Naruto, Sasuke and Hinata pause, looking off into the distance as they hear a scream in the distance. "Looks like people have already started." Sasuke remarks, walking with ease as he steps over a large root.
"Shame it ain't us." Naruto chuckles, being the noisier of the trio due to his armour given to him by the Tetsu Clan. "We'd have gotten a scroll already. Ain't that right, Hinata?" Naruto asks, smirking his trademark smile.
"Y-Yes, Naruto-kun." Hinata replies, smiling a little, though she is nervous, truth be told.
"Hold up." Naruto says, turning to a bush and begins to relieve himself.
Hinata blushes, surprised once more by Naruto's bravery as she goes to give him some privacy. Sasuke turns to see Naruto relieving himself, shaking his head and sees Hinata leaving to give Naruto privacy. "Dobe." Sasuke mutters as he keeps watch.
Naruto groans with relief, shaking before zipping up. Naruto and Sasuke pause, hearing a sudden noise as somebody crashes through the nearby treeline. Hinata stands up, looking alert and stands in a stance as another Hinata jumps, into view and gets into a familiar stance. The two look at each other with confusion and surprise. "Naruto-kun, help!" The first Hinata calls, fearful.
"N-Naruto-kun, th-they've disguised themselves as m-me." The second Hinata calls, looking fearful as she stands at the ready.
Naruto and Sasuke look from one to the other before settling on the first. Sasuke vanishes, suddenly reappearing and smashing his elbow into the first Hinata. Hinata stumbles forward, hitting the ground with shock before Naruto's leg flies forward, smashing Hinata in the face and hitting the ground.
Moments pass before the knocked out Hinata puffs into smoke and shows a Rain Shinobi wearing yellow jumpsuit and dislodged breathing mask. Naruto starts searching the ninja, shaking his head when he comes out without a scroll.
"I'm surprised you knew which one was Hinata, Naruto." Sasuke comments with a chuckle.
"Hinata's strong enough to force someone out. Plus, he didn't stammer the cute way Hinata does." Naruto says, standing straight and looks at Sasuke. "Plus, you charged at them to confirm my suspicions. How'd you know?"
"Hinata's right handed. This guy's left handed and had the kunai holster on the wrong side." Sasuke tells him, gaining a surprised nod from Naruto.
"Good eye...didn't feel right attacking Hinata like that." Naruto turns to Hinata, seeing Hinata blush a little from Naruto mentioning cute and strong descriptors for her. "You okay?" Naruto asks, walking over to her, placing a hand on her shoulder and smiles at her.
Hinata nods, blushing as she feels Naruto tighten his grip and feels his thumb brushes her collar. "I...thank you...N-Naruto-kun." she whispers as the trio scan the surroundings. Hinata activates her Byakugan, scanning and spotting none of the ninja's companions above. She pauses, spotting something in the ground several dozen feet away. A human buried in the ground, breathing through a pipe. She turns to the others, quietening herself. "W-We have...another." Hinata warns, looking carefully, seeing the grass symbol. "A d-different team...alone, I think." she whispers nervously.
"Do we seem that weak?" Naruto asks, turning to Sasuke.
"Do I? No. Do you? Yes." Sasuke remarks, looking at Hinata before he activates his Sharingan, scanning the area and he too sees where, though he can only see an aura of chakra coming from the earth. Sasuke pulls out a kunai with an explosive tag, throwing it at the location.
It hits and explodes immediately, sending wood, rock and dirt to fly across the forest. Team 7 raises their arms to block any bit of debris that fly at them, gaining a few metal taps from Naruto's attire. Smoke fills the area, drifting slightly as they wait.
"Hinata?" Naruto asks, slowly pulling out a scroll.
"H-He's still th-there...h-he doesn't s-seem fazed..." Hinata says, a hint of fear as she sees the person stand up and seems to wait. Their hands become a blur, even Hinata couldn't see what hand signs he was wielding which shocked her. Before she can warn her two companions, a solid blast of wind, almost like a vortex cannon tearing through the earth, rocks, trees being uprooted and flying.
Sasuke having already dived as a second natured reaction from a sudden attack had him rolling across the dirt, narrowly avoiding the blast.
