Madison opened her eyes as the brightness was over. She looked around to see she was back at the bedroom at her grandmother's house. She was home. Well, second home because grandmother's is her home too. Everything looks the same except the laptop was glowing like before until it glowed down. Madison got a good look at the screen and what she saw were just the end credits.
Zor was still hanging onto her shoulder as he was watching the credits and then looked at his mistress. He chirped and purred to her attention and Madison smiled.
"Missed them already, huh?"
The Bearded Dragon sadly nodded but the felt his head being petted from his mistress's fingers.
"So, do I. But I do hope we'll see them again if it happens." she said and then Zor happily nodded.
Madison smiled more until she felt something warm. She now realized that there was still no air conditioner and she probably felt sweat dripping on her head.
"Better take you back to your den. Wouldn't want Nana to notice that your inside the house." she said as she quickly but carefully got off the bed and exit the bedroom.
She tiptoed quietly to the tv room and saw her grandmother, still asleep on the couch.
'Everything looks the same. Even Nana is still asleep.' she spoke in her thoughts.
Madison continued tiptoeing passed her sleeping grandmother and quietly exit to the front porch.
Once she's there, Madison reached to the den and placed Zor in.
"There you go." she spoke softly to him as gently putted him down.
The Bearded Dragon was happy to be back but then let out a yawn. He was actually tired from the adventure and went under the small log to sleep.
"Sweet dreams, Zor." she whispered to him and went back inside.
Madison was now in her room already, trying to cool down, and hoping the people would come back to fix the air conditioner. While she was sitting on her bed again, she looked at her surroundings, seeing everything looked the same. Pillows, her hairbrush, purse, laptop, and of course her satchel. Madison reached to her bag and looked to see that her book was in it. She let out a sigh and put her bag way.
She laid down on her bed, feeling a small coolness on her fan, and now thinking about her adventure she had. She touched necklace as she knew it changed back at Ahtohallan and not only that was the past of her necklace. Madison couldn't believe that the necklace was meant for her all this time and now the Witch of the East. This felt like a plot twist of something. She even smiled to see some familiar Disney figures from some movies she has ventured to and some from her childhood.
Suddenly, for a moment, something came to Madison's mind. She quickly got back on her laptop and came to the chatting zone. She spotted some of her friends online, quickly typed down about her adventure. Telling them where she has gone to and what she discovered about her necklace. Once she sent them, she got a lot of replies.
They were shocked and amazed to hear the adventure. Even some were super hyped about learning about the necklace's past back in Oz. Madison smiled to them. They always liked to hear her adventures and hopefully she'll ask one of them to come just like how she and Trysha on the previous adventure they did together. Suddenly, she saw a new post to one of her friends. Asking her what her next adventure be and wondering... if she'll ever get to see Alex again.
Madison placed her hand on her necklace, now thinking about Alex. She was now wondering if she'll ever get to see him again. She did remember from the letter that she and Alex will see each other again. Hopefully.
She quickly starts typing on her keyboard and replied to friend saying:
"I don't know. I don't what the next adventure be or if I get to see Alex. But I do hope that maybe someday... I will."
Once she was done, Madison clicked send and waited if there was a reply.
While waiting for her reply, Madison laid back down on her bed, closing her eyes as she felt the coolness from fan, but what she doesn't know was that necklace started glow. Knowing as a sign that her next adventure will be coming soon.
The End.
