Trying my hand at writing drabbles that are unrelated to each other. A compelling and original retelling of the classic Batman origin story, with new characters such as Borris Wayne and the Mage of Misery, as well as an in-depth exploration of Batman's inner psychology: his guilt over his parents' deaths, his responsibility to live up to their legacy, and his hatred of the crime in Gotham City, as well as his tendencies towards violence and anger.

After a fight with Trigon, Dick is pulled through a portal into hell and finds himself badly injured in a completely hostile world. Left to his own devices and surrounded by all kinds of monsters, Dick has only one option. Survive as long as possible until rescue approaches. But at this point no one knew what consequences this would have.
