Prologue: Fire of the Jedi
Within the year 4 ABY, the Battle of Endor has ended for the Emperor was defeated, the Death Star 2 was destroyed, Vader is redeemed, and the Empire is on the run. The Rebel Alliance head to the forest moon of Endor to enjoy their victory against the Empire.
Luke has the shuttle on autopilot to head for the moon for his father is dying on the floor for Luke is right beside him. "Father," Luke said only knowing his father a few moments ago to see him go away before his very eyes.
"My son, I am so sorry for everything I've done," Vader said as he has become Anakin in his final moments.
"It's okay, you need to rest," Luke said as he looks out the window to see the Imperial fleet scattering and disappearing into hyperspace. "We won," he said feeling a sigh of relief escaping from his breath.
"You have Luke, I am proud of you," a familiar voice said as Obi-Wan appears to them as a Force Ghost sitting opposite of them.
"Ben," Luke said as the battered Anakin looks on for his eyes were not full of hate for his former master but filled with shame.
"Obi Wan," Anakin said.
"It's good to see you are with us old friend," Obi-Wan said as Anakin hangs his head in shame not able to look his former master in the eyes.
"I am sorry Obi Wan," Anakin said.
"No, I should be sorry. I didn't believe you could return to the Light but I and Yoda were wrong about you. Luke found the real you deep down just like his mother," Obi-Wan said as Anakin's eyes widened at this information.
"Really Padme?" Anakin questioned.
"Yes, even then when she was dying, she still had faith there was good within you just like your son," Obi-Wan said as these words ring into Anakin's heart to feel a huge weight of guilt lingering for so long to be lifted off his shoulders.
"Padme," Anakin said as he felt like shedding tears but was unable to do so due to his tear duets being burned out from his grave injuries.
"My mother," Luke said as he can't remember her mother with Leia only remembering her vaguely as a baby.
"Yes, you have gained a lot of her good traits like her ironclad morality, her deep compassion, and her boundless volume to forgive others," Ben said.
"I didn't know," he said.
"You have family other than Leia on Naboo. Their last name is Naberrie, your mother's side of the family," Ben said.
"Got it, thank you, Ben," Luke said.
"My son, it's my time to go," Anakin said feeling weak for the Force was calling him. He can see Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Qui Gon on the other side.
"Goodbye father," Luke said to give his father a tight hug.
"Goodbye, my son," Anakin said as he begins to fade away and become one with the Force leaving his dark shell behind to embrace the Light Side and fulfilled his destiny.
"Ben, I am the last Jedi?" Luke asked unsure of the future before him.
"No, you are not," Ben said as the Force Ghost of Yoda, Qui-Gon and now the redeemed Anakin appear before him. "The Jedi of old has passed but you are the first of a new Jedi Order. An order that will learn from our mistakes and failings to become something new and something better than we will ever be," Ben said.
The weight of the masters of old is put on Luke's shoulders for he draws his lightsaber to emit his green blade to raise it above his head. He feels weak from his fight on Death Star 2, but he persists onward. "I Luke Skywalker will honor your memory and the Jedi will be restored. I promise you that with my life," he said.
"We are counting on you Luke, the future is now yours," Ben said as the Jedi disappears. Luke only has the dark armor of Vader lying on the floor with him preparing it for a Jedi pyre funeral.
Elsewhere in the atmosphere of Endor, General Rahm Kota's fleet is there waiting out any remaining Imperials still lurking around. "So, you are not going down to the party?" a calm female voice said with Kota checking on his lightsaber within his room.
"No, that is not my thing. I rather go searching for more imperials to hunt down," Kota said as the young woman laughs at this.
"Always the lone soldier General," the girl said in a sarcastic tone.
"Oh Mara, you will understand when you get older. By the way, Skywalker is down below. Maybe you should say hi," he teased making the redhead blush from that.
"That is not your concern General," Mara pouted as the old Jedi General laughs at his young second in command.
"Sure; my dear, I want you to go down to the surface to fetch him for me," Kota said.
"Really, alright time to meet our hero," she said. "And my hero," she thought keeping this to herself with Kota watching his young commander.
"She needs to stop holding things in," Kota said as he looks over the battle plans with Mara on a shuttle to head down to the forest moon.
Hours have passed within the forest Luke is right by his father's funeral pyre to see the empty suit melting away into the sands of history. "A new chapter in this war has been turned and I need to think of the future of the Jedi," Luke thought as she felt a tap on his shoulder.
"Looking at the pretty flames Farm boy," a smooth female voice said as Luke turns around to a wonderful sight of a short golden red-haired woman before him. Her bright yet cool emerald, green eyes looked striking against her freckled face along with a black bodysuit fitting her short curvaceous figure.
"Well, I was giving my father a proper Jedi pyre funeral. In the end, he becomes a Jedi to save me," he said as Mara looks at Vader's suit.
"So, the reports were true," she said as only the higherups within the Rebel Alliance know about Vader's fate.
