3rd POV
Y/N was at home and getting dressed for his next shift. They attended the Night Shift and they would start around 8:30 pm where they'd have to go through certain tasks before getting into the real part of their job.
Once they arrived at the Pizzaplex, They walked into Rockstar Row where their first take was routine maintenance on the Animatronics. This means that they have to make sure they're prepared for their show that will be coming on within the next few minutes, to ensure that everything goes according to schedule. They then called out to the Four as they each came out of their rooms with their instruments in hand.
"Hello everyone" They greeted the band as they greeted them back. "Okay, so I'm sure that you all know the drill. We have some kids in the Pizzaplex who expecting a Big Concert from you guys, so let's make sure that everything is set to go." They take out their clipboard and a pen before they start writing on the paper.
"Alright, Let's start with the instruments. Does everyone have their instruments? Are there any problems with them at all?" They asked them. "Yeah no. I just gotta ask, How come we've been playing the same Damn song every time we're on stage? Every performance feels like we've had to sing those same stupid songs for 20 years, except we get baths. And I HATE baths!" Roxanne bickered.
"Calm down Roxy, If you have any problems with your performance then take it with someone else. Anyway, I'm going to try and test your sight to make sure that everyone's eyes are in working order. I'm going to shine my flashlight around the floor and you all are to stare at it until I turn it off" They turn on their flashlight before moving it to the left and right as the Animatronics followed the light before they turned it off.
"Alright good. Now just one more thing and you can get to the stage. I will say two words and they'll depend on if you can understand them. When I say innocent, you'll all open your eyes as much as you can. If I say criminal, you're to widen your eyes and use your voice boxes to make a sound. Let's begin" They cleared their throat before going on to say both words and they didn't seem to have any problems with the orders and they finished.
"Good. Okay, that's the end of the testing. You all seem to be working and nothing seems to be going wrong. You can all go to your stage and be sure to give it your best out there" They said before sending them on their way to the stage. They found this job rather decent with what the extra came into being a security guard, whether it's from ensuring they are in working condition, repairing any damage they may sustain at any point, or overall caring for their well-being.
It may not seem like much to most others, but it was nice that Y/N could be needed for something. Given their background is a big step for them.
Later
Y/N's POV
I made my way to the Main atrium where I met up with Vanessa, again. She still seemed like she was uninterested and unhappy and I had wanted to know why. "Hey, Vanessa. You feeling alright?" I tried asking her but she didn't say anything. So much for trying, I guess.
I looked back to the stage and a lot of people seemed to be excited for what was to come. I had to admit that it looked like it was going to be a promising show that they'd be putting on and I was kinda intrigued to see what they could do.
I was enjoying the show as much as the Kids and Families that were watching and kind of wished they could be on stage with them. However, Freddy was glitching out and then collapsed onto the floor as the audience started to get upset. Me and Vanessa then got on the Stage to try and see if Freddy was okay.
Vanessa takes care of Freddy as she tells Me to take care of the others and the audience. "Okay everyone, Please settle down! Freddy seems to have had some kind of Malfunction and we are going to have to see what's wrong. I'm afraid I will have to cancel today's performance"
The audience was of course outraged and upset by this as some were yelling while some were crying and had to leave the main area. The animatronics on the other hand did seem disappointed but Monty was very angry at this. "Are you serious? We started and we have to cancel because of Freddy!? Come on!" Monty argued, visibly upset. Once Y/N escorted everyone away and the place cleared, they turned over to the others and sighed. "I'm sorry you guys, I don't know why Freddy glitched out like that. Listen, I know you guys are upset but it seems like Freddy must've had some issues with his system. How about you guys just go back to your rooms and just settle down? We'll try and see what's wrong with Freddy and we'll handle things later. It's all for the best anyway"
The Animatronics take their instruments before walking back to Rockstar Row. I sighed as I pinched my nose in disappointment over the sudden incident and cancellation of the show. I wanted to see their performance since I don't usually get my hopes up for good things but there was something about how they played on stage that almost had me in hopes that It'd be different. I didn't have much time to think as someone tried to communicate with me through the Walkie-talkie before I picked up the other end.
"This is Y/N, over"
"Y/N, It's Vanessa. We just got word that some kid is sneaking around the building after you get the guest out of the building. Just fantastic...look, we're gonna be closing the place in 20 minutes and I need you to keep your eyes peeled for that kid. If you find him, report back to me, Immediately" Vanessa informed me and I told her that I'd do my best and let her know if I found him.
"What could some random kid be doing when we're about to close? Maybe they got lost..." I said to myself before turning on my flashlight and began to search around the building.
Meanwhile...
