Call of Duty Ghosts Remake

FanFiction, Major Nomad here. This content is not meant to bash Infinity Ward. This is just to show what a remaster could be when the creators are not afraid to break the lore to make a more accurate and content-filled remake of Call of Duty: Ghosts. If made into another form of media, I recommend making it a well-made 3D animation series.

Good Lord, the original story was such a snooze fest. So generic and uninspired. Featuring cool-looking but uninteresting characters. Presented in a more intriguing but poorly explored setting. Facing a plot with so much filler and extremely low stakes. A brotherhood and family centered theme that was never gonna work because one key side of it is incapable of communication. All wrapped up in a totally undeserved cliffhanger ending. And worst of all, the lack, or even, complete absence of the most important element of any interesting narrative: conflict.

Yep, in my own personal opinion, it's a dumpster fire. I'm gonna need some time, maybe a pair of gloves and a good sense of creativity and direction to give this campaign a second chance. But I'm up for the job.

FYI: Part of the boring includes something I call "The Family at War Trope". Where a united family goes to fight in a massive conflict and everyone is in it together regardless of the speed bumps along the way. I believe that cliché has been done to death already. Sure, some did it pretty well, but the original Call of Duty: Ghosts campaign isn't one of them. I'm not gonna completely remove it, but I am going to heavily modify it into something that's for me to know and you to find out. So if you're looking for the same themes and direction from the original story but with just a little bit of polish, then this may not be for you. Which I understand.

For my gun nerd self, I will be using my knowledge in half of the guns presented here because they are new and/or deserving of more details. While the other half are already in the game with self-explanatory attachments. Hope you will still bear with me on that.