Hinata screams as her feet leave the ground as the blast goes to throw her with the attack. She feels a strong grip on her left wrist, hurting her as she looks, seeing Naruto grabbing her, pulling her close as he lays on top of her. He is screaming from what she can see, all noise is drowned out by the wind jutsu. She tries to talk, her eyes widening as the wind velocity is so great that she's having difficulty breathing. She cares not for that at the moment, she fears for his safety, seeing parts of his armour on the back being torn off but his feet and wrists remain affixed to the ground. Hinata realises his weights are keeping him in place. She fears his body will give out and get blasted away with the attack, leaving his weights behind. Hinata feels a few cuts from the flying pieces of shrapnel, crying in fear as she clings to Naruto, feeling his body flap against the wind.
Moments later, the wind ceases and the forest becomes silent. No animal, no human, not even the wind itself seems to wish to break the silence. Sasuke stares at the destruction, the landscape that was behind him looking as if a landslide happened. He stands, suddenly finding himself breathing once more. Why did he stop breathing? Was he afraid? Sasuke looks at his hand, wondering if it's shaking from fear or excitement.
Coughing comes from nearby rubble, forcing Sasuke to glance, seeing Hinata sliding from beneath Naruto. Sasuke curses, not realising he dodged without thinking of Hinata, nor Naruto for that matter. "Hinata! Are you okay?" Sasuke asks, pulling out a kunai and slowly hurries to her, keeping his eyes fixed at the original source of the attack.
"I-I th-think so..." Hinata says, coughing as she is glad she can breath again. She looks to Naruto, seeing him coughing as he shakes, his arms and legs shaking from pinning himself down like that. Blood seems from some parts of Naruto's back, quickly healing as he tries to force himself up. "N-Naruto, please. D-Don't push y-yourself."
"He may have to." Sasuke says, watching as the figure walks out from the treeline, a small smirk printed on their face as an elongated tongue slips out, sliding up the right side of their face and licks along their frame.
"That bastard...was right when...it came to these...weights." Naruto chuckles, forcing himself to stand. "The body will...give up before they do." Naruto says, looking back and seeing the newcomer. "That all you got, bitch?" Naruto asks, smirking and cracking his shaking limbs before raising his middle finger at them.
"I'm surprised you didn't go flying. I was hoping to separate you all so I can play with my prey. But if I must have all my meal at once...Well...there's no helping that." she says, removing their straw hat. They reach behind and pull out an Earth Scroll, gaining the three Genin's attention. "By your reactions, this seems the be the scroll you need." she smirks, placing it in their mouth, tongue wrapping around it and swallowing it whole.
Hinata looks fearful, her hand going to her mouth. Sasuke being disgusted though concerned. Naruto looks in shock and confusion. "Jeez...talk about deep throating." Naruto says, gaining a blush from Hinata and a small exhale of humour from Sasuke.
"One of us will have two scrolls." the grass ninja says, smiling themselves as their hand brushes their face, fingers tearing into their skin and eye. Pure bloodlust exhume from them, their slitted, golden eyes staring at the three as a predator does prey.
Hinata falls to her right, her left arm flying in blood and her neck hanging on by a thread as blood splatters on the nearby like of rubble. Sasuke falls forward, seeing his own intestines spill out as his right eye flies from its socket, his skull being split in two. Naruto, standing in the middle of the two stands straight, his neck straining as the woman places her feet on top of his and her cold, blood stained hands wrap around his neck, locked under his jaw as she pulls upwards. The sounds of bones break as Naruto's sight goes high, losing sensation as his spine follows the head as it leaves the body, blood spraying all over the woman.
Sasuke hits the ground, his body shaking and he vomits, fear and shock going through him as he looks, seeing with both eyes and no blood on the ground. 'Genjutsu?' Sasuke wonders, his body shaking as he forces his trembling head to turn. His eyes widen, seeing Hinata on her side, her body convulsing with fear as vomit and drool leak from the corner of her lips, staring into nothing. Naruto remains standing, but his body shakes. Naruto's eyes stare straight ahead, looking at the woman as a little bit of drool leaks from his lips. Naruto tries to swallow, his body shivering as he tries to figure out what the hell just happened. 'No...this is blood lust.' Sasuke says to himself, trembling as he tries to stand up. 'I saw my own death...we saw out own death. What the hell is she? No...it.' he says to himself, slowly standing, his heart elevating. "N-Naruto..." Sasuke stammers, his right hand reaching down to grasp a kunai. "You still with us?"
