Navi Squad's Base
The group continue their way down the path through Tagtree Thicket until they finally see the walls of the Team Star base.
"There it is." said Stan.
"So, are we ready for this?" asked Kyle.
"Yeah!" said Kenny. As Lincoln looks at the base, he sees two Team Star grunts talking to two boys with dark skin, one wearing a Naranja Academy uniform, and one wearing a Uva Academy uniform.
"Do us a favor and go home, will ya?" asked a Team Star grunt.
"Yeah, we don't want no little kids hanging around our base and throwing off the intimidating vibe we're trying to create." said the other grunt.
"NO! We want to see the bosses of the Navi Squad!" said the Uva boy.
"Yeah! Take us to the Don Atticuses!" said the Naranja boy.
"We're not supposed to let outsiders in here!" said a Team Star grunt.
"Yeah, that includes you kids!" said the other grunt.
"We don't care!" said the Uva boy.
"Yeah, we're not leaving until we talk to the Don Atticuses!" said the Naranja boy.
"Give us a break, will ya?" asked a Team Star grunt with exasperation. Lincoln, Edd, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman look at each other.
"What should we do?" asked Stan.
"Let's get a little closer." said Kenny.
"Good idea." said Kenny. The group walks towards the gate, getting the boys and Team Star grunts' attentions.
"What the.." said one of the Team Star grunts.
"Oh great. Here comes some more randoes to ruin our day." said the other grunt.
"We didn't think grunt work for Team Star would be this much of a chore." said the other Team Star grunt. One of the grunts gets a close look at Lincoln.
"Hey! Aren't you that Lincoln Loud kid that Iono likes?" asked the Team Star grunt.
"Yeah?" replied Lincoln with a blush on his face.
"Aww, man! A lot of us guys here saw your little dinner with Iono, and we're kind of jealous of you." said the Team Star grunt.
"And the fact that some other girl was fighting her over you made us more jealous." said the other Team Star grunt. The young boys look closely at the group.
"Aren't you guys the ones who took on the Schedar Squad?" asked the Uva boys.
"Wait! You're the ones who defeated the Melas?" asked one of the grunts.
"That's right!" said Cartman.
"And I think that one of the Melas think this Lincoln kid is cute." said the other grunt. Lincoln blushes in response, while Ronnie Anne, who was close enough to hear, growl.
"Anyway, everyone else is still asleep since we were all up last night, playing video games." said one of the grunts.
"Big deal." said Stan. "Me, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny stayed up for three days straight playing video games, and we were able to go on with our day afterwards."
"Really?!" replied Lincoln. "How did you manage that?"
"LOTS of energy drinks." replied Kenny.
"Man, your dedication to video games puts me to shame." said Lincoln. The two boys suddenly get an idea.
"Leave these boys to us, Mr. Grunt!" said the Naranja boy.
"Yeah, we'll buy you some time to go wake up the others." said the Uva boy.
"Yeah? And what's in it for you?" asked a Team Star grunt.
"Both Don Atticuses will be in danger if no one's here to defend the base." said the Naranja boy.
"We owe them our lives." said the Uva Boy. "They're our dear compadres."
"And when crisis calls, one has no choice but to rally to those dear to them." said the Naranja boy.
"No matter the cost." said the Uva boy.
"Yeah, we have no idea what you're on about, kids." said a Team Star grunt.
"But thanks for the assist." said the other grunt. Both grunts entered the base, leaving both boys with Lincoln, Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny, and Edd.
"All right, you villains!" said the Naranja boy. "If you're after both Don Atticuses, prepare to feel our wrath." Lincoln turned towards the others.
"So, who wants to take these two on?" asked Lincoln.
"I'll take on one of them." said Cartman, stepping forward.
"Me too." said Kenny. He and Cartman walked towards the two boys. The two boys each pull a pokeball out of their pockets.
"Gulpin, go!" said both boys, throwing their pokeballs and releasing small green Pokemon with a yellow feather on their heads. Lincoln takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Gulpin, the Stomach Pokemon. There is nothing its stomach can't digest. While it is digesting, vile, overpowering gases are expelled." said Lincoln's Rotom Phone.
"Sounds like Cartman." said Kyle.