3rd POV
Freddy soon started to boot up as he was entering into Safe mode and once waking up questioned himself about what had happened. "Showtime already? I'm experiencing a Malfunction. The Recharge cycle is not complete yet."
"Shh, Will you shut up?" Freddy's thoughts were interrupted when he heard a voice coming from close by. Very close by. "Who said that?"
"I did. I'm down here."
"Down where? I still do not see you." Freddy looked around his room to try and figure out where that strange voice was coming from before they spoke, again. "Okay listen, You were sleeping so I opened the stomach hatch and climbed inside" The mysterious kid spoke before leaving Freddy to be befuddled. "My stomach hatch? That place is reserved for oversized birthday cakes and piñatas! It is not a safe play area!" The kid that was inside of Freddy's Stomach hatch then exits out of it and Freddy holds the child in his arms.
"There you are." Freddy keeps him still before scanning his body for recognition. "Scanning complete. How odd. Your guest profile is unknown to me. Who are you?"
"I-I'm Gregory"
"Gregory...I will notify the main office." Freddy tried to use his system to contact the main office but something was preventing him from making any connections with the network. "Connection Error. I cannot connect to the main network."
"It's her. She cut you off. She's not going to let you call for help until she finds me." Gregory told him "Who? Who is looking for you? Your mother?"
"Shh, I hear footsteps" Gregory goes over to the curtains before seeing someone coming past the room with a Flashlight in hand as he tries to stay out of sight. "That is the security guard. She can help"
"No! I don't trust her." Gregory said.
"Why not?"
"I don't know who she is, but she's trying to get me. Isn't there any other way you can communicate with me besides talking so loudly?"
Back to Y/N...
Y/N was on the 2nd-floor balcony in the Main Atrium where a large group of S.T.A.F.F Bots was lining up in groups, awaiting Y/N's orders. "Listen up everyone, Some kid is wandering around the building and we're almost 15 minutes from closing. So, I'm going to need every one of you to be on the alert for the kid. Here's his picture that we managed to get a hold of"
"If any of you find the kid, report it to either me or Vanessa, immediately. We have to try and get him before the doors close in a few minutes so let's make this quick" Y/N have the orders before all the S.T.A.F.F bots took off to go look around the building from top to bottom. Y/N then heads back to Rockstar Row to check in on the Band until he sees that all of them are gone.
Y/N pulled out their Walkie-talkie and tried to get ahold of Vanessa. "Vanessa? Come in. It's Y/N, I came into Rockstar Row and the animatronics are all gone" Y/N tried to tell her. "Yeah, I know. I sent them all out to go look for that kid. They were all there except for Freddy who I'm trying to look for myself. Go to the Daycare and let the attendant know about the kid. If we don't get that kid out of here, We'll be stuck here all night with him" Vanessa said.
"Okay, I'm on my way to the Daycare" Y/N puts their Walkie-talkie away before going over to the Superstar Daycare. They had hoped that whoever the kid was and what they were doing here, minutes before they closed wasn't going to cause too much ruckus. Once they made it to the Daycare, They went downstairs and opened the doors to try and look for the Daycare Attendant.
"Hello? Sun? Are you there? I need to talk to you" Y/N called out to them but there wasn't any response. That was until they heard sounds coming from the ball pit and it sounded like something or someone was wandering through it. They tried to walk over to the Ball Pit before seeing Sun appearing from above.
"HOO! HO! HO!" Sun cheerfully sounded before he dived into the Ball pit before Y/N tried to go in after him. When Y/N got into the Ball pit, Sun popped out and picked up the same kid that they were looking for and carried them out of the Ball pit. "Hello! New friend! You sure are late! Are we having a slumber party? Where are all your friends?" Sun was speaking with the kid before setting him down and Y/N tried to get his attention but he wasn't answering them. "Hey! Sun! What are you doing?" Y/N kept trying to get Sun to listen but Sun was fixated on Gregory.
"We can finger paint, tell stories, drink Fizzy-Faz until our heads EXPLODE, and then stay up all night! There is only one rule, Keep the lights On...On...on..."
Y/N didn't understand why Sun was ignoring them when they kept trying to get his attention but they needed to get to the kid but Sun kept blocking them. The kid then had the idea of knocking some stuff over to distract Sun. "Oh no no no! What a mess! Which one is the bottom, where is the top!? Clean up! Clean up!"
The kid then runs over to the desk as Y/N tries to stop them. "Hey! Come back here! Stop!" Y/N tried to chase him but he ended up grabbing a Flashlight and one of the Security Badges. This resulted in the Daycare's Lights going out and leaving the whole place in Darkness.
"No! NO! Why would you do that!? Lights on! Lights on! I warned you! I WARNED YOU!" Sun groaned in pain and struggled to pull himself together before he collapsed and then...He appeared.
