Chapter 02: Clash of Celebrity Duelists! Link vs Pendulum

United World – Ryuga-Muto Residence

Yuya drove up to his house, well to be more precise, his manor. He had a big family considering he not only got a stepdad and a stepbrother, he also got Sugoroku as his grandfather and his four wives were also living with them as well.

"Good to be home." Yuya sighed. He had been away for a long time. A big dog and cat came running up to him.

"En! Core!" Yuya laughed as the dog and cat jumped on him and licked him. "I missed you both. Man, you've gotten so big."

Yuya entered the house. "Hello! I'm home!" Yuya called out as he entered the house with En and Core running ahead of him. "Mom? Dad?"

"We're in the kitchen, sweetie!" Yoko called out.

Yuya headed that way before he heard a giggle. He looked at the corner of the living room and noticed a strand of blonde hair creeping out. Yuya smiled before walking casually towards the corner. "Looks like only mom and dad are home today." The giggle got louder.

"Yes, that is definitely case." Yuya nodded his head. "Guess, I should put my stuff down in the living room and say hi to them." Yuya walked into the living room.

"Sneak attack!" A little girl with blonde hair and purple eyes hugged Yuya around his waist.

"Ah! You got me!" Yuya fell on the couch and the little girl climbed on his lap. "You're getting better Guardian Yumi."

"I have the best big brother to thank for that." The little girl was Yumi Muto, Yuya's little sister.

"The best…oh, I can't wait to rub that in Yugi's face." Yuya chuckled.

"Yeah, big brother Yugi is a simp." Yumi said.

"I am not a simp!" Yugi came into the room. He had gotten a little taller and gained a little muscle, but he was still shorter than Yuya despite being older.

"Oh, I met Anzu on my travels." Yuya pointed out.

"Anzu! How is she? Did she talk about me? Tell me you got a picture of her in a bikini?" Yugi quickly sat next to Yuya with a desperate look on his face.

"Simp!" Yumi sang.

"I'm gonna kill you!" Yugi started chasing Yumi around the house.

"Kids, I thought I told you to settle your problems with a Duel! We just waxed the floors!" Yuji scolded.

Yuya walked in the kitchen where Yuji was reading the paper and his mother was cooking. "Hey." Yuya hugged his mom.

"Hey, baby." Yoko hugged Yuya back and kissed his cheek. "Here's your mail." Yoko gave Yuya a bundle of envelopes.

"Oh man…" Yuya looked at the piles of mail. They were all invitations to Pro Leagues being sponsored by so many companies all over the world. "Geez, they're still not giving up."

"Pendulum is dying, son. The only way to reignite the people's passion for it is if the pioneer shows that it's able to deal with Link Summoning." Yuji said.

"I can't do a league right now, Dad. We finally found Genesis. Once she's taken care of then I'll…no I can't I have to focus on my children and the girls…oh my god the nursery! I haven't even started on it! And we still need the crib, we got to baby proof the house, I haven't even thought of names! Oh my god, the babies aren't even here and I'm being a horrible father—"

"Yuya, you're spiraling!" Yoko shook her son. "Calm down, you're not a bad father. You've been busy. We all understand."

"But it's not fair." Yuya said. "I've been away longer than I have been married to them. And if the babies come and…Genesis is still not defeated…I want to be there for them, but I also want them to be safe. They're not even here and I'm already screwing up on being a father."

"Hey!" Yuji spoke up in a stern voice and went to Yuya. "How can you possibly think that you are screwing up? You're trying to stop a dragon with divine powers because you want their future to be bright. You still take time from your journey to visit and show love to your wives and family. You're a good man, Yuya and you're becoming a better one every day. So, don't beat yourself up. And if things get tough, tell us, we're family and we will help you."

"Wow…I'm not used to being scolded…thanks…" Yuya smiled a bit.

"That's what I'm here for. Now go see your wives, they're waiting for you upstairs." Yuji patted Yuya on the back and he left the kitchen.