"Totally." said Stan. Edd points his Rotom Phone at Gulpin.
"Gulpin, the Stomach Pokemon. It has a small heart and brain. Its stomach comprises most of its body, with enzymes to dissolve anything." said Edd's Rotom Phone.
"Also sounds like Cartman." said Kyle. Back at the battle, Cartman and Kenny each pull out a pokeball.
"Pupitar, go!" said Cartman, throwing his pokeball and releasing Pupitar.
"You too, Clodsire!" said Kenny, throwing his pokeball and releasing Clodsire.
"Okay, Pupitar, use Stomping Tantrum!" said Cartman. Pupitar jumps up and down on the ground, sending pieces of the ground flying at a Gulpin and hitting it, doing super effective damage to it.
"Clodsire, Mud Shot!" said Kenny. Clodsire fires a big glob of brown mud out of its mouth, and it hits the other Gulpin, dealing super effective damage to it.
"Man, I wish Clodsire would use that move on me." said Lana.
"Acid Spray!" said both boys. Both Gulpins release streams of purple liquid out of their mouths and hitting Pupitar and Clodsire, not doing much damage to them, but weakened their defenses.
"Pupitar, Rock Slide!" said Cartman. Pupitar lets out a yell and gray rocks fall from the sky and onto both Gulpins, knocking them out.
"No way!" said the Naranja boy.
"Ha ha!" said Cartman. Both boys return their Gulpins to their pokeballs and then they each pulled out another.
"I don't think this battle's over yet." said Kenny.
"You bet it isn't!" said the Uva boy. Both boys throw their pokeballs and release Shroodles.
"They have Shroodles too." said Ed.
"You have a Shroodle too?" asked Lisa.
"Yeah, but he evolved into Grafaiai." said Ed.
"So Shroodles evolve into Grafaiais?" asked Lisa.
"You bet your sweet bippy they do." said Ed.
"Fascinating." said Lisa. Back at the battle.
"Clodsire, use Slam!" said Kenny. Clodsire leaps at the Naranja boy's Clodsire and slams his tail onto it, damaging it.
"Use Slash on Clodsire!" said the Naranja boy. His Shroodle leaps at Kenny's Clodsire and swipes its front paw at him, hitting him, and dealt more damage to him due to his defense being weakened by Gulpin's Acid Spray.
"Use Bite on that fat kid's Pupitar!" said the Uva boy.
"Hey!" said Cartman. The Uva boy's Shroodle leaps at Pupitar and bites him, dealing more damage due to his weakened defense. Bite didn't cause Pupitar to flinch.
"Use Payback on that Uva kid's Shroodle for calling me fat!" yelled Cartman.
"Well, you are." said Lynn. "I mean, come on, I'm guessing the Paldea Region sank a couple feet into the ocean when you stepped onto it." Pupitar releases a massive barrage of beams from his body onto the Uva boy's Shroodle, damaging it.
"Clodsire, Mud Shot!" said Kenny. Clodsire fires another glob of mud at the Naranja boy's Shroodle, dealing super effective damage and knocking it out.
"No!" said the Naranja boy.
"Shroodle, use Poison Fang!" said the Uva boy. His Shroodle leaps at Pupitar while its teeth glowed purple, and bites Pupitar, damaging him. It turned purple under Pupitar's eyes. "Ha ha. Your Pupitar's poisoned!" A thin layer of Pupitar's skin suddenly breaks off and he was no longer poisoned.
"Ha ha. Pupitar's Shed Skin ability activated!" said Cartman.
"What does Shed Skin do?" Lisa asked out loud.
"It's a very cool ability." said Lincoln. "It cures a Pokemon of a status condition by shedding a layer of its skin."
"Interesting." said Lisa.
"Pupitar, use Smack Down!" said Cartman. Pupitar forms a golden ball of energy and launches it at Shroodle, hitting it and knocking it out.
"No way!" said the Uva boy.
"We win!" said Cartman and he high fives Kenny. Both boys drop to their knees and returned their Shroodles to their pokeballs.
"Don Atticuses. We're sorry we failed you." said the Naranja boy. Lincoln, Edd, Stan, and Kyle walked over to Cartman and Kenny.
"Are you two academy students?" asked Stan.