"Yes, and by the way. Who are you exactly?" Luke asked as he is quite curious to sense the Force within this pretty young woman.
"Oh yes, I am Mara Jade. Second in command of General Kota's forces," she said as the name of Luke sounds familiar.
"The old Jedi general?" Luke asked.
"Yes, he is my master and he wants to speak with you," Mara said as she takes a good look at his rough short dark blond hair, his deep yet caring blue eyes, and his lean build fitted to his black grubs. "Hmm, not bad Farm Boy," she whispered.
"You said something, Mara?" Luke asked as Mara shakes her head with show a soft blush a bit embarrassed.
"It's nothing. My shuttle is this way," Mara said as they go through the forest to see all the fireworks going off in the dark sky.
"You sure, there is a party going on here? "We can have a little dance to brighten up the spirits," Luke said with a bright smile which Mara finds charming.
"I rather not, not my thing," Mara said as they go to a clearing to see a lovely MC-18 freighter.
"You got a pretty ride here, very sleek Mon Cal designs like the cruisers," Luke said as he likes the well-made design of the ship.
"Thanks, paid good money to get this. Come on in," Mara said as they go inside the ship for Luke is amazed by the interior. Mara goes up to the cockpit with Luke getting into the copilot seat to begin heading up toward the sky.
"Time to go meet with the Jedi General, What is he like?" Luke asked as he heard a lot of stories about this battle-hardened Jedi who led his militia against the Empire and even the days of the Clone Wars.
"Pretty rough but his heart is in the right place. Went through a lot in these past 20 years or so," Mara said.
"How did you become his second in command if I may ask?" Luke asked curiously.
"Well, he saved me from a bad life with the empire. He saw potential in me and trained me as a Jedi. I work well within his Militia and did some hard assault deep behind enemy lines," Mara said.
"So, you are in touch with the Force as well?" Luke asked.
"Yes I am," Mara pulls out her lightsaber to show its bright purple energy blade. "I had this for a long time and it served me well to keep me alive," Mara said.
"I am just happy there are more of us out there after all the things the Emperor did to wipe us out," Luke said as his heart is lifted for he is part of a new Jedi Order to lead peace and justice once again in the galaxy.
"You have no idea, we are going to get the ground rolling Farm Boy," Mara said as they go out of orbit to see a large cruiser which is the flagship of Kota.
"Gee, this is pretty big," Luke said as he is impressed by its sheer size and power.
"It's an old Maelstrom-class battle cruiser. A powerful Relic of the Clone Wars," Luke said as Mara finds him geeking out over a ship is pretty cute to her.
"Yes, after the battle of Yavin. We found this in an abandoned sector in the Unknown Regions some battles from the Clone Wars took place there. It's 2300 m long of power and we got it back running again making it a flagship of the Militia fleet. It kept us alive throughout the height of the Civil War," Mara said.
"Insane, pretty lucky grab you got there," Luke said as Mara nods her head.
"Well time to meet with my boss," Mara said as they enter the hangar to see the Militia members greeting Mara Jade and the Hero of the Hour.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I got a hero here who likes to see the boss," Mara said as everyone greets Luke who has defeated Darth Vader.
"Good job my man," one of the men said.
"You are a good guy in my book, drinks on me," an older man said.
"You are so strong and handsome," one of the female soldiers said as Mara is a bit bothered by this.
"Give the hero some room," Mara said in a cold tone to make her troops calm down.
"Right, Kota would be in his captain's room," a high-rank officer said as the duo walk down the hallway to head for the captain's room.
"You are the man of the hour," Mara said.
"I am honored but I had reasons to face off with Vader and the Emperor. It's a family matter," Luke said as Mara is dumbfounded that Luke is the son of Darth Vader.
"Crazy huh, I can't believe it at first but you are the son of the legendary Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader. A sweet Farm boy like you, the universe is filled with surprises," Mara said.
"Indeed, but we need to look to the present and future. I want to keep with my training to become a Jedi Master," Luke said.
"Well, this is about your future. Come on in," Mara said to open the door to see the aged rough looking man in armor looking over maps of the Outer Rim.
"Seems like the plan now is to go on the offensive. Cutting to the Core Worlds while the whole Empire is falling apart around us," Rota said on the comlink.
"Yes, that makes the most sense to me," Ackbar said.
"Yes, we will make precise strikes along the hyperspace lanes to make a breakthrough to the core words. Getting Coruscant is the key to all of this," Rota said.
"Yes, whoever controls Coruscant controls the galaxy. This will cut the head of the Empire and get the New Republic project to be a legit government," Ackbar said.
"Can't wait to crash onto those Imperial's party," Rota said as he cuts off the comlink to spin his chair to see Luke and Mara before him.
"Well, I got him at your request," Mara said as the old man walks up to the young man to give him a warm hug.
"Good to see you, Luke, I heard a lot about you from Leia. The great hero of the Rebellion, the one who redeemed Death Vader and the new hope of the Jedi. We have been waiting for someone like you," Rota said patting him on the shoulder in a grandfatherly way.
