Shakti closed the wall behind her, leaving a tortured and passed-out Valletta behind. She had passed out from the pain Shakti had inflicted on her.

So Shakti decided to take a break and come back later. She didn't expect to see Ganesha, her patron god, standing outside, leaning on the wall.

"So, you get anything useful?" he asked, his voice calm and collected.

Shakti just stood there in stunned silence.

"Hmm, you haven't asked her anything yet, I take it."

"N-no, lord Ganesha," Shakti nervously answered.

Ganesha looked under his nails.

"I see."

He pushed himself off the wall and looked his captain in the eyes.

"I thought I'd tell you your sister is alive and well. Thanks to Bell, she was able to survive."

Shakti felt a wave of relief wash over her hearing the good news. But was quickly replaced by one of dread, knowing she was caught.

"Are you going to let me see her before you arrest me?" Shakti asked.

Ganesha let out a small laugh.

"Arrest you, heavens no child."

"Wait, what?" Shakti asked, confused.

Ganesha gestured his head to the secret entrance.

"That woman is as sadistic as they come. I heard the reports. She laughed in glee, thinking she killed Ardee. I have no sympathy for someone like her. Get what you can out of her. Then do what you want. I was never here."

Shakti was confused. Why wasn't he angry?

"So you're not gonna arrest me?"

Ganesha shook his head.

"Why would I arrest you? I'm a god of the masses, and the masses are more important than one sadistic woman. Just don't let Astraea catch you, or she will arrest you," Ganesha warned.

Shakti didn't know what to say, so Ganesha spoke for her.

"Now then, let's go to Airmids clinic. Your sister is waiting for you."

Shakti remained stunned in silence but followed her god.

"Wait, how did you find me?" Shakti asked.

"I have my ways."

Bell opened the door to his room. It was still bare as he'd been dragging his feet about getting more furniture.

He forgot to shut his door as the day had taken its toll on him. So much had happened, and it was only noon. This was one of the days he hated being the wielder of the six eyes.

Being able to see everything in such detail gave him a sort of photographic memory. He doesn't remember every little thing that's happened in his life. But he could remember more than an average person.

Every time his eyes shut, he could see Ardee lying on the ground, her throat cut open and blood pouring out. The look of absolute fear on her face as her eyes silently begged Bell to save her.

Bell shook his head, trying to expel the thoughts from his mind.

"Well, looks like I'm not getting much sleep tonight," he muttered, laying down on his bed.

His eyes shut again, and more images of Ardee flashed in his mind.

Her open throat trying to suck in air but failing to get any. Her passing out from lack of oxygen, and Bell's stomach dropping, thinking she was dead. How fast he ran to get her to Airmid. How light she was.

His eyes opened again, and he sat up. He pinched the bridge of his nose, pushing his glasses up, and muttered a curse.

"Damnit"

A knock on his door caught his attention, and he looked up to see Astraea standing there.

"Rough day?" She asked.

"Ardee got her throat slit and was nearly blown up by a child."

Astraea quickly rushed over to Bell.

"Good gods, is she okay? Are you ok?"

Bell nodded.

"She's alive; I saw the bomb in the kid's hand but was too late to stop her from getting her throat slit. Saved her from the worst of the explosion, though."

Astraea let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank goodness she survived. But what about you? You're not looking so good."

"Well, I only witnessed a child try to kill my first friend and had to watch as Ardee looked at me with fear plastered all over her face, begging me to save her while all I could do was sit there and watch. If Shakti hadn't tossed me that potion, Ardee would've died." Bell sarcastically stated.

"Bell"

"Sorry, I could've said that better and not been an asshole."

Astraea took a seat next to Bell on his bed. She didn't try and touch him, already knowing the outcome.

"Well, it sounds like you've had a very rough day. Normally, I give hugs and other forms of comfort when my familia comes back after an extremely rough day. But I know your dislike for people touching you."

Bell let out a small chuckle.

"Doesn't leave you with many options, does it?"

Astraea shook her head.

"Not really; therefore, I hope my company is enough."

"You know it's funny. I haven't really slowed down ever since I woke up from that coma. The second I got my strength back, I made my way to Orario. I haven't even stopped to think or properly grieve about what's happened."

"Is it something you want to talk about now?" Astraea asked.

Bell shook his head.

"No. Yes. I don't know. It's just, how do I talk about this? You already know what happened, but I don't know the steps to take toward recovery or some semblance of recovery."

