Here we go with our next chapter for you guys. Hope you guys like it.
Chapter Ten
He was worried. Worried for his future wife as he watched her run away from him and Noah after waking up from a nap that she just had while she cuddled up to him here in the screening room where they were talking with his sister. But now, she was no longer here as it seemed that she needed to run away from him and the situation; whatever that may be that just happened in here. And that wasn't something that Matt liked, as he would much rather be able to be there for her. To be able to hold her close and make her feel better. And that was why he already knew what he had to do as he turned his head and looked at his sister as she held their son. "Let me guess, the time which we're spending with each other is over?" Matt sighed as Christie asked him that question, as it was unfortunately. The time has come for him to leave as he needs to be somewhere else right now. And that place most certainly was not here with his sister, but with the woman he loves and his future wife, Miss Alexandra Marie Jacobs. "Unfortunately, it is for now. I'm not sure that Jim would do this for you, but I actually console the woman I love when she's in that state." Christie laughed and agreed.
After all, he just had to dig into her soon-to-be ex-husband. "Then go ahead and take care of Alex, I'll stay here." Matt sighed as Christie said that, well aware of what she was implying, which would be that she would stay here with Noah, which was not happening. As much as he trusts his sister, he wants to be with his little guy on his first day home. "I love you Christie, and I would love it if you babysat him; but not right now. Not when Alex may need to cuddle up to him and hold her boys close to her." Christie agreed with Matt as he said that, as that made sense. "Yeah, I hope she's okay?" Matt sighed. "I don't know what's going on. All I know is that as much as I love you and want to be here for you, I need to go be a good future husband right now. Plus, this guy needs to go down for his four o'clock nap after he gets a feeding. Whether we come back down is TBD as we didn't sleep the best last night." Christie was confused as she heard Matt say that. "Seriously? I would think that sleeping in your own bed would've helped at least a bit, even with this little one waking up in the middle of the night." Shaking his head, Matt sighed as they didn't sleep here last night.
Rather, they stayed at the hospital so that they could bring Jessica home with them. "We didn't sleep here last night Christie. We slept at the hospital so that we could bring Jessica home with us, remember? She's here and it's why we need to be quiet right now." His sister agreed with Matt as he said that. "Yeah, that makes sense. I'm just glad that I got to meet little Noah here before Andy." Matt agreed as he picked him up and held him close. "Just remember what we talked about when it comes to godparents. We already picked Andy, Jessica, and Anna." Christie agreed with Matt, well aware of the reasons. "Andy as he's our brother…still can't believe that." Matt agreed as he felt the same way. "Jessica because she was the one that gave birth to Noah." Matt agreed with his sister, while cuddling up to his son and rubbing his back while kissing the side of his head. After which, he just bounced him as he rocked him to sleep. "Yeah, so I invited Andy to join us at Christmas if that's okay." Christie agreed with Matt. "Of course, it is, I want to get to know my brother some more." Matt smiled, agreeing with Christie as she said that. "And yes, I already told him to bring the childhood pics."
Christie agreed with Matt, when she remembered something. "That reminds me, I already spoke to the legal team. They're reaching out to the lawyers of all the newspapers, etc. in Chicago and they're going to put the deal we had when Violet was born in place again; so, you shouldn't have any problems when it comes to paparazzi." Matt laughed. "Oh, believe me, this place is pretty safe. Why do you think I always came here some weekends? Nobody could get me here. This is me and Alex's home, and always has been." Christie was surprised. "Wait Hallie…" Matt shook his head. "Nope, this has only been me and Alex's home and I love it. I love the fact that we have a home of our own that only we get to enjoy with each other as we take it easy with each other." Christie then decided to add on. "That reminds me, can you…" Interrupting his sister, Matt agreed as that was the case. "Trust me, we aren't having sex for a while. We want to take it easy and concentrate on Noah and planning our wedding. Speaking of which, I want you in the bridal party." Christie smiled. "Wait, hers or yours?" Matt smiled. "I don't know. All I know, is that I want you and Andy to walk down the aisle."
