. But unfortunately, He is dead...

Weapons

Silver: Like the Holy Cross which killed Jesus, the pieces of silver given to Judas became a symbol of Christianity. It was a holy object and an iconography, but after the 4th Crusade, it mysteriously lost its holy power. But before that silver had many uses, from worshiping pagan gods to medical uses, and finally to killing monsters.

Only God knows why once silver particles are introduced to a monster's biology, it acts like a virus and attacks its cells, sometimes outright commanding the monster's cells to die. But unlike a virus, the immune system of the monster couldn't simply eat their introducers and will just die due to silver's toxicity.

Judas Argent (Silver Sword): Used to be the primary weapon of the church against its foes, but once it lost its Holy Aura, it was phased out because it is too soft to swing at huge and tough monsters and they are expensive to maintain. My sword is now forged with 5 silver coins from Judas. Does it give special abilities? I don't know yet, it just vibrates when it comes near a Holy Relic. (Author's notes: The sword is based on our real-world swords; this and light, unlike the DxD swords which all look so heavy and thick.)

Customized 1911: a classic gun I customized for hunting monsters, and I use silver bullets for it. It reminds me too much of Ren's Stormflower, I think I picked it up because of that.

Monster Hunter's Coat: The uniform of us hunters. It is a pure black coat, but mine has a red lining to symbolize Team JN(P)PR. My coat and vest are also twice as thick as the standard uniform for additional armor. It makes it look heavy but also frames my muscles quite nicely.

Holy Sword: The bane of devils or creatures of darkness. These things are extremely picky on who are the wielders, but the lesser Holy Swords are more open to most, well except for me that is.

Demonic Sword: The opposite of Holy Swords, but the catch is only a few can wield one not just because it is picky, but because its activity hurts the wielder. Only decedents of Sigurd, King of Warriors, could wield such weapons with a minimal drawback.

Holy Blacksmith: The Sacred Gear of my twin sister, Jeanne. It can make any holy sword made from any matter with any magical attributes. It is a step higher than lesser Holy Swords but depends on Jeanne's mana for it to exist. Her Balance Breaker is interesting.

Touki: The Fighting Spirit. It is so similar to Aura that people mistakenly think my aura is touki when it is not. Touki is the fighting spirit, literally the fighting spirit of the person who wants to fight no matter what. Aura is the reflection of who I am. The definition of our aura will vary from person to person while touki is static, yes maybe a person like Arslan has an aura that is basically touki because her personality is all about fighting.

White Phosphorus: A chemical like fire dust, but I think it is more frightening than fire dust with its ability to continuously burn things and can burn through almost anything. I am happy Remnant does not have this kind of stuff.

Church Grenades: Based on the technology of the ninjas of Japan, these are grenades the size of ping pong balls but pack the power of regular hand grenades; they lack shrapnel to protect the user but the force these can make will kill any target, be it a dummy or a live person.

Church Flashbangs: like the grenades these are based on the tech of ninjas, but each ball can outshine the military-issued flash bangs of any military, both in Earth or Remnant. I love these things

M16 with a grenade launcher: A rifle that is praised by many soldiers, human and ordinary as the supernatural merely scoff at guns. That will surely make Ruby and Coco angry at such prejudice, at least I averaged the human gun when monsters are left flabbergasted before they die by the said gun.

Remnant's Shield: A gift from the Cadre Bareqiel. This is a copper bronze heater shield with a compact form the size of a wallet. The thing is obviously based on Remnant Tech with its mech-shift capabilities. However, I have no idea what the material is made of from. The thing seamlessly sticks to my left sleeve and is surprisingly light, lighter than my first shield.

Aura's iPhone: It is an iPhone with a tin shine I was given which can detect the amount of Aura I have left in the tank.

Ascalon Spear: It is the sister weapon of the Ascalon Blade, but unlike its sibling, this weapon holds a draconic aura of a lost Dragon King. The power is similar to Durandal or Excalibur Destruction's but is dragon-based and colored Amber-Rust. I have to use Aura Amp to draw the power of the spear.

Aura Techniques

Aura: The light of my soul and the reflection of who I am. It is something that can be unlocked by another who has an aura, but apparently, I can't do it to the people of Earth. I can't forget the pout of Lint when I try to unlock hers, but no reaction happened. I just wondered why she blushed hard though.

Defensive: The first thing Huntsmen were trained for aura is to use it defensively. It is a forcefield with a health bar, however, it is not absolute. You have to actively command your aura to shield you when you fight, that is why students are trained to activate it subconsciously so that they don't have to put too much of their focus on that aspect, however, Huntsmen can still be hurt by a surprise attack, when they are drunk, or when they are asleep.

Remember when I mentioned a health bar? The moment our aura reaches the red zone, our protection is not guaranteed no matter how much focus we put on it in the defensive. Good think my aura reserves are larger than the average Huntsman.

Physical Attributes: Aura generally increases everything about your physical attributes just like Twice Critical, but instead of a static amount of improvement, you can hone your aura to a specific physical attribute. Ruby and Blake are fast, but Blake is more agile while Ruby relies on power to accelerate. Nora and Yang are strong, but Nora relies on brute strength while Yang needs a mixture of speed, strength, and reflexes for her fighting style. Weiss focuses on the usage of her semblance while Ren focuses on his connection with his aura. Pyrrha focuses on all the attributes I just mentioned but sorely lacked on defense attributes without her shield, which I focused on.

