And here we go for chapter three of Episode Lucifer. This is where Lucifer will first meet Dyntos, the God of the Forge, and how he obtained his own Three Sacred Treasures in the first place. Now you might be asking, "Why are we already going to Dyntos' Workshop to give Lucifer three trials to pass?" I'll explain more about that in the end. But anyways, you already know the disclaimer, so enjoy!
Episode Lucifer Chapter 3: Lucifer's Three Trials
Music playing: Wastes - Safe Zone (A.K.A. Inside Palutena's Temple (Episode Lucifer Version))
Palutena was in the living room pacing back and forth, still in a frantic state after her recent confrontation with Lucifer yesterday. How am I going to stop him now that he's giving me a warning? she thought to herself. There has got to be a way to prevent him from killing my sister. There has to be! But her thoughts came to an end when she heard footsteps coming from the hallway. Those footsteps came from Lucifer who saw the Goddess of Light's frantic state. "Is something the matter, Lady Palutena?" he asked, suspiciously. This made Palutena quickly turn to face him, even though she was slightly scared of his warning. "N-No no! I'm just worried about how you're going to get though your next mission!" she attempted to lie. Although Lucifer wasn't quite sure about what Palutena was talking about, he instead decided to dismiss the conversation. "Oh never mind. Let's just get back to the original topic at hand," he said. "I need you to take me to Dyntos' Workshop so that I can obtain powerful weapons to end Gaia. I heard from your soldiers that he's the creator of many different weapons, excluding this one." He held up his arm to show the goddess the Palutena Palm. "Once I've obtained the weapons I need, you'll send me to Gaia's temple to eliminate all of her forces." Palutena was taken aback by this request. "I-I don't know about this, Lucifer! We could try to-" she started before noticing Lucifer's eyes starting to glow red again, causing her to shiver in fear. "If you value your life, you must follow my orders," he growled. Palutena hesitantly nodded before sending the angel out to where Dyntos' Workshop is nearby. "Time to gather what I need!" Lucifer said as he flew out of the door once Palutena activated the Power of Flight.

Once Lucifer was out of the temple, he flew into the sky as high as he could. But then he noticed something very unfamiliar. There are enemies from both the Underworld and the Forces of Nature attacking the him, only for the angel to fire multiple shots at them to take them down. "That's odd. It seems that the enemies from both different armies are attacking me," he said in suspicion. "I'm guessing this 'Dyntos' person you're speaking of might be the one who did that. Care to explain what his purpose is supposed to be, Lady Palutena?" "I suppose I should tell you more about him. Dyntos is the God of the Forge. He created many different weapons, but it looks like you're only using my own I created throughout the rest of your missions," Palutena explained. "Anyway, he's also known for creating powerful weapons known as 'Sacred Treasures.' In ancient times, I had many different angels who were trained to be powerful warriors like you to face off against ancient demons from the Underworld army." "'Ancient?' As in thousands of years ago?" Lucifer questioned. "Yes. There used to be a group of demons that worked for many different Underworld fractions across different universes, including the Underworld army in this universe," Palutena explained further. "I'm not sure how they are able to do that, but it would appear that they had some kind of time-travelling machine. Which is odd, considering that they looked like...robots? Anyway, my recent angels held powerful weapons as their Sacred Treasures created by Dyntos to fend off the demons away from Skyworld, including their rulers, but none of them were able to stand up against their warlord." "So in other words, all of them died during their battle against this...'warlord?'" said Lucifer. "Unfortunately, yes. Since then, I haven't had any of those angels anymore. Now you're the new angel I have, but since you were once a human, you can't fly like any other angel," Palutena replied, somberly. "Yes, I am fully aware of that. Not to mention that you still need to be aware of my warning," said Lucifer with a dark tone. "Now, as for these Sacred Treasures, it's time to obtain them to end Gaia once and for all! And if you dare to tell the old man about my plan, you know what will happen next!" Palutena said nothing