"And here I thought I couldn't fall for you even more." Yoko embraced Yuji. Yuji chuckled and kissed Yoko.

"Ew! Cooties!" Yumi gagged.

"Yeah, cooties." Yugi agreed.

Ryuga-Muto Residence – Nursery

Yuya entered the large nursery where he saw his wives conversing with one another. "Yuya!" The girls smiled happily as their husband came.

"Hey." Yuya ran to them and gave each of them a kiss. "How are you, how are the babies? Everything good?"

"We're fine, though I feel like I'm gonna pop." Yuzu admitted.

"I can't wait to meet you too." Yuya rubbed her belly.

"So, how was the journey? Did you find Genesis?" Ruri asked.

"Yeah, we finally found her. She's in Egypt." Yuya answered as he rubbed her belly next. "Atem is setting up an expedition to find her.

"When will that start?" Rin asked.

"It will be a while, but I think it will start a little after they are born." Yuya rubbed Rin's belly.

"Speaking of which, our brothers and friends came by and dropped off these boxes." Serena pointed to four boxes.

"Oh, what are those?" Yuya asked as he rubbed Serena's belly.

"They're gender reveal boxes. We asked them to look at our file at what kind of babies we'll have and they made one for each of us." Serena answered. "Now with you here, we can find out together."

"Oh man…this…this is a big deal." Yuya looked at the boxes. "I want to know, but at the same time I don't…"

"Hey, it's gonna be okay." Yuzu assured him. "You're gonna be a great dad to them. Just be you."

"Okay…okay…" Yuya nodded. "Alright, we'll go by order of dimensions. So, we'll start with the Standard."

"Can we call it Pendulum, instead?" Yuzu asked.

"Okay, the Pendulum Dimension." Yuya picked up the box.

"My dad, Futoshi, Ayu, Tatsuya, Gongenzaka, Sawatari and Reiji prepared it." Yuzu said.

"Even Sawatari and Reiji? Wow." Yuya was surprised that they would do this. "Okay…here we go…" Yuya and Yuzu opened the box together and inside was a bouquet of pink flowers.

"A girl…We're having a girl!" Yuzu started to cry.

"A baby girl…" Yuya smiled.

"My turn! My turn!" Ruri got her box. She and Yuya opened it and inside was a single egg.

"An egg?" Yuya took it out. He then noticed a line going around it. He opened the egg and inside was a yellow toy bird with a pink ribbon on its tail.

"We're getting a girl too!" Ruri got excited.

"Okay, my turn!" Rin got her box. She and Yuya opened it and inside was a model racetrack with a D-Wheel.

"I guess we push the button." Yuya pressed the start button and the D-Wheel raced around the track and as it raced, it unfurled a green banner with blue lettered words that read. 'It's a boy.'

"A boy! We're getting a baby boy!" Rin smiled.

"I'm gonna have a son…" Yuya covered his mouth.

"And last but not least." Serena got her box. She and Yuya opened her box and inside was a purple baby chandelier that hangs over a crib with an astronaut and spaceship with letters rotating around. "B…O…Y…"

"Yes! I wanted a baby boy!" Serena smiled as she hugged Yuya.

"Two girls…two boys…" Yuya smiled.

United World – Maiami City

"Hm…" Yuya was scratching his head as he wrote down notes on his notepad. "If I dote on them too much, they'll expect me to get them out of their messes. But if I don't give them enough attention, they'll think I don't care about them."

"Daddy's little girls doesn't sound too bad…but that might make it seem that I favor them over my sons." Yuya scratched his head.

"They might not want to Duel as a career, so I got to get some extra skills, but what do they want to be? A chef? A doctor?" Yuya groaned before he screamed in frustration and his papers flew everywhere.

"Gah! This is too much!" Yuya screamed. "I know Dad said that I don't have to this alone. But I can't appear weak before my own kids."

"Well, this is big news. The Pioneer of Pendulum is gonna be a daddy."

