Chapter 19: The Endgame
Everyone was back in Compa's apartment but things were rather awkward amongst a certain few.
"…," Noire was scowling at Blanc.
"…," the CPU of Lowee was pointedly ignoring her as well.
MarvelousAQL sweatdropped, knowing the reason why they were acting this way "Um…I'm not so sure about the bonding part,"
Falcom smiled awkwardly "I guess a simple argument can turn into something big when CPUs are involved,"
"For goddesses, they can be so childish," Broccoli sighed in annoyance.
Histoire coughed loudly to gain everyone's attention "Now, about the whereabouts of Arfoire, we can't seem to find her,"
"Are you sure you looked good?" asked Neptune.
"All the people in the Lands search for her, I believe we did our due diligence,"
Vert was just as disappointed "It's quite unfortunate, just when I wish to go on the offensive…,"
"Looking back on our past encounters, Arfoire seems to be quite evasive and was only found when she lets us," said Gatchmon thoughtfully.
"That certainly seems to be the case," Model X was in agreement.
"But right now, it's urgent that we locate her before she does something irreparable to Gamindustri itself," Model Z pointed out.
Meanwhile, Naruto was sitting on the couch with a lost look in his eye when he was suddenly snapped out of his thoughts by the familiar sound of maniacal laughter which was all too familiar to everyone in the room.
"Hahahahahaha!"
"I know that dry-aged laugh anywhere, it's Arfoire!" said Neptune as everyone jumped from their seats.
"Denizens of the world, can you hear me?"
"But where is the voice coming from?" asked Compa confusedly.
"I believe it's being transmitted from Celestia," said Histoire with a small frown on her face.
"I will use the power of a god to be rid of the world underneath!"
IF quirked an eyebrow "For someone who's being pushed into a corner, she sure is being haughty,"
"It's those kinds of people you must be wary as they're willing to do just about anything to win," said Vert, having met such people during her online gaming sessions.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake rather violently which alarmed everybody as they struggled to maintain their balance to avoid falling down.
"Wha-Wha-Wha-Wha-Wha-What's going on?!" asked Neptune in a panic.
"I don't know, but all fingers point to Arfoire!" said Naruto.
Eventually the ground stopped shaking much to everyone's relief but it didn't make them any less wary of the situation.
Histoire seemed to be focusing on something when she gasped in shock and disbelief "This can't be…how could she?"
"Would you mind telling us what's going on instead of mumbling to yourself?" asked Noire urgently.
"Arfoire is planning to…make the 4 Lands collide with each other,"
Hearing this shocked everyone in the room, knowing what would happen if this came to past; the casualties would be far too many to even consider counting.
"Is that even possible?" asked Blanc worriedly.
"Do not forget that Arfoire now possesses the powers of all Four Goddesses, such a feat is possible for her," said MAGES. with a frown.
Compa was horrified to hear of this "All of the Lands are in danger?"
"We need to do something to stop her and fast!" said Neptune with determination.
Naruto spoke up "We now know that Arfoire is in Celestia, so we need to get up there and end this once and for all!"
Noire nodded in agreement "Naruto's right, I'm not going to let her do this!"
"But how are we going to reach Celestia?" asked Tekken confusedly.
"There's a gate in the Basilicom that CPUs use to transport Celestia, let's use the one at the Planeptune Basilicom!" said Histoire.
As everyone exited from Compa's apartment, Naruto was the last to leave when Kurama spoke to him.
[Aren't you going to tell them? We pretty much figured what would happen the moment Arfoire is defeated] said Kurama.
Naruto frowned a bit "I know that but I can't tell them, the last thing I want to do is make them lose focus. The entire Gamindustri is in danger now, I can't afford to distract them,"
"But if you leave without them knowing, it will make them very sad," said Herissmon with concern.
"I know, I'm racking my brains out to figure what to do!"
"Calm yourself, young one," said Elrath in a fatherly tone "I understand how stressful you must feel right now, but calm down so you can make the right decision,"
"…Thanks Elrath-san, I'll see what I can do as time goes,"
Soon enough, the group arrived at the Planeptune's Basilicom and made their way to the room where the gate to Celestia was situated.
"Whoa, I never would have thought that the Basilicom would have something like this set up," said IF in wonder.
"Now's not the time, Iffy. Everyone, please step onto the device in the center of the room," Histoire instructed. Everyone clambered onto the Warp Pad, but the main issue was that there isn't enough room for everyone to stand inside.
"It's super tight here," Compa whined as she tried to stay inside the Warp Pad.
Neptune herself was being squeezed in the middle by Compa and MAGES. which she wasn't displeased about "Hey look, a pair of white lumpy balls of yarn in front of my eyes!"
"Nep-Nep, please don't move around so much!"
"I've come up with a great idea to free up some space, I'll just do this!" Vert suddenly wrapped her arms around IF and held her close.
"L-L-Lady Vert!?" IF stammered in surprise.
"Quite a great idea if I must say,"
Blanc glared at the two of them but then had an idea of her own "Such an idea is sound, which is why I shall employ it as well," she went and hugged Naruto tightly who was shocked by this action.
"H-Hey, what are you doing!?" asked Noire who was flabbergasted by this.
"Utilizing an efficient maneuver, you can do the same supposing you have someone close to you," Blanc explained.
Noire got irritated at what she was insinuating "Quite calling me a loner already!"
Blanc responded stoically "I never said such a thing,"
"Grrrrrr!"
"Histoire, could you please hurry before someone gets left out?" CyberConnect2 suggested urgently, seeing that a fight is about to break out and wants to avoid that.
Histoire finally finished setting in the coordinates "Alright then, here we go! In 3…2…1…transport!" she pressed the button but nothing happened and screen displayed the words ERROR on it "Huh? That's rather odd, it should have transported you all,"
Everyone tumbled out of the Warp Pad with Neptune speaking up "What's the matter, malfunction of the equipment or something?"
Histoire typed on the keypad and frowned at what she's seeing "It looks like Celestia has denied access,"
"You mean to say that we can't use the gate, even from the other Basilicom of our Lands?" asked Noire.
"No doubt the work of Arfoire, she knew that we would try to use the Gate to go after her the moment we learn that she's in Celestia. That sly old hag…," said Blanc with a growl of anger.
"Could we use other means to reach Celestia, like a plane or helicopter?" Tekken suggested timidly.
Vert responded whilst still hugging a still blissful IF "I'm afraid that's impossible, Celestia can't be reached by normal means,"
"Well we need new options and fast, the clock's ticking as we speak," said Naruto urgently.
"Besides all that…," Noire glared at Blanc "When are you going to let go of Naruto since we can't use the gate anymore?!"
Apparently, Blanc was still hugging Naruto who now recalled and was blushing in embarrassment with the former speaking "Oh my, I wasn't aware I was still doing so,"
"Well, you can let go now!"