else as Lucifer continued onward. But as he flew closer and closer to his destination, while taking down more enemies, he noticed something else completely different. Giant weapons came out from the shadows, from blades, to claws, and to bows that attacked Lucifer out of nowhere. "Holy SHIT this is intense!" Lucifer yelled in surprise, and before he could ponder how it was possible to do so, he saw something coming into view' a sphere-shaped structure of some sorts. "I'm assuming this is the workshop where Dyntos is currently residing?" he wondered. "That's right, sonny!" said a new voice who later revealed to be the God of Forge himself. "Ah. You must be Lord Dyntos Lady Palutena was talking about," said Lucifer. "It is quite an honor to meet you." Dyntos himself came out as a projection and saw the angel coming into the workshop. "So, what brings you here to my workshop today, kiddo?" he asked. "Lady Palutena told me about you creating powerful weapons," Lucifer explained. "I was wondering if you can create three of them in order to stop the Underworld army." Heh. But you're unaware of the fact that the last part was nothing but a lie, you old man, he thought to himself. "That will be guaranteed as a promise," Dyntos replied. "I have indeed created three new weapons that are ready for another warrior to obtain, but there aren't any powerful angels since the antient times. Palutena did explain to you about that, didn't she?" "I did indeed tell him," said Palutena. "Goodie. Now, as I was saying. In order for you to obtain my new creations, you must pass through three trials." "That won't be a problem at all. I've faced countless enemies throughout my many missions," Lucifer boasted. "Going through your trials will be a piece of cake." "Now don't get too cocky there, sonny," Dyntos warned before his projection disappeared as Lucifer proceeded onwards through the workshop. Soon enough, he arrived at a large platform with tall pillars surrounding it. One of them was where Dyntos himself was levitating. "Welcome to my workshop," he introduced. "Come right to the platform and your test shall begin." Lucifer flew down onto the platform as he was told.

Once Lucifer landed on the platform, he looked up to see Dyntos himself waiting for the angel. "So, what is this 'test' you speak of, Lord Dyntos?" he asked. "Like I said, your test is to pass three trials. After that, I will give you your Three Sacred Treasures," Dyntos explained. "To get started, step forward onto that platform over there to begin your first trial." Lucifer walked up to the middle of the platform he landed earlier which later revealed to be an elevator. He used it to go up where he is greeted with a stairway to his left. "Head up those stairs so that Dyntos can explain your next step of your test," said Palutena and Lucifer did as he was told by going up the stairs. "So, what is the first trial I need to pass?" he asked the God of the Forge. "Your first trial is to eliminate all enemies from three different floors," Dyntos explained. "Once you've defeated all of them, a portal will open up on the last floor that will lead you to your next trial." "Sounds easy enough. This will be fun," said Lucifer as he continued up the stairs. Upon reaching the first floor of his trial, a lot of enemies from the Underworld army and the Forces of Nature appeared to attack. Lucifer started his test by using his weapon to take them down, although he noticed that they were a little bit tougher to take out than the last time he fought them. "Hmm. It would seem that these enemies are tough cookies to crumble," he stated. "How come they're difficult to defeat with a single charged shot? They look like take a big amount of strength to eliminate." "That's because I made them," Dyntos answered. "I was puffed as a pastry with the results, since they are much more superior than the originals." "You are certainly full of surprises than I thought," said Lucifer as he took down more enemies with a little bit of struggle. After taking them all out, a new staircase appeared. "Not bad, sonny. But that was only the beginning," said Dyntos. "Let's see how well you can take down more of them up on the next floor." Oh, I'll be more than happy to impress you with my brutality, old man, Lucifer thought to himself as he proceeded up the stairs to the next floor. Once he made it there, he saw more enemies coming out from the shadows to attack him. "Great. More of them. Oh, well. Shouldn't be a problem," he said. "Are you sure? Because there is something waiting for you to get you