"Yeah, you two don't look like Team Star members." said Kyle.
"You're right, we're not." said the Naranja boy.
"But the Don Atticuses are our compadres." said the Uva boy. "We have to see him no matter what."
"Fine, we'll help you get to them." said Lincoln.
"Really?" asked the boys.
"Sure, just give us some time to clear the way." said Stan.
"Thanks, you guys." said the boys. All of a sudden, Lincoln, Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny, and Edd's Rotom Phones fly out of their pockets. Lincoln figured out who was causing it easily enough.
"Hi, Cassiopeia." said Lincoln.
"Hello, everyone." said Cassiopeia. "I assume you're all ready to take on the Navi Squad?"
"I'm ready." said Kyle.
"Totally." said Stan.
"Uh huh." said Kenny.
"Yeah!" said Cartman.
"Indeed." said Edd.
"You bet." said Lincoln.
"Excellent." says Cassiopeia. "I will contact you all again once that Team Star base is taken care of."
"Okay." said Stan. Their Rotom Phones fly back into their pockets.
"So, who's ringing the bell?" asked Stan.
"Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me!" said Cartman.
"All right, Cartman; ring the stupid bell." said Kyle.
"Kewl!" said Cartman as he walks over to the gate and rings the bell. The gate opens and the group enters. As soon as they were inside, they hear an announcement over the loudspeakers.
"Attention! The kids who took down the Melas' base are here and think they can take us on!" said the announcer. The boys look and see a lot of Team Star members coming out of tents, and throwing pokeballs, releasing a large variety of poison type Pokemon, such as Grimers, Sevipers, Shroodles, Grafaiais, Venonats, Venomoths, Woopers, and Clodsires."Give these kids the boot, gang! Let's show them what our squad can do!"
"Let's do this, guys!" said Lincoln as he releases his Skeledirge, Pawmot, and Lycanroc. Stan releases his Quaxwell, Sandygast, and Litleo; Kyle releases his Flittle, Donphan, and Glimmet; Cartman releases his Crocalor, Pupitar, and Pikachu; Kenny releases his Clodsire, Corvisquire, and Cloyster; and Edd releases his Quaxwell, Naclstack, and Bronzor.
"Okay! Quaxwell, you take on the Sevipers; Sandygast, you take on those Grimers; and Litleo, take on the Venonats!" said Stan.
"Flittle, you take on the Grafaiais; Donphan, you take on the Clodsires; and Glimmet, you take on the Shroodles!" said Kyle.
"Crocalor, take on those Venonats also; Pupitar, you take care of the Grafaiais; and Pikachu, take on those Shroodles!" said Cartman.
"Clodsire, take on the Sevipers, Corvisquire, help take on the Venonats; and Cloyster, take on Team Star's Clodsires!" said Kenny.
"Skeledirge, take on the Venomoths; Pawmot, help take on the Grimers; and Lycanroc, help take on the Grafaiais!" said Lincoln.
"Quaxwell, please assist with the Venonats; Naclstack, please assist with the Shroodles; and Bronzor, please assist with the Woopers!" said Edd. All their Pokemon charged towards their assigned targets, and the battle was just as intense as the one at the Schedar Squad's base. Meanwhile, outside the base, the rest of the group were watching the battle on Butter's Rotom Phone.
"Man, I don't like being on the sidelines like this while Lincoln and his friends are having all the fun." said Lynn.
"Yeah, we should be in there with him!" said Lana.
"Next base we get to, we're helping him, and we won't take no for an answer!" said Lola.
"Have you ever taken no for an answer?" asked Lana.
"Good point." said Lola. Back in the base, Team Star's Pokemon were being defeated at a decent pace. Soon, they realized they were in over their heads.
"These kids are too much!" said a Team Star member.
"Yeah, we need the bosses for these guys!" said another Team Star member. Suddenly, a large tent opens up, showing another Starmobile. On top were two identical males, both dressed in orange, magenta, black, and green ninjalike outfits with slime like designs on them. But one had more orange on his legs (Naranja Atticus), while the other one had more purple (Uva Atticus).
"I take it you guys are the Atticuses?" asked Stan.
"Indeed, wretches." said Naranja Atticus.
