Adrien was getting the hang of walking as he came into the room filled with lots of treasures like his collection he collects from the shipwrecks. But he's never seen a Chinese culture collection.
"Amazing," He thought while looking through. He saw a beautiful chandelier at the ceiling, a scope he looked through. Soon after spinning a globe, he saw a jade sculpture of a mermaid.
"What are you doing?" Plagg flies in, "You can't just wander around when you please" Plagg whispered.
Suddenly Adrien heard Marinette come in and hide. But when she opened the curtains, she saw him.
"Oh, it's you. Nobody usually comes in here" Marinette said.
Adrien was about to put the mermaid sculpture back.
"My little mermaid," She noticed.
Adrien looks at it, nearly thought she called him one but it was the jade sculpture she was talking about.
"It's alright, you can look at it," Marinette said.
He then showed the locket he found a while ago, hoping it would refresh her memory.
"It can't be? No, it is the same locket!" Marinette opens it.
"It is my locket. Where did you find it?" Marinette asked.
Adrien can't even let her know he's the merman, she would think he's crazy. So instead, he points at the window as if he found it outside when he was welcomed.
"Ah, it was there. Thank you for finding it" Marinette said.
Adrien then looks at the Chinese silk fabric shirt she designed.
"You like it? I designed it" Marinette said.
Adrien examined it at how it reflects from the sunlight. He admired the art and the patterns of the shirt.
"I take it as you like it" Marinette saw him smile with a nod.
"You know, sometimes everyone thinks that a collection is awkward," Marinette said.
Adrien nodded in agreement but hides the fact his own got destroyed by his father.
"But sometimes to me, collecting stuff helps inspire me with designing to help build a better future," Marinette said and Adrien listened to what she said.
"You know, this is gonna sound strange by the way. The other night during a storm, I was saved by someone. I barely saw what he looked like. My guess could be an angel that saved me from drowning" Marinette explained.
Adrien knew what she meant but couldn't say it was him with writing either.
"Come, I'll show you to your room to get a good sleep" Marinette held his hand.
Adrien blushed when she held his hand and walked with her upstairs. They soon came to a small room in the tower.
"Well, I hope this will do for you, Adrien," Marinette said.
Adrien nodded and held her hand, kissing it like a gentleman that he'd be okay in this room.
"Thanks. I hope you enjoy it" Marinette blushed.
Adrien smiled before closing the door, letting Plagg out of hiding.
"What a day but you got two days left, kid. You should've thought about keeping your voice instead of getting human legs. Tomorrow, we go back to the ocean and forget this has never happened" Plagg stopped when he saw Adrien's sad face, "Oh, boy. Unless go back to that miserable life with your father. I can't believe I'm regretting this" Plagg sighs that he has no choice but to help this mute boy, "Fine, I'll help you, kid. I can't believe I'm becoming too soft like a kitten"
Adrien just looks at him and then pets his little head.
"Man, what would Cat Noir do for you?" Plagg asked.
Adrien then takes out a paper and writes something on it, getting the hang of writing better, 'Get his voice back' He wrote.
"Not easy when you can't breathe underwater, kid. Right now, you have to get along with your human princess" Plagg said.
Adrien nodded and let out a yawn that he was exhausted, going to his bed that he'd never seen. He tried to sit but it felt a little swishy when gravity made him lie down. He soon laid down, feeling comfortable.
"I better find Tikki," Plagg said as he phased through the walls.
With Marinette, she was already asleep while Tikki was enjoying macaroons.
"Tikki….a word, please," Plagg said outside the open window.
Tikki flew over to Plagg, "Hey Plagg, what is it?"
"We have a big problem. My holder can't transform without his voice" Plagg said.
"What? How did this all happen? Compared with my owner, she couldn't find the real him when he was right in front of her the whole time. How did he become a human?" Tikki asked.
"He made a deal with the sea witch Cerise, but at the cost of trading his voice to become human," Plagg said.
"What?! Why would he do that?" Tikki exclaimed.
"His father destroyed human artifact collection that broke my poor kitten fish very badly. It drove my kitten to leave his world. But it's not forever because he has 2 days left until he's back to a merman again. Only with a true love's kiss will make him human permanently" Plagg said.
"I got a bad feeling about it," Tikki said.
"We gotta get your bug and my kitten together tomorrow," Plagg said.
"It won't be easy, Plagg. Things take time for a relationship to develop. We can't rush them" Tikki said.
"But my kitten has been swooning a lot with your bug before he found me," Plagg said.
"And my bug barely knows much about him. I mean your owner did save her but she doesn't know he's the black cat" Tikki said.
"Well, it's only a matter of time. If he fails, he'll be pulled back into the ocean and be forced to be with that creepy sea witch" Plagg said.
"Tomorrow is a big day, Plagg. I'm sure they'll get close" Tikki said.