Christie then realized something. "To think, you wanted to set me up with him when me and Jim broke up in college. You wanted me and him to date." Matt just shivered at the sound of that. "Yeah, not the best idea in retrospect. Wait, I just realized something." Christie was confused. "What's that?" Matt sighed. "Mom and Ms. Darden were pregnant at the same time. He's 2 months younger than me." Christie just put her hands on her mouth as she was shocked. "Shit." Matt agreed with Christie. "I mean, not to say that's worse than what you're going through with Jim but…" Christie laughed. "Yeah, I think mom had it worse." Matt nodded. "Listen, we need to talk about that. I appreciate what you said, but I want my family back; especially when I have a son. Believe me, I'm already going to be dealing with enough." Christie was confused. "What?" Matt sighed. "Mom's going to live with me and Alex. I'm still going to want to see Andy here at times." Christie got worried. "Oh fuck." Matt agreed. "Yeah. Hey mom, this is my childhood best friend and half-brother." Christie sighed. "God, you sure you want her to live with you?" Matt nodded. "I want to give her what she didn't get."
Christie already knew what Matt was talking about. "You mean from when I gave birth to Violet." Matt agreed, as that was precisely what he was talking about. He wanted to give his mother what she didn't get when Christie gave birth, which is a chance to help take care of her grandchild during the early days of her life. "Either that, or I have my future in-laws move in." Christie agreed. "Have you already met them?" Matt nodded. "Yeah, and so have you." Christie was confused. "I already met them?" Matt smiled. "Her dad is John Jacobs." Christie was shocked. "You mean an accountant with Casey Construction? The new hire?" Matt agreed. "Just easier. Means that we can contact each other faster and I can get him time off if we need him here." Christie agreed. "Hey, at least he doesn't work directly for you." Matt then took a breath. "Speaking of working. Do you think that you and Jim can co-exist at the company? Or do you want me to fire him? I'm already giving you permission to fire Kerri." Christie agreed with Matt. "Thanks for letting me do that." Matt snickered. "Are you kidding me? I want you to do that. Just let me know what you and Jim do. I mean, if you divorce."
Christie agreed with Matt. "You think I should give him another chance?" Matt shook his head. "Oh, hell no! I just want to make sure you tell him in advance. He needs to find another job to make sure that he can keep paying the mortgage if he wants to live in the house." Christie nodded, well aware that the company is paying for it. "Yeah, we have a lot to figure out. I may stay with him. I am not sure, just don't judge. I need to see what's best for us now for Violet." Matt agreed. "Hey, look at me for a second." Christie agreed with Matt. "Violet is your daughter in every way. Look how messed up our childhood was. If our childhood was that messed up, and we achieved all this? Me taking over the company and completely rebranding it, while building it up and making it even better; then I think we both know that Violet will be just as fine with us. Christie, you went to the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, while I went to Harvard Business School. She's going to be fine if she's anything like us." Christie agreed. "And that means you don't need to stay with Jim when he cheated on you. And please don't go down that path." Christie agreed, nodding.
After all, she knew precisely what path he was talking about; he was talking about the path that their mom took, which later led to their dad's murder and her going to jail. "Still hate what dad did to you." Matt agreed. "Is it wrong that I'm glad that I never have to introduce him to Noah?" Christie snickered. "Not one bit." Matt agreed with Christie, before going to hug her. "Listen, call me if you need something and don't leave. Stay here for a while and call me when Violet joins us. Andy is coming soon. Not sure if he's coming Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, but he's coming to celebrate with us. So are my future in-laws." Christie agreed with Matt. "Of course. Now, how about you go do your job as Alex's fiancé and take care of her after whatever happened." Matt agreed with Christie before going to hug her. "Call me if you need me." Christie agreed with Matt. "Same goes for you." Matt agreed before walking away so that he can go be with Alex right now, which is where she needs him to be at the moment. With her, holding her in his arms right now.