Blanc shrugged her shoulders and even hugged more tightly "I'm not exactly in a hurry to release my hold on him at the moment,"
Noire gritted her teeth "Why you…!"
At that moment, the staff member of the Basilicom entered and noticed the situation "It would appear that you need some assistance,"
MAGES. nodded in affirmation "Indeed we do, the gate isn't working like we wanted it to and urgently need alternatives to reach Celestia,"
"Then why not utilize the Rainbow Bridge used by the Heroes Quartet in the past?" the staff member suggested.
"Oh course, how could I have forgotten about it?" said Histoire.
"Sounds like we have our alternative, let's head over there," said Gatchmon.
"Before you go, I would like to give Lady Purple Heart something," the staff held out a sword for Neptune.
"A present for me? Awww, you shouldn't have," Neptune happily took the weapon.
"Not only is it a weapon of the Quartet, but also one of the keys needed to activate the Rainbow Bridge to Celestia,"
"You mean that's the real Trinity Blade? But it looks different from its original form," said MarvelousAQL confusedly.
"Well, it was hundreds of years old and needed a revamp," the staff member explained.
[In other words, all four weapons have been officially changed from their original forms] said Kurama as a matter-of-factly much to Histoire's ire.
"Since it's no longer the Trinity Blade, I would like Lady Purple Heart to christen it with a new name,"
Neptune hummed in thought before speaking up "How about MasterBlade Neptune?" everyone looked at her in silence at such a terrible name for the new weapon.
"I apologize Neptune, but I just can't agree with that name," said Histoire.
"Naming a weapon after yourself? That's so tacky," Blanc commented.
"I hardly sense any inspiration at all," Noire stated.
Even Vert had her own input "Using your own name for a weapon is unheard of, even in video games,"
Neptune was shocked at the negative reviews towards her name for the sword "Whoa whoa whoa, you can be serious! It's a cool name, right guys?" she turned to Compa and the rest.
The pinkette smiled sheepishly "I know you tried really hard on the naming, but…,"
"I've been betrayed by Compa?!"
Naruto rubbed the back of his head "I'm sorry Nep-chan, but I'll have to agree with them. Even I don't use my name on anything in games except my profile pages,"
[Indeed, he doesn't. I should know since I just scanned all of his save files] Kurama added.
IF smiled reassuringly "Don't worry, Nep. I'll name the weapon for you, how about the Holy Fang Blade?"
Neptune chuckled in amusement "Come on, even I know it's not a good name either. Right guys?"
"The holy fangs of justice…I like it," said Blanc much to Neptune's disbelief.
Noire nodded in approval "It does sound a whole lot better than putting your own name on it,"
"Nice choice of words, Iffy. It certainly gives off the vibe of an ultimate weapon," said Vert, making IF blush at the compliment.
Neptune was shocked by this "No way, MasterBlade Neptune is much cooler, isn't it!?"
"Sorry Nep-Nep, but the name Iffy came up with sounds a lot better," said Compa.
Naruto rubbed the back of his head "I'm with Compa on this one, sorry Nep-chan,"
"It's rather obvious that you have been outvoted," said Gatchmon.
"Nooooo!" Neptune collapsed to her knees in depression.
"So, by unanimous decision, the weapon will be called 'Holy Fang Blade'!" said Histoire cheerfully.
[With that sidetrack out of the way, we need to get moving] said Kurama.
With that said, the group immediately set out for the place where the Rainbow Bridge can be activated with Histoire serving as their guide. They were halfway towards their destination when Neptune noticed something odd and spoke up about it.
"Did anyone check for today's weather forecast?" asked Neptune.
Compa replied "Yeah, today's sunny all day. Why do you ask Nep-Nep?"
"Cause the dark clouds above us are moving around weirdly,"
At her words, everyone looked up to the sky and saw dark clouds gathering around and began to swirl as they eventually blocked out the sunlight and strong winds picked up around them, forcing some of the girls to hold down parts of their clothes to prevent them from being blown upwards.
"What's going on, could this be the work of Arfoire!?" asked Noire in confusion.
"I don't know but it might be so!" Histoire replied the best she could over the howling winds.
"Could she be trying to stop us from activating the Rainbow Bridge?" asked Vert, holding down her dress the best she could.
Drago called out to Naruto in urgency "Hatchling, I sense something coming through a dimensional rift and it's powerful! Exercise extreme caution!"
"That witch, to think she would go to such lengths as to pull something from another world to obstruct us," Zekrom growled in anger.
Naruto looked up and saw something descending through the eye of the tornado towards them and alerted the others "Guys heads up, we've got incoming and it's no joke!" everyone followed his gaze as they got a clearer view of what it was.
It revealed itself to be a birdlike humanoid creature with pale skin and white feathers covering a majority of her body, having three pairs of wings with two pairs on her back and one on her head while having talons for hands.
"This being is not of this world," said MAGES. feeling the pressure from the being's presence.
"I just learnt from the Elementals that Arfoire brought her here from another world to stop us," Naruto explained.
"But that's forbidden as doing so could lead to disastrous consequences!" Histoire exclaimed.
[She must have forgotten to read the fine print] Kurama commented.
The birdlike being looked down at the group and smiled evilly "Wretched insects of this alien world... Rejoice...and fall to your knees in supplication! I, the supreme deity Garuda, shall rule over the skies and fill them with storms!"
"Sorry bird lady, but we're kinda having a crisis right now and need to be on our way to a final boss battle. Think you can take a raincheck and wait?" said Neptune.
Garuda looked at them with disdain "Hmph, these insolent insects seem not to know their place. Behold as my gales drown out your arrogant protestations, tremble as my winds tear you limb from limb!" she released a loud shriek, pushing everyone back a bit from the sound waves.
"Here she comes, don't hold back!" Naruto called Model X to his hand "Megamerge!"
The Biometal proceeded with the transformation "Biolink established, M.E.G.A System online!" Naruto was engulfed in a dome of light before dissipating to reveal him as Megaman X with the X Buster at the ready.
Meanwhile the CPUs immediately changed to their HDD forms and brandished their weapons in preparation for the upcoming battle

"Surrender yourselves to me…I will feast upon your aether! NONE SHALL STAND AGAINST THE WIND!" Garuda declared.
"Let's see if I can't pluck those wings of yours!" Blanc flew at Garuda and swung her plasma axe to attack but ended up missing as Garuda proved herself to be rather swift as she darted sideways and countered with spin kick to knock her away.
"Let's see you dodge this, Critical Edge!" Neptune dashed forward and attacked with a downward strike but again Garuda evaded and flapped her wings once to send her flying with a blast of wind.
Garuda flapped her wings once more to launch a barrage of razor-sharp plumes towards the group. Naruto quickly positioned himself in front of the others and quickly made his move "Gaea Shield!" he held the X Buster in front of him to create a large stone shield which defended them against the incoming projectiles, however the shield couldn't hold back all of the attacks and shattered to pieces "Tch, I'm not done yet! Sniper Missile!" he fired several homing missiles which flew at Garuda who scoffed in response.
