A/N: Hello! It's been a year since I posted anything, writer's block hit me a lot, I hope you enjoy this new crack fic!
In the realm of the true god, Tappei sat on a movie seat and ate popcorn as he watched episode 6 unfold.
But then, he suddenly had an idea…
"I hope you'll forgive me for killing you, Emilia…" Tappei said as he ran to his console and spawned an OP item that was about to kill thousands, if not millions of people…
"I wonder if Dragons can get radiation sickness, Oh well!" Tappei chuckled as he continued pressing the 9 button on his console.
Subaru ran through the forest as his life depended on it.
He could hear the chains coming closer to his location, this was bad, really bad, he couldn't keep running like this, and as if reality reminded him about it, he ran into a dead end.
As he turned to face his attacker, he saw something on the ground.
"An Explosive Vest?" Subaru said as he looked at it, and back at the forest, and realized that he would die if he wore the vest or not.
He quickly wore it under his jacket and activated the dead man's switch, and then he started tasting metal, Radiation? Possibly.
He quickly stepped to the side as a mace hit the hill blocking him, since it could detonate the bomb early, and then held a grip on the morningstar's chain.
"Alright, show yourself, you damn coward!" Subaru shouted, he didn't know the range of the explosion and he wanted as much information as possible, so he would wait for his attacker to get as close as possible before detonating it.
As he pulled on the chain, he eventually reached its end, and watched as the chain slowly sagged, indicating that the attacker was coming closer.
"Then I have no choice…" He heard Rem's voice, and he felt shocked. He felt slightly sorry that he was about to blow her up, but he needed more information, so…
As Subaru slowly cried, he quickly looked to his left, and saw Ram in the trees, seemingly preparing a spell…
"I really liked both of you, but…" Subaru said as he released the dead man's switch.
"ALLAHU AKBAR!" Subaru shouted and saw the two of them confused, but a millisecond later, a fireball instantly engulfed the three of them, the Mansion, and Irlam Village in a Nuclear Fireball.
When the nuclear explosion detonated, Subaru wasn't even able to see the fireball, it all suddenly went black.
Instead of the black void, he was suddenly teleported to the sky, where he was seated on a cinema chair on a floating island in the sky, watching the nuclear fireball stop and the mushroom cloud expand.
"Where am I?" Subaru said as he saw Tappei using a microwave to cook popcorn.
"Realm of the 'True God', I'm the one who made that nuclear explosive vest, and I think I just assassinated all of the witches in one explosion…" Tappei said, remembering about the tea party that was happening during that time…
As the witches had a tea party in the castle of dreams, they watched from afar as Subaru suffered.
But were near suddenly incinerated when Subaru triggered the vest.
"The fuck is he doin-" Was Satella's last words when the witches watched him shout 'Allahu Akbar!'
As Subaru got comfortable in his seat, he turned back to the mushroom cloud rising.
"Holy fuck… I never thought it would be this lethal…" Subaru muttered as Tappei walked in from behind Subaru and sat next to him, carrying popcorn.
"At least that explosion just killed Puck, preventing an ice age, all they need to worry about is the nuclear fallout!" Tappei chuckled.
'Wait, what?' Subaru thought as Tappei mentioned Puck and Ice Age in one sentence, but he shrugged it off and laughed as the mushroom cloud slowed down and nuclear fallout started spreading across Od Laguna.
"Maybe we can make a Fallout If: Story!" Tappei said as Subaru grabbed some popcorn and watched the nuclear fallout cover the entirety of Od Laguna and laughed as the casualty numbers rose to the millions.
As the global clock struck Midnight, Lugnica City was rudely awakened by the largest explosion it (And Od Laguna) had ever seen, collapsing dozens of unstable buildings, and people started panicking as they watched a massive cloud expanding, getting closer to their location, but sighed in relief as the mushroom cloud slowly stopped, a little far from the city.
But that sigh of relief was gone when the immediate fallout began.
Not knowing the aftereffects of a nuclear explosion at all, the people closest to the explosion immediately started getting radiation sickness, and with some that survived in the blast zone, they had 3rd degree burns and got immediate radiation sickness, far from other cities, with water being irradiated.
At first, people thought it was just coughing, but they started coughing out blood, and if they stayed exposed longer, some would have their organs start being coughed out.
Healers were suddenly overwhelmed with patients with a new and deadly 'disease', which could spread rapidly, and they were suddenly all irradiated as well from exposure.
All knights were called up to quell the chaos and messengers sent out to declare an emergency across the kingdom and call up elite physicians to come up with a cure, but it would take days for any messenger to arrive, but most would die to radiation, and anyone that arrived alive to their destination would find an irradiated hell, which they would also succumb to…
This was the same for all of the other kingdoms, there was no safe haven from this hell, except for a couple thousand smart people, but as the sun rose above the world, millions would succumb to radiation…
As the sun rose, Reinhard woke up wearing a radiation suit and gas mask, and saw a mushroom cloud in the distance through his window, with a Geiger counter on his bedside turned off.
Rising from his bed with a yawn, he switched it on, only for the Geiger counter to instantly reach its maximum number.
As he found the dead bodies of Heinkel and Wilhelm, he walked into the basement, while passing by the dead bodies of the Staff and the Felt Camp, where he opened a fake brick, revealing a stockpile of bottle caps, food, and water.
Having been warned months before the explosion by his DPs, he had secretly been stocking up bottle caps and supplies in preparation, feeling a little guilty for not informing the others, but again, they probably wouldn't believe him.
Reinhard shoved as many bottle caps and supplies as possible into a bag, and walked out of the mansion, seeing a city full of dead people.
As he walked around the corpse-filled streets of Lugnica, there was only one sentence he could say:
"Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter…"