They just finished putting Noah in his crib after Alex gave him a quick feeding this afternoon. A feeding that he most certainly needed after he started to cry when they got upstairs, while also taking a nap. And that was precisely what Matt thought Noah needed to do right now, as he and Alex need some time together. And while they could've easily asked Christie to watch their little boy, he needs to be up here right now as they are breastfeeding him. And since they're breastfeeding him, he needs to stay close so that Alex can feed him at a moment's notice, which is precisely what she's going to do, while also getting some attention from her loving husband. Attention that she frankly needs at the moment due to the fact that she just has a lot on her mind. And that was in fact why Matt decided to get changed in the washroom, so that he can give his wife some attention and help her feel better; something Alex just realized Matt was going to do when she saw him walk out of the bathroom in his boxers with Cassie and Theo's water bowls. "C'mon you two. Let's give you some water and then you can go lay down on your beds." Smiling, Alex just loved the sound of that.
The sound of her future husband talking to their dogs as if they're children, which they are to her. To her, Cassie and Theo are just as much their children as Noah or any of their future children are/will be. They are treated as their children and will always be treated as their children; something that Matt is already well aware of. "Yeah, you two just want some nice water so that you can relax and take it easy like me and mommy are going to do with each other." Snickering when she heard that, Alex smiled as she looked up at the man of her dreams. The man she loves more than anything in the entire world and feels so lucky to have in her life. "God, I feel so lucky and unworthy of you." Alex shook her head. "I'm unworthy of you." Matt nodded, smiling at the woman he loves as she laid down in their bed with the hopes of having him come and join her, which is precisely what he plans on doing anyways. He plans on joining her in bed, so that he can hold her close to him and make sure that they take it easy with each other; as he doesn't want anymore drama than they already just had. I mean, not that Matt isn't going to be there for Alex if she needs him as he most certainly will be.
He'll always be there for her, due to the fact that he loves her, which is precisely what he plans on telling her, as he walked away from the dog bowls and over to her side of the bed where he plans on sitting down. "Oh, so I get a nice visit from the man of my dreams before he joins me in bed?" Matt smiled and agreed with Alex, as that's precisely what she's going to get. She's going to get him holding her close, as they just take it easy and relax with each other. "I think we both already know what's what you want anyways. You want me to hold you in my arms as we just take it easy and relax with each other. However, I want to know something baby. What are you thinking about?" Taking a breath, Alex sighed as she decided to sit up and look at the man she loves; while Matt got close to her and placed his hand on her stomach. And the way Alex reacted to him touching her stomach was all he needed to know when it came to what she was thinking about, as he already knew it in his heart that she was thinking about the baby they lost. The baby that she was actually pregnant with after they celebrated their engagement in Hawaii. "Aloha?" That was their safe word.
The safe word they use to ask whether they're thinking about the baby they lost in October, as the baby was conceived at their home in Hawaii, which is precisely why Alex just nodded as that was exactly what she was just dreaming about. She was dreaming about how they celebrated their engagement in Hawaii, which led to them getting pregnant on their own rather than using a surrogate. And that was the real reason why Alex was really taking this hard, due to the fact that it really hurt; knowing that she was already pregnant with Noah's younger sibling prior to her miscarrying. "You okay?" Alex shook her head, as it still hurt. "It still hurts." Matt agreed with Alex as he got close to her, placing his hand on the side of her face before stroking her cheek. "Baby, of course it still hurts. I would be surprised if it didn't still hurt. I just…I wish you told me so that I can help you through the pain that we're both dealing with right now." Alex was a bit surprised to hear Matt say that. "You're dealing with it?" Matt nodded. "Baby, it pains me to see you hurt. Especially when we've always wanted to be parents, and when it makes me wonder more about the timeline you want for our wedding."
Alex sighed as Matt asked her that question. "Babe, is there a reason why you want to do a summer wedding when it might be really hot out? Rather than a spring or fall wedding in the backyard like you want?" Alex sighed as Matt asked her that question, before slipping over in bed as she wants Matt to join her. And once she slipped over, that was precisely what he did. He opened the covers so that he could get in bed with the woman he loves and make her feel better, which is exactly what she wants him to do. She wants Matt to get in bed with her so that he could make her feel better, something he's truly an expert at in her opinion.