"Such worthless attempts to oppose me," Garuda launched yet another volley of plumes to destroy the incoming missiles. That was when she noticed that some of them were missing before hearing a voice approaching from behind.
"Prepare yourself, Rainy Ratnapura!" Vert swooped in and attacked with a series of rapid thrusts of her spear at Garuda's wings and tried to end the combo with a powerful diagonal slash but the being recovered in time to deflect it with a swipe of her talons and followed up with another to damage the CPU.
"My turn, Gefahrlichtern!" Blanc waved her hands before her to conjure multiple orbs of compressed ice then swinging her hammer to launch them, Garuda enclosed her wings around herself and spun rapidly to generate a wind barrier to deflect the incoming ice orbs then sharply swooped at her with a flying kick. Noire intercepted the attack by blocking it with the flat side albeit was pushed back quite a bit upon impact.
"Grrr, Volcano Dive!" Noire leapt high into the air with a somersault before descending to slam her sword to the ground which triggered a fiery explosion to erupt from underneath Garuda who suffered some damage.
"Insolent insects!" Garuda suddenly ascended and disappeared into the tornado but not before conjuring energized plumes which appeared around the ground and began to explode, damaging them constantly.
"Gotta get rid of those things, Shotgun Ice!" Naruto began firing multiple ice shards with his X Buster to destroy the plumes moving around them before they could explode "Now to draw you out, Full Charge: Gravity Well!" he took aim and fired a metal ball into the air above as it then opened up and generated a black hole. The gravitational pull of the black hole was powerful enough to forcefully drag Garuda out of the tornado towards it.
"Neptune, now's our chance for an EXE Drive attack!" said Vert urgently.
Neptune nodded in affirmation "I'm good to go! EXE Drive: Blade and Spear!"
Vert conjured several green magic circles for the Sylhet Spears around her while Neptune conjured about four 32-Bit Mega Blades in the air. The two launched their attacks simultaneously at Garuda who was struggling to escape from the gravitational pull of the black hole and received quite an amount of damage.
Garuda hovered in the air and scowled at the group "You dare harm your goddess!? Even your deaths shall not be enough to suffice for marring my skin!" she let out a loud shriek which caused the tornado to become even more violent. Then she went on to create two smaller copies of herself as they hovered close to her.
"For some reason, I feel irritated when I look at those copies," said Naruto with a thoughtful frown.
"Now's not the time for that, hatchling! Summon me to help you deal with this uninvited guest!" said Drago urgently.
"Alright then," Naruto called out loudly "Burn all evil to ashes, Drago!" a pillar of flames shot up from the ground before bursting apart to reveal Drago letting out a roar before landing on the ground and faced Garuda.
Garuda scoffed upon seeing Drago "So an insolent insect summons a mere lizard to oppose me? How laughable!"
Drago growled in response "Let's find out how a roasted chicken from another world tastes like!"
"I'll help Drago while you deal with those Mini-Mes of her!" Naruto leapt high into the air and perched atop Drago's back "Let's do this, Drago!"
Drago growled in affirmation "Dragon Fire!" flames leaked seeped through Drago's lips as he opened his mouth to launch a massive fireball at Garuda.
Garuda proved to be as quick as ever as she darted past the incoming fireball and flew towards him with wind swirling around her talons and began swiping at Drago who took evasive action before sharply flying backwards and launching a volley of razor plumes at the fire dragon.
"Dragon Shield!" Drago folded his wings in front of him and focused his energy to generate a spherical shield of flames around him for defense against the razor plumes "Dragon Rush!" he flew with great speed to attack Garuda with a combo of claw swipes, kicks and tail strikes with some missing but the rest able to land, breaking Garuda's wings and causing her to crash to the ground.
"Now's our chance, Full Charge: Circle Blaze!" Naruto took aim from atop Drago's back with his X Buster and fires a fireball which unleashed a chain of explosions upon impact "Get her while she's still down!"
"Take this you damn turkey, Getter Raving!" Blanc leapt into the air with her plasma axe raised above her head and eyes glowing red with rage before descending and attacked by slamming down on Garuda powerfully.
"Here I come, Torneraid Sword!" Noire transformed her sword into a double-edged sword with the edges emitting rainbow colored energy as she performed a mighty swing on her target before it reverted to normal afterwards.
"Rainy Ratnapura!" Vert had her turn as she attacked with a series of rapid thrusts of her spear before ending the combo with a powerful diagonal slash.
"Time for my 32-Bit Mega Blade!" Neptune raised a hand towards the sky as purple pixels materialized and clustered together to form into a large double-edged sword, she swung her hand down to have it launch at Garuda, striking the ground close to it and engulf in a pillar of purple light for additional damage.
However, Garuda finally recovered with her wings restored and rose to the skies while looking rather irritated "Your insolence shall not go unpunished! Aerial Blast!" she suddenly appeared at the center of the battlefield and conjures massive tornadoes all over.
"I need to cancel that out, True Dragon Fire!" Drago gathered the empowered flames to his mouth then unleashed a fiery blast which took on the form of a roaring serpentine dragon which rushed at Garuda.
However, the tornadoes surrounding her blocked the flaming attack and actually snuffed it out, much to the dragon's shock. This led to them getting struck by one of the tornadoes and receiving a lot of damage as they crashed onto the ground with Naruto tumbling off Drago's back and being knocked out of his Megamerge.
"Dammit…," Drago was forcefully recalled into the crystal to recover.
"Naruto!" Iffy and Compa rushed over to Naruto to check on him "Are you okay? Let Compa heal you!"
Naruto groaned a bit as he got up with Compa using her healing skill on him "I'll live, she's tougher than we thought. I can't believe that she could repel Drago's attack like that,"
"Drago is currently recovering, I suggest that you summon one of us to continue assisting you in battle," said Elrath.
"O Chosen King of Peace…," a female's voice suddenly echoed through his mind.
"Huh? Naruto looked around in confusion.
"Follow my voice and repel the fiend of the wicked winds!"
"Did you guys say something?"
"It wasn't us, Naruto," said Stiria "It would seem that an unknown entity is attempting to reach out to you,"
Getting an idea of what they mean, Naruto spoke up "I may not know whose voice I'm to follow, but if you're helping me out then I'm with you!"
Garuda cackled gleefully upon seeing how everyone struggled to oppose her "My powers are limitless!"
"Naruto, we're sensing something emerge through another dimensional rift!" Nix spoke up.
Naruto looked up to see something rapidly descending from the stormy sky then unfurled its wings to reveal another being who bears strong resemblances to Garuda albeit with several differences.