Astraea laid her hands on her lap and looked at Bell.

"Well, I believe a good first step would be to open up to more people. You don't have to tell them why you're really here or who gave you that scar. But talking with people about it might help give you some insight on how to deal with it. You know, with different points of view and whatnot."

"So, like a group therapy session?"

"No, nothing like that. I'm saying that you've been a part of this familia for almost a month and haven't even given a sliver of information to anyone that isn't Ryu or Ardee. Tell them a little more about yourself."

"But what if they reject me?"

"They won't, believe it or not. When you actually are around, they enjoy your presence. Alise says you're like the little brother of the familia."

"Oh, well, that's comforting. I guess. Not sure how I like being referred to as a little brother, though."

Astraea giggled.

"Don't take it to heart. They did the same thing when I recruited Ryu."

Bell laid back down on his bed and sighed.

"Thanks for this, Astraea. It helps, but I don't expect to get much sleep tonight."

"Let me guess what happened to Ardee keeps flashing through your mind every time you close your eyes."

"Yup"

"I'm sorry to hear that. Is there any way I can help?"

Bell was quiet for a moment before answering.

"Can you just stay?"

"Of course"

.

.

.

.

Two weeks passed without much happening. No one knew where Valletta went to since Ganesha said Shakti had lost her.

Everything was oddly quiet, and it set everyone on edge. Sure, the quiet was nice, but many people saw it as the calm before a storm.

The Astraea familia still did their patrols, however, and today, Bell was paired with Kaguya. To make it extra fun for him, they were patrolling the pleasure district.

"Alright, handsome, let's get going," Kaguya cooed as she walked in front of Bell.

Bell rolled his eyes and followed behind her, noticing the sway in her hips as he did so.

"Now, don't get distracted while we're in the pleasure district. Keep your eyes on me, and you'll be fine."

"I'm already hating this."

"Oh, don't worry. Mama will make you sing one day."

Bell smartly took a step to the side.

"I can already hear Alise laughing," Bell thought.

That's what this was a small prank Alise pulled, knowing how Kaguya acted towards Bell.

When the two reached the pleasure district, Kaguya held her hand out to stop Bell. She turned to look at Bell, and her face had a serious look on it.

"Alright, from now on, actually stay close to me. Even though it's daytime, the girls here, Especially the Berbera, will eat you up if given the chance. I know you're level five, but they will find a way."

"Alright, stick close to you so I don't get molested, gotcha."

"I'm serious, Bell. Sure, you may have that power of yours that lets no one touch you. But you'll have to turn it off eventually, and that's when they'll get you."

Bell held up his hands in mock surrender.

"Alright, alright, I'll stick close to you, don't worry. Now, are we gonna do our jobs or stand out here?"

"Good. Now, if you feel scared, you can hold onto me," Kaguya said, walking into the district.

"I'm gonna smack you."

"Make sure you hit my ass when you do," Kaguya said.

"I already hate this."

Kaguya giggled.

"Oh, don't worry. You'll grow to like me soon enough."

The two began their patrol of the pleasure district. Since it was daytime, not many prostitutes were out and about since they worked all night.

The ones that were, however, looked at Bell with a hungry look in their eyes. Some were even looking at Kaguya the same way.

"I'm really uncomfortable now," Bell muttered.

Kaguya chuckled.

"Chin up, you know none of them can touch you. Besides, with that whole bad boy look you're doing, you're quite the looker."

"Bad boy look?"

"The glasses, the messy hair. Causal street clothes. Aura of confidence and uncaring. Got the whole bad boy look down to a T. But you see, I know the truth, inside you're very kind and caring. That's why I wanna fuck ya."

Bell clicked his tongue.

"And here I thought you were about to say something nice."

Kaguya scoffed.

"What, you think a beautiful far eastern lady who's well endowed wanting to fuck you is not something nice."

"For the love of god, someone shoot me."

"You have to turn your power off for that."

"Damnit"

"You're not getting rid of me, pretty boy," Kaguya cooed, leaning closer to Bell.

"I'm gonna smack you."

"You know where to aim."

Ishtar stood atop Belit Babeli, watching Bell and Kaguya. She took a drag from her pipe and blew the smoke into the air.

"Tammuz, when are those two leaving," Ishtar asked.