instantly," said Dyntos and Lucifer noticed a giant floating ghostly skull thing slowly coming towards him. It roared to reveal more skulls inside its mouth. "Eugh! What the hell is that?!" exclaimed Lucifer. "That's an Orne! If it touches you, you'll instantly die!" Palutena warned. "So don't get too close to it!" "Unless you want to freeze up like a frozen popsicle and let the Orne melt it," Dyntos chuckled. "I'd rather not," said Lucifer, unamused, as he dodged the Orne from touching him before taking down the enemies surrounding it. But, turns out, there were more enemies coming out from the shadows to attack the angel, since the Orne is still not gone yet. "So, you really want to play dirty, huh Lord Dyntos?" said Lucifer. "Well, how about I play even dirtier?!" With that, his inner anger activated his powers again. This time, his insane breathing and glowing red eyes made his aura grow even stronger. "W-What's happening?!" Dyntos asked in shock. "Uh oh! It's happening again!" Palutena exclaimed. Once Lucifer's hidden powers reached its maximum potential, he suddenly roared a demonic roar and then charged at the Orne at high speeds. He activated a shield to protect himself from the Orne's powers before blasting through it, causing it to explode. Then, he pierced through the rest of the enemies to eliminate them into pieces. Once he was finished, his powers subsided and he returned to normal. "So, impressive, huh?" he asked Dyntos, who was shocked and surprised when he saw Lucifer's terrifying powers. "I... I never seen an angel act like that before!" he exclaimed. "Palutena, have you seen him like that?" "I-I did! It was when-" Palutena started before Lucifer interrupted her. "Anyway, let's just move on to the next challenge, right?" he said. "Uh... Quite right!" replied Dyntos as another staircase appeared. "Palutena, I thought I told you not to reveal my plans just yet!" Lucifer whispered to the Goddess of Light in a threatening tone. "You're lucky that I'm still in contact with you. If you even dare to make that minor hiccup again, you know what will happen next!" Palutena didn't say anything after that as Lucifer continued up the stairs. That new form from the angel was so vicious! Dyntos exclaimed in thought. Is there something Palutena isn't telling me that I am unaware about? If so, then I need to ask her after the test. Once Lucifer arrived at the top of the stairs, more enemies came out of the shadows to attack the angel. However, he took them down one by one with his weapon with charged and multiple shots. Suddenly, more of them appeared as a group of flying enemies. Two of them appeared as a Fire Wyrm and a Lurchthorn. "Seriously? Is this what you call a challange?" Lucifer boasted. "Guess I'll have to step up my game in the most painful way possible." With that, he aimed his weapon and fired a charged shot at the Fire Wyrm's head. Suddenly, the rest of the body exploded, causing its parts to fly everywhere. One of them landed on the Lurchthron's head, causing it to explode as well. Their remaining parts flew right towards the remaining enemies until none of them are left. But it wasn't the end of Lucifer's first trial as the angel suspected. "Is that all? I expected more from you, old man!" he taunted. "Then let's see how you can survive this last ambush of your first trial!" said Dyntos and suddenly, multiple Ornes surrounded Lucifer. "Uh oh!" Palutena gasped. Heh. I've dealt with one last time, so I can take care of all of them, Lucifer thought to himself. I just have to focus my raging power again. With that, Lucifer began to activate his inner powers. However, something unexpected happened to him while doing so. He fell to his knees and began to growl, causing a dark red aura around him to glow. Suddenly, he let out a demonic roar and swung his right fist to deal a powerful right hook on all of the Ornes, pushing them away from him until they explode. After that, his aura faded away and he returned back to normal. He began to breath as much as he could. "W-Wow..." Dyntos gasped. "You've passed your first trial." "What can I say? I'm full of surprises much better than you!" Lucifer panted. "So, what's the next trial?" As soon as he asked the question, a portal appeared right in front of him. "Go into that portal. It will take you to your next trial," Dyntos explained and Lucifer complied by entering the portal. All while Palutena watched in horror about what just happened. This... This isn't good! she exclaimed in thought. I have to talk to Dyntos about what happened before things get any worse!