"Yeah...Yeah..." Naruto tells Sasuke, keeping mainly focused due to the physical pain he's in. "Ever experience...this before?" Naruto asks, feeling unsure.
"No..." Sasuke replies, glancing at the woman. "Grab Hinata and run..." Sasuke orders, clenching his teeth as he holds his kunai with his shaking fist.
Naruto turns, seeing Hinata on the floor, his eyes widening in shock and anger. "Hinata!"
"Fascinating. Most tend to become too paralysed to do anything." the woman says with a smirk, taking a few steps forward. "More tend to end up as the girl is currently."
"Naruto, get Hinata out of here!" Sasuke orders, slowly reaching for the kunai blade and grips the blade. His pain receptors shoot up his arm, bringing focus to Sasuke as he steadies himself. Naruto steps forward, angering Sasuke. "Damn it, Naruto! Get Hinata and-"
The ground explodes and the Glass ninja flies back from a sudden force and crunching sounds as they smash into a nearby tree. Naruto's fist is stabbing into the woman's guts, his rage forcing him to push deeper, to push higher to get behind the chest cavity. The Grass ninja's eyes are wide with surprise, seeing Naruto's blue eyes turned crimson. "Oh my...we appear to have the Nine Tailed brat." They say under the strain, chuckling. "Are you enjoying, fisting me?"
Naruto roars, thrusting upwards at a stronger push. The Grass ninja explodes into mud and splatter across the tree. Naruto looks startled, quickly scanning for any sign of the real one.
Naruto does three hand signs, building up chakra as his perceptions go and quickly turns, stopping at the motion as a giant snake flies out and seeks to consume Naruto. "Wind Style: Dust Storm Jutsu!" Naruto releases a large stream of dust in a cone, violently blasting into the snake. The snake is being pushed back, its flesh tearing away rapidly from their body like a sand blaster, showing its muscles and bones before it explodes from the force.
"Fire Style; Fireball Jutsu." a voice calls, soon flying from the forest near where the Dust Storm Jutsu is tearing through, hitting the dusty wind and flowing through it, increasing in size as it behinds to burn through the incoming wind, heading towards Naruto.
Sasuke appears, landing on Naruto's shoulders and quickly does several hand signs. "Fire Style; Great Fireball Jutsu!" Sasuke yells, breathing out a greater fireball into the wind, growing rapidly as it pushes and collides with the other fire. Nearly matching in power alone much to Sasuke's surprise. The nearby forest explodes from the continued collusion, sending Naruto and Sasuke back. The two roll, regaining their footing as they stand at the ready.
Sasuke's Sharingan eyes glance to Naruto, annoyed. "Naruto, get Hinata out of here! She needs to recover! I can dodge her attacks!"
"You get Hinata out of here!" Naruto yells, anger growing thrice more. "They hurt her!"
"Exactly! She needs to be some place safe! I have lightning to counter his earth and fire to counter theirs." Sasuke clenches his jaw.
"And fucking powerful wind Jutsu!" Naruto yells, clearly getting angrier.
Sasuke spots something, looking and cursing as he vanishes. Naruto looks, soon spotting what Sasuke did. A giant snake is coiling around Hinata, much to Naruto's horror. Naruto rushes to her, seeing the snake's mouth opening to consume her.
Lightning escapes the top of the snake's head as a blade pierces through and its handle hitting the roof of the snake's mouth. Sasuke holds the handle tightly, his feet pressed against the power lip of the snake and the back of the snake's jaw. Sasuke yells, pulling hard and slicing through the snake's head as he jumps, spinning and landing on the ground near Hinata. Naruto jumps, landing by then with a heavy thud. "Hinata!" Naruto yells, grabbing her and pulling her loose from the snake's bind.