They decided to take a few minutes to just think and take it easy before they started talking to each other, while still cuddling up to each other and holding each other in bed, which frankly, was exactly what Alex needed at the moment. She needed to be held in Matt's arms as they cuddled up to each other and just concentrated on each other, which is what matters at the moment. The two of them concentrating on each other is what matters, and Alex is so glad that they're in the midst of doing that; because if there's on thing that Alex really loves, it's the feeling of her future husband stroking her back with his thumb and kissing her forehead. "Thanks for holding me like this." Matt shook his head as he wrapped his legs around Alex's, before turning his head once more and pressing his lips to her forehead. "Babe, I've told you this numerous times before; and I'll continue to say it for the rest of our lives, I love you and I will always hold you in my arms like this when you need me to do so." Alex agreed with Matt, well aware that was the case. Still, she did like to thank him. "Sorry if I like to thank you." Matt agreed, smiling as he felt her kiss his chest for him this morning.
After which, she laid her head down while cuddling up to the man of her dreams some more; something that led to him moaning due to the fact that she just pressed her breasts to his chest. "Damn Alex." Alex smiled as she heard Matt say that. "Oh, shut up, you tease me by just walking around in your boxers; something that you do all the time might I add." Matt agreed with Alex, well aware that was the case as he ran his hand up and down her back. "Never heard you complain that I was just wearing my tight boxers around the house for you." Alex agreed with Matt, as that most certainly is the truth. "And you will never hear me complain when I think that it's the hottest thing in the entire world." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, smiling as he turned his head and then leaned in to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. The woman of his dreams and the love of his life, Ms. Alexandra Marie Jacobs. "I can't wait to call you my wife, as that means that you're the only woman who will ever see that again." Turning her head, Alex looked up at Matt. "Aren't I already that woman?" Matt nodded, before taking a breath. "Truth is, I always worry."
Alex agreed with Matt. "I mean, I screwed up one engagement already; could I do it again with another engagement?" Alex shook her head, as she didn't feel like he had it in him to do it again; especially not to her or Noah. "Babe, you would never do that to me or Noah. We both already know that." Matt agreed with Alex, as that most certainly is the truth; and everybody knew it, including Cassie and Theo as they jumped up onto the bed and yipped a bit. However, that was the last thing that the couple wanted as Noah is currently asleep. "Hey, quiet. Noah is sleeping you two. Come here quietly." Both of their dogs agreed with Matt as he said that, while making their way over to him and laying down next to him, which then led to Matt putting his hand on top of their heads and scratching them, an action which made Alex smile and led to her bending down and kissing his chest again. "Such a good dog dad, and dad in general." Matt smiled as he heard Alex say that, well aware that was the case as he ran his finger up and down her back while they cuddled up to each other in bed. He then turned his head and smirked as he kissed the top of her head this afternoon.
However, Alex started to do something else, which was think, think about a question that just came to her and which she felt like she needed to talk to Matt about due to the fact that she's the one that brought Cassie and Theo into their relationship. And that would be whether he would be okay with them always having two dogs, as she just can't see her life without two dogs. "Matt, can I ask you a question?" Turning his head, Matt agreed as he ran his fingers up and down her back. "Hey, of course you can babe; you can always ask me a question." Taking a breath, Alex looked up at the man of her dreams. "I'm not saying that this will happen anytime soon. But when I see my life going forward, I see us married with kids…and two Yorkshire Terriers. I guess, what I'm wonder is…" Matt smiled as he leaned in and kissed Alex, interrupting her in the process. "Yes." Alex smiled as she heard her future husband say that, as she loves the sound of that. "I didn't think it would be that easy." Matt smiled. "Honestly, the girls have grown on me. And I feel the same way."
Turning her head again, Alex looked up at the man of her dreams. "And when I think of what I see going forward, I see us having two or three kids, and two dogs." Alex smiled as Matt said that, before biting her lip. "And in terms of work, do you see any way that you might take a step back in the future. I mean, maybe not forever but…enough for us to take vacations sometimes with the kids." Turning his head, Matt was surprised as he heard Alex ask him whether they were going to take family vacations in the future, because that was something that they most certainly where going to do. They were going to explore the world as a family, including when they need to go on trips. "Babe, do you really think I would travel anywhere without you or the kids? God, I already see this in my mind already. Like, if I travel on a business trip, you guys would come, and we explore the world as a family; something I always wanted to do as a kid but never got a chance to do. So, I want to give that to our kids." Alex smiled as she heard Matt say that.