Yuya blinked before he turned around and he saw a tall man with a bulky body. He was wearing a yellow and gold outfit that made him look like a wrestler. He was carrying a bunch of boxes that were wrapped like presents and one of Yuya's papers was in his face.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, sir." Yuya removed the paper.

"Don't worry about it. It's understandable to be like that." The man chuckled.

"Wait, I've seen you before. In Link VRAINS, you're one of those celebrity Duelists, uh…" Yuya recognized the man.

"The name is Go Onizuka." Go introduced himself.

"Right, Go Onizuka!" Yuya remembered. "Yeah, your comebacks are amazing! You're the number one Celebrity Duelist in all of Link VRAINS."

"You flatter me, Yuya Ryuga." Go said. "However, I cannot consider myself the best, yet. It is true that I have defeated multiple Duelists that have used different summoning methods, but I've never defeated Pendulum. In fact, I think this is a good opportunity for both of us."

"Oh, I'm sorry, but I can't Duel. I have to prepare a lot of things and—" Yuya was silenced as Go picked him up by his jacket.

"Don't worry, where we're going is gonna help you in the long run." Go walked as he carried Yuya.

"Uh, I have two feet, okay! I can walk!" Yuya argued but Go kept carrying him.

United World – Den City

"Why are we here in Den City?" Yuya asked. "If you want a Duel, we could've just done where we were."

"But where's the fun with the Duel just being between us. Our Duel is something that should be shared for everyone. But first, I had to make a delivery and you're gonna help." Go passed some boxes to Yuya.

"Geez, what did you put in these?" Yuya grunted.

"Now, let us make haste!" Go walked forward.

"Geez…" Yuya grumbled but he followed Go.

They soon made it to a building where there was a rainbow gate and gave off a childlike vibe. "This is…"

"It's Mr. Onizuka!"

"Go Onizuka!"

"The hero of Link VRAINS!"

Soon multiple children all rushed out of the building and to Go. "Hello, everyone. I've brought presents and new friend. Everyone, meet the legendary Guardian of the Dimension War, Yuya Ryuga." Go introduced Yuya.

"Oh, wow!"

"It's really him!"

"Two heroes in the same place!"

The kids gathered around Yuya. "H-Hey…" Yuya was getting overwhelmed.

"Don't worry, they won't bite." Go assured Yuya.

"Uh…here you go." Yuya handed a teddy bear to a girl.

"Aw, he's so cute! Thank you." The little girl thanked.

"Y-Yeah…" Yuya gave a warm smile. "Here, I got more for everyone." All the kids accepted the gifts and their smile made Yuya feel good.

"It feels good, doesn't it?" Go approached Yuya.

"That feeling of making them happy, it makes you happy. Even the tiniest acts of affection and love can make a huge impact on children." Go looked at the smiling children.

"I…I don't want my children to have the same kind of childhood that I had. I want to give them everything that I never had." Yuya admitted.

"You will be a great father and if they're your kids, they'll understand anything you tell them. Don't stress about it too much." Go advised.

"Go…let me repay you with a Duel." Yuya said.

"That's just what I want to hear, but let's do it in Link VRAINS." Go smiled.

Den City – Onizuka Training Warehouse

"This is the room where you can log into Link VRAINS. You can also find a guidebook on how Duels work in VRAINS." Go's manager advised.

"Thank you." Yuya stepped into the room and the door closed behind him. "Link VRAINS…this is my first time." Yuya took out his deck. "Well, let's see what this world can do."

"Deck set!" Yuya inserted his deck into Hero's Honor. "Into the VRAINS!"

Yuya felt himself dive into the world of Link VRAINS and his attire started to change. His outfit changed to a blue and black outfit with a symbol of a shield and two swords crossing on his chest. He also had a belt, gloves and boots.

"So, is that the official uniform for the Dimension Guardians?" Go was waiting for him.

"In a way." Yuya commented. "So, how shall we do this? I heard there are two kinds of Duels in this world."

"Yeah, there is Master Duel. It's basically the same as a regular Duel in the real world, but our Life Points will be 4000. Then there's a Speed Duel, an intense Duel for only the best." Go smiled.