"Naruto, take Hinata!" Sasuke yells, seeing Naruto begin to object, but Sasuke cuts him off. "Naruto! You may be able to take a hit, but you won't last long in that regards. I can see and dodge the attacks, so I will last longer! I'd feel better knowing you were protecting her than I saw."
Naruto's eyes widen in surprise and shock. "What?"
"Look, you may be able to defend Hinata with your body and survive the hits. I can't guarantee I can do the same. I am an avenger and I can't fight fully if I can't focus on my own defences...I don't need...a weakness."
Naruto stares at him for a few moments, looking beyond him and seeing the nearby trees burning. Naruto blinks, his eyes turning blue as he picks Hinata up bridal style, looking down at her shivering body. Naruto doesn't know how much she's understanding of her surroundings, but Naruto can only guess she's listening. "Sasuke...Hinata is not a weakness...She's our friend who wants us to survive. She doesn't want to be a weakness and she's worked hard to match our pace...even if we didn't do it together as we did at the beginning. She's what brought me strength and I know she brought some strength to you to." Naruto tells him, a hint of annoyance in his voice as he jumps, vanishing into the treeline. Sasuke clenches his fist around his katana's handle so tightly, his knuckles are growing white.
"What an emotional speech." a voice comes from behind Sasuke, making his eyes widen. "Too bad it'll be lost in the history books."
Sasuke spins to his right with his katana, seeing the Grass ninja standing with her feet fused to the tree. Sasuke's sword stops a few inches from the woman's head, his hand caught by hers, gripping tight as her left arm points at Sasuke.
"Striking Shadow Snakes." Several stakes quickly wrap around Sasuke and their fangs ready themselves. "Are you ready to die, Uchiha?"
Sasuke strains against the snake, pausing as they turn their head to look at the woman. "No...are you?" Sasuke asks, smirking as their body turns a bright blue as his body explodes into lightning.
The woman yells in surprise, lightning coursing through their body and destroying the surrounding ground. Another Sasuke dives from above, their blade coated with lightning as they slice through the woman's left shoulder and landing behind her, squatting. He remains down, swipes across the legs before jumping once more, slicing through their other arm and jumping over the woman, landing in front of her and slices once more across her neck.
Sasuke shakes a little, taking a breath as he sheaths his katana. The Grass Kunoichi's limps and head detach, blood spraying from the severed limbs and torso. Sasuke looks at her, his body shaking from his frightening experience, trying to determine if this is fake or not. Several seconds pass, the crackling of fire being the only sound nearby. "Very good, Sasuke." her voice comes, coming from the severed head which faces away from Sasuke.
Sasuke's eyes widen in shock, seeing snakes slither from the torso and limbs, seemingly fusing together as they begin to attach back to the body. The head twists and a fanged smile comes as the predatory eyes of this woman seem bemused, not even close to acting like they were decapitated. They slowly raise from the floor, their slightly charred and blood stained body dripping and cracking from the limited movement. She soon stands above Sasuke, looking down at his Sharingan eyes, staring back and feeling fear.
"What the hell are you?" Sasuke asks, swallowing.
"Your future." she says with a smirk as she opens her mouth to show the tip of a blade before launching it at Sasuke.

Naruto sits Hinata down on a tree branch, looking at her as she continues to shiver, staring into nothing. Naruto curses, checking his pouches and pulls out a small canteen, unscrewing it and pours some on a small cloth. He reaches forward, the cloth brushing against her cheeks, forehead and rubbing away what tears trickle down her cheeks. Moments pass as Hinata's eyes begin to focus, swallowing as she looks to Naruto, seeing his blue eyes. Tears build up once more, her lips parting as she clenches her teeth, beginning to proper ugly cry as she reaches for Naruto and clutching at his arm, weeping hard as she remembers the feeling of dying and seeing Naruto dying from the bloodlust. Naruto looks guilty, resting on his knees as he pulls Hinata into his chest. He hardly feels Hinata, noticing her practically scratching at him and he curses. He raises his hands, unfastening his armour straps to drop said armour to hold Hinata close to his chest.
Guilt is what Naruto feels, guilt from focusing on payback than Hinata's well being. Sasuke knew she was vulnerable and needed help. Naruto thinks, knowing Sasuke would feel uncomfortable doing this, even Naruto feels like this is alien as no one has clung to him in sorrow. Naruto's hand brushes the back of her head, feeling his shirt soaking from the tears.