While also wondering something else. "And might one of those trips include a stop in Paris?" Matt smiled as he heard Alex say that, before going to make a joke. "Why would we go to Perris, when we have a home in LA County?" Turning her head to look up at Matt, Alex was not amused as he very much knew that was not the Paris that she was talking about. "Haha, very funny. Keep that up, and you give up any chance of Christmas or New Year's sex." Matt was shocked as he heard Alex say that. "Excuse me?" Alex agreed with Matt. "Last time I checked, your sister is here." Matt agreed with Alex, well aware that was the case. "By the way, you're sure that you're okay with my mom doing her parole here with us?" Alex agreed with Matt, as that was something that she was more than okay with. "Of course, I am baby, I want Noah to know his grandma." Matt agreed, well aware that was the case. He just wishes that was the grandma that they were about to talk about right now as they heard Alex's phone ring. "God, I need to see how it is." Matt agreed as he let Alex check her phone, only to see that it was her parents. "Hey, it's my parents. Do you mind?" Matt shook his head.
"Of course not. Cuddle up to me and let's talk to your parents."
Alex agreed with Matt, before doing just that: she cuddled up to Matt, while answering the call and putting it on speakerphone as she cuddled up to the man of her dreams once more and placed her phone on his chest. "Hi mom." Alex's mom, Natalie Jacobs, couldn't help but sound happy as she heard the sound of her daughter's voice for the first time since yesterday when she became a grandma, something Matt decided to remind her. "How's Noah's favorite grandma and my future favorite mother-in-law?" Laughing as she heard Matt say that, Natalie just went to shut him up. "Nice try, I am not coming to get him just if you want to have a night with my daughter." Alex laughed, as that wasn't happening. "Mom, no need to worry about that. Believe me, he isn't going anywhere when it's out first Christmas as a family." Natalie agreed with her daughter as she said that, while letting out a sigh. "And that's actually the reason I'm calling. I'm wondering what the plans are for Christmas. We normally come here, but I don't know with Noah." Matt sighed as he turned his head and pressed his lips before speaking up to tell her about the plans they have here with his family.
After all, he wants to spend Christmas with Andy. "Well, we actually already have plans for Christmas Day here at our place." Natalie agreed with Matt as she said that. "I had a feeling. So, you want us to come there then? Or do you want it alone?" Alex laughed. "Mom, we already have 8 people coming over for Christmas." Natalie was confused. "Who's coming over for Christmas?" Matt smiled. "It's my first Christmas where I know my best friend is really my half-brother. So, he, his wife, and their two sons are coming over so that they can spend Christmas here with us; and my sister is already here after she and her husband had a fight. Also, Jessica and Anna are already here, and they are going to celebrate Christmas with us after what they did for us." Natalie agreed with her future son-in-law. "Well, that makes sense. Would you be okay with making it 11 people? Add me, your dad, and then your sister Alex?" Turning her head, Alex smiled as she looked up at Matt. "Is that too much?" Turning his head, Matt was surprised as Alex asked him whether 11 people would be too much her parents. "Alex, of course not. I want Noah to be surrounded by family this Christmas."
Alex agreed with Matt. "Plus, I can show off my engagement ring to my mom." Natalie was surprised. "Right, sorry about that sweetie. Congratulations on your engagement. Now, when can I get a picture?" Smirking as she went to grab her phone, Alex then proceeded to find a picture of the engagement ring that she already took. "Mom, I'm going to send you a picture. Tell me what you think when you see it." Natalie agreed, more than ready to see what the engagement ring looks like.