"Not for another couple of hours, lady Ishtar. Those two are from the Astraea familia doing their daily patrol."

Ishtar took another drag from her pipe.

"Hmm, a man in the Astraea familia. Interesting, wonder what made her recruit him."

"Rumors say he has a power that doesn't let anyone or anything touch him."

This caught Ishtar's attention. A power where nothing can touch him. Could this be a limitless and six-eyed user? If so, Ishtar wanted to know more.

"Oh really, tell me, Tammuz, has anyone seen his eyes before?"

"Yes, Lady Ishtar, sometimes his glasses fall down a little, and people have described his eyes as bright red orbs that glow."

Ishtar let out a small but wicked smile at the information. A user of the six eyes was in her very district.

"Tammuz, does Astraea have anyone higher than level four?"

"The boy is a level five lay Ishtar."

Ishtar clicked her tongue. This would be harder than she thought.

"Tammuz send a letter to Kali. Let her know our plans against Freya are on pause. I want that boy. Tell her we'll need her help, and I'll happily pay whatever she's asking."

"Right away, Lady Ishtar"

Tammuz then left as Ishtar continued to look down at Bell.

"Yes, with you, my plans against Freya will be much easier."

Ishtar let out another drag of her pipe before a delighted smile appeared on her lips.

"Yes, you will be very useful." Dear boy"

Six hours passed, and the sun began to set. More and more of the nightlife in the pleasure district started appearing. Berbera were starting to encroach on Bell and Kaguya.

"I feel more hungry eyes on us," Bell muttered.

"Oh, don't worry, pretty boy, I'll protect you. No need for you to be concerned."

"I am getting a little concerned, Kaguya. I can feel my brain starting to fry from keeping this on too long."

Kaguya, hearing the worry in Bell's voice, picked up the pace.

"Keep close to me, and I won't let any of them get you."

Kaguya knew about Bell's dislike of people touching him. Sure, she joked around with him and offered herself to him multiple times.

But it had to be on his own terms, not something she forced. Sure, she was a nymphomanic, but one of her strong beliefs was consent above all else.

Kaguya's eyes darted in each direction, seeing more and more of the Berbera look at Bell with hungry eyes. She could hear the one thought going through each of their heads.

Fresh meat.

Kaguya wasn't kidding when she said Bell was rocking the bad boy look.

The two passed by a brothel, and Bell stopped in his tracks.

"Kaguya, you need to look at this."

Kaguya stopped and turned to face Bell.

"Bell, we need to go. Your time limit is almost up," Kaguya said, urgency in her voice. She walked to Bell to try and usher but stopped in her tracks when she saw what Bell was looking at.

A beautiful renard girl with blonde hair and emerald green eyes stared back at the two. She wore a red kimono and had far Eastern features similar to Kaguya. She was well endowed in all the places that mattered, but they didn't pay attention to any of that.

"Kaguya, that's a slave collar," Bell said.

Kaguya was stunned for only a second before regaining her focus. She looked around them and noticed the Berbera getting closer. But now they were on guard.

"Bell, we need to go now!" She urgently said.

"Kaguya Ishtar is keeping slaves. The guild has that shit banned. We can't just leave her," Bell protested.

"Bell, your abilities are running on fumes, and I'm not strong enough to take on all of the Berbera! We need to leave now."

Bell clicked his tongue and reluctantly followed Kaguya, who began pushing her way past people. Dozens of Berbera were on their tail, looking at the two in alert.

What secret did they find?

.

.

.

.

Kaguya and Bell left the pleasure district, and Kaguya noted the Berbera weren't following them anymore.

"Alright, we can stop here," she said.

Bell quickly turned off his infinity and held his head.

"Damn, my head feels hollow and numb."

"You alright? I don't need to carry you back, do I?" Kaguya asked.

Bell groaned.

"No, I'm fine. Just cutting it close is all."

Bell winced as he took his hands off his head.

"Cutting it real close"

Bell turned and looked back toward the pleasure district. He could see people coming and going, thanks to his six eyes. He memorized the renards thermal shape, so he was looking for her.

"Renard's being moved, four buildings down, second floor. We spooked them by seeing her."

"Bell, we need to head home. We don't know if any of them are following us," Kaguya said.

"We can't just leave her there!" Bell protested.

Kaguya's head whirled around her black, her flowing in the wind as she did so.