She is also a birdlike humanoid creature but with dark skin and brown feathers around her head and collar with longer red-tipped plumes at the back. She wears a silver headgear that covers the upper half of her face and gives her the appearance of a bird's peak and large pink round bird's eyes. Her lips are green and gold and the lower half of her body has a reptilian look with scales. Her hands have talons like those of a bird of prey and her feet have a pointed claw which combined with the dewclaw at the back gives the appearance of a high-heeled shoe.
She has numerous sets of ornamental wings which are not feathered and appear to be for decoration rather than for flight: the middle of her back has the wings of a bird whose filigree patterns imitate the shape of feathers. She also has wings like those of a butterfly's extending from her lower back right below the bird's wings, above what looks like an ornamental bird tail. Her ankles have small butterfly wing attachments at the back. Her bare chest has white markings in the shape of wings and she wears a loincloth and knee guards in the style and color of her headgear.
"Another one? Geez, this is just not our day!" Neptune complained.
"Hang on, this one is on our side!" Naruto spoke up.
At his words, the unknown being raised her hands towards the sky as she took control of the winds from Garuda with lightning flashing through the dark swirling clouds amongst the rumbling sounds of thunder.
"What, who is this being?" asked Garuda in confusion.
The unknown being smirked at Garuda before releasing a loud cry right before enveloping the entire battlefield in a powerful tornado with the latter as her main target. The winds finally died down for everyone to see Garuda beginning to crumble away in flakes of green crystalline energy and feathers.
"No mortal should possess such power!" said Garuda in denial as she continued to fade away "This…this is impossible!" then she disappeared completely.
Music End
"Well, that one's finally dealt which only leaves her…," Vert turned to the unknown being along with the others but it appears that she's focused on Naruto who stared back at her before hearing her voice in his mind again.
"I am a Messenger of the will of the gods. I was defeated by the gods and awakened by a traveler from another world,"
"This certainly confirms of her being a powerful entity from another world," said Elrath.
"Over my long slumber, my name has been forgotten. I shall therefore take on the name of the goddess of storms. Henceforth, I am Garuda. Together with the gods, I shall bring the winds of dawn to your era of twilight,"
Naruto nodded in understanding "Well, you helped us out when we had our backs against the wall which makes you an ally. I hope we can get along,"
The now named Garuda smiled at Naruto as she transformed into an orb of green swirling wind and went inside the crystal which changed to green in the shape of Garuda's Wing before reverting to normal.
Neptune reverted to normal "Looks like we've got another summon and this close to the end too,"
"Maybe so, this could also be viewed as a boon to aid us in the battle ahead of us," MAGES. pointed out to the others.
"It would seem that Arfoire's actions to obstruct our progress rather gave us benefits, talk about fortunate for us," said Vert.
"We can talk about that later; we've got no time to lose here!" said Noire urgently.
Histoire nodded in affirmation "Noire is right, we must make haste for the ruins. Follow me,"
Neptune saluted "Okie dokie!"
Resuming their hastened journey for the ruins, the group soon arrived at their destination where Histoire instructed Neptune and the other CPUs to insert their weapons into certain slots in order to open the pathway to Celestia. However, there were several mishaps due to the fact that the weapons had been changed from their original forms and didn't fit the slots properly, so they had to be…forceful about it.
Noire placed hers with the hilt fitted in with the blade sticking out rather dangerously that it could impale anyone if they're not careful. Vert was next; bending her spear in order to fit in the slot albeit the weapon creaking loudly like it was about to break. Blanc followed with her own, able to slot in her weapon along with breaking some parts of the wall. As for Neptune…oh boy, she actually craved up the edges of the wall so that her sword could fit. Histoire just couldn't find the words to say about all this while the others watched on with pity.
[You know, I can see you doing something like this] said Kurama, looking at Naruto pointedly.
Naruto huffed as he looked away with his arms crossed "I won't deny but I won't agree with it either,"
"*Sigh* I guess what's done is done," said Histoire sadly "Now…to open the path to Celestia,"
"We're about to go where no Digimon has ever gone before," Gatchmon proclaimed with excitement, Herissmon was rather nervous but also shared a bit of the former's excitement.
Histoire closed her eyes in prayer "Ancients…open the seal of the path to Celestia!" with her words, there was a bright flash then everyone saw what appears to be a shooting star rapidly rising towards the skies while leaving behind a rainbow in its wake.
"Wow, it looks so pretty!" said Compa in awe.
"You know if it weren't for the fact that we're dealing with a world-ending crisis, we could have gotten some go-karts to race on it," Neptune commented offhandedly.
Naruto spoke up "Okay everyone, time to depart for Celestia!"
"Right!" everyone responded in affirmation.
"So, this is Celestia…," said Naruto as he looked at the scenery.
The place comprises of floating islands high in the sky which are connected by rainbow bridges and the architecture was of neo-gothic design.
"So, this is where you guys fought…," said IF thoughtfully.
"Looks like a nice place to have a picnic," said Compa cheerfully.
"I would say home sweet home, but that won't be the case with my amnesia," said Neptune, rubbing the back of her head.
"Please beware, I'm detecting multiple monsters throughout the area," Gatchmon called out in alert.
"She must be really desperate to stop us," said Noire.
Blanc brandished her hammer "Then let's disappoint her,"
The group made their way through the floating islands all the while taking down monsters along the way. During that time, Naruto was still thinking of what to do when they finally confront Arfoire and defeat her, he had checked the completion progress and saw that it was at 98% which was after the battle against the first Garuda which made him feel nervous but had to steel himself to do what's necessary.
"So far so good, but no sign of Arfoire," said Noire.
"Everyone be careful, who knows what trap Arfoire has in store for us," Histoire spoke with caution.
"Hahahahahaha!"
IF rolled her eyes "Great, right off the bat and the last boss is already here,"
Arfoire appeared before everyone with a haughty look in her eyes "I am amazed that you got here, praises to you all,"
"We would have been here quicker if you weren't trying to obstruct us," Naruto retorted.
Noire added "And if you're praising us, then stop with the nonsense of making the Lands collide!"
Arfoire scoffed in response "Hmph, like I would listen to the likes of you,"
"Good to hear, I was only being polite. Now I can make you repay for everything you had done,"
"Ha! Like you can do anything. You couldn't even face Avenir on your own!"
"What? Was that supposed to make me angry? I know that I can be tactless and clumsy sometimes. But now, I'll still do my best for Lastation and those that believe in me!" Noire transformed into her HDD form "I am the Console Patron Unit of Lastation after all!"
Vert stepped forward "Now, may I give my thanks?"
Arfoire looked at her with scorn "Like I would receive thanks from a coward who went into hiding after losing her powers,"
"There's no denying that I was a coward back then, but it was because of that that I met Naru, Iffy and Ran-Ran," the present two of the aforementioned three smiled at her as she continued "They approached me as Vert, not Green Heart and treated me as my own person. They helped me build up the courage to come out of hiding to do what's needed of me," Vert transformed into her HDD form and brandished her spear "I have you to thank for my fate and shall repay with your defeat right here and now,"
Blanc was next to speak "I seriously doubt that a loner like her would understand the value of friends,"
"You think you can call me a loner? Need I remind you that you were ousted and scorned by Lowee?" said Arfoire with disdain.
