Back in the Lair.
Raph burst the Door Open to his Room as He came Out Running and Screaming,With Leo and Mikey,Close Behind,Running after Him.
"Get Back Here,Raphael,We won't Hurt You," Leo reassured,In a Double Voice,With a Wicked Smile on his Face.
"Much," Mikey added,Excitedly.
"How about,NO WAY!!!" Raph retorted,Fearfully,as He ran,Into Donnie's Lab,Shut the Door,And,Hid behind Donnie's Desk.
Mikey and Leo stopped,Seeing Him,Run into the Lab,And,Shut the Lab Door
They turned to Each Other and Smiled,Already Knowing,How to get in.
The Two went,Around Back,Where the Garage Door was Wide Open as They walked,Into the Lab.
"You didn't,Really think,That would Stop Us,Did You?" Leo questioned,Questioning,How Much,He thought That Through,as Him and Mikey spread Out,Across the Lab,To find Him.
"Raphie,Come Out,Come Out,Wherever You are," Mikey called Out as He looked Over,Near the Algae Pools,While,Leo looked,Over near Donnie's Desk.
Raph didn't Answer,He,Just sat There,Behind Donnie's Desk,Grasping his Sais,Tightly,Ready to Attack,One of Them,If They found Him.
At the Same Time.
Deeper in the Sewers.
The Goop was reaching Out to Leatherhead's Face.
"Join Us,Leatherhead," April requested as the Goop moved,Out of her Hands,And,Towards Him.
"Leatherhead,No," Cody shouted as He got Back,Onto his Feet,To Try and Stop It.
Cody ran at Her,To,At Least,Try.
But,She,Just,Instantly,Psychic Blasted Him,Back to the Ground.
The Goop was,About to Touch Leatherhead,Ready to Goop Him.
When...
"Booyakasha," Donnie yelled,as He struck April with his Bo-Staff,Whacking Her to the Ground.
April Grunted as She fell to the Floor,On Her Stomach.
"Thanks,Donatello," Leatherhead thanked,Pretty Glad to not have been Infected.
"Eh,Don't mention It," Donnie replied,Plainly.
"Stupid Donnie," April lashed Out,Angrily,as She rammed Herself,Into Him.
Donnie Screamed as She tackled Him to the Floor.
That was When
Leatherhead Roared as He whipped Her,Off of Donnie,With his Tail.
April fell Back,Onto the Ground,as She rolled,Right Back onto Her Feet.
April Yelled Out as She ran towards Leatherhead,About to kill Him.
Leatherhead's Eyes Widened as He saw Her coming towards Him.
April rammed Him into the Sewer Wall.
"DIE!!!" She demanded as She tried to Spit,Some of the Goop,Out onto Him.
"Leave Him Alone," Cody ordered,as He threw his Sword at Her Head.
April,Already Hearing the Sword Come,Just Ducked as the Sword missed.
"Was That Supposed to do Something?" April commented,as She dropped Leatherhead,And,Started to Approach Cody.
"Leave Him Alone," Leatherhead commanded,Attempting to Stop Her,From Getting to Cody,By Grasping Her Shoulder,Tightly.
April,Just Flipped Leatherhead,Over Her Shoulder,Back onto the Ground.
"That was Pathetic,Was That Supposed to Hurt Us?" April added as She continued to Approach Him.
"No,This is," Cody whispered,as He stood There,Doing Nothing.
Suddenly.
April started to Hear Screaming,Coming from Above.
"Huh," April responded,as She looked Up,To See,Donnie falling towards Her,With His Bo-Staff Raised.
Donnie Yelled as His Bo Staff hit Her,Right in the Face.
April Groaned as She fell,Onto the Floor,Going Unconscious,From All the Injuries,They had Caused.
The Goop was,Now,Off Her,And,Moving towards Leatherhead.
"Beat That,April," Cody stated,Confidently.
"Wait," Donnie warned,Not letting Cody get Any Closer.
"What?" Cody asked.
"It's Off of Her," Donnie informed as He pointed to Her,Being Unconscious.
"Leatherhead," Cody called Out,Seeing Something,Donnie didn't.
"Uh,That is not,What I was Saying," Donnie notified,In an Annoyed Tone.
"He's in Trouble," Cody answered,as He ran,Over to Him.
Donnie turned,To See,What Cody was looking at,Figuring Out,Why He was Running,Over to Him.
"Oh,Why didn't You Just Say So? Ah,I'm Starting to Sound like Mikey," Donnie Questioned,Before,Coming to a Realization.
The Goop Screeched as It Crawled towards Leatherhead,To Infect Someone Else,And,It,Almost did.
However.
Cody wouldn't let It Happen.
Cody ran,After It,With the Jar,In Hand,as He dropped It,Right onto the Goop,Before It could Infect Leatherhead.
The Goop Squeaked as It discovered,It had been Caught.
"Gotcha," Cody announced.
"Good Job,Cody," Donnie congratulated,Running to Cody's Side.
"Thanks," Cody thanked.
"Your Welcome," Donnie replied.