Naruto looks into the forest, swallowing a little as he places his hands on her shoulders. "Hinata..." Naruto whispers, pulling her away as she takes a deep, shaken breaths. "I need to go back and help Sasuke. He's alone back there and that...thing is fighting him. Can you stand?" Naruto asks, gaining a shaky nod as she goes to try and stand, but her knees are still weak from the shock. Naruto does his signature hand sign, creating five Shadow Clones to slowly and carefully lifting Hinata to her feet. Naruto motions her and has her lean her on his clone who supports her weight. The clone to her left are removing her light weight bands to give her some relief.
"N-N-Naruto-k-kun..." Hinata stammers, trying to regain control of herself.
"I know Hinata...that thing isn't human. I need to go and save Sasuke. You know how crap he is." Naruto says, giving a small, fake laugh which even Hinata can see through.
"N-N-No...N-Naruto-kun...I-I" Hinata continues to stammer.
Naruto reaches behind him, notices something and curses. "Damn it, my whip scroll must've went flying. Go find it." Naruto orders one of his five clones who nods and jumps away. Naruto looks to another who transforms into a whip which Naruto grabs and wraps around his shoulder. Naruto thinks, looking at the other clone helping Hinata and holds out his hand, taking her weights and pulls something out from his back pouch and begins to play with his right wristband. "Hinata...I can't think of anything smart to do...so I'm going to do something crazy. My clones will protect you with their lives." Naruto says, looking at her, seeing tears in her eye still.
"N-Naruto-kun...p-p-please, I-I-I..." her voice keeps breaking.
Naruto reaches back, taking the Heaven Scroll and places it in her hands. He reaches up with his left hand, cupping her cheek as his thumb brushes away her tears from her right cheek. "I promise I won't die. I'll be back, okay? Believe it." Naruto says with a smile that eases some of the shivering, but she still looks at Naruto, wanting to tell him something. "Wait for me." he says before he vanishes.
'Naruto-kun...I love you...'

Sasuke yells in pain, feeling the side of his head slashes, his headband having snapped to the point a third of it broke. Sasuke rolls, grabbing into the right side of his head as blood gushes out, feeling the tip of the top of his right ear missing. His scalp is parted and he feels the bone of his skull, a small scratch across the surface. His head is already inflamed as he quickly and weakly does a few hand signs. He forces the scalp to press together as he breathes a small amount of fire that lingers on his finger before pressing and sliding along the injury, cauterizing the wound. The smell of burnt flesh, hair and blood fills the air.
"You did well. You swung your katana infused with chakra to deflect the attack, losing your blade in the process to give you ample enough time to dodge. If not for your Sharingan, you'd have not known the best angle to dodge without losing something major in the process." the woman says, impresses as she looks down at Sasuke's katana blade as the hilt and stub lie near Sasuke's body. "Your chakra work is to be desired and you chose the wrong weapon to deflect as my weapon can cut through nearly anything." she informs him, taking a few steps forward. "Seering the wound shut? Impressive quick actions to prevent bleeding. Hopefully you don't die from the shock process of it all.
"I'm going to have to shake Neko's hand for teaching me to dodge...before I tear his fucking head off." Sasuke mutters to himself, keeping his back to the woman as he quickly does a few hand signs before slamming his palm into the floor. "Lightning Style; Rapid Currents Jutsu!" he calls, lifting his legs off the ground to only have his palms on as the dirt ground crackles and spark.
The Grass kunoichi feels their legs spasm, shaking her head. "Rather foolish, there's a conductor of your blade that's making it less effective." she comments, glancing back at the blade vibrates and sparks out little spouts of lightning behind her.
"I was counting on it!" Sasuke yells, making her turn to see he's only on one hand now as his hand holds the hilt and stub towards her. The stub begins to spark, making her eyes widen with surprise before a sharp pain cuts through their stomach as collides with the hilt. Sasuke releases the jutsu, hitting the ground as the blade flies away once more from the collision.
The Grass ninja looks down, seeing blood seeping from their abdomen. She brushes it and a small, bemused chuckle comes from her. "You really are the perfect candidate." she says, her voice breaking, sounding more mannish.