"Bell, you're out of juice for whatever it is your power is called. I'm only a level four, and Ishtar's Berbera has multiple of them. The leader of the Berbera is also a high-level four since she leveled up last year. Plus, their familia's captain is a high-level five. We don't stand a chance against them."

"So what, we turn tail and run?"

"No, you stupid boy, we pull back and rest for now! You're all out of juice, and we have no backup. It would be the two of us vs. the entire Ishtar familia. Think it through," Kaguya stated.

Bell looked back to the pleasure district before growling in annoyance.

"Such bullshit," he muttered, walking past Kaguya.

"You're lasting longer than I thought you would," Shakti said, cleaning off a scalpel.

Valletta still remained tied to her chair, her body bloody and broken.

"You can't have much fight left in you, however. Two weeks is enough time to break someone like you."

Shakti then grabbed a rag and a bucket of water and kicked Valletta's chair over. The chair slammed to the ground, causing Valletta to land on her back.

She groaned in pain, her body aching and sore. Shakti didn't care and just tossed the rag on her face. She walked back to the table and, grabbed a cup, and went back to Valletta.

Shakti filled the cup with water before holding the rag over Valletta's face. Once the rag was secure, Shakti poured the water from the cup onto the rag.

Valletta immediately started to struggle as she couldn't breathe. She shook her head from side to side and pulled at her chains, but nothing changed.

Her mouth opened and closed like a fish trying to get air into her lungs, but she couldn't. Shakti looked on impassively as she just dumped another cup of water on her.

Valletta's body jumped up, feeling more water being poured on her. But Shakti's grip remained firm, and Valletta was stuck in this tortuous position.

Valletta started to scream and shake her head violently, trying to shake the rag off. Shakti's grip held firm as she stared uncaring at the woman beneath her.

After another minute, Shakti took the rag off Valletta's face, and the pink-haired woman coughed violently, trying to get the water out of her lungs.

"What can't hold your breath?" Shakti mocked.

Valletta didn't respond, still trying to catch her breath.

"Hmm, well, it doesn't matter if you can or cannot. I don't really care. Now, you wanna talk, or should I go for five minutes this time?"

Valletta remained quiet as she slowed her breathing down. She glared at Shakti, trying to lunge at her, but the chains kept her in place.

"Such futile resistance. It just means more work for me. Or should I say fun? You know, for a sadist like yourself, I'm surprised you've lasted this long."

Valletta glared at Shakti, pure hatred in her eyes.

"Well, that look won't do." Shakti grabbed a blindfold on the table and tied it around Valletta's eyes, taking her sight away from her.

Valletta tried shaking it off but failed as Shakti tied it too tightly. Shakti picked the chair back up and left Valletta sitting there.

"Well, I'd love to stay and chat, but I need to get back before people notice I'm missing. Because, unlike you, people care enough to search for me, and to make sure you don't go screaming for help."

Shakti grabbed the bucket of water and dumped it on Valletta. Valletta shrieked as the freezing cold water soaked her clothes, and she started to shiver.

"There, now you've had a bath."

Shakti walked behind her and tied a rope around Valletta's neck, making her lean forward in an uncomfortable position so she wouldn't choke herself to death.

"Just a few more things, and I'll be out of your hair."

Shakti grabbed the rag she used to waterboard Valletta and stuffed it into her mouth before tying another piece of cloth to secure it. She then grabbed earmuffs and put them over Valletta's ears to rob her of her hearing as well.

"Well, enjoy yourself. I'll be back soon. Maybe I'll actually feed you if I feel like it."

Shakti then left a bound, blind, deaf, gagged, and starving Valletta as she headed back to her familia's home.

Ardee was currently sitting in her hospital bed reading a book. Bell has come by after raiding the Astraea familia library for hero stores and dropped them all off for her to read during her stay.

She still felt pain from the burns, and Airmid wanted to keep her around to make sure they healed properly. Or as properly as they could.

A knock at her door caught her attention. Maybe it was Bell?

"Come in," she said, placing her bookmark in the book. The door opened as she set the book on her side table, and when she looked back, she saw her patron god standing before her.

"Oh, hello, lord Ganesha. How can I help you?" Ardee asked, a little disappointed it wasn't Bell who was visiting her.

"You can help me by getting better, dear child, and don't sound too disappointed I'm here," Ganesha said.

Ardee gave him a soft smile.

"Sorry, lord Ganesha, you're just not who I was expecting."