"I won't deny that fact, but Financier kept her faith in me the whole time," Blanc transformed in her HDD form as well "If it's only one person, I'll fight with everything I have for that one person!"
"Well said Blanc!" said Neptune happily.
At this point, Arfoire was already irritated at how everyone isn't afraid of her "I'm not sure of who I was before, but now I've got Naruto, Compa, Iffy, Gatchmon, Herissmon, Noire, Vert, Blanc, MAGES., Marvy, CC2, Falcom, Tekken, Puchiko…,"
"Like I keep saying, it's 'Broccoli', not 'Puchiko', nyu," Broccoli interjected in annoyance.
Neptune continued nonetheless "…and Histy too! I'm here because I want to be with them! I wouldn't be able to try my best if it wasn't for them, you know?"
"Such lack of reason…the Quartet would be disgusted to hear what you said," said Arfoire in anger.
Neptune shrugged her shoulders "You think so? I think so too. But I don't care because I think it's important to believe in yourself," then she transformed into her HDD "Which is why we're going to defeat you and bring a happy ending to Gamindustri!"
"Couldn't have said it better myself, Nep-chan," Naruto spoke up with a smile.
"You…," Arfoire turned towards the blonde ninja aspirant "Ever since you showed up, nothing had ever gone to plan. You're a mere human who became a Megaman and summoner by sheer luck, yet you're able to get in my way at every turn. Just who are you!?"
Naruto grinned as he stepped forward with his eyes closed "You know, I often found myself asking that same question many times before coming here but now I know who I am…," his eyes snapped open to reveal the blazing flames of self-assurance "I am Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze; proud son of the Yellow Flash and Red-Hot Habanero, friend of the Nine Tailed Fox Kurama, a Megaman, summoner of the Elementals, Buddy of Digimon and most of all…I'm just a gamer!"
Arfoire gritted her teeth "You….!"
"And now this gamer is all set for this final boss battle, let's do this Model Z," Naruto held out a hand for Model Z to float into it "Megamerge!" Naruto called out to initiate the transformation.
"Biolink established, M.E.G.A System online!" Naruto was engulfed in a dome of light before fading away to reveal him in armor similar to the one he dons when megamerged with Model X except that the blue is replaced with red plus in place of a helmet, Naruto wears an angular black visor over his eyes and his hair had grown out into a long blonde spiky ponytail. Naruto reached to the belt on his waist to hold out a bladeless sword handle which suddenly projected a deltoid-shaped blade made out of green slightly transparent energy.
Naruto took a step forward with the blade held in both hands as he took a combat stance "Megaman Model Zero, ready for battle!"
"Muttering the same tune is getting rather annoying. It doesn't matter what you do, Gamindustri will be destroyed!" Arfoire declared.
Naruto glared behind his visor "We beg to differ,"

"Taking point, Slashing Light Ring!" Naruto swung his Z-Saber to launch a buzzsaw-like wheel made of light energy across the ground at highspeed towards Arfoire who generated an energy shield to block the attack and retaliated by launching a barrage of energy orbs back at him "Aether Rule!" the blade of the Z-Saber took on a purple tint as he slashed at the incoming projectiles, completely erasing them.
Neptune flew past Naruto with her sword at the ready "Cross Combo!" she rushed at Arfoire and slashed up to 5 hits with the sixth launching her into the air then leaping after her pursuit with the final slash to send her crashing to the ground.
Arfoire rose back to her feet and scowled "Why you little…! Die!" she conjured multiple swords made of purple energy which hovered above her head before launching them towards her targets. Everyone scattered while taking evasive actions to avoid getting hit by the energy swords.
Noire dashed along the ground while deflecting the energy swords with her sword till she was upon Arfoire for an attack "Tornado Chain!" she slashed at blurring speeds before somersaulting into the air to attack once more with a flying side kick, she landed a small distance away before snapping her fingers for a flurry of slashes to be inflicted all over Arfoire's body.
"My turn, Gefahrlichtern!" Blanc waved her hands before her to conjure multiple orbs of compressed ice then swinging her hammer to launch them, inflicting ice damage.
Refusing to give in, Arfoire stabbed the ground to summon thorny vines from the ground and lash out which were able to capture Noire, Vert and Blanc. Seeing the situation, Naruto immediately took out the Shield Boomerang and charged it up with energy before throwing to slice through the thorny vines and successfully freeing the three.
"You dare interfere?!" Arfoire launched an energy beam towards Naruto who managed to recall the Shield Boomerang in time to block the attack but was getting pushed back due to the powerful attack, struggling to maintain his footing.
"Leave Naruto alone, Sylhet Spear!" Vert twirled her spear to summon the green magic circle next to her for a large wooden spiraled spear to shoot out and strike its target for a knockback while also interrupting Arfoire's attack.
"Take this, Critical Edge!" she attacked with a diagonal slash then followed it up with an uppercut before moving at blurring speed to reappear behind Arfoire and landing a powerful slash to inflict a large amount of damage.
"Blanc-chan, time for an EXE Drive attack!" Naruto called out.
Blanc hovered close to the blonde "Hell yeah, I'm ready to rip this witch a new one!"
Both of them began radiating auras as Naruto declared "Alright then, executing EXE Drive: Glacial Breaker!"
Naruto dashed towards Arfoire while onehandedly wielding the Z-Saber in a reverse grip and proceeded to attack with a combo of punches and slashes before grabbing hold and flinging her towards Blanc who thrust a hand forward to launch a blast of ice magic which froze her solid. Naruto and Blanc channeled energy into their weapons and rapidly closed in on their target and attacked simultaneously to shatter the ice prison and engulf Arfoire in a pillar of spiraling white and red energy.

Everyone stood back and observed the battered form of Arfoire who was in disbelief at what had just happened to her; she was supposed to be unbeatable with the power of all four goddess and yet here she is on the brink of defeat…unacceptable!
"Augh…I…I am a god…Gamindustri…my…dominion…," Arfoire groaned in denial "How…could I…lose…these…humans…goddesses…,"
"Arfoire, your ambition ends here," Histoire called out to the witch "The power of a goddess is too much for a human to bear. Please pray for a cleansing of your soul from the tainted power, I can help you do so while you still wield the power of all four goddesses,"
Arfoire scoffed at Histoire's plea "Is that all you have to say to me? How foolish!"
"Histoire, nothing will reach her already. It's all too clear that she's dead set on what she's after," Noire pointed out to the fairy.
"I understand that you want to help her, but it's too late," Blanc added.
Vert spoke in support "All we can do for her is to release her from the pain…,"
Histoire sighed sadly in resignation "I guess…this is it…,"
Neptune stepped forward with a declaration "Arfoire…our fate ends here!"
