Authors Notes- Well look what I have here. A Breakdown-centric fanfic. Because I am still upset over how they treated him in the show. Even if it WAS 10 years ago... And I'm rambling aren't I? Well, as you know I don't own Transformers Prime it is still owned by Hasbro. I only own the OC that will be making an appearance later in the story.
Now that we got that out of the way here is Chapter One of An Unlikely Friendship.
Chapter One.
It was quiet. Breakdown thought as he drove back to the base. His thoughts going back to what had occurred not even an hour ago. When Breakdown had been captured, and held captive at the hands of mere humans. A shiver running through his frame as he remembered lying there unable to move, as those parasites started to carve him up. Anger swelled in his chest plate as he remembered the one human, Silas was his name, looking down at him as his men did as he ordered.
Oh, how Breakdown had wanted nothing more than to break free of his restraints and rip that insect limb from limb. And oh, how he hoped he ran into him again down the road. Maybe then he would be the one seeing what made the human tick. And he would make him suffer as he did so.
But that wasn't what bothered him the most. What bothered him was who had come to his aid when he was in the clutches of MECH. He wasn't going to lie Bulkhead was probably the last 'Bot he ever thought would save him. But none the less he had been grateful for the green wreckers assistance even when Starscream had finally arrived on scene. And now here he was driving back to base conflicted. However, not because of what Starscream had said about having to choose sides but about the Autobots.
It was no lie there was bad blood between him and Bulkhead, and it was no lie that he hated the Autobots and he had more than once clashed with them time and time again. And yet... and yet they didn't think twice about saving him, why? That was the big question, wasn't it? Why not just leave him to die? What would they have gained by saving him? Sure, Bulkhead had no doubt wanted a rematch from their previous battle but the others? Breakdown had no idea. Once he reached the Decepticons base he made a beeline for the med bay. These conflicting thoughts still floating through his mind.
Little did he know was that things would soon change...
Authors Notes- Sorry that not only is this chapter super short but kind of meh. But I assure you things will most certainly get better. I just wanted to show how conflicted Breakdown was feeling. And despite that I hoped you enjoyed it. And with that this is Black Jack signing off. Have a good night.
