Piermont refuses to believe what he was told and ordered the sole surviving representative to go back and find out where Eris is hiding and ordered him not to come back until he located her, though the sole surviving representative reiterated that what he is saying is the truth.

Seeing Ruijerd in the flesh, they recognize his heritage and they became fearful due to hearing rumors about Ruijerd's reputation, and the sole surviving representative and Piermont's right-hand man trembled in fear, too scared to make a move, though Piermont put up a brave face and tried to intimidate the approaching intruder, but Ruijerd spoke first and made his intentions clear that he is not pleased that there are more people who are planning to cause trouble for Eris and Rudeus, and there he told Piermont that he is to make sure that the two youngsters are left alone in peace but Piermont is defiant as he is determined to claim Eris as his PERSONAL PRIZE.
Ruijerd sighed seeing that Piermont is stubborn and decided to teach him a lesson so that he would get the message loud and clear so that he would stop his foolishness and leave Eris and Rudeus alone in peace.

With the guards dead as they were sliced into several pieces he approached the remaining three men who are currently outside the manor, and as he raised his blood-stained sword, Piermont's right-hand man and the sole surviving representative knelt down and begged for mercy, showing that they are a pair of cowards who only think of staying alive.

Still defiant, Piermont called forth more guards and after being given their orders they went after Ruijerd, and while they managed to make him fall back, he rebounded and fought back, which he systematically killed them off as the guards wailed in pain before succumbing to the attacks.

Piermont twitched his eyes as he couldn't find any leverage and is forced to swallow his pride and reluctantly agreed to Ruijerd's demands just to get him to lower his weapon and leave.