Ganesha pulled up a chair and sat next to her bed.

"Right, you're hoping for the young man to show up. He's visited you quite a lot since you've been admitted here."

Ardee shyly looked away from Ganesha.

"Oh, does someone have a Prince Charming?" Ganesha teased.

"Mmm, lord Ganesha, it's not like that. It's just he accepted me without a second thought after seeing what I look like now. It just made me really happy, is all."

Ganesha laughed at Ardee's shyness.

"Alright, I'll drop the subject. But Bell is a good kid; I like that you get along with him so well."

"Lord Ganesha, you talk like you know Bell on a personal level."

Ganesha cringed at his mistake.

"I don't know him at a personal level, Ardee. But I did meet him at the gate when he first arrived and helped him join the Astraea familia. That's all," Ganesha explained.

Ardee felt like her god wasn't telling the whole story but didn't want to pursue the subject any further. It was Bell's and Gamehsa's business, not hers.

"Now, the reason for my visit. Ardee, I think it's time I updated your status. I was gonna do it after the raid, but. Well, we both know how that ended."

Ardee's face darkened a little before she let out a cheerful smile.

"Well, it's ok. I survived, and now I can grow stronger."

Ardee then turned around and dropped her hospital gown, her bare back exposed to Ganesha as she covered her chest.

She knew Ganesha wouldn't look and keep his hands to himself. But if someone walked in, it was best to have herself covered.

Ganesha bit his thumb and tore some flesh off. Once his thumb started bleeding, he dropped his blood onto Ardee's back so he could update her status.

Skills

Liaris Freese: Accelerated growth as long as the user's feelings of wanting to catch up remain strong. Allows immunity for all charms

Ganabati Blood: Slightly raises the user's status.

Dharmas Argo: A passive skill that was always on and boosted the status of familia members in a certain area around the user. The amount boosted, and the number of targets dependent on the users level.

Magic

Ghana Avimutta: Restraining magic, which lowered all the abilities of the user's targets and had a high chance of forcibly causing them to stop.

Dia Kaumundi: A healing magic that also boosted the status of those affected by it for a limited time. The number of targets was dependent on the users level.

"Hmm, bow odd. I've never seen a skill like this before, and your numbers have jumped incredible heights since your last update."

Ganesha grabbed a piece of paper lying around and copied Ardee's stats. Ardee put her gown back on and looked at her status sheet. Seeing her new skill caused her to blush in embarrassment.

Ganesha read the skill again before looking at Ardee with a teasing smile on his face.

"So who is it? Is it Bell?" he asked, sounding like a schoolgirl asking her friend about her crush.

"It's no one lord Ganesha"

"Uh huh, sure. Oh hey, Bell."

Ardee's head quickly shot up, and looked around the room, but she didn't see Bell.

"Oh, so you would've been excited to see Bell, huh?"

Ardee covered her face with her blanket. All the while, Ganesha let out a hearty laugh. Once he calmed down, he spoke.

"So tell me. Why is it you want to catch up with him? Are you in love with him?"

Ardee shook her head.

"No, it's not like that. It's just, Bell saved my life and accepted how I look. He's kind and gentle, and funny as well. But he's also strong, stronger than me. I don't want him to leave me behind while he gets even stronger. I want to be by his side and be strong with him. So he doesn't have to worry about me."

Ganesha grabbed Ardee's shoulder and gave her a comforting squeeze. A small but gentle smile on his face.

"Well, get better, and get back in the field once you're cleared."

.

.

.

.

"This news is quite concerning," Astraea muttered.

Alise, Kaguya, and Bell were all gathered in her office as Bell and Kaguya told her the news of slavery in the pleasure district.

"So what's the plan?" Bell asked as he paced the room back and forth.

Astraea was quiet for a minute as her captain and vice-captain looked at her. They wouldn't act without their goddess's orders.

"Looking at our options, there's nothing we can really do other than inform the guild. We simply don't have the firepower to match Ishtar."

Bell stopped pacing the room and looked at her dumbfounded.

"I'm sorry I must've misheard you. Did you say we're to do nothing while that poor girl suffers?"

"I said the only thing we can do is report this to the guild. I don't have the manpower necessary to oppose Ishtar."

Bell scoffed.

"Yeah, and the guild will sit on their ass and do nothing. We both know this."

Astraea sighed.