She was currently in the midst of admiring the gorgeous ring which her daughter now proudly wore on her finger, as she was engaged to the father of her child and the love of her life; as well as the owner of the company for which her daughter worked for, Mr. Matthew Casey. And she had to say that the man picked a really nice ring for her daughter, something that she was going to give him credit for. "Wow, that truly is a beautiful ring." And that was not just a sentiment that Alex's mother felt, as her father felt the same thing; that the ring which the man who would one day be his son-in-law was perfect for his baby girl. "Is that a heart-shaped diamond?" And let's just say that comment surprised his daughter, as she had no idea that her father even had that much attention to detail; nor did she know that he had knowledge of the types of rings. "What, I know about rings. Heaven knows that I heard about it enough at work. I swear, I am one of the oldest ones there. Everybody is so young!" Matt agreed with John as he said that, well aware that was the case.
After all, he wants people to work their way up rather than down. "I want people to stay at the company for a long time, rather than just have them be there for a short amount of time. So, you hire them young and keep them loyal by giving them perks. Some which I have yet to really announce as they are still in the planning stages." Turning her head, Alex was confused as she heard Matt say that. "You have plans that are in the planning stages? Then why haven't I heard about them?" Matt sighed as Alex asked him that question. "I promise, I will tell you." Alex smirked, agreeing with the man she loves as she cuddled up to her fiancé some more; with her breasts now firmly placed on his chest as he wants her to do. And let's just say that it's really hot, because damn does he love the feeling that comes with his future wife's body being right on top of his; so much so, that he turned his head and kissed the top of hers while whispering to her. "I hope you know that really turns me on babe." Alex snickered as she heard Matt say that, well aware that was the case, which is precisely why she did it as she wants to turn him on. "So, quick job update mom and dad." Matt agreed, smiling.
However, the same couldn't be said for John and Natalie; as they were confused, especially Alex's father. "What are you talking about sweetheart? Wait, does this engagement stop you from modelling! Matt, seriously…" Matt then proceeded to add on. "HEY! I didn't do this. This is all Alex. I mean, not that I want to say this to my future in-laws; but do you really think I would VOLUNTARILY ask my lingerie model fiancé to stop modelling for the company?" John and Natalie both agreed with Matt, as that didn't make any sense, especially to Alex's father. "Yeah, that doesn't make any sense whatsoever; especially not when…" Alex then went to stop her father as he was starting to creep her out a bit. "Okay dad. A bit too creepy there." John agreed with his daughter as she said that, well aware that was the case. "By the way, where are you guys living now? That doesn't look like your place in Chicago." Matt shook his head. "We live in Mokena in our home, it's really nice. Jessica is here too, as is my sister at the moment." John agreed with Matt. "Everything okay with her husband? We both know that they didn't always have the best relationship." Turning his head, Matt looked at Alex.
And just like that, she folded right away. "OK. Yes, I told my parents some background in case they saw stuff on the news. What? I don't want to have to tell them everything every single time they hear something on the news when I'm a new mom and fiancé." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, while also kissing her forehead softly. "They also know about Andy." Natalie agreed with Alex as she said that. "Yeah, how does that feel Matt? To know that your long-time best friend is also your half-brother?" Matt sighed, as he was still dealing with that. "Yeah, still dealing with that if we're being completely honest." Alex agreed with Matt, well aware that was something they still needed to talk about, which is why she bent down and kissed his chest once more. "Do you need to talk about that with me babe?" Running his hand down Alex's back, Matt turned his head before shaking his head due to the fact that he thought he was okay. But the truth was, he didn't know whether he truly was okay. Rather, he still had a lot on his mind when it came to that.
Things that he may very much want to speak to his future wife about, as they cuddle up to each other and just hold each other in bed; but that didn't mean that he wanted to have his future in-laws as part of the conversation, which is the last thing that he wanted. Rather, he wanted to have this conversation alone with the woman he loves. And that was something that everybody understood, especially Alex as she could start to tell in the later stages of the call that Matt ended up zoning out a bit so that he could instead concentrate on what he was thinking about alone; something which would also lead to him going downstairs alone mid call.