Offensive: This is the harder aspect of aura training. Except for offensive Semblances, using your aura offensively requires a lot of practice especially since you must project your aura outward while still being solid enough to hurt your opponent. The basic use of this is to coat your weapon with aura to make it sharper, this also protects your weapon from bending making weapons maintenance on the field rare.

However, experienced Huntsman can do an aura slash where they infused their blade with aura and slash a projection to their target. Qrow does it without effort, but Blake needs a lot of momentum and stamina to do the same damage as Qrow.

Ren's version is more of aura punches which surprisingly act like Ki strikes in this world, but only a handful can do this, namely Ren, Sun, Vine, Kali, Blake (to a lesser extent), and Arslan. Yang and Taiyang have their own version, but it is cruder and eats too much of their aura reserves.

Danger Sense: Pyrrha said that aura can make you feel like someone is watching you. That is an accurate way of describing this, but what is a pain in the butt is that it won't tell you where, what, how, why, and when the attack will be. You must use your observation skills, instinct, and experience to know when and where to dodge or block.

My classmates say that it is like Spiderman's spidey sense, I wish. So that I can be less paranoid and tank attacks less.

Semblance: The Balance Breaker of an Aura. It is dependent on the personality or reflection of the person's soul.

Aura Amp: This is my Semblance. It allows me to amplify the aura of others and to an extent, amplify their semblances too. It can also feel people with aura from near death. I can amplify my aura too which can recharge my 'health bar' and increase my physical, defensive, and offensive attributes.

I unlocked this aura to save Lint. Funny how my power only shows itself when someone I love is at death's door. I still wonder if I could have saved Pyrrha with it. It turned my once white aura, into the familiar gold. (If you are confused about this, in canon, Jaune's aura turned into gold from white when he saved Weiss.)

Tranquil: This is Ren's Semblance; it has the ability to manipulate emotions. In its basic form, it removes emotions from the target, but the more advanced ones are too complicated for me to even try. As of now, I can only use the basics of this power, but I have to use Aura Amp to draw access to it.

High Voltage: This is Nora's Semblance; it has the ability to convert electricity into pure brute strength. Although I used this power already, I cannot activate it in will like Tranquil.

Polarity: This is Pyrrha's Semblance; it has the ability to control metal, similar to Magneto's. But unfortunately like High Voltage, I cannot activate it in will. I believe I can only control Tranquil because my semblance mingled with it the most.

But on how I got these semblances, I do not know.

Notes about Remnant:

Ranking and Powers of people at their Prime using the power ranking of Devil Society.

Lie Ren: {Wizard, Techinique}: High-class, Extreme precision combined with his aura mastery.

Nicholas Arc {Technique, Power}: High-class

Arc Family (None fighters): Low-class

Adam Taurus {Technique, Power}: High-class; what I considered him after his first death by Blake's limited stories of him.

All persons except for Salem will increase a rank the moment I amplify their aura after I mastered my semblance. As you can see, unlike this world where people rely only on one trait, under specialize in multiple traits in order to survive. That is why I find Earth's power chart and analysis to be stupid; traditionally Sieg will be a Power-type because of his weapons, but I forced him to learn and refine his technique to the point he is one of the few people who is considered to be "abnormal" in his fighting style.

I made the mistake of boxing myself in the "support type" back in Remnant, but the Ever After taught me that I have to be more than that in order to survive.

All other teams are all high-class level. But unlike Earth's fighters who choose to fight 1v1, hunters choose to fight in teams. There is strength in numbers, Quantity has its own Quality. The entirety of Civilization vs. One Witch.

Note: Before the Fall of Beacon, the only Hunters to be considered High-class are the professors of Beacon, the Headmasters of the Hunter Academies, and the very few veteran huntsmen such as my dad, Qrow, and Hazel. Ozpin is the only Ultimate Class aside from the Maidens.

(A/N: This part will slowly add more items as more techniques are introduced to the story.)

(May 5, 2023, Author's Notes): To old readers of this story, please note that I made some changes in the story, and it is not a big change or me reckoning any detail, character relationships, conflicts, or fights. Aside from me cleaning the grammar of the story, I placed new subtle details about Jaune's appearance and his gear; this is in the spirit of the new meta-analysis of what is Canon! Jaune character is about in RWBY and the many allusions to him. If you are able to figure out what I am talking about, then know that it will affect his journey in DxD as a second life, and will help me better map out his growth. But will this change anything about the story so far? No, not really, aside from adding better visual characterization... and me tributing more of Monty's vision for RWBY.

To those who figured out what these changes are about, then it should give you a hint about Jaune's future gear. I know, some people say that Jaune now is too OP, but please remember that this is DxD. Power levels are just a concept, not a fact hahahahaha. But I don't what to make Jaune too OP. I want him to be capable and use his strengths properly... and Jaune of all people should know that running to an enemy too strong won't work, so he will never think to make Issei-style moves.

I removed the chapter which said so, so I will say it. The story has video games such as Witcher 3, God of War Ragnarok, Dark Souls... and now Jed Surviror in mind for the fights. There can be crazy fun fights but it also needs proper resource management and strategy.

Again, these changes do not affect the story so far... it only enhances Jaune's character, especially his visuals.