"Then, it's clear what we have to do!" Yuya ran forward and jumped in the air and a board shaped like Odd-Eyes appeared below him.

"That's what I want!" Go got on his board and chased after Yuya. "Let's do this, Yuya Ryuga!"

"Speed Duel!" Yuya and Go declared.

"In a Speed Duel, both players start with only four cards in their hands. Furthermore, the monster and Magic/Trap Zone are reduced from five to three, but there's an Extra Monster Zone where we can place our Link, Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Monsters on there. But for Pendulum…" Yuya looked at his field.

"There's no Pendulum Zone, in order to use Pendulum, you have to use up two of your Magic/Trap Zones, meaning I would have to only use one Magic or Trap card." Yuya thought. "But Speed Duels have another trick to them."

"I'll start this Duel! My turn!" Go looked at his hand. "From my hand, I summon Gouki Suprex (ATK: 1800, LV: 4)!" A warrior in blue armor appeared on the field.

"When Suprex is summoned, I can Special Summon a Gouki from my hand! I play Gouki Twistcobra (ATK: 1600, LV: 3)!" Go summoned a green armored warrior.

"I end my turn!" Go finished his turn.

Yuya LP: 4000, Hand: 4

"My turn! Draw!" Yuya drew his card. "Using the Scale 2 Oafdragon Magician and the Scale 8 Timegazer Magician, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya placed his cards in the left and right Magic/Trap Zone slot.

"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 3 to 7! Swing, Pendulum of my soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether!" A digital pendulum swung back and forth before swinging in a circle to open a portal.

"Dragonpulse Magician (ATK: 1800, LV: 4, PS: 1)! And with your wondrous and beautiful dichromatic eyes, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7, PS: 4)!" Yuya summoned his magician and ace monster.

Maiami City – Ryuga-Muto Residence

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have an exciting Duel happening in Link VRAINS! We have the number one Celebrity Duelist, Go Onizuka facing off against the legendary Pendulum Duelist and Dimension Guardian, Yuya Ryuga!" An announcer put Yuya and Go's face on the screen.

"Hey, Big Brother Yuya is Dueling!" Yumi cheered.

"He's in Link VRAINS?" Yugi was confused.

"I've heard of this man; he specializes in counterattacks against his opponent." Rin recognized Go.

"So, he's just like Yuya." Ruri said.

"Oh…" Yuzu gasped.

"What's wrong, Yuzu?" Serena gasped.

"The baby kicked." Yuzu smiled. "Do you want to see your daddy Duel?" Yuzu looked at her stomach.

Yuya vs Go

"So, it's a two-on-two battle." Go smirked.

"Not quite. From my hand, I activate the Magic Card: Odd-Eyes Fusion! I fuse Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon with Dragonpulse Magician!" Odd-Eyes and Dragonpulse went inside the spiraling vortex.

"Magician with mysterious power, become dazzling light and dwell in the eyes of the dragon! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Arcane dragon wielder of ancient magic! Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (ATK: 3000, LV: 8)!" Yuya summoned Rune-Eyes.

"A Pendulum Summon into a Fusion Summon…interesting." Go smiled.

"Battle! Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, attack Gouki Twistcobra! Unending Shining Burst!" Rune-Eyes gathered power from the ring on its back and fired a blast at Twistcobra, destroying it and damaging Go.

Go LP: 4000→2600

"Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon's effect is determined by the Level of the Spellcaster-type monster that was used to Fusion Summon it. Dragonpulse Magician was Level 4, so Rune-Eyes is allowed to attack twice during each Battle Phase! Go! Attack Gouki Suprex! Unending Shining Burst!" Rune-Eyes attacked once more and destroyed Gouki Suprex, further damaging Go.

Go LP: 2600→1400

"Not bad…but don't think you're ahead of the game! I activate Twistcobra's and Suprex's Monster Effects! When they are sent from the field to the Graveyard, I can add one Gouki card from my deck to my hand!" Go added two cards to his hand.