"Naught but punishment await thee!" said Uva Atticus. "A plague on all your houses!" Back outside, Leni was cringing at the Atticuses outfits.
"Ick! Those colors totes don't go together!" said Leni.
"My ninja outfit is cooler." said Lynn.
"I think those outfits look cool." said Ed.
"Whatever." said Eddy. Back in the base, the boys were deciding who would battle them.
"So, who wants to take them on?" asked Lincoln.
"I want to have a go at them." said Kyle. "You and Double-D took on the last two base leaders."
"Yeah, I wanna take them on too." said Cartman.
"Okay, go for it." said Lincoln as he, Stan, Kenny, and Edd stepped back to give them some space. Both Atticuses each pull out a pokeball.
"Skuntank, come forth!" said the Naranja Atticus, throwing the pokeball and releasing a purple and tan, skunk like Pokemon. Kyle takes out his pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Skuntank, the Skunk Pokemon. It attacks by spraying a horribly smelly fluid from the tip of its tail. Attacks from above confound it." said Kyle's Rotom Phone. Edd takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Skuntank.
"Skuntank, the Skunk Pokemon. It attacks by spraying a repugnant fluid from its tail, but the stench dulls after a few squirts." said Edd's Rotom Phone.
"Skuntank, go!" said the Uva Atticus, throwing a pokeball and releasing another Skuntank. Kyle pulls a pokeball out of his pocket.
"Skuntank's part dark, so Flittle's psychic type attacks won't work on them, but they're still vulnerable to ground type moves." said Kyle. "Donphan, come out!" He throws Donphan's pokeball and releases him. Cartman pulls out a pokeball.
"Pupitar, go!" said Cartman, throwing Pupitar's pokeball and releasing him.
"Skuntank, Sucker Punch!" both Atticuses say in unison. The Skuntanks quickly leap at Donphan and Pupitar and strikes them with their paws.
"Donphan, Stomping Tantrum!" said Kyle.
"You too, Pupitar!" said Cartman. Donphan begins stomping the ground with his front feet while Pupitar jumps up and down on the ground, both releasing shards of the ground onto the Skuntanks, hitting them and dealing super effective damage.
"Now use Slam!" said Kyle. Donphan runs to the Uva Atticus' Skuntank and lifts it up with his tusks, and then slams it onto the ground.
"Use Smack Down!" said Cartman. Pupitar releases a golden ball of energy from his body and launches it at Naranja Atticus' Skuntank and hits it.
"Skuntank, Poison Gas!" said Uva Atticus. Skuntank releases a brown gas from its mouth and onto Donphan, poisoning it.
"No, Donphan's poisoned!" said Kyle.
"Skuntank, Bite!" said Naranja Atticus. Skuntank leaps at Pupitar and bites him, damaging him and making him flinch. Donphan coughs from his poisoning and loses a little stamina.
"Donphan, Rollout!" said Kyle. Donphan rolls towards Uva Atticus' Skuntank and rams it, knocking it out.
"No, Skuntank!" said Uva Atticus.
"Skuntank, Sucker Punch!" said Naranja Atticus. Skuntank leaps at Pupitar and hits it with its paw, knocking him back.
"Pupitar, Stomping Tantrum!" said Cartman. Pupitar jumps onto the ground and releases shards of it onto Naranja Uva's Skuntank, dealing super effective damage to it and knocking it out.
"Skuntank!" said Naranja Atticus. Donphan coughs from his poisoning and loses some stamina. Both Atticuses return their Skuntanks to their pokeballs. They put them in their pockets and they each pull out another pokeball.
"Muk, go!" said both Atticuses, throwing the pokeballs and releasing what appeared to be bigger Grimers. Kyle points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Muk, the Sludge Pokemon and the evolved form of Grimer. It's thickly covered with a filthy, vile sludge. It is so toxic, even its footprints contain poison." said Kyle's Rotom Phone. Edd points his Rotom Phone at Muk.
"Muk, the Sludge Pokemon and the evolved form of Grimer. It's so stinky! Muk's body contains toxic elements, and any plant will wilt when it passes by." said Edd's Rotom Phone. Meanwhile, outside the base, Lana was looking at the Muk with interest.