Casey Kitchen – He was alone for a moment as he stood in the kitchen, clad in nothing but his boxers as he let Cassie and Theo get a bit of exercise in the backyard of his and Alex's home; something that they clearly needed at the moment. Meanwhile, he needed to take a bit of time to think about everything that was currently on his mind. And the truth was, there was a lot that was on his mind at the moment; much more than he originally though. And that was the entire reason why Alex decided to come downstairs and be with her man while he took care of the dogs, so that she could check on him and make sure that he was okay. She just hoped that he would open up to her. "Hey." Turning around to face Alex as she came downstairs to join him, Matt let out a sigh. "Hey, I thought you were talking to your parents." Alex nodded. "We were. But I ended up ending the call when you came down here as this is where I need to be at the moment." Matt agreed with Alex as she made her way over to him. And when she was next to him, he wrapped his arm around her and held her close as that's precisely what he needed to do at the moment. He had to hold her close to him right now.
And Alex wasn't going to lie, she really did love the feeling of her man holding her close to him as he is right now. It truly is the best feeling in the entire world, especially as Matt pressed his lips to her forehead. "You okay baby?" Matt sighed as Alex asked him whether he was okay, as he wished more than anything that he could say that he was. That he could tell her that he was okay, and that she didn't need to worry about him right now; but he knew full well that wasn't going to work. Rather, it would just make things harder on them as it would mean that he was lying to the woman he loves, which is the last thing that he wants to do when all she wants to do is help her. "I guess, after what your dad said about Andy; it's just on my mind again some more." Alex agreed with Matt as she rubbed his back while holding the love of her life close to her. She then leaned up and smiled as she went ahead and kissed him, which is precisely what Matt wants her to do for him right now. He wants to feel her sweet lips on his as they share a kiss.
And when he says sweet lips, he truly means that due to the fact that he loves kissing this gorgeous woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. And that will always be the case simply due to the fact that she is the best thing that's ever happened to him. "Did I ever tell you that you're the best thing that's ever happened to me?" Alex smiled as she heard Matt say that, while feeling him bend down and kiss her again. "You're making me want to have sex with you again." Matt shook his head, as that wasn't going to happen, which is something that they both already know. "We both already know that's not happening babe." Alex smiled as she agreed with the man of her dreams, the only man she can honestly say she even considered marrying. "I hope you know that you're the only man whom I ever would've accepted a proposal from." Smirking, Matt agreed with his future wife as he loves the sound of that. Him being the only man she would've accepted a proposal from, as it makes him feel very special. "Well, that makes me feel special." Alex smiled as she heard Matt say that. "Good, because that's what it was meant to do; make you feel special." Matt smiled.
After which, he bent down and kissed the woman he loves again before picking her up in his arms and moving to set her down on the counter; and damn, did Alex love that feeling. Especially when Matt got close to her and tugged her body against his chest. "Fuck, you are so sexy babe." Matt agreed with Alex as he brought her against his chest, smirking due to the fact that he truly loves this woman more than anything in the entire world. She has his heart now and forever, which most certainly is something that she already knew. "God, I hope you know that you have my heart forever babe." Alex agreed with Matt, well aware that was the case as she held the man she loves close to her; before wrapping her arms around his neck and starting to take things nice and slow with the man of her dreams. The man she loves more than anything in the entire world, her future husband Matthew Casey. "God, I can't wait to marry you." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Wedding planning in bed?" Alex smirked as that was something that she loved the sound of. But right now, she wants to take it easy as it was their first day home. "Cuddling."
Matt agreed with Alex, smiling at her. "It's our first day home babe. We can take it easy and wait for a bit." Alex smiled, as that was precisely what she was thinking. "And that was exactly what I was thinking. Now, what do you say we go back up to bed so that we can do just that?" Matt agreed with Alex once more, before picking her up in his arms so that he can carry her back to bed where they plan on taking things nice and slow as they held each other close in bed. And the truth was, that was all Alex wanted right now. To hold the man she loves close to her, as they took things nice and slow with each other; in the comfort of their bed. The bed which they would share with each other for the rest of their lives, and would someday conceive a child in. Either there or in Hawaii together. Because she would most certainly not be opposed to the idea of them going to Hawaii and making love to each other on the beach again, so that they can get pregnant with their next child. The first child which she's going to carry for her and Matt, which makes her happy.
