Author Notes: this is my first fanfic I have ever made so please leave comment and tell me where I made mistakes I didn't not own my hero of Avatar this is just for fun.
our story begins way 10,000 years in the past. the people of this era are able to bend the elements to there will but they were only able to bend one element. there are four main elements are Air, Water, Earth Fire but one person every generation was one person who was able to bend all four elements to there will. this person was know as the avatar. the avatar role in the world is to maintain the balance of the world and the spirit realm. the last know avatar was avatar korra she was the strongest of the avatars. after Korra's death bender stopped being born so bending disappeared from the world. thousands of years later a new power would come to be and it first showed up in China when a baby was born glowing and from that day on the new power would be called quirks.
just one more push miss midoriya I see the head. great job miss midoriya it's a health boy but right after that the new born boys eyes glow white, the room was covered in this white hue but no one was surprised about it because they just assumed that it was the boys quirk. after the glow disappeared one of the nurses saw the boys eyes, the nurse pointed it out to the doctor that the boy had milky eye the doctor took the baby to see the baby eye and found the the baby was born blind. This shock the doctor because to there knowledge there hasn't been a birth defect in a child sense the era of quirks. they informed inko. inko didnt care she just wanted to hold her baby boy.
Four Years Later: Izuku we are almost there so calm down the doctor isn't going anywhere.. Izuku midoriya follow me please the doctor will be with you in only a minute so wait here. mom what quirk do you think I'm going to get, I don't know sweet maybe telekinesis like me or maybe the ability to breath fire or maybe a quirk that will help you see. the doctor came in and said hi and asked us to fallow him so that he could test me. an hour later the doctor said I'm sorry but your son doesn't have a quirk. it's most intriguing his is the only person to not have a quirk in the whole world sense the new era. Izuku didn't know what the two adults were talking about all he wanted was a quirk. so he asked if he was going to get a quirk but he didn't get an answer. so he just sat there going over his thoughts. time past and before he could come to a conclusion his mom hugged him and said she was sorry and that I don't have a quirk. I asked my mom while I cried if I could still be a hero. the room went silent except for my crying and like a sledgehammer to glass my mom said sorry you can't sweet. all I remember after that is crying to sleep in the doctor's office and waking up in my room a few hours later.
sweet dinner is ready come and eat before it get cold. I slowly walked to the kitchen to eat my dinner, not a single word was exchanged between the two of us and when I was finished eating I went back to my room for the rest of the night. in my room I would sit in on my bed and try to figure out how I would me a hero with out a quirk or the ability to see anything. after hours of thought I end falling a sleep for the night. I had a dream of a young bald boy named Aang. but the real thing is that I could see in this dream world, this dream world had weird people there who only had quirks that bent the elements to their wills. the event that happen in the dream world at a fast paced but slow enough that I could Remember everything and then I saw Aang meet a blind girl who could fight by controlling the earth to fight and with a bang of my alarm I woke up but after that dream it gave me hope.
A month after being diagnosed quirkless I went back to school, when I got to class everyone asked where I was and if I got my quirk yet but before I could reply to there questions bakugo told the class that I was quirkless and that I was useless. the class was confused on what quirkless is so one of them asked the teacher what it was, the teacher answered that it is a person who was born with out a quirk and that he is the only on to date sense the new era to be born quirkless. After that day I was an outcast at school and at the park, no one wanted to play with me because I was blind and quirkless they saw me as a freak.
One day after school my mom brought me to the park while I was in the sand box my mom got called to work so she asked if her friend and coincidentally bakugo mother. while they were talking a small animal came up to me and started to play with me. when the little animal started to leave in desperation of not wanting to lose my new friend I followed him, the animal walk through some bushes and then it started to dig in to the ground it made big enough so that I could fallow it. I crawled on the ground for what felt like hours before we came to a room where I was able to stand up completely, when I got to my feet I heard a loud growling from what I can only assume to be the small animals parents and before I could do anything the small animals jumped in front of me to defend me. I think seeing there child defend me made them realize the I wasn't a threat to them or there child. I spent almost week with them and Because of that I learned how they moved and then it happened I saw a 360 degree oven the cavern I was standing in. I was so happy and yelled at the top of my lungs saying I got my quirk and then it hit me that I've been gone for a week and in a panicked rush I crawled up the hole that the small animal made. when I got to the street a pass hero saw me and grab my shoulder but before he could I moved me shoulder out of his grasp. the hero said that Ive been missing for a week and my mother was worried sick about me so I let him take me home. when I walk through the door my mother crushed me in a hug. she asked if I was injured anywhere. I told her that my quirk came in and she got silent. before she could say anything a detective asked if he could ask me some questions so we went to the kitchen table to talk, Both adults noticed how I was able to get to the table without any help. the detective introduced him self as Naomasa Tsukauchi a new detective and that his quirk was called lie detector. Mr.Tsukauchi asked if he could start. First I'd like to ask you if you were taken by anyone. I wasn't taken by anyone, then where were you for the past week, I was deep underground with a family of badger moles. you lived with Badger mole for a week, where was this and what did you eat. I ate berries and fruits vtyat the Badger mole gathered. before Tsukauchi could ask another question my mother interfered and ask my how I got my quirk, what do you mean quirk shouldn't it be natural for a kid this age to awaken his quirk. no because he was diagnosed quirkless two week ago. before the conversation could continue i explained my quirk to them and told them what I called it seismic sense and I can see 360 degree around me, that how I was able to see the table. my mother was happy about my quirk because it let me see, before we get any further off course I would like to continue my questions. how did you meet the badger moles, I meet a cub while playing in the sand box at the park he came up to me and started playing with me but when the cub decided to go back home I followed him not wanting to lose my new friends (both adult looked sad when Izuku said that) when we reach his home his parents weren't happy to see a human but the cub jumped in front of me to protect me and I think seeing there baby protect me made them assume i was fine. Tsukauchi interrupted me and informed me that Badger mole are blind and that they can't see at all. I was shocked to hear that. I think I got enough information to fill out a report so I will be leaving so have a good day.