"That's weird, he could've used Twistcobra's effect to increase his monster's Attack Points above Rune-Eyes to prevent me from attacking. What is he planning?" Yuya thought.

"At this moment, I activate my Skill!" Go revealed.

"A Skill?!" Yuya's eyes widened.

"Yes, my Skill is called Fighting Spirit! I Special Summon all of the Gouki monsters that were destroyed in battle this turn! Return! Gouki Suprex (ATK: 1800, LV: 4)! Gouki Twistcobra (ATK: 1600, LV: 4)!"

"So, that was his plan, he wanted me to destroy his monsters so he could get more Gouki cards into his hand and then bring them back later using his Skill. He has more cards in his hand than me, now." Yuya thought.

"I end my turn!" Yuya finished his turn.

Yuya LP: 4000, Hand: 0

"My turn! Draw!" Go drew his card. "If all monsters on my field are Gouki monsters, I can Normal Summon without releasing! Come! Gouki Rising Scorpio (ATK: 2300, LV: 5)!" Go brought out a warrior dressed as a scorpion.

"Appear! My circuit!" Go pointed to the sky and a gate appeared. He flew through the gate along with his monsters. "Arrowheads confirmed! The summoning conditions are at least two Gouki monsters! I set Suprex, Twistcobra and Rising Scorpio in the Link Markers! Circuit Combine!" The monsters went into the lower arrows.

"Link Summon! Appear! Link 3! Gouki the Great Ogre (ATK: 2600, LNK: 3)!" Go summoned a stronger warrior in black armor.

"How's that? Do you like my Dueling?" Go admitted.

"It is impressive." Yuya admitted.

"From going from the field to the Graveyard, I add more Gouki cards from my deck to my hand!" Go added three more cards. "Also, when The Great Ogre is in the Monster Zone, all faceup monsters lose Attack Points equal to their Defense Points!" Go revealed. "Ogre Pressure!"

The Great Ogre released a roar and it lowered Rune-Eyes's Attack Points.

Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (ATK: 3000→1000)

"Next from my hand, I activate the Magic Card: Gouki Rematch! This Special Summons two Gouki monsters in my Graveyard with different Levels in Defense Position! Return! Rising Scorpio (DEF: 0, LV: 5)! Twistcobra (DEF: 0, LV: 5)!" Go brought back his two monsters.

"I activate Twistcobra's effect! By releasing Rising Scorpio, Great Ogre gains his Attack Points until the end of this turn!" Rising Scorpio disappeared and Great Ogre gained power.

Great Ogre (ATK: 2600→4900)

"Next, I discard Twistcobra from my hand to Special Summon Gouki Headbutt (DEF: 0, LV: 2) in Defense Position!" Go summoned a warrior in purple. "Due to Headbutt's effect, Great Ogre gains 800 Attack Points until the end of this turn!"

Great Ogre (ATK: 4900→5700)

"I set one card! Behold, this is my counterattack!" Go smiled at Yuya.

"If this attack goes through, I lose the Duel. I have only one option left." Yuya thought. "I activate my Skill! Gutsy Guardian!" The insignia on Yuya's chest glowed and a shield was produced in front of him. "With this, battle and effect damage are reduced by half for the rest of this turn!" Yuya said.

"Battle! Great Ogre, attack Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Ogre Axe!" Great Ogre raised his axe and unleashed a powerful blast that destroyed Rune-Eyes and made Yuya lose his balance.

Yuya LP: 4000→1650

"After damage calculation, I draw one card for every 1000 points of damage." Yuya grunted. "I draw two cards!" Yuya drew two cards.

"I end my turn!" Go smiled.

Maiami City – Ryuga-Muto Residence

"And just like that, Go Onizuka has turned the tide of the Duel in his favor. It seems that Pendulum is no match for the mighty Link Summon!" The announcer stated.

"Come on, Big Brother Yuya! Don't lose!" Yumi cheered.

Ruri, Rin and Serena let out a little gasp as they felt a kick. "Looks like they want to cheer too." Ruri smiled.