Arfoire sneered in response "I beg to differ! Haaaaaaaaaaaaah!" she suddenly began absorbing dark energy from the atmosphere which seems to be increasing her power, shocking everyone witnessing this.
"How can this be? Her power levels are rising rapidly and it doesn't seem to be stopping!" said Gatchmon in a panic after scanning Arfoire.
Neptune turned to Histoire "Histy, what's going on right now!?"
"I don't know to be exact, but I do know the source of her power…they're Shares," said Histoire.
"Shares…? But who in this world would be putting faith in this idiot?" asked Noire confusedly.
"We're all wondering the same thing," said Naruto with a frown behind his visor.
Arfoire smirked at their confused expressions and answered them "Many humans do, though it's different compared to the ones you know,"
Blanc frowned "What do you mean by that?"
"Have you forgotten about Overlord Momus? Why do you think I preached it?"
"You mean to tell us that there's more to it than just creating the Overlord?" asked Vert with a frown.
"Of course, whereas you gain power from Shares which is the culmination of the people's faith and devotion…I gain power the same way albeit through awe and fear!" said Arfoire with an evil smile "The world's end, total dominion…fear acts as faith to become my power!"
"That's just ridiculous!" Noire couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"And yet the proof lays bare in front of us," said Vert with a frown.
"Nep-Nep, Naru. What are we gonna do?" asked Compa worriedly.
Naruto responded "We keep fighting, we've come too far now to start second-guessing ourselves when everyone is counting on us,"
"Is that so, then how about this? Fear come to me!" Arfoire absorbed even more of the dark energy into her body and becoming much stronger by the second to the point that she ended up transforming into a huge bipedal dragon with blood red notorious reptilian scales "SUCH BEAUTY, SUCH POWER. FEAR ME!"
Neptune exclaimed in shock "What is this form?!"
"This is so messed up," Naruto muttered.
"To think she would go to such lengths for power…," said Elrath as the others were stunned speechless.
"I FEEL ANEW…WATCH AS I SHOW YOU THE POWERS BEYOND THAT OF A MERE GOD!" Arfoire declared arrogantly.
Histoire was flabbergasted upon seeing this "Arfoire, you would discard your humanity for power?"
"YOU DON'T HAVE TO UNDERSTAND, JUST KNOW THAT THIS IS MY TRUE POWER!"
Naruto glared "Are your desires for power so strong that you'd willingly ignore the consequences? I had a small taste of Kurama's power and yet it was enough to teach me about the risks of using it without proper training,"
"GOOOOOOOOHHH?!" Arfoire roared in confusion, sensing something wrong happening to her.
"Hold on, isn't her power getting stronger still?" asked Blanc confusedly.
Gatchmon scanned Arfoire for a moment before responding "It would appear that she has lost control and can't stop absorbing that dark energy into herself,"
"It would seem that the only way to save her…would be to defeat her…," said Histoire with a sad tone.
Neptune spoke up "Arfoire may empower herself with fear of the people. But the greater the fear, the stronger the prayer and faith to us grows!"
At her words, the goddesses found themselves surrounded by pixels of energy in their respective colors and felt their powers grow stronger.
"You gotta be kidding, I've never felt this much power from my Shares before!" Blanc exclaimed.
"It feels so warm," said Vert in content.
"It just shows how much the people of the Lands are in support of their goddesses to save them from what triggers their fears. Guess it's the same thing with being a Kage of the village," said Naruto.
"As long as people pray and put faith in us, we will never lose!" said Neptune with determination in her eyes "Arfoire, everything ends now!"
"GUOOOOOOOOH!" Arfoire roared in outrage.

"Time for you to finally get some payback," Naruto grabbed the crystal hanging around his neck and called out "Strike down with thunderbolts of judgement, Zekrom!"
Dark clouds gathered overhead as lightning flashed through them with rumbling sounds of thunder before a thunderbolt struck with a bright flash and booming sound which blinded everyone for a moment before looking to see Zekrom standing there before unleashing a mighty roar as bolts of lightning struck the ground around him
Zekrom glared at Arfoire and growled "Finally, the time has come for you to pay for enslaving me,"
"RAAAAHH! KILL!" Arfoire roared in defiance.
"We shall see about that!" Zekrom's tail began to spin with a bluish glow and the crackling sounds of lightning arced throughout his body "Thunderous Roar!" he opened his mouth and fires a massive yellow beam of electricity at Arfoire, knocking her back several feet.
Angered by being attacked, Arfoire retaliated by unleashing a stream of purple flames from her mouth at everyone around her, Naruto and the others quickly moved themselves out of the way of the attack then the former darted forward to disrupt the fire breath.
"Flying Water Soar!" Naruto leapt into the air and performed an aerial dash forward while surrounding his body in a sheet of ice to plow right through the fire breath till he was upon Arfoire "Circling Water Slash!" he channeled water energy through the Z-Saber before performing a rolling slash, inflicting consecutive strikes before landing back on the ground and having to retreat when she tried to stomp on him.
"Torneraid Sword!" Noire transformed her sword into a double-edged sword with the edges emitting rainbow colored energy as she performed a mighty swing on Arfoire before it reverted to normal afterwards then she darted away.
Arfoire was angered even further "AAAAGH! KILL YOU ALL!" she flapped her wings to fly into the air and began launching fireballs, forcing the team into the defensive.
"Do not be so arrogant as to overlook my presence, Fists of Thunder!" Zekrom's fists become surrounded by yellow sparks which grew into balls of electrical energy before attacking with series of punches, pummeling Arfoire all over before ending the combo with an electrifying haymaker to the face.
Blanc came swooping in from above with her plasma axe reared back and eyes glowing red with rage "Where do you think you're going!? Getter Raving!" she slammed down on Arfoire's head powerfully, sending her crashing down to the ground and forming a deep crater upon impact.
"You're open for my 32-Bit Mega Blade!" Neptune raised a hand towards the sky as purple pixels materialized and clustered together to form into a large double-edged sword, she swung her hand down to have it launch at Arfoire, striking the ground close to her and engulf in a pillar of purple light for additional damage.
"I believe it's my turn, Kinestra Slash!" Vert crouched slightly before disappearing in a flash to reappear right behind the witch where there was a moment of stillness then numerous slashes began appearing all over her draconic body.
"RAAAAAAAHHHH!"
"Be silent, Fusion Bolt!" Zekrom's tail glows light blue with electricity then his body became surrounded in a sphere of violet electricity, which he then slammed into Arfoire to deal incredible damage upon her.
"Everyone, give it all you got and then some!" Naruto called out urgently.
"I got this; I'll show you the power of the goddess of Lastation with my EXE Drive: Infinite Slash!" Noire rose into the air, swooping from different directions all the while slashing at Arfoire with her sword while her speed kept increasing with each strike, then she transformed her sword into the Torneraid Sword and slashed several times before flying above Arfoire and throwing the sword at her which triggered an explosion of rainbow energy.