"Now,What do We do with This Thing?" Cody mentioned,Wondering,What They needed to do with the Thing.
"Finish the Analysis,So,We know,Exactly,What This Thing is," Donnie explained.
Cody nodded,In Agreement,Wanting to Know,What They were dealing with,As Well.
Meanwhile.
Back in the Lab.
Leo looked,Behind Donnie's Desk,Seeing Raph,There.
"Found You," Leo shouted,About to attack Him.
Raph Screamed,as He got Back,Onto his Feet,Ready to fight the Thing,That had Infected his Brother.
But,Then.
All of Sudden.
The Goop came Off Leo and Mikey,And,Zoomed Away,To Go Help the Rest of the Goop Escape.
"Raph," Leo called,Softly,Not Knowing,What was going On.
"What are We doing in the Lab?" Mikey asked,Out of Confusion.
"Wha- Seriously?" Raph responded,In Surprise,Not Understanding,What had,Just Happened,as He lowered his Weapons.
"Uh,Yeah,Seriously," Leo agreed,Firmly.
"Oh,Man,This is Getting,Weirder and Weirder," Raph mumbled to Himself.
"What is?" Mikey wondered.
"Don't Worry,I'll Explain Everything," Raph reassured as He put his Arms,Around Them,And,They began to Walk Out of the Lab.
Back to Donnie,Cody,April and Leatherhead.
Cody,Donnie and Leatherhead were Walking,While,Leatherhead carried April,In his Arms.
The Goop came Crawling towards Them.
"Here They Come,Don," Cody warned.
"Just as We Planned," Donnie whispered as They waited for the Goop to get Close Enough.
Once The Goop was Close Enough,Donnie hit the Goop,Into the Air,With his Bo-Staff,Before,Flying into the Jar,In Cody's Hands.
"Ba-da,Boom," Cody said.
"Yeah,Ba-da,Boom," Donnie repeated,Agreeing with Cody,as They Both looked,In the,Now,Sealed Jar.
Later.
They were Back in the Lair,Safe and Sound,And,All stood in the Lab,Waiting for an Explanation,For What had Happened Before Hand.
"So,Donnie,Cody,What were These Things?" Leo questioned,In Concern.
"Yeah,And,How did They do That,Whole taking Over Us Thing?" Mikey added.
"That's a Good Question," April agreed,Now,Awake,And,Fully Functioning.
"Well,Technically,It's a Thing,Not Things,It's One Entity,With the Ability to Split Itself into Dozens of Them," Donnie corrected.
"Gee,Thanks Donnie,That's Totally Helpful," Raph commented,Sarcastically.
"As For,What They are,That's the Interesting Part,They're Parasites,Like,Donnie was talking about,Earlier," Cody explained.
"I'm Sorry,Para-What?" Mikey asked,Not Getting,What It meant.
"Parasites,It's,An Organism,That,Lives in,Or,On an Organism of Another Species,Which is the Parasite's Host,The Parasite's benefit is,That,It is Deriving Nutrients,At the Host's Expense," Cody eludicated.
"Huh?" Mikey responded,Still,Not Getting It.
Cody hit his Hand,On his Face,Giving Up.
"It's like a Living Virus,That steals Things,You need," Donnie rephrased.
"Oh," Mikey answered,Finally,Getting It.
"How do You do It?" Cody muttered to Donnie.
"Eh,I've gotten Pretty Used to It," Donnie pointed Out.
"So,Let Me get This Straight,This Parasite,That,Came from Cody,Which came,From the Shadow Thing,Was using Us as Food," Leo guessed.
"Pretty Much," Cody informed.
"That's Pretty Much It," Donnie admitted.
"And,I'm Guessing,This was a Part of Something Bigger," Raph suspected.
"I'm Afraid So,What We,Just Went Through,Is,Just a Small Taste,For What's Coming," Donnie determined.
"I don't think,We're gonna be able to do This Alone,Anymore,We need Help," Leo realized.
"But,Who could We Possibly get,For Help,Around Here? Most of Our Allies are Busy doing Something," Mikey queried.
Just Then.
Cody's Eyes Widened as He got an Idea.
"Uh Oh, I Know,That Look," Raph murmured,Seeing his Un-Favorite Look.
"No,Not That Look," Mikey complained,as He,Also saw the Look.
"Oh Boy," Leo whispered as He saw the Look,Cody had,As Well
"You've got Something,Don't Ya?" Donnie guessed,Plainfully.
"Most Likely," April and Leatherhead said,In Unison.
"Not Something,Let's,Just Say,A Someone," Cody corrected,as He had a Wicked Smile on his Face.
"Someone?" They All repeated,At the Same Time.
"Yeah,Someone," Cody confirmed.
"Who do You have in Mind?" Leo wondered.
"Come On,Follow Me," Cody ordered as He took Off Running,Out of the Lab,And,Toward the Lair Exit.
The Turtles,April, and Leatherhead All Groaned as They ran,After Him.
Just Following his Lead,On This One.
All They could Hope was,That,It didn't put Them in the Ground.