"Don't worry, your daddy will win." Rin rubbed her belly.

"He won't give up." Serena smiled.

"So, cheer for your daddy." Yuzu felt another kick.

Yuya vs Go

Go LP: 1400, Hand: 3
Yuya LP: 1650, Hand: 2

"That was a good counterattack." Yuya admitted. "Now, it's my turn! My turn! Draw!" Yuya drew his card.

"So, what will you do? You're Pendulum Summon now has restrictions!" Go pointed out. "You can only summon one Pendulum Monster from the Extra Deck; you cannot stall with a wall of monsters!"

"I'm not gonna stall! I'm gonna win this Duel!" Yuya declared. "I activate Oafdragon Magician's Pendulum Effect! When I have a Magician monster in my Pendulum Zone, I can add an Odd-Eyes or Magician monster from my Extra Deck to my hand! I add Odd-Eyes to my hand!" Yuya got Odd-Eyes back in his hand.

"I see, he can summon as many monsters as he wants from his hand, that's why he added his ace from the Extra Deck." Go realized.

"Next, I Normal Summon Odd-Eyes Treasure Hunter (ATK: 1700, LV: 4, PS: 5)!" Appearing was a woman with long dark brown hair with dichromatic eyes wearing a treasure hunter outfit with multiple pockets on her vest, short shorts and pickaxe in her hand.

"Odd-Eyes Treasure Hunter's effect activates! When this monster is summoned while I have a complete Pendulum Scale, I can add one Magic or Trap card from my Graveyard to my hand!" Treasure Hunter raised her pickaxe and slammed it into the ground. "I add Odd-Eyes Fusion back to my hand!"

"Another Fusion Summon?" Go questioned.

"That's right. I activate Odd-Eyes Fusion! I fuse Odd-Eyes Treasure Hunter along with Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon in my hand!" The two monsters went into the spiraling vortex.

"Wait, he's not gonna Pendulum Summon Odd-Eyes first?" Go was confused. "If they're not on the field, they go to the Graveyard like any other monster, what is he planning?"

"Huntress of legendary treasure! Dragon with dichromatic eyes! Become one and give birth to a new life! Fusion Summon! Appear! Courageous dragon with burning eyes of honor! Brave-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (ATK: 3000, LV: 8)!" Yuya summoned a new Fusion Monster.

"I've never seen this dragon before. Great Ogre's effect! Your monster's Attack Points are lowered by their Defense Points! Ogre Pressure!" Great Ogre let out a roar.

"When Brave-Eyes Pendulum Dragon is Fusion Summoned, all monsters on my opponent's field have their Attack Points reduced to 0!" Yuya revealed. Brave-Eyes unleashed a fiery tornado.

"What?!" Go gasped.

Both monster effects went through, making each side weaker.

Gouki the Great Ogre (ATK: 2600→0)
Gouki Twistcobra (ATK: 1600→0)
Gouki Headbutt (ATK: 800→0)

Brave-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (ATK: 3000→1000)

"Brave-Eyes's other effect! It's Attack Points increase by 100 for every monster whose Attack Points was changed to 0!" Yuya revealed.

Brave-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (ATK: 1000→1300)

"So, that was your plan! But how about this! I activate the Continuous Trap: Gouki Tag Support! I send two Gouki monsters from my hand to the Graveyard and add their Attack Points to Great Ogre! I choose Gouki Suprex and Gouki Rising Cobra from my hand! 2300 plus 1800 is 4100!" Go made Great Ogre stronger than before.

Great Ogre (ATK: 0→4100)

"That was a good plan you've got there, but I just thought one step ahead of you." Go smiled.

"That's why I planned two steps ahead." Yuya smiled.

"What?" Go questioned.

"Pendulum Summon! Revive from the Extra Deck! Dragonpulse Magician (ATK: 1800, LV: 4, PS: 1)!" Yuya brought back his dragon.