After Tsukauchi left my mom took me to the doctor's but it was a different one, when the doctor entered the room she asked what the problem was, my mother explained what happened over the past week, the doctor was saprised and emeditly started doing test on me. they took blood and x-rays to see but when the doctor came back all she could see was the same as the previous doctor. I don't know how he's has a quirk, all the test prove that he quirkless. me and my mother were just a surprise as the doctor when we heard the result after hearing the result we went home, on the ride home not a single word was exchanged between us. when we got home I went to my room not because i was upset but because I had to go over my memories of the past week so I could find an answer for this power.
after half an hour I suddenly remembered the blind girl in my dreams, her name was toph and she was training whoever body I was seeing through. Thoph words were muffled and the only words I managed to hear to hear were "earth bending" with a small lead I asked used my phone and asked what is earth bending, no searches were found. I spent some time trying different searches and I came up with nothing so I ask my mom if I could go to the library. she said that I could go after school tomorrow. when I got to school bakugo ask where the hell I was and how I was able to get around without my walking cane, I told him that It wasn't any of his business and to leave me alone from now on. right before bakugo could answer the teacher walked in to start the class. dose anyone here know what the solstice is, there where murmurs here and there but no one knew what the solstice was. the solstice is when sun hits the most northerly or southerly Point there are two times this happens June 21 and December 21 also know as the summer winter solstice, in some culture it is a day a great spirituality. After school my mother brought me to the library where I asked for help finding any books on element bending. the library typed something on the computer. she asked me why I was looking for the books as she searched for then I told her that it might help with my quirks she replied to me saying that I was the first to think of that and it was a good idea after that she got result. would you like the book or the audio version. I ask for the audio version and found a computer to start listening to the book. the book wasn't very long and all it mentioned about element bending was a small group of monks called air nomads. when I returned the disc I asked the librarian if she knew anything about air nomads.she replied saying that there is a Buddhist temple in Nara where I might find out about air nomads.
when I got home I asked mom when my next long vacation was. she said summer vacation was coming up in a couple of months and why I wanted to know so I told her that I wanted to go to a Buddhist temple in narra for quirk research. my mom thought it over and said that I could go so long as I don't disappear without telling her again. the next couple of month went bye with nothing really happening and then the day came the last day of school and the day I leave for the monastery. when I got home from school my mom was waiting for me and already had my thing packed for the summer. she drove us to the the base of the mountain where one of the monk met us my mom handed me. I took a couple of hours to drive to the mountain but when we arrived I sense a monk waiting for us. when I got out my mom talked to the monk as I walked around them mapping my environment. my mom hugged me and said her goodbye and drove off. while walking up the mountain path the monk asked why I came to the mountain for the summer, I explained how I was able to see and what I was told in the library l. the monk said that the only person here with that ability to manipulate the air was the leader of the monastery. It took two hours to scale the mountain and when we arrived I sense around 20 people in the monastery, the monk that led me up the mountain brought me before the head monk. the monk left me in front of a door. I questioned his actions until a voice was heard and it said you may come in young one. I walked through the door and as soon as I passed the door there was a gust of wind pass me and the door slammed shut.
I continued walking towards the monk and when I was about five feet away he said to take a seat so I sat down and there was silence for about a minute before the monk introduced himself as head Monk Gyatso and asked what my intended to do here. I replied to him saying that I have the ability to see dispute the fact that my eyes don't work and I call it seismic sense and the. I had a dream of a blind girl with the same ability as mine but the only word I could make out was earth bending and when I searched for earth bending nothing came up so I searched for element bending and this place came up. monk Gyatso stroked his beard. I asked if he had any information about element bending that isn't related to quirks. he thought for a second and said yes I know information about element bending but before I tell you about that you first need to know the history of the world.
Hours later the monk finished his story and I was shocked to know that I was still quirkless but had such power then I asked monk Gyatso what element he was and he said how do you know the I'm a bender and not a quirk user in replied to his question I said that I doubt you would have such information if you had quirk if the world knew that the world had powers before quirks there would be chaos. that why this information was only pasted down to us air benders in the time of bending us air nomads were peace keeper between the nation. then why would you give me this information. that because I am the last living air bender and I need to insure the history of bending and as for you I believe you are an Earth bender because your seismic sense was a an ability of earth benders. he then asked me how I came to posses this abilitiy and I told him that I lived with Badger mole for a week. his reply to that was really you lived with the original earth benders.