"So, my Grimer will evolve into that?" asked Lana. "Cool!" Back in the base.
"You still want to battle, Donphan!" asked Kyle. Donphan responds by rolling towards Muk and ramming it, knocking it back.
"Pupitar, Rock Slide!" said Cartman. Pupitar lets out a yell and releases gray rocks onto both Muks.
"Sludge Wave!" said Uva Atticus. Muk releases a wave of dark purple sludge onto Donphan, damaging him.
"Mud Shot!" said Naranja Atticus. His Muk fires a huge ball of brown mud out of its mouth, and it hits Pupitar, dealing super effective damage and lowering his speed. Donphan coughs and loses more stamina. Donphan rolls at Naranja Atticus Muk and rams it, knocking it out.
"No, Muk!" exclaimed Uva Atticus.
"Muk, Mud-Slap!" said Naranja Atticus. Muk releases a stream of mud out of its mouth and onto Pupitar, dealing super effective damage and lowering his accuracy.
"Payback!" said Cartman. Pupitar releases streams of black energy from his body and it hits Uva Atticus' Muk, knocking it out.
"Muk!" yelled Naranja Atticus.
"You want to give up?" asked Kyle.
"Never!" said Uva Atticus. He and Naranja Atticus return their Muks to their pokeballs. They put their Muk's pokeballs away and pull out another.
"Revavroom, go!" said both Atticuses, throwing pokeballs and releasing Revavarooms.
"Use Assurance!" said Uva Atticus. Uva Atticus Revavroom rolls towards Donphan and rams him, knocking him out.
"Donphan, no!" said Kyle.
"Revavroom, Iron Head!" said Naranja Atticus. Revavroom becomes surrounded by a white aura and rolls towards Pupitar, ramming him, dealing super effective damage and knocking him out.
"Hey!" yelled Cartman.
"Don't give up, you two!" said Lincoln.
"We believe in you!" said Kenny. Kyle returns Donphan to his pokeball.
"You did great out there, Donphan." said Kyle and he puts Donphan's pokeball in his pocket. Cartman returns Pupitar to his pokeball.
"You were kewl, Pupitar." said Cartman and he puts Pupitar's pokeball in his pocket. He and Kyle each pull out a pokeball.
"Revavrooms are part steel, so they're weak against fire." said Kyle. "Fletchinder, go!" He throws Fletchinder's pokeball and releases her.
"Go, Pikachu!" said Cartman, throwing Pikachu's pokeball and releasing her.
"Fletchinder, Flame Charge!" said Kyle. Fletchinder becomes surrounded by fire and flies towards Uva Atticus' Revavroom, ramming it and dealing super effective damage. Fletchinder begins surging with energy and her speed increases.
"Pikachu, Nuzzle!" said Cartman. Pikachu runs at Naranja Atticus Revavroom while electricty came out of her cheeks and she nuzzles Revavroom with them, damaging it. It became surrounded by electricty. "Ha, ha, Revavroom's paralyzed." Naranja Atticus frowns in response.
"Sludge!" said Uva Atticus. Revavroom shoots a brown ball of sludge from its mouth towards Fletchinder.
"Dodge it!" said Kyle. Fletchinder flies out of the way of Revavroom's Sludge.
"Use Assurance!" said Naranja Atticus. Unfortunately, paralysis kicks in, stopping Naranja Atticus Revavroom from attacking.
"Flame Charge, one more time!" said Kyle. Fletchinder flies towards Uva Atticus Revavroom while surrounded by fire and rams it, dealing super effective damage and knocking it out.
"No, Revavroom!" exclaimed Uva Atticus.
"Electro Ball!" said Cartman. Pikachu forms a ball of electricity on her tail, and she launches it at Naranja Atticus Revavroom, hitting it and knocking it out.
"Revavroom!" yelled Naranja Atticus. All of a sudden, the Revarooms that were powering the Starmobile started to rumble.
"We gotta take on more Revarooms?" asked Kyle.
"Bring 'em on! We can take them!" said Cartman. The Atticuses stared Kyle and Cartman down.
"Revaroom, use Spin Out!" said Uva Atticus. His Revaroom spins around and slams into Kyle's Fletchinder, not doing a lot of damage, due to fire types being resistant to steel.