Once Lucifer exited from the portal, he landed on a giant platform. "What's the next trial I have to endure, old man?" he asked. "Your next trial is all about survival," Dyntos explained. "You'll be fighting enemies in ten waves. Once you've completed all of the waves, your last trial shall commence." "Hmph! Sounds simple enough. Let's start the dance, shall we?" Lucifer boasted. "Very well. Begin wave one!" said Dyntos as a group of Monoeyes and Nutskies appeared to attack the angel. Lucifer wasted no time and fired multiple shots at the foes. Though they were difficult to take down, he still managed to do so. Just then, Shootflies are around Lucifer while a Reaper approached from behind the angel. "Watch out!" Palutena warned and Lucifer dodged the swinging scythe to avoid big damage. "This next wave is a little trickier," said Dyntos. "Are going to melee the Reaper up close, or let the Shootflies react to your shots?" "I suppose I'll take the former," Lucifer replied and charged at the Reaper. The Reaper suddenly summoned little Reapettes to fight its aid and Lucifer attacked them with a melee combo. Then, he slid under the Reaper's swinging scythe before attacking it from behind. Unfortunately, one of his attacks to finish the Reaper was a charged shot, which caused the Shootflies to wake up and counterattack the angel. "Damn it! Guess I'll have to deal with them the hard way!" Lucifer grunted as he ran up to the enemies. Then he unleashed his inner powers again to deal a massive spinning kick that knocked the Shootflies away from the arena. Suddenly, Bladers, Handoras, and Specknoses appeared to attack Lucifer. "Time to face off against the third wave!" Dyntos chuckled. "Then let's see if they can outlast my plan of attack!" Lucifer boasted as he fired multiple shots at the foes. However, one Blader flew right towards Lucifer and swung its sword-like wings in a fast pace. Lucifer dodged them quickly before firing a charged shot to end it. Once all of the enemies were taken down, a group of Snowmen and a Hugworm appeared. "Fourth wave coming up for you, sonny!" said Dyntos. "Okay this is starting to irritate me!" Lucifer grunted in annoyance until one of the Snowmen let out a cold breath to freeze the angel. But Lucifer was too fast for it and avoided the cold air. He then fired a charged shot at his attacker to push it out of the platform. But while he was distracted, the Hugworm suddenly wrapped around the angel with a tight grip. "If that's how you want to play, then how about I play with you the hard way!" said Lucifer as he later fired a charged shot right at the Hugworm's beak to make it let go of him. Right before the Snowmen attacked with their cold breaths. This made the Hugworm freeze up and then Lucifer defeated it with a brutal punch to crumble it to tiny bits of ice. After that was done, Lucifer fired forward dash charged shots at the remaining Snowmen to destroy them. Suddenly, a pair of Bumpety Bombs appeared on Lucifer's both sides, while an Erinus was in front of him. "Looks like the fourth wave has a couple of Bumpety Bombs on your sides!" Palutena warned. Lucifer thought quickly by attempting to run in circles to tire the Bumpety Bombs out, but they just kept on rolling behind him. "Shit! I can't shake 'em off my tail!" he grunted. "Guess I'll have to try a different tactic!" So, he decided to continue running right towards the Erinus. The foe was hoping to have the angel attack it so that it can split into two to gain the upper hand. But what Lucifer did instead was jumping over the Erinus with a Sky Jump before landing right behind it. Before the Erinus could attack, it widen its eye to see the Bumpety Bombs coming right towards it before they explode, destroying it. "Talk about a big boom," Lucifer chuckled. "However, this trial isn't over yet." As on queue, a Captain Flare, a Badoot, a Zert, and two Snowmen appeared to strike the angel. "The fifth wave is facing off enemies that possesses certain elements," Dyntos explained. "In this case, it's fire, electric, and ice." "An elemental attack, huh? This should be interesting," said Lucifer as soon as the Zert rammed right towards him, pushing him backwards. It then fired quick lightning bolts at Lucifer, but he dodged them quickly before running towards Captain Flare. The enemy himself opened up portals to launch meteorites from them and Lucifer jumped and slid over and under them to avoid them. But once he got to close to Captain Flare, he unleashed a powerful fiery blast to push the angel away. Then the Badoot flew right towards the angel and used its both sides in an attempt to both block and paralyze him. However, Lucifer quickly slid under them until he came across the Snowmen. Then, an idea came up. Since they possess certain elements, I can use them to my advantage, he thought. I just need to lure Captain Flare into the Snowmen. And just as he suspected, Captain Flare came up right behind him launched two more meteorites, right when the Snowmen blew out their icy breaths. Lucifer sky jumped to dodge both attacks and fired charged shots at the Badoot and Zert to destroy them. Once he landed back on the ground, he saw the aftermath of the attacks he dodged. The meteorites destroyed both Snowmen, while the Snowmen's icy breaths froze up Captain Flare. Lucifer finished it off with a mighty punch, shattering it to multiple icy pieces. "You're halfway there, sonny. Now it's time for wave six!" said Dyntos as a Cubberskull and a Clobbler, which was already in its monstrous form. "Two of the biggest monsters from both opposing armies, huh?" Lucifer taunted. "Well I guess I'll have to squash the tough heart and apple." As soon as the said that, the Clubberskull rushed towards Lucifer with its giant arms. It spun in place in an attempt to deal big damage on Lucifer, but the angel rocket jumped over it to avoid