He had to sit down. Yes, they were divorced for over 12 years. Still he never even thought of a new relationship.

"Dad ?" Francis looked up right Alfred was still there while he felt that heartache of his Alice meeting someone new. His Alice he still said his Alice.

"Mon dieu, why did I let her go." Alfred sighed.

"Dad it wasn't your fault alone mom, she has a difficult personality but that's also because of her 3 big brothers."

"I know they're not easy either. What do you think Alfred?"

"Do you know where she went on this date?"

"Dad, why do you think I'm here? She's home alone now with him."

Francis felt a certain fear. His Alice alone in a home with an unknown man. "Non."

"Alfred stay here and watch over Matthew." He leaves to his car."

Francis drived to Alice's home and indeed saw another car he didn't know. He was now unsure of what to do now. Just then the front door opened. Francis turned off his car and hided a bit now he felt like a culprit. Or a jealous ex husband. The man he saw was a dark haired man Francis even found him handsome which just added to his jealousy. And to his horror he saw Alice and that man share a kiss. That man just kissed his ex wife.

The way he used to kiss her and made her his wife. He had flashbacks now. When he first met her. In his restaurant one of his waiters spilled a drink on her. The way she looked angry and ashamed at the same time made Francis' heart skip a beat. And just asked her right then and there for a date. He smiled to himself from there everything went fast. They married a year later and another year later they were blessed with twins. And then everything went downhill. Though he didn't want to blame it on the twins. It couldn't have been their fault they were so little. No it was their fault they moved too fast. And now Francis really lost her.

Francis saw the man drive away and now Alice was looking at him. She saw him. And was now fast walking in his direction. He sighed and just rolled down his window.

"What are you doing here ?" She was angry again.

"I think hoping for something maybe for 12 years even. but i saw it i saw my hopes crushed.

but once again I realised it too late." He looked at her with a hard expression, started his car and said "Adieu madame Kirkland." And drove off.

Alice stayed frozen there on the street. He had said her last name so hard and cold. What was this feeling now in her chest and why did she keep staring at the spot where she last saw him. She then slowly moved to go back to her house. Francis' last words still echoed through her head. Kirkland Alice Kirland Yes that was her name, same as her brothers, Alistor Kirkland,Dylan Kirkland,Conner Kirkland and she the youngest one. She closed her door behind her and slided to the ground feeling sad. "I'm sorry I'm sorry Francis I'm sorry Alfred and Matthew." Cries silently
