This is the story of how Nathan rescued Little Jack and his visit to Fort Clay. He had to move on from Elizabeth and other new characters came into his life. They all avert catastrophe and they are forced to test how they feel now that we venture into season 9 and beyond. It's not going to be easy. I, along with the program's aim, try to arrive at a positive outcome for all of us.

Jack and Elizabeth meet Nathan and Allie as they arrive in Fort Clay. Nathan and Allie ride with Elizabeth partway home as Nathan is reporting for duty at Fort Simpson. Due to the landslide, Jack's life is lost, and Nathan is assigned to Hope Valley not realizing that it was Jacks. This is a FT CLAY Rewrite for the JUl Heart story Prompt Challenge.

This is an AU story & my take on what should have happened with Elizabeth & Jack. Many of the original events of the series will be included, as well as some that I create. Some of the events will be omitted and others will be changed to fit my story. The timeline of the events have also changed to fit what I wanted to tell.