the attack. But once he landed, he saw the Clobbler rushing towards him as well. "Come and get me!" he taunted at the creature. "I dare you!" This made the Clobbler go faster and rammed towards Lucifer, only for the angel to quickly dodged to the left. The Clobbler instead rammed right towards the Clubberskull, and both of them fell from the platform into the darkness. "Well that was fast," Lucifer sighed. "Could've been better though." Just then, an Igniot, a Lethinium, and a Stackjaw appeared surrounding the angel. "This next wave involves ranged attack enemies," said Dyntos. "So let's see if you can put your dodging skills to the test." "You will be impressed by them, Lord Dyntos. I promise you that," Lucifer replied as soon as an Igniot fired a massive beam at him, causing the angel to quickly avoid the attack. "Igniots are capable of petrifying you, Lucifer," Palutena warned. "But with my powers, you'll only be temporarily turned into stone. So be careful." Suddenly, the Lethinium also fired a massive beam as well, but Lucifer quickly dodged it to avoid the attack. But that also made him in the line of fired form the Stackjaw, which released multiple shots at Lucifer to push him and he nearly fell off the platform. "Jesus Christ! Talk about a cheep trick trying to push me out of the arena!" he grunted. "Guess it's time for me to return the favor!" With that, he rushed towards his foes again before standing right in front of the Lethinium. The Igniot prepared to fire its laser at Lucifer again, until the angel quickly moved out of the line of fire. Once the Igniot fired its laser, it instead hit the Lethinium, petrifying it in the process. Before the creature could react, Lucifer fired two charged shots at both of the enemies, destroying them. Once the angel looked directly at the Stackjaw, he charged at the giant tower-like enemy before kicking down its pieces until it was left with only its head. The Stackjaw made its last effort by firing powerful shots at Lucifer, only for the angel to swiftly dodge them and return fire with a charge shot, destroying it. "Only two waves left! This day just keeps getting better and better!" he said. "Wave nine is the second hardest wave to go through," said Dyntos. "See for yourself, young'n." Suddenly, multiple more enemies appeared alongside an unusual purple-slimy enemy. "What IS that thing?" Lucifer asked, pointing at the creature. "That's a Guttler," Palutena explained. "Its purpose is to eat its friends and enemies alike to grow stronger." "So basically the more it eats, the more tough it will be to take down, right?" said Lucifer. "Yes. So its best for you to take it down first before dealing with the others," Palutena replied. Lucifer wasted no time and effort and proceeded to take down the Guttler first in order to stop it from becoming stronger. Unfortunately, it already gained enough power after eating most of the other enemies and pushed Lucifer away. "Damn it! It's too late to take him down easily," Lucifer grunted. "Guess I'll have to take down the other foes." Soon enough, he fired multiple shots at the other enemies to destroy them. Later on, he was face to face with the Guttler. "So, got any other bright ideas to attack me, slime-face?" he taunted. The Guttler growled in anger and opened its big mouth to gobble Lucifer up. But Lucifer stopped the enemy by holding its mouth with both of his hands. Suddenly, he activated his inner powers again and his aura glowed bright red around his body. "Is that all you got?! Well, how about THIS?!" he yelled as he suddenly split the Guttler wide open in half with his bare hands, destroying it in the process. However, his powers didn't subside yet. "Hope you have enough energy for this last wave, because there's going to be a big swarm waiting for you!" said Dyntos, and, as to be expected, a swarm of enemies from the Underworld and the Forces of Nature appeared in a circle around Lucifer. "Uh oh!" Palutena gasped in shock. But her disbelief was about to get bigger as Lucifer started to laugh manically. "HeheheheheheHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You call that a final wave?! Because I have a very special surprise just for you!" he laughed before beginning his battle cry. "Foolish enemies who stand against me! You cannot withstand the new power I possess against all who have fallen before me! I am Lucifer, the Captain of Palutena's Guard! And you! Are all! DEAD!" With that final word, Lucifer flew around the entire platform in a gigantic circle, causing a whirlwind to suck up all of the enemies. Then, he pierced through all of them one by one, destroying them all in the process without even giving them a chance to recover. After that, both the whirlwind and Lucifer's powers disappeared without a trace, leaving nothing but pieces of Lucifer's destroyed foes. The angel himself began breathing heavily after his massive attack. "*huff* *huff* *puff* So... Is that it?" he gasped. Dyntos was in a disbelief state after witnessing Lucifer's mighty attack, but later calmed himself down. "You have passed the second trial. Now, you shall face your final trial," he said. "And what would this 'final trial' be?" Lucifer asked. But as soon as he asked the question, the God of the Forge himself teleported right in front of the angel. "Your last trial is a simple one, sonny," he said. "And that is to defeat me in a duel. It will be a good time for me to stretch these bones for a while." He then cracked his back and stretched out the rest of his body. "Lord Dyntos! Are you sure about this?" Palutena asked in worry. "Don't worry, Palutena. I'm sure the young warrior wouldn't mind, now would he?" Dyntos replied. "Of course I wouldn't," said Lucifer. "This is going to be so much fun. Let's do this, old man!" The angel and the elder god then got into their battle stances to begin the fight.

