The man found himself within a cage. He couldn't see much of anything, light barely came through the bars. He stood up from the ground and grabbed onto the steel bars. His hands magically phased through the bars, and the man stepped out. Outside was a dank, brick-paved hallway, gold racks were fixed on the walls, holding eldritch books and candles. The hallway went farther down, descending into stairs multiple times. The hallway finally reached an empty room, with only a table in the center. A candle, pen and ink, and paper were placed on the table. Runes of dark red ink were written on the paper, and the candle burned a bright blue flame. The man quickly walked out of the room, and through several others filled with prison cells. The cells were too dark to see through, but the man decided to rather not keep into them. He walked forward into more halls until he realized he hit a small balcony. It revealed a giant brick-made well, traversing too deep that the man couldn't see the end. Cages of something were pushed in the walls of the well, it moved and wailed in pain. Horror struck the man, he took another look at the cages and realized they were... terrarians.

The hundreds of terrarians all tried to crawl out of the cages as they screamed bloody murder against their will. He felt like throwing up at what he just laid eyes on, the putrid smell of rotting flesh and pools of blood intoxicated the room. A soft soul-piercing noise echoed behind the man, he stood up and quickly turned behind. The hallway he just walked out of moments ago was gone. Cracks formed through the walls. The well was also gone. Bricks fell out of their paved crevices. The entire area collapsed into a dark, cold void. The man felt his bones collapsing together, he could see flashes of blue and yellow sparks in the distance. The same noise grew and grew. 4 yellow eyes stood right in front of the man. They grew brighter and brighter until-

"..."

He found himself back in Kade's complex, laying softly on the glittering carpet. Bright daylight shined through the window curtains, he stood up and opened the covers. The potted plants shifted their positions and faced the window. He walked through the doorway leading into Kade's living room. It was full of more potted plants and windows, and a nice couch surrounded a fire pit and coffee table. The man walked up in front of the door and found a small tablet with a note on it written in blue light.

Head to the second floor's fifth complex for breakfast. See you there.

Though he hadn't eaten anything in the last 2 days, the man felt no sort of hunger. But still, he grabbed his blue cape (which Kade generously hung on one of the coat racks) and headed out. Many of the people glanced at the man pacing down the royal halls. A map was fixed onto the walls of the glass balcony that showed the levels and what one he was on.

Fifth floor

He strolled down to the many rows of stairs descending the floors and quickly climbed down each one. What did that dream mean? Did it mean anything? The man felt memories and visions forming the more he thought.

The 4 moons collapse within the brink of space and time.

Terraria will fall between scales of ancient restless souls.

He reached the 2nd floor where Kade told him to be. Directly in front of him was a restaurant, he walked in silently towards the restaurant. More of the people sitting within each table all stared at him walking down the lanes, trying not to pay attention to them. One of them stood up and shortly waved at him, and he immediately knew that was Kade. The man had never seen him without his armor. He wore a dark purple scarf and a deep blue coat with a teal shirt; but the cloth was tied around his head and eyes, blocking any sight.

"Morning. How're you doing?"

"Good"

"Uhm, can you…see through that cloth?"

"Oh, no I can't actually see."

Kade took out a small vial of yellow liquid that faded from orange to purple.

"This makes me have the capability of sensing my surroundings through detecting heat, it's complicated."

"..."

"Do you need anything to eat?"

"No… I'm good."

"..."

"Okay…suit yourself then."

"..."

"Y'know, If you're not hungry, I'll just pack my meal for later and we can just go."

"Go where?"

"Lord Yharim is awaiting our presence, I don't know why but we need to go."

Kade dragged the man out of the restaurant and toward a gold door engraved with that same dragon. Kade pressed a button on the side of the door frame and a ding ringed out. The door automatically opened and they hopped inside. The box they just went in shook just a tiny bit and then opened.

"What… just happened?" The man said,

"An elevator. Lifts you up to different floors."

The elevator led straight down some stairs and into another giant hallway. The floor was covered in a long blue and gold carpet and multiple marble pillars stood on each side. One guard stood at each of the several pillars, all facing forward and striking a stiff pose. The hallway led to a gigantic doorway, covered in a frame of golden metal engraves with more dragons. The room behind the doorway was pitch black as they stepped in. An eerie cyan glow blared at the end.

"So you finally came."

Lord Yharim snapped his fingers and each chandelier circling the roof blazed aflame, and he stood up from his throne.

They were standing in a rotunda, marble statues carved and placed in the crevices of the walls, and one giant door in each cardinal direction. In the middle were Yharim's leather blue and gold throne.

He was coated from head to toe with armor golder than any other raw metal, and a royal blue cape draped over his body. Yharim's head was adorned with a helmet with 2 pairs of rectangular horns and a mask with a glowing blue visor slashed in the middle.

"I've brought your new subject, as you commanded," Kade said.

"Yes, indeed you have."

"What do you need from him?"

Yharim took a long look at the man, his face, disfigured body, and his cape.

"..."

"I see the cult has still been manufacturing eidolon subjects, however, besides its human-like appearance, this one seems to have a strong hold on its own mental state, not just another mindless husk. Hmm...do you remember anything from your experiments?"

"I...I-" The man froze. Pain surged through him and ran down deep into his veins. "It's all a blur."

"Yes...I do believe those mutations would've twisted your brain. We will run further examinations of these specimens' origin in the future. Mason, you have the task to take care of him for now. All activity shall be contacted to me."

"Wait, what? But I-"

"Is that clear?"

"...Yes, your majesty"

The man didn't know what to feel after that. Confusion? Stress? His back ached more for no reason. It felt like his body was getting crushed by its own weight. His skin felt colder and colder and suddenly very warm. He looked down at his skin-torn hand.

The veins glowed a bright purple.