"Revaroom, use Smog!" said Naranja Atticus. His Revaroom releases a blast of smog from its mouth which hits Cartman's Pikachu.
"Fletchinder, use Flame Charge!" said Kyle. Fletchinder's body becomes coated in fire, and it flies into Uva Atticus' Revaroom, doing damage to it, and increasing her own speed at the same time.
"Pikachu, use Spark!" said Cartman. His Pikachu's body becomes coated in electricity as it runs at Naranja Atticus' Revaroom, and slams into it. Revaroom's body suddenly becomes covered in electricity. "Ha! Revaroom's paralyzed!"
"This isn't over yet!" said Naranja Atticus. Back with Kyle and Uva Atticus, their battle was continuing.
"Okay, use Ember, Fletchinder!" said Kyle. Fletchinder flaps her wings, releasing a spray of embers which hit Revaroom, doing damage. Its body then becomes coated in small flames. "Your Revaroom is burned!"
"Well, that won't stop us!" said Uva Atticus. "Revaroom, use your Flame Charge!" Revaroom's body becomes coated in fire, and it leaps at Fletchinder, hitting her, but not doing a lot of damage due to Fletchinder being resistant to fire type moves. Back with Cartman and Naranja Atticus, they were still in the midst of their battle.
"Pikachu, use Electro Ball!" said Cartman. A ball of electricity forms over Pikachu's tail; she launches it at the Revaroom and hits it, doing a lot of damage due to her speed being greater than the Revaroom, thanks in part to Revaroom's paralysis reducing its speed. Back with Kyle and Uva Atticus.
"Okay, Fletchinder! Finish this with Acrobatics!" said Kyle. Fletchinder does a lot of aerial maneuvers all around Revaroom's body, striking it repeatedly, and knocking it out.
"NOO!" said Uva Atticus.
"We did it, Fletchinder!" said Kyle. Back with Cartman and Naranja Atticus, their battle was about to be done as well.
"Pikachu, use one more Spark!" said Cartman. Pikachu does another Spark and slams into Naranja Atticus' Revaroom, knocking it out.
"This can't be!" said Uva Academy.
"Ha, ha." said Cartman. "We beat all your Pokemon!"
"You did it you guys!" said Lincoln.
"That was awesome!" said Stan. The two Atticuses drop to their knees once they realized that they were defeated. He looks back to when he designed the Team Star bosses' outfits, and being bullied for liking old-fashioned stuff so much, though he never really let it bother him. After the Atticuses got done reminiscing, they walk over to Kyle and Cartman.
"Well, you have defeated us." said Uva Atticus.
"As per our code, we must give you, our badges." said Naranja Atticus. They each hand their respective opponents their badges, along with some pokedollars, as well as take a commerative photo of the two bowing to each other. "You have utterly bested us."
"But thy victories stir'd no bitterness in us, such was its brilliance." said Uva Atticus. The Atticuses were suddenly approached by the Naranja and Uva academy boys Kenny and Cartman fought outside the gate.
"Our compadres?" said Naranja Atticus.
"Don Atticuses, please heare what we have to say." said the Naranja boy.
"We only need a moment." said the Uva boy.
"Whatever brought you all the way out here?" asked the Uva Atticus.
"We came to help you." said the Naranja boy.
"If you don't start going to class again, you'll get expelled from the academy, right?" said the Uva boy. Both Atticuses stood there silently for a few seconds.
"When the other kids and us were getting bullied real bad in school, you and the rest of Team Star saved us." said the Uva boy.
"Thanks to the operation you carried out, we were all able to go to school again." said the Naranja boy.
"If you got expelled for being the good guys, that'd be the worst thing ever." said the Uva boy.
"Forgive us." said Naranja Atticus.
Haven't you heard anything from the big boss?" asked asked the Naranja boy.
"Nay, we've heard not a whisper since that fateful day." said Uva Atticus.
"Without the big boss, Team Star cannot carry on." said Naranja Atticus.
"And without the team, the bright and merry student life we seek lies beyond our reach." said Uva Atticus.
"We've no choice but to defend our bases until the big boss returns to us." said Naranja Atticus.
"What's your boss like?" asked Lincoln.
