Ch. 6: Back to the first dimension

We welcome you to the first dimension of Phineas and Ferb. This is definitely a weird one.

First-Dimension Danville:

Doof-Norm, I'm tired of this!

Dr. Doofenshmirtz had just had his latest plan to take over the Tri-State area foiled by none other than Perry the Platypus; after his latest inator was destroyed by the aquatic mammal.

Doof-No matter what I do, now matter how long I spend building these inators, coming up with these plans to take over the Tri-State area, it never works!

Norm-I'm sorry sir

Doof-I feel like there is just no way I can do it in this world

Norm-What do you mean sir?

Doof-I want a new world, new dimension, new space; that I can take over without Perry the Platypus coming in and ruining it!

Norm-If only there was someway to make that happen

Doof-That's it! Norm, we just need to get to another world, another dimension to take over. The whole "other world" thing probably isn't going to happen Norm, so maybe we make a way into another dimension!

Norm-And how do you plan to do that sir?

Doof-I'll call it, the other-dimensionator!

Buford-Oh yeah! Buford loves this!

The kids had just created a device that gives them the ability to fly! Buford insisted on getting his powers first and flew circles around the giant oak tree in the boys' backyard.

Isabella-My turn!

Isabella got hit with the ray followed by Phineas, Baljeet, and finally, Ferb

Phineas-Come on guys, let's fly around Danville!

The kids followed Phineas and soared for downtown Danville. The group flew past the Googleplex Mall and right over City Hall before spotting a weirdly shaped building.

Phineas-Guys, check out this building!

The kids stopped what they were doing and just hovered over the town and stared at the purple building.

Baljeet-Am I the only one who thinks that kind of looks like Ferb's head?

Isabella-No, definitely not

Baljeet-Oh, that is a relief. I thought I was going crazy

Phineas-Let's go check it out

The group flew up to the building before spotting someone standing on top of a balcony. Phineas led the group over to him before speaking to the man

Phineas-Hi there, aren't you a little warm in that lab coat?

Isabella was the first to notice that the man's head was shaped similarly to that of Phineas, but she chalked it up to coincidence

Doof-No, not really. Hey now, how are you kids flying?

Phineas-We built a machine that gave us the ability to fly. Well, temporarily.

Doof-You kids built a machine to fly?

Phineas-Yeah! It's pretty cool, isn't it. I'm Phineas, by the way.

Phineas proceeded to point out the other kids and introduced them individually to the man.

Doof-My name is Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, but you kids can just call me Dr. D. You kids should come see the machine I've been working on.

Phineas-Ok

He was about to follow Doof into his apartment before he was grabbed from behind.

Buford-Dude! Do you really think we should be following this guy in here? We don't know the guy!

Phineas-Buford, he's just a pharmacist. Besides, I wanna see the machine.

Phineas landed on the balcony followed by Isabella and the other boys while Buford reluctantly joined them.

Doof-Behold! The other-dimensionator!

Phineas-The other-dimensionator? What does it do?

Doof-It takes you to other dimensions. I simply pull down on this lever and voila! The portal opens to a whole new reality!

The machine shot out a portal and the image showing on the other side appeared to be a city identical to Danville!

Isabella-It looks just like Danville!

Baljeet-Is it safe Dr. Doofenshmirtz?

Doof-Of course it is!

Doof proceeded to step through the portal. After getting all the way through, he turned and waved for the kids to come on through.

Doof-Come on everybody, I think it's Danville!

Phineas was of course the first through followed closely behind by Ferb and Isabella. Buford came through next and finally Baljeet.

Doof-Here kid, take this.

Doofenshmirtz handed Phineas a device that looked to be an old TV remote.

Doof-This portal won't stay open forever, so these remotes open the portal right back up. Just push down the green button on the side of the remote and point it where you want the portal to appear.

Phineas-Awesome, thanks!

Doof-Well, I don't know about you kids but I think I'm going to take a walk towards City Hall.

Phineas-Alright then, see you later!

Isabella-Thanks again, Dr. D!

Doof-No problem

Doofenshmirtz walked off towards City Hall to see what was going on in this second-dimension Danville he found himself in.

Phineas-If we're really in Danville, we should be able to find our street and find us!

Baljeet-Oh boy, I can not wait to meet another Baljeet!

Isabella-This will be fun!

The kids embarked on their new-found goal and walked down Jefferson Boulevard. They're earlier acquired flight powers don't seem to work in this dimension, which was quite inconvenient as the kids wanted to rush to their second dimensional homes.

Buford-So in this other dimension, is everything the same?

Phineas-I don't know, Ferb?

Ferb looked over at Baljeet who also shook his head as inter-dimensional travel was not one of his many commonly studied topics.

Isabella-If it's not all the same, I wonder how big the changes are.

The kids finally turned onto Getz road where they saw some familiar houses.

Buford-That's my house!

Isabella-Are those girls who I think they are?

Second-dimension Buford and the Fireside Girls ran up to the group of kids.

Gretchen-Chief! You're ok!

Isabella-Of course I'm ok.

Second Dimension Buford-How'd you guys get out? Where's your suits? Where's Candace?

Isabella-Get out of where?

Second Dimension Buford-Of Doofenshmirtz's building

Phineas-I think we have a misunderstanding. Us five are from a different dimension.

Adyson-So you didn't escape?

Phineas-No

Milly-Which means everyone is still trapped up there!

Baljeet-What do you mean trapped?

Second Dimension Buford-Long story short, there's this guy named Heinz Doofenshmirtz who's taking over the Tri-State area as we speak. In this world, apparently, Perry is a secret agent and was sent to stop Doofenshmirtz. After Phineas found out about that we all went and tried to rescue Perry. I got away but the others weren't so lucky.

Buford-Holy shit

Phineas-We came to this dimension with a guy named Heinz Doofenshmirtz. He made the machine that brought us here, but he's just a pharmacist, why is he trying to take over the Tri-State area?

Second Dimension Buford-He's not a pharmacist, he's an evil scientist!

Buford-I knew I didn't trust that guy!

Second Dimension Buford-And if they try to join forces…

Buford-We'll have to take them both down.