Dyntos started the battle by slamming his mallet on the ground to create a massive earthquake, causing Lucifer to lose his balance. He quickly got back up just in time to avoid Dyntos' mallet attack that created a shockwave to fall down again. "For an old man, you sure are a force to be reckoned with!" the angel said. "You know they say you can't judge a book by its cover," Dyntos chuckled. "So an elder one can have good skills in combat and athletics." "Touché. But can you stop THIS?!" said Lucifer as he fired a charged shot at Dyntos, only for the elder god to push it away with his mallet. Then, he summoned multiple weapons and opened fire at the angel with multiple shots. Lucifer quickly ran around the entire platform to avoid all of the weapons' multi-fire. "Look alive there, sonny! I'm not someone you should underestimate!" said Dyntos. "And who said I shouldn't underestimate a foe when I have a backup plan?!" Lucifer replied as he activated his inner powers again. Suddenly, he let out a loud Sonic Boom roar that pushed all of the weapons out of Dyntos' reach. After that, Lucifer's aura disappeared. "So, what are you going to do now?" he asked. "I'll have to go harder on you, sonny!" Dyntos replied as he lifted his left arm and summoned giant pillars around the platform. He then teleported to the one in the middle that was in front of Lucifer. "Time to make it rain!" the elder god chuckled as the other pillars opened up from the tops to reveal balls of energy and fired directly at the angel. "Holy shit! This is surely a dance off!" he yelped. "Try dodging the energy balls to avoid getting damage!" Palutena explained. "You can also use your melee attacks to push them back at the pillars." Lucifer did as he was told and used his melee attacks to push the energy balls right back towards the pillars. He did them multiple times to deal lots of damage until they were destroyed. That caused Dyntos to leave the pillar he was sitting at as it began to crumble. "Not bad, sonny! But your trial is not over yet!" said the elder god. "Time to bring out my true extent of my powers!" Suddenly, his mallet glowed fiery blue as he charged at Lucifer. The angel acted quickly by preparing a charged shot and fired at Dyntos. But the elder god quickly pushed the shot out of the way like a baseball and continued to charge at Lucifer. "Oh no!" Palutena gasped. "Looks like this angel is going to be a squashed chicken!" Dyntos chuckled as he swung his mallet down on Lucifer as it made contact. But it didn't seem to end him at all. Dyntos' eyes widen as he saw Lucifer activated his inner powers again, holding the mallet with his bare hands. "Did you possibly think I would go down without a new trick up my sleeve?" he asked. "Before I finish this fight, let me show you my TRUE POWER!" With that, he roared a loud roar and pushed the mallet out of harm's way. Then, he charged at the elder god at high speeds before hitting him several times within each charge. After that, he jumped up as high as he can before delivering the final kick on Dyntos' face to finish the fight once and for all. "Nighty-night, gramps!" he said in victory. "You...win...!" Dyntos gasped in defeat.