"Next, from my hand, I activate the Magic Card: Pendulum Grave Curse! By releasing a Pendulum Monster that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, I can negate the effects of all Special Summoned monsters on my opponent's field! I release Dragonpulse Magician!" Dragonpulse Magician disappeared and Yuya's Magic Card negated Great Ogre's effect. "With Great Ogre's effect negated, Brave-Eyes' Attack Points increase!"

Brave-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (ATK: 1300→3300)

"But! Great Ogre is still stronger!" Go pointed out.

"From my Graveyard, I activate Pendulum Grave Curse's other effect! By banishing this card from my Graveyard, I can Special Summon a Pendulum Monster in my Graveyard and lower one monster's Attack Points on my opponent's field by that Special Summoned monster!" Yuya revealed.

Go's eyes widened. "That's why he didn't Pendulum Summon Odd-Eyes back then. He intended to put it in the Graveyard!" Go realized.

"Revive! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7, PS: 4)!" Odd-Eyes returned. "Now Great Ogre loses 2500 Attack Points!" Great Ogre got weaker.

Great Ogre (ATK: 4100→1600)

Go looked at his monster before he smiled. "Well done, Yuya Ryuga! You have proven that Pendulum is still an important aspect in Duel Monsters! Now come!" Go opened his arms. "Finish this Duel! With your counterattack!"

"Go Onizuka…" Yuya smiled. "The counterattack starts now!" Yuya shouted his catchphrase.

"Let's go! Brave-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, attack Gouki Great Ogre! Burning Mega Flame Burst!" Brave-Eyes unleashed its breath attack.

"Let's go! Great Ogre! We're going out fighting! Ogre Axe!" Go shouted and Great Ogre charged towards the flames.

Great Ogre tried pushing through the flames to get towards Brave-Eyes, but Brave-Eyes was just too powerful and Great Ogre was blown away and destroyed. Go smiled as he accepted the outcome.

Go LP: 1400→0

Maiami City – Ryuga-Muto Residence

"And it's over! With a clash of counterattacks against one another, the Duel between Charisma Duelist and Dimension Guardian comes to an end with Yuya Ryuga's victory!"

"Alright, Big Brother won!" Yumi cheered.

The four girls felt more kicks and they smiled.

"My complete defeat." Go admitted. "But it was a fun Duel. Thank you, Yuya Ryuga." Go extended his hand.

"Thank you, Go Onizuka. For everything that you've done for me today." Yuya accepted his hand.

"If you're ever up for a challenge, I'll be here." Go offered. "I'm also rooting for you to defeat Genesis."

"You know about Genesis." Yuya was surprised.

"Everyone who knows about the Dimension War knows that she was the one who made it all happened. Some people think she's no longer a threat, but I'm not. A dragon that once had divine power isn't something we should brush off. Especially if it threatens the future of the children." Go said.

"You're right." Yuya agreed. "I'll fight for my kids…and for the other kids as well."

"You can count on me as an ally." Go extended his fist.

"I'm counting on you." Yuya extended his fist and the two bumped.

From on top of a rooftop, a girl with long blue hair looked down at Go and Yuya. "So, that's the legendary Dimension Guardian." A blue computer program came out of the girl's Duel Disk.

"Yeah…" The girl answered.

"I have to admit, his Pendulum Summon is amazing, but it's use has become seriously limited as of late." The computer program said.

"It doesn't matter if its limited, he can still fight at his full power no matter the opponent. He's the type of Duelist that I want to be." The girl looked at Yuya.

"But Aoi, you're brother…" The program looked at her.

"Aqua…when you love something or someone, you would do whatever you can to protect them. My brother has always sacrificed a lot for me. Now it's my turn." Aoi looked at her deck.

"Are you sure about this?" Aqua asked.

"Yes…I want to be a Dimension Guardian." Aoi declared.

Maiami City – Ryuga-Muto Residence

Yuya was writing down on his notepad at his desk when his wives came in. "Hey, Yuya. It's late. Let's go to bed." Yuzu said.

"Right." Yuya turned off the lamp and joined them.

On his notepad were four names written on there. Yuka, Yumiko, Yukio and Yusaku.