Sasuke's eyes widen, confused by the voice change as fingers escape the woman's mouth. Her jaw becomes unhinged, her flesh tearing as another hand pushes against the roof of her mouth and a head begins to escape the body. Slime covers the person's body before the pale face and devilish smile of Orochimaru himself looks before Sasuke. The lower half of their body remains within the previous vessel as he begins to do a hand sign when he notices something above.
Orochimaru looks up, soon feeling a heavy foot landing on his lower jaw and another one planted on his face. The force and weight forces Orochimaru to unhinge his jaw involuntarily and much to his surprise, he feels a heavy force go through his throat, aiming for his stomach.
"Eat this!" Naruto roars, his fingers undoing a clasp before he feels his fingers brush something. He grabs it and pulls his hand back, quickly jumping back and tackling Sasuke to the ground.
Orochimaru has the sensation of being violated for the first time. Though that changes to confusion as his entire stomach drops in a very literal sense as he and the skin of the body he was exiting collapses from a large amount of weight. Orochimaru grabs his stomach, baffled by what the hell the child just left in his stomach. His stomach expands rapidly before his entire abdomen explodes with a firey explosion, sending blood and intestines everywhere. The husk vaporises from the explosion as the torso flies away, hitting the nearby tree before it splatters on the floor.
Naruto pins Sasuke to the ground, covering him from the explosion. Naruto slowly raises himself, looking over at the fiery, bloody mess he had just left Orochimaru and smirks. Sasuke looks at the carnage before turning to Naruto. "What the hell did you do?"
"I tied Hinata's weights to my right weight wristband." Naruto informs him, showing his tan lined wrist. "I also wrapped it around with all the paper bombs I had so he'd get a nasty care of 'Fiarrhoea.'" Naruto tells him, chuckling at his own joke of mixing fire with diarrhoea.
Sasuke looks from Naruto to the mess and nods, admittedly impressed. "Not bad...for a loser."
"I also got this." Naruto says, showing a slimy Earth Scroll in his left hand.
Sasuke stares at it before he genuinely starts to laugh.
Naruto begins to cackle himself, flipping the scroll in his hand. A pain hits Naruto, opening his eyes in confusion. Sasuke notices the sudden silence, looking at Naruto as his eyes widen. A blade is sticking out of Naruto's chest, a blade much too long, a blade that comes from the smoking carnage.
"I must admit. I don't know whether to admire your ingenuity or to be angry. I'm not feeling anger, or perhaps I've come full circle when it comes to my anger towards you, Nine Tailed brat." Orochimaru remarks, stepping forward which pushes the blade further through Naruto's chest. Naruto coughs up blood, looking down and in shock as the blade pushes through him. "What...the fuck?" Naruto comments, reaching for the blade in confusion.
"Are those really your last words?" Orochimaru asks, taking another step forward.
Naruto's shoulders slump, his whip dropping from it. "No...are those yours?" Naruto asks, grabbing the handle of his whip as it falls. He pushes, turning hard with the blade through him, blood gushing from his chest and throat as he flicks his whip towards Orochimaru. Chakra infuses the whip as he was within whipping reach of the Snake Sanin, hitting the wrist with a Wind Style chakra, severing the hand.
Orochimaru is surprised, seeing his hand fly off in a random direction, leaving the blade hanging in the air as it remains sheathed in Naruto. He glances back at the two and sees a primal rage from Sasuke. Sasuke's hands are a blur as kunai, shuriken and even the hilt of his blade fly towards Orochimaru, infused with lightning and even some flaming ones. "Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu! Lightning Style: Slicing Net Jutsu! Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!" Sasuke roars in quick, blinding succession.
Those weapons aflame hurtle to Orochimaru. Those lightning covered suddenly interlink into a net like barrier as a giant fireball follows after them. Orochimaru smiles, so pleased at his future host.
A small team lands on a nearby branch. Hinata looks at the ongoing battle with Naruto's three clones. Her eyes wide in shock, fear, sickness as she sees Naruto kneeling with an extended blade going through his bloodstained chest. "NARUTO!" Hinata screams.
