Still Better than Black Keys.
Chapter Seventy Three.
Pretender.
Real Name: Edward Teach.
Also Known As: Blackbeard, Whitebeard, Santa Claus.
Gender: Male.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral. The alignment has changed from Chaotic Evil because of the heroic spirit's love for children, but it's not enough for a shift to Good.
Attribute: Sky. The attribute used to be Human but tuning up to Santa Claus has altered it to something more inspiring.
Likes: "If you could leave a bottle of liquor or two next to the chimney for Santa that'd be great. Rum, if you're a good child."
Dislikes: "I won't forgive any mothers who crush their children's belief on Santa! Bah!"
Natural Enemy: Santa Karna. Stupid better than you looking oblivious rival Santa. There is only one true Santa!
Parameters:
Strength: B+
Endurance: A
Agility: E
Mana: D
Luck: C
Noble Phantasm: D
Biography:
The dread pirate seethes!
"All of those Santa Servants, they treat Christmas as a second Valentine! This is the holiday of the kids! Bah! I can do better!"
That's it! He'll steal the position from them and crown himself as the King of Pirates, that is, the King of Santas! The one true Santa Claus! He dyed his beard white and renamed himself Whitebeard, but has done nothing to adopt the round belly of the Christmas elf! "Hey, I'm a modern Santa for today's hip tykes! Sixpack Santa! Much better and more attractive that way!"
Still mistaken for a pedophile, he'll enlist the Master as a helper and force himself to toil at the workshop, crafting toys. Then you'll have to spread the holiday joy with Whitebeard, whether you want to or not. Has he actually changed for the better?
Class Skills:
Magic Resistance: D
A Skill that protects the user against magecraft. It is increased somewhat from Pretender's Ridfer incarnation, as Santa Claus is an emminently mystical concept with a religious origin. At this rank, it can cancel only very simple spells, to a degree comparable to that of a protection amulet.
Riding: B
The Skill needed to pilot mounts and vehicles. It has been regained from Teach's Rider self, but in return the personal skill Voyager of the Storm has been lost. Boats and sleighs are especially easy to handle, as are reindeers. However, dragons and Phantasmal Beasts can't be tamed.
Personal Skills:
Friend to all Children: A
A Skill that denotes the orientation to protect and look after all children in the world regardless of race or social status. Even if he is vilified and insulted, he will continue this mission of mercy.
All stats gain an extra rank when fighting for the sake of children's lives and happiness.
Conversely, the Servant receives extra damage from children and will react much slower to their attacks.
He-man Woman Hater: B
In trade for his increased love for children, he has grown to resent grown women instead of lusting after them. Or rather, it is more like he still likes them but hates how they constantly mistreated him in the past. A cynical would say he is filled with 'incel rage' although he is not a virgin. His attitude towards ladies has changed from active pursuit to a cold air of raging superiority.
In terms of gameplay he wins a 50% buff against most female opponents lacking the Child trait while fighting them. Ambiguous Servants like Chevalier D'Eon aren't affected. Neither are Caenis and Mordred since Whitebeard can see them as brothers in arms.
Francis Drake is also immune to this skill and she still can mistreat him as she pleases. Is this a sign of true love?
Holiday Knight: C
A Santa Claus excels at the night between December the 24th and December the 25th. During Christmas, Pretender becomes almost unstoppable, with his luck rising to EX and all Chaotic Evil Servants suffeing major debuffs while opposing him.
He also gains a more amiable and less obsessive side to his behavior during this night, and he'll even become civil enough to women.
Noble Phantasm:
Holiday Cannon- The Weapon that Blasts at the Heart of The Fleet: C
Up to 32 enemies at a time.
Pretender invokes a gigantic repainted cannon, manned by several of his pirates, and has them blast it at the enemy several times.
The attack is flashy but simple. It only can shoot in a straight line but the range of the blast reaches widely to each side.
It takes two minutes to reload before shooting again.
There's not much else to say about it. Merry Christmas.
Summon: "HO HO HO! And a bottle of rum! The Jolly Old- That is, the Jolly Powerful Captain is here! Rider, the true Santa Claus! Eh? You say that I'm a Pretender? Your Master senses must be malfunc- malfinct- working wrong, Master! Say that again and you're in the naughty list..."
Beginning of Battle: "For all the children of the world!"
"Have a merry Christmas or die!"
"It's the season of giving! So, I give you this...!"
"Onward, Prancer and Dancer and- Who cares, maul them already!"
"I'm not evil! I just have no patience for naughty children!"
"Stop ruining Christmas, punk!"
Attack:
"Open fire!"
"Scurvy dog!"
"Naughty, naughty!"
"Peace in the world!"
Damage:
"Santa won't die!"
"GRUH!"
"GRRRR!"
"Treacherous scum!"
Victory: "An otaku? Me? D-Don't be stupid! Otakus are shut-ins who don't celebrate Christmas..."
"Kiss your ass goodbye under the mistletoe!"
"This is something to brag about in 4chan! No, forget I said that!"
"That'll teach you to doubt Santa!"
"OH HO HO! Nothing will stir in the house now! Not even a mouse!"
Defeat: "Don't cry, kids..."
"You made the children cry..."
"Looking back at it, I shouldn't have bothered."
"All that effort... For nothing."
Defeat by Noble Phantasm: "I'LL KILL YOU!"
Noble Phantasm Activation:
"Load the cannon! I'll teach them to mock Whitebeard! Even if we have to sink together, our heads cut off...!"
Dialogue Samples:
"Don't play innocent! There's room for only one Santa! Season of friendship? It'll be, once you're gone!" (When you have any other Santa Servant).
"Naughty harlots! You won't deceive my eyes anymore! No, really..." (When you have Rider or Archer Ann Bonny and Mary Read).
"I cannot... Confuse my weak Santa heart, I still can't strike her down..." (When you have Rider or Archer Francis Drake).
"What a grinch! Always in a foul mood! I'll teach him to enjoy the holidays!" (When you have Avenger Batman).

Birthday: "Here's to the second best day in the year! Happy birthday! Your gift's in the sleight!"
Event: "Not worth the trip unless it's a Christmas event."
Holy Grail: "Do I look like someone who was happy as a child, Master? Ever since, my road in life was thorny. I never stood any chance to be a good boy. You've been good to this lost soul, and for that I'm actually thankful. But... if I could wish something, and that could come true, above all riches and gold, I think I'd wish for no child to have to go through what I went through. Heh. But it's only that. A dream. Isn't it?"