Deep in the ocean of the kingdom, the royal merman guards tried and tried to find the prince but he was nowhere to be found. King Gabriel knew why but he never said anything about it. Nathalie knows and she sure is upset with him for taking things way too far for his son.
"So where is he?" Gabriel asked.
"We don't know" Said Marc.
"He's gone," Kim said.
"What do you mean he's gone?!" Gabriel got mad.
"He's not in these waters," Nathaniel said.
"Then look again! Search the seven seas if you have to!" Gabriel said before swimming to his throne.
"It doesn't make sense. Why would Adrien leave?" Ivan said.
"I have no idea," Nathaniel said.
Gabriel stayed silent, he knew he was the reason, "Never mind that. Just find him!" Gabriel ordered them.
He slumps back on his throne, sighing as his trident glows before he drops it, "What have I done?"
Someone swam in the room and thought it was Adrien, "Adrien?!" Gabriel exclaimed.
"No, it's just me" It was Felix, "What have you done, uncle?"
"It's my fault. I pushed too far on punishing Adrien" Gabriel said.
"Hmph, now you finally regret it. Uncle, I watched him go to the surface not because he's obsessed or reckless, it's because it makes him happy. Something you could not see through him" Felix said.
"And you knew this whole time without telling me?!" Gabriel yelled.
"I course I knew the whole time. I supported his happiness, but you didn't. The only thing that makes him happy is collecting human treasures to learn from them. From what I heard, you destroyed his happiness. That's why I love my cousin, to see him build his own happiness" Felix swims out of the throne room, "Wherever Adrien is, he better be safe" Felix said.
Unless he is at the surface again, there's no way he can live in a world like that as a merman.

The second day came and Marinette brought Adrien outside to get on the horse carriage but saw him petting the horse. Adrien thought these creatures resembled similar like seahorses but he's never seen land creatures like this.
"He likes you" Marinette smiled.
The horse neighed which almost spooked Adrien, "Easy boy" Marinette calmed the horse down.
'Okay, don't pet him too hard. He didn't like that' Adrien said in his thoughts and tried again to let the horse gently.
He carefully pets the horse's forehead, making it feel relaxed.
"You really love animals," Marinette said.
Adrien chuckled and got on the carriage with her. Marinette hits the reins to make the horse walk through the gates of the kingdom.
Adrien pointed at something to distract Marinette from looking under the carriage. He eventually sat back up, the kwamis following them unnoticed.
Once in town, Marinette showed him around, Adrien saw a puppet show and grabbed the puppet before giving it back to the performer. Then Adrien saw a spot where people were dancing and the two teens waltzed briefly. Soon they stopped by for a snack and Adrien picked a watermelon. This made Marinette feel reminded of someone who likes watermelon. She shrugged it off and ate with him.
Plagg and Tikki watched them from above.
"Still no kissing yet," Plagg said.
"We need a new plan," Tikki said.
"Like what?" Plagg said.
Unaware that Felix came near the river canal, watching his cousin as a human spending time with a human girl.
"There he is" Felix whispered, "How did he get human legs?" He asked himself.
Soon, after the tour of the kingdom, Marinette brought Adrien to the lagoon to rowboat with him and showed him the wonders of the lagoon.
"Nothing is happening and only one day left," Plagg said.
"We gotta bring the mood to them," Tikki said.
"Yes, of course. We'll use the environment" Plagg said.
"Percussion" Plagg gently nudged the bamboo sticks.
"Strings" Tikki urged the bugs to make music by their chirping.
Nearby, Felix used his tailfin to shoo the birds, "Winds" He whispered as the birds flew near the pair.
Plagg then snuck on the boat, "Words" He began to sing.

