"May-Li? May-Li?" Alex asked as May-Li opened her eyes. She was lying on the ground on her side. "She's awake."
"The ambulance is on the way."
"Alex? ... What happened?" May-Li asked quietly.
"You fainted. We've been trying to get you to come round for ages."
"24 minutes and 16 seconds. 17. 18."
"Oh, shut up Sid."
"What's wrong with me?"
"We don't know, but I've called for an ambulance."
"Woah. Don't try and get up May-Li," Alex said as May-Li tried to move. She lay back down and Alex took her hand.
"Let Alice know."
"Already done. She's going to meet you at the hospital."
"Thank you."
"Mike's out with Jay and Bird, but they should be back soon."
"Ok," May-Li said, not in the right mind to solve any problems. "Don't be dangerous yeah?"
"I'll keep them in control."
"Oh will you?"
"Shut up Ryan."
"Don't break anything and..."
"Did someone call for an ambulance?" A paramedic asked they came in.
"Yeah, right here. Her name's May-Li."
"You're going to be fine," Alex said, and he moved so that the paramedics could get to her.
May-Li returned two days later. Everyone was happy that she was ok, and she quickly got everything back to normal.