The God of the Forge slowly started to get up from the platform and stretched his body again. "Woo. That was quite the workout, whippersnapper," he chuckled. "As promised, since you have passed your three trials, I shall now give you your Three Sacred Treasures." He held out his left hand and a mysterious box appeared on it. When the box opened up, out came a sword, a shield, and red wings. "Care to elaborate what these 'Sacred Treasures' are?" Lucifer asked. "These Sacred Treasures are the most powerful ones I have ever created. This sword right here is called the Sword of Fire. It can burn through enemies with ease. The shield over here is called the Flaming Shield. Not only it can block different attacks, but it can also repel them with pyro energy right back at enemies. And lastly, these wings are the Wings of Redness. They can grant unlimited flight and super speed to give the enemies the element of surprise," Dyntos explained. "Ever since I created them, no other angel could handle these weapons carefully. That's where you come in, Lucifer. Make sure you use them against Medusa and her Underworld army." He then placed the weapons back in the box before handing it to the angel, whom the latter smiled for receiving them. "Much appreciated, Lord Dyntos. I promise that I won't let them go to waste," he said. But what you don't know is that I'm going to use them to kill Gaia and her forces, he added in thought. "Good work, Lucifer. Let's get you back," Palutena congratulated before opening up a light pillar to whisk him back to the temple.

Once Lucifer was out of the area, Dyntos started to walk away. "Well, that was fun. But now it's time for this elder god to take a break," he sighed, but before he was about to leave, he heard someone teleporting behind him. He turned around to notice that Palutena entered the area with a frantic look on her face. "Oh, Palutena! I'm surprised to see you hear," he gasped at her appearance. "Is something the matter?" "Lord Dyntos! We have a big problem!" Palutena exclaimed in her frantic state with tears falling from her sockets. "You shouldn't have giving Lucifer those weapons! He lied to you! He's not going to use them to stop Medusa and the Underworld army. He's instead going after Gaia!" "WHAT?!" Dyntos exclaimed in shock. "Why didn't you tell me?" "I couldn't tell you when he was around at the moment because he warned me that he would kill me if I did," Palutena replied. "Right now he's not listening to us at this moment because he's not here. Though he might get suspicious about me not being in my temple. I'm sorry, Lord Dyntos." "No need to apologize, Palutena. I'm sure you can do something to stop him from killing your sister," said Dyntos. "In case something bad happens, I'm going to create another Three Sacred Treasures if anybody can get a hold of them. But if they don't work, then there's nothing else I can do." Palutena stopped crying and calmed down. "Much appreciated, Lord Dyntos. I promise that I won't disappoint you," she said before teleporting away from the workshop. "Now then, I better get to work in creating more weapons and three more Sacred Treasures," said the elder god as he left the platform via teleportation.

Meanwhile, Lucifer was waiting impatiently for Palutena to return, since, as Palutena expected, he was getting suspicious about what was taking her so long to get back. She should know better than to just leave the temple unannounced, he thought to himself. I swear if he told Dyntos about my plans, I'm going to strangle her to death. But before he could ponder a little longer about where Palutena was, the Goddess of Light herself arrived in the temple and saw the angel looking at her with a troubled look in his eyes. "What took you so long? You've been gone for about five minutes," he said. "Sorry. I had to run some errands with the other gods," Palutena lied. "You know how busy we gods are during our duties." "Yes, I am aware about how you gods are busy with your work. Just don't leave the temple without telling me first. Who knows what will happen if you don't come back here." Lucifer replied, though he wasn't sure if Palutena was telling the truth. Something tells me that I'm not exactly getting the full truth about Palutena's temporary absense, he thought to himself. I'll figure it out later soon enough. With that, he left the living room to go and prepare for the battle against Gaia, unaware of the fact that he still had more work to do.
Seems that Lucifer is starting to get a bit more suspicious about Palutena's lies. Sure, he warned her about not telling anybody else about his plan to kill Gaia, but that doesn't mean that he can be aware about what Palutena was doing after his warning. Also, the reason why I wanted Lucifer to pass three trials already, because he didn't seem powerful enough to face Gaia yet, since she's a god and Lucifer didn't have his own Three Sacred Treasures yet to face her. But now that he got them, he's going to go after her. Well...not yet actually. If you're wondering why, well stay tuned for chapter four of Episode Lucifer, review and have a great day!