Marinette never left her eyes off Adrien while he looked around. Plagg got near Marinette while singing, making her turn but didn't see him. She nudged him off her shoulder still oblivious. The two teens pass through some leafed vines. Adrien gently held the oars with Marinette.
"Do you want to try?" Marinette asked.
Adrien nods and sits next to him to share oars with him. They soon came under a waterfall as Plagg and Tikki sang.

Marinette and Adrien lay down next to each other, leaning close until Adrien just sat up. Tikki then flew through the leaves to lure out the fireflies. Marinette and Adrien were both mesmerized by the sight and looked at each other. Felix swam at full speed to attract self-glowing fishes to circle around the boat so it could slowly spin. It draws the couple's attention. They didn't see Felix but they saw the fishes glow. Some of the fishes spat water until one hit Marinette. Adrien wiped it off her face smiling. They soon leaned in to kiss but they both fell over.
"Whoa, whoa! Hang on! I got ya!" Marinette grabbed Adrien to help him up, "Phew, we gotta get back home to dry up" They paddle back to shore. Felix peeks out of the water, seeing them leave.

Unaware that it was the electric eels that knocked them off the boat.
"That was too close. That prince is tougher than I thought! No matter, it's time I took things into my own hands!" Cerise smashed a potion to create a teleportation to the sea kingdom, swimming through it and went to find a merman she could take the form of him with a kiss and put him to sleep.
"Now to find a very attractive boy I can be" Cerise applies an enchanted lipstick on her lips. She spots the red tomato-haired boy talking to Marc before departing.
"Perfect. I hope you don't mind I take your copy from" Cerise cackled and swam after him, getting in front of him before he could say anything. She kissed his cheek and took the form of him, leaving the real boy to fall asleep, snoring.
"HAHAHAHA!" She cackled with Adrien's voice through hers.
She headed to the surface, to begin with the next part of her plan.

Adrien and Marinette made it back to the castle, soaked and wet but at least they had fun all day.
"Heh, I had so much fun. What about you, Adrien?" Marinette asked.
Adrien smiled and gestured with his hands to say he had fun.
"I'm glad you had fun. Well, time to head to bed. Tomorrow is another big day" Marinette giggled.
Adrien smiled but then got worried that tomorrow is the last day. If he doesn't earn his love in time and kiss her, he'll be back to a merman. He heads upstairs to his room while Marinette watches him. Alya came and saw her best friend looking at Adrien going upstairs.
"Girl, I think he's perfect for you. Unless you're still thinking about your guardian angel boy" Alya said.
"I don't know, Alya. Maybe my savior is an angel. And Adrien, he's so handsome and compassionate, but doesn't speak" Marinette said.
"I wonder if he has always been mute," Alya said.
"I wonder too. I'll just take one last look for my savior and then head to bed" Marinette said.
"At night?" Alya said.
"I checked a lot during the daytime but never at night," Marinette said.
"Okay, but be careful girl," Alya said.
"I'm Ladybug. She's always careful" Marinette said before heading out.
As she thought about the mysterious boy who saved her, she didn't know if it was Cat Noir who could breathe underwater. He never talked about it.
"Where is that cat fish man" She asked herself and then heard that familiar siren male voice and it was beautiful.
She walked down the stairs to the cliffs, the voice kept going. Marinette carefully walks on the cliffs seeing a teen boy standing there. He turns to face her and Marinette is stunned to see it was him singing. On his neck was the glowing seashell. It enchanted her in her eyes like she was in a trance.