"This is for the people of Leanbox! Feel the wrath of my EXE Drive: Spiral Break!" Vert dashed forward at high-speed to lance through Arfoire then she turned around and unleashed a barrage of thrust attacks from multiple angles consecutively with only green flashes being seen. Vert was then seen a fair distance above the transformed witch "May your sins be cleansed!" she threw the spear at her, triggering an explosion of green energy.
"My turn to get some payback for what you did to Lowee! I'm gonna make you regret that with my EXE Drive: Hard Break!"Blanc ran up to Arfoire while sliding on her feet as she knocked her back with a swing of her plasma axe which she slammed to the ground to launch a ground shockwave to strike, she spun round several times to throw her axe like a projectile to ricochet off the target and land in the ground for her to quickly pick up and leap high into the air then descend while somersaulting to attack with a cleaving slash on her and unleashing a blue pillar of light around them.
"And saving the best for last, time for my special; Neptune Break!" Neptune dashed at highspeed whilst landing consecutive slashes from different directions before landing on the ground with a skid "This is it!" she flipped the blade into the air, catching it to perform an uppercut to launch Arfoire into the air and propelling her even further with a flipkick before shooting up to the sky and diving back in to stab the witch hard into the ground, triggering an explosion of purple light.
"Time to end this, Rending Light Rule!" Naruto raised a fist above his head before bringing down to punch the ground, summoning eleven beams of light appear from above to fall around him with most of them targeting Arfoire and striking her without mercy

"So, we won?" asked Compa timidly, not wanting to jump the gun just in case of surprises.
"Look, Arfoire is…disappearing," like Noire said, Arfoire's body was gradually breaking away in pixels just like the monsters they had fought along the way.
Zekrom scoffed at the sight of Arfoire's battered form "Hmph, serves you right," then he disappeared, returning to the crystal to rest after finally getting even with the witch for enslaving him.
"Does that mean Gamindustri is saved?" asked Vert.
"Considering that we're still standing right now, it certainly means that we won," Gatchmon pointed out.
"Yay, you won!" said Compa happily.
"And not a moment too soon," Naruto reverted to normal albeit feeling nervous as he knew what would be happening next.
"You're certainly correct, Naruto. But still…," Noire also reverted to normal but was smiling nonetheless along with the other goddesses "A win is a win,"
"STILL DEFEATED IN THIS FORM…? HOW DARE YOU…," Arfoire struggled to raise her head while in pain.
Histoire looked down at the with sadness "I'm sorry that I couldn't save you…Arfoire,"
However, the witch glared at them with hatred "I…WILL NOT GO ALONE! YOU ALL…WILL PERISH WITH ME! I WILL…TAKE ALL OF THIS WORLD…WITH ME!"
At her words, Arfoire began surging with dark energy yet and this time, the whole place began to shake violently which surprised the others.
"What the heck is going on?!" asked Naruto confusedly.
"This isn't good, Arfoire has completely lost control of her powers!" said Histoire worriedly.
"Please don't tell us she's about to blow, I'm not up for such stereotypes!" said Blanc who was panicking at the situation.
"…the power that will be unleashed will destroy Celestia…,"
"You gotta be kidding me!"
"Why am I not surprised that this witch would refuse to accept defeat so simply, she just had to have the last laugh no matter what," said Zekrom with a frown.
"Goes to show how much of a petty person one can be," Drago added.
Noire called out to everyone with urgency "Stop idling around, we need to get out of here quickly!" she tried to move but found herself too exhausted to do so when CyberConnect2 and MarvelousAQL came to help her.
"We'll help you out of here," said CyberConnect2 with the kunoichi nodding in agreement.
Noire smiled with gratitude "Thank you both,"
Falcom and MAGES. went to assist Vert next.
"I'll help you, Lady Vert," said Falcom.
"Allow me to assist you," said MAGES.
"Thank you for the help…" said Vert gratefully.
"Then I'll help, Lady Blanc," said Tekken.
"Broccoli will help too, nyu," Broccoli added as they went to help Blanc to her feet so they could escape.
Noire looked back to see Neptune and oddly enough Naruto just standing there and looking at Arfoire before calling out to them "What are you two doing just standing there? Hurry!"
"Come on you two, we're the last to go," said IF.
Compa nodded in affirmation "Nep-Nep, Naru, we need to get away from here!"
"Compa? Iffy? Naruto? Can you three go on ahead?" asked Neptune, shocking them.
"Now's not the time to fool around, this place is a ticking time bomb and we don't want to be here when it explodes!" IF complained irritably.
"I know…but I can't stand to see Arfoire and Histy in pain," Neptune explained.
"What do you mean by that?" asked Herissmon confusedly.
Histoire sighed "I appreciate the gesture, but it's too late for Arfoire,"
"I've been thinking about why Arfoire sought out the power of the former goddess, I bet she wanted to be strong enough to be able to raise us properly," Neptune pointed out to them.
"So, you mean that Arfoire was thinking like a parent?" asked Compa.
"Well, the Arfoire we know is the one of now so it could be that the Arfoire of back then was much different," said IF thoughtfully.
"If she was tainted because of us, then I need to help her somehow," said Neptune.
"I appreciate the gesture but there's nothing we can do for her now," said Histoire.
"That's because you haven't found it yet, it all comes down to how much you wish to help her," Naruto pointed out "I can see that Neptune is set on this which is why I'm staying behind to help her,"
Neptune refuted "No Naruto, you need to go with them,"
"No can do, Nep-chan. I'm helping you whether you like it or not. I need to help you see this through once and for all,"
"…alright then, we'll do this together,"
IF looked at the both of them and sighed "I can see that the two of you are dead set on this, I have no other choice but to put my faith in you that you return to us safe and sound,"
Compa nodded in affirmation "Me too, I'll make lots of pudding when you come back,"
"I'll be looking forward to it," said Neptune with a smile.
"Yeah…," Naruto also smiled but it wasn't all the way.
"It's too dangerous to do so!" Histoire protested.
[So was collecting the Key Fragments to free you from the seal, we had numerous close calls and yet we soldiered through them, this will be no different] said Kurama, having been witness to every single thing since he and Naruto first appeared in Gamindustri till now.
"…please come back to us," the fairy pleaded.
Neptune nodded in response "Of course, we are the protagonists of the game after all!"
"We'll remember what you said!" with reluctance, IF along with Compa and Histoire left with Naruto, Neptune, the Digimon, Biometals and Elementals remaining behind to face Arfoire.
"They're gone…," Neptune muttered.
"Yeah…," Naruto nodded in affirmation "Are you ready for this?"
"Let's save Arfoire from her pain," suddenly, Neptune's sword started to glowed brightly "What's happening and why am I sensing power from the shares?"
