"Mike! May-Li!" Alex shouted as he ran downstairs.
"Alex? What's wrong?"
"It's Finn. He's having a seizure."
"What?!" Mike shouted and both he and May-Li followed Alex up the stairs. "Finn. Finn. Alright Finn," Mike said as they got to him.
"I'll get an ambulance," May-Li said before she called them. Alex watched, but he was frozen in fear and worry.
Finn was taken to hospital and Alex stayed with him on the ward.
"Finn. Hey," Alex said as Finn woke up. "It's Alex, you're alright mate."
"Alex? What's going on?"
"You're in hospital. You got hurt so May-Li called for an ambulance."
"What happened... to me?"
"You had a seizure."
"What's that?"
"The doctor will explain it to you. How are you feeling?"
"Dizzy, and tired."
"You might have hit your head when you fell, just take it easy."
"Where's Mike?"
"He's talking to your doctor. I said that I would keep an eye on you."
"Thank you."
"Anything for a mate."
"Can I... have some water?"
"Of course," Alex said and he poured some water from a jug. "Take small sips ok," Alex said, and he helped Finn to drink the water. "Enough?" He asked after a moment and Finn nodded. "Ok," Alex said and he put the water back on the table. "You scared me Finn. Got me really worried. But you're doing ok, and that's good."
"Oh Alex. Thanks for... for staying with me."
"Of course."
"Finn, you're awake," Mike said as he came over with the doctor.
"Yeah."
"He's still coming round, but he seems to be mostly with it," Alex told Mike.
"Good."
