Chapter 4

They made their way to the nearby beach. Once they arrived they each laid out their jackets and sat shoulder to shoulder in the sand. She quickly ditched her shoes and dug her feet into the cool sand.

They sat there in silence for awhile just listening to the waves. "This is relaxing." She sighed as she leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Are you tired?" He asked laying his head on top of hers.

"A little bit I wanted to enjoy your company some more." She confessed as she closed her eyes to try and hear his heart beat.

Azul just blushed and gulped. It took him a long moment to reply. "That makes me happy to hear you say that." He finally managed.

She could hear his heart was pounding, she opened her eyes and smiled. "So despite all your anxiety did you enjoy tonight?" She asked gently pulling away so she could look at him.

"I,..I did. It was enjoyable to hear you songs from my land and from our own. Did Rielle tell you anything about his request?" Azul asked looking away from her.

"Just that it was from his home town and I figured since you grew up there too you would enjoy it too." Maggie informed him as she laid her hand over his.

"So you sang it for me?" Azul asked beginning to blush again.

"Yes, if you had looked up a little more often during the performance you would have noticed I kept glancing at you. I'm little surprised Jade and Floyd didn't tease you more. I guess that'll come later." She teased as she leaned closer to him.

"Do you?" He blurred out.

"Do I what?" She asked tilting her head to the side a bit confused.

"Do you what to be part of his world?" He continued.

"Oh Azul, of course. Were you not paying attention at the end? I'm a villain and I want to be apart of that world, your world." She informed him

Azul quickly shot forward and kissed her.

Maggie wrapped her arms around him and kissed him back. 'He tastes a little like ink.' She thought as she deepen the kiss.

They kissed until they were breathless and broke up but kept their arms around each other.

"Wow." She finally gasped out as she pressed her forehead to his.

"Yeah." He huffed out.

"Is that you were going to do earlier before we went into the restaurant? Were you trying to tell me something important?" Maggie asked.

"Yeah, but I chicken out." He confessed looking down.

"Yeah, but this was way better timing." She reassured him as she made him look back up at her. "Is it?" He asked seeming confused.

"It is." She answered then kissed him again.

Once they broke apart again Azul was just as red as he was after the first kiss but Maggie knew she was just as red.

"Did you know there's a love song even more popular back home then the song you sang tonight?" Azul asked.

"That's a love song?" Maggie asked blushing again.

"It can be, it's used in proposals often." Azul chuckled.

"I didn't know." Maggie confessed. "Why is it popular at his place then?"

"I don't know but I knew you didn't know it was a love song but then more popular one is called 'Kiss the Girl'. It goes back to the mermaid princess who became a human, legend says she had to get the human prince to kiss her." Azul informed her.

"Oh, will you sing a bit of it for me?" She asked.

Azul just nodded and began to sing the first verse of 'Kiss the Girl'. By the time he was finished with the chorus Maggie gave him a break and kissed him.

"It's a beautiful song." She whispered when she pulled away. "I can see why it's so popular. So many songs here are so romantic."

"Are songs from you world not romantic?" Azul asked.

"I wouldn't say that. How about I sing one more song. Just for you?" She suggested as she stood up.

"Just for me?" He asked looking a bit dumbfounded.

She just grinned and nodded and began to sing 'L.O.V. E.'. But she only got to the chorus before Azul got up and hugged her.

"Are you okay?" She whispered as she hugged him back tightly.

He just nodded as he rested his head on her shoulder.

They stood there for a moment while they both collected themselves. "And to think you once said I had an ordinary voice." She tease once he pulled away.

"I believe I apologized for that comment when you agreed to sing for the Mostro Lounge." Azul commented.

"You did, we should head back." She sighed reluctantly letting him go.

"Unfortunately." He sighed as he took her hand in his. "But if we're out too late they'll send a search party." He lead her back to their coats and shook them off as he chuckled. "They might already have. It seems the Pomefiore dorm is quiet overprotective of you."

"You have no room to talk." Maggie retorted as they left the beach.

"Touche." Azul commented.

They walked back to the campus and Azul took her to the Pomefiore front steps. "Good night Maggie." Azul said as he kissed her cheek.

"Good night Azul." She whispered back and returned the kiss on the cheek. She opened the door and waved good night.

She leaned against the door grinning and waited for Vil and Rook to come out of the lounge.

Then whole way back to Octavinelle Azul swore he was floating, more so then if he was back home at the Coral Sea. He knew as soon as entered the dorm Jade and Floyd were going to ask nonstop questions about where he had been.

Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed this story. This is it, that's the end. I hope you liked it. It was a fun story to write and it was a nice break for the long running story I have been writing. I will probably write more short fan-fictions with Azul and Maggie, especially since they bring me joy again.

Fun fact Maggie was my first TWST OC but I had to rework her recently so that's why Odette made her appearance first.