Meanwhile, IF and the others had caught up with the rest of the group and told them of what happened, and understandably they were shocked to hear that Naruto and Neptune chose to remain behind to handle Arfoire in spite of Celestia drawing close to destruction.
"What are those two thinking?!" said Noire who was clearly upset.
"It truly is like them to do something like this," said Vert, shaking her head.
"But they should have told us so we could help them!"
MAGES. spoke up "It's exactly why they chose not to tell us as we would have remained behind with them,"
Blanc sighed sadly "All we can do now is pray for their success and safe return to us," at that moment, the weapons of the CPUs began to glow brightly much to their surprise "What's happening, why are they glowing?"
Histoire closed her eyes with a sad smile "It seems that the will of the Quartet are also praying for Arfoire's closure…,"
Back with the duo, Neptune smiled in understanding "I see…I can sense Noire, everyone, even the heroes Quartet praying for Arfoire to be saved too,"
"Then let's not disappoint them and gave it all we've got!" Naruto declared with determination.
"We're with you all the way!" said Gatchmon.
Herissmon nodded in agreement "Yeah!"
"It goes without saying that you have our full support, hatchling," said Drago, representing the Elementals.
[Show me an epic final boss battle, kid] said Kurama with a foxy grin.
Gatchmon and Herissmon underwent Digivolution to change into their Ultimate Forms to help their partner.
"Gatchmon digivolve to…," he took on a taller humanoid form with gray hair, wearing a black bodysuit under a white armor with red glowing stripes going across his body while connecting to a blue globe-like orb encased in a golden ring with the same on the elbows and knees. He also has a waistcloth covering the waist and right arm while fastened with a black belt. His gold and red helmet has a V-shaped crest on the front with a red crystal horn protruding from the forehead, and lastly there's a golden halo which resembles a compass rose hovering on his back "…Gaiamon!"
"Herissmon digivolve to…," the little Digimon now took on the form of a humanoid wolf man wearing black pants held by a belt, and clawed boots. He also has red spikes all over his body, especially nine red drill-shaped spikes protruding from his lower back "…Rasenmon!"
"Let's do this, time to Double Megamerge!" Naruto declared then the Biometals flew into his hands to begin the transformation "Biolink established, M.E.G.A System online!" Naruto was engulfed in a dome of light before dissipating to reveal him as Megaman ZX with the ZX Saber at the ready.
However something, happened as Naruto felt his body starting to overflow with power which could be visibly seen as the energy blade of the ZX-Saber was enlarged several times its normal size, his hair flared up to resemble wings and also produced a golden halo behind him.

"Alright everyone, let's do this!" Naruto declared.
"Right!" everyone replied in affirmation.

"Release the power! Twin Dream!" Naruto creates a shadow copy of himself next to him which mimics his movements then rushed to attack Arfoire with a barrage of greatly enhanced slashes until the copy dissipated but he wasn't stopping there "Raijin Attack!" he performed a forward thrust with the Z-Saber as a blade of blue lightning "Ice Dragon Rise!" he transformed the energy blade of the ZX-Saber into a blade of ice as he attacks with a rising uppercut while spinning horizontally to propel himself into the air, he shifted the ZX-Saber to Buster Mode and began firing powerful energy blasts at Arfoire's face in midair with the recoil from the shots pushing him away from the witch "Lightning Web!" he fires a yellow orb of electricity which expanded into a large spider's web upon impact, restraining Arfoire and constantly shocking her.
Rasenmon dashed towards Arfoire with fists clenched tightly for an attack "Here I come, Gyro Smash!" he dished out powerful punches while spinning the blades on his arms to enhance the attack power before knocking her away with a haymaker punch "Have some more, Quellrise Blast!" Rasenmon thrust a hand forward while spinning the blades at extremely high speeds to create a powerful horizontal cyclone which blasted Arfoire away "Gaiamon, you're up!"
The aforementioned Digimon was currently hovering in the air "Leave it to me!" Gaiamon thrust a palm towards Arfoire as a blue portal appeared next to him then a giant blue spear emerged from it "Ultimate Adamas!" he grabbed the spear then threw it at Arfoire, unleashing a giant explosion upon impact that it nearly blew the others away just by its shockwaves.
Neptune swooped in and slashed multiple times with her katana before executing her newest move "Victory Slash!" she did a confident pose before dashing at the enemy at highspeed and slashing her twice which left a purple V-Shaped marking on the witch for a few moments then exploding.
"Coming back in, Spiral Shot!" Naruto charged up the ZX-Buster to the max before firing a large green spiraling energy blast to hit his target before immediately performing another technique while shifting to the ZX-Saber "Ultimate Saber!" he began moving at speeds like he was teleporting as he constantly slashes at Arfoire from different angles all around her before somersaulting backwards and swinging the ZX-Saber to launch a green slash wave to end the combo.
"Naruto, you only have a few seconds left. You need to end this!" said Model Z urgently.
"Hurry!" said Model X.
"Nep-chan, let's end this together!" Naruto called out.
Neptune nodded in affirmation "Roger that, let's finish this!"
"Alright then, time for the EXE Drive: Bladed Duet!"Naruto and Neptune were enshrouded in red and purple auras respectively which then flowed into their blades, they rushed up to Arfoire and positioned themselves on either side of the mad witch and proceeded to repeatedly slash at her before performing a high and low spinning kick to swap places and resume slashing, the duo jumped away from her and crouched slightly with their blades surging with energy before dashing towards their target and striking with a cross slash to form a red-and purple X on the mad witch then engulfed her in a pillar of magenta light.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!"
All Arfoire could do was roar out in agony as white glowing cracks appeared and began spreading throughout her body before releasing a blinding flash of light which engulfed everything in sight.
This is Hussbek online with the latest chapter, Arfoire has finally made her final move of desperation which is to collide all of the four Lands together which would wipe everything out from existence. Quickly reacting to this, Naruto and Co attempted to use the Gate at the Basilicom to reach Celestia but were blocked by Arfoire so they sought out an alternate route.
However, Arfoire suspected they would so and summoned a powerful deity from another world to obstruct them. Things were against them when Naruto received aid from another powerful being who became his new summon before finally arriving at Celestia. There they faced Arfoire and managed to emerge victorious no matter how many times she empowered herself to defeat them.
After being pushed too far, Arfoire tried a kamikaze attack in order to take everyone down with her. Naruto and Neptune remained behind to stop her while the others made their escape from Celestia. The duo was able to stop Arfoire once and for all, but were engulfed in a bright light. Just what has happened to them?
With this chapter, the rebirth 1 arc is at an end but not before I drop the epilogue to mark it. I based the Garuda boss from the Final Fantasy XV and added the other Garuda as a new summon. Also, the poll is in and apparently a majority of you want Naruto to retain everything which will happen but I'll go about it in a different after taking your views and perspectives into consideration. So be sure to look forward to it as you read and review like always.