"Bell, this city is in the midst of a civil war. I can't afford to send my girls into a war I know we won't be able to win. Ishtar outnumbers me four to one. For every level three I have, Ishtar has four to counter her. Same with my level fours."

"But you have me a level five with infinity," Bell said.

Kaguya and Alise were confused. What the hell was infinity?

"And the silence broke through it. How do we know any of Ishtar's children can't."

Bell threw his arms in the air.

"We're talking about someone called the incarnation of talent compared to a prostitute. Not a close matchup."

"Bell, we are not invading the pleasure district, and that is final. You are not to speak of this again until I have sent this tip through the proper guild channels. Goddesses orders"

Bell just scoffed and marched to the door.

"Goddess of justice, my ass," Bell muttered as he slammed the door.

"Hey!" Alise yelled after him.

Astraea raised her hand.

"Alise, don't. Let him cool off."

Alise clicked her tongue.

"Where does he get off treating you like that?"

"Alise, you didn't see the girl we saw. She looked so sad. Like she had given up on life, a look like that can mess someone up," Kaguya said.

Astraea sighed as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

"I want to help this girl. I really do. But we're outnumbered and outgunned. Even if we did try and stage a recuse, you'd be slaughtered. Orario can't afford to lose you, not in its darkest hour."

"We could ask Loki for help," Kaguya said.

Astraea shook her head.

"No, Loki won't do that. She's selfish and will probably demand something outrageous in return. The only reason she and her familia are helping to fight this dark age is because they live in this city."

Alise clicked her tongue.

"People like that make me sick. Only acting in their own self-interests."

"And I won't ask Freya because she'll ask for something even more outlandish than Loki. Can't ask Ganesha either, as his familia is already stretched too thin," Astraea said.

"So we're really gonna leave this girl in Ishtar's hands," Kaguya asked.

Astraea let out a defeated sigh.

"For the time being, yes. Once things settle down, we can look into this matter more thoroughly."

Kaguya hung her head in defeat.

"I'll go and inform Bell. I'll also make sure he doesn't do anything stupid."

Kaguya left the office and headed to Bell's room.

"Lady Astraea, can I ask you something?"

"If it is within my power to answer, sure."

"Bell mentioned this thing called infinity. What is it?"

Astraea had a small smile on her face.

"You're a smart girl. You'll figure it out."

Astraea said nothing more and only left Alise in confusion. But another question was on her mind.

"Lady Astraea, if Ishtar is stronger than us, then why didn't Bell join her familia?"

Astraea just gave Alise a knowing smile.

"Alise, my child, do you really think someone like Bell would join her willingly?"

Alise nervously chuckled.

"Fair point"

The door to Astraea's office suddenly flew open, and Kaguya stood there. Her hair was a mess, and she was slightly panting from running.

"Bell's gone?!!"

.

.

.

.

Bell stood atop a roof across the street from the pleasure district. He could see the fox girl's thermal signature and knew two things.

Where she was located, and that she was alone. He knew he shouldn't be here as his brain was still recharging from using his Infinity all day. Some of those prostitutes did try to grab him during his patrol.

So he'd be going in without his physical and metaphorical shield. He also knew he had no business about what was going on in the pleasure district.

"Well, Grandpa always said heroes stick their noses where they don't belong," Bell thought to himself.

Bell looked down to the packed street below him and saw multiple Berbera on the streets. Other than the gate guards, the rest were unarmed but were still in the streets.

Judging by their posture, they were alert but also ready to please their clientele if needed.

"Well, if I get grabbed, I'm most likely getting raped. I should go back home and rest and try again tomorrow when I have my infinity active. Or I go in now while all of their attention is on the street and not her," Bell thought.

"Eh fuck it, I'm already here. Might as well go in."

Bell ran and jumped across the street, landing on the rooftop across from him. He peeked over the edge of the roof and saw that nobody heard or even saw him.

Which was good; it made his job a lot easier. Looking back toward the fox girl, Bell stealthily began making his way to her.

Well, another day, another chapter. I hope you enjoyed the multiple points of view this time and not just Bell.

Kaguya came onto him really strong but had his back when he was starting to panic about his infinity turning off.

We all know what the Berbera tried to do to him in canon.

Also, if Astraea feels out of character, she's looking at the situation from a logical standpoint. Sure, she could send her familia in, but they would be slaughtered, and the city would be plunged into further darkness.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you later.