"Really?" he asked.
"Yes, I need you to meet with someone. A good friend of mine from the past. His name is Djinn Altus who is quite the unusual Jedi who will be a great help in your quest to get the Jedi back on track," Kota said as he hands him a data chip which has the coordinates of the only Jedi Sect left the Altisian Jedi.
"He is getting old and needs someone who can aid in helping out the sect to turn it into something beautiful," Mara said.
"Indeed, young blood gets things rolling pretty quickly. You remind me of a young Jedi who was a lost soul but found his way to aid in the Rebellion. I am glad you are stepping up," Kota said as Luke wonders who this other Jedi is. "Go on and Mara go with Luke as well," Kota said.
"Sir?" Mara asked.
"I taught you everything I know but I am not able to get you to the heights of your powers," Kota said.
"I see, I understand," Mara said.
"Go along with Luke, I think your training with him will bring some interesting results," Kota said as he gives her a wink for Mara is glowing in the face.
"Oh boy," Mara said as Luke looks confused by this.
"You are dropping her from your ranks?' Luke asked.
"Yes, we fought a major battle. The war has shifted in our favor and there will be more fights but Mara being trained further will help. Also, you are trained by Obi-Wan and Yoda, two Jedi Council Masters. You can teach her a few things, I am just an old soldier trying to survive," Rota said.
"Alright, I will keep her company. Nice to have a friendly Jedi on my side," Luke said as Mara looks down at her feet to feel her heart racing.
"Gee, that old man," Mara thought as she is secretly happy Luke is tagging with her. "I am happy to work with you, Luke. I usually work alone," Mara said as they walk away to head back to the hangar. "Seems about time I move on from this," Mara said.
"You sure about this, this seems like your home here?" Luke asked.
"Well yeah, but he is right. He is just a soldier who happens to be a Jedi. Getting some training even by you would benefit me in the term to become a Jedi," Mara said.
"Yeah we would be Jedi Masters if we work hard enough," Luke said as Mara nods her head.
"No doubt with you as my training partner," Mara said.
"Training partners huh? It would be nice to train with good company," Luke said to pass up a light flirty comment which caught Mara off guard.
"Smooth farm boy," she thought as she felt her cheeks getting red which matches the color of her long fiery hair. "Is that a compliment?" she asked with Luke looking at this redhead beauty to be quite taken by her cute expression and small smile which is quite lovely.
"Take it as you like," Luke said in a gentle tone. They go back into the ship to be within a cockpit to plug the data chip to show the location of Altisian Jedi
"Well, we should get going to Rhea Var where Djinn's Jedi Paxaium ship is located currently. It's going to take a day or two to get there. Get comfortable Farm Boy," Mara said as they go off the Rhea Var.
Luke's stomach is growling, he has an embarrassed grin on his face. "Oh my, I am quite hungry from all the excitement," he said.
"My kitchen is stocked; I can cook something nice for us. Give me 20 minutes," Mara said.
"Go right ahead," he said as Mara flashes a cute, reserved smile for Luke is taking a liking to as she goes into the kitchen.
Mara sees a stove, cold box, cabinets, and a sink. "Time to wipe something up," she said taking an apron to put it on and pulling out the pot.
Within 20 minutes, Mara had a smile on her face to be holding bowls of meat stew. "Wow, those are big bowls and they smell good," he said.
"Well, I am a bit of a cook, eat up," Mara said as she places it by Luke and she sits beside him with her bowl.
He takes his spoon and begins eating it because his mouth is watering with delight. "Wow, this taste great. You are underplaying your cooking skills," he said as Mara has a glow on her face from his sweet comment.
"Oh, thank you, Luke, it's nice to cook for others," she said.
"So, what is your skillset?" he asked.
"Well, I am a Jedi Sentinel. I am quite good with Force powers, combat, and stealth. War Tactics and fighter pilot skills as well," she said.
"I see, can you fight as well?' he asked.
"Of course, my combat style is a hybrid form composed of Form 4 as a base to mix up with Form 6, Form 2, and Form 1," she said.
"Very interesting, you have your bases covered. Very acrobatics with good coverage, you seem well equipped for that," Luke said to see her short shapely frame which is well suited for her combat style.
"Oh, what do you mean by that?" she asked with a smirk across her freckled face.
"Well, you seem so limber and it would be great for that fighting style," Luke said.
"I see," she said as her blue eyes lit up and her voice was like that of an angel.
"Damn, she is cute," he thought adoring that cute face of hers. Luke sees she ate the bowl of meat stew already with him only eating 1/4 of his bowl. "Wow, that was fast," he said.
"Well, I will get some more stew," Mara said as she goes off to get food. Within ten minutes, Luke is done with his bowl but Mara has finished her 5th bowl. She lets out a cute little burp to pat her thin belly. "Oh wow, that was so good," she said for Luke looked on with terror.
"Damn, she is quite a monster with her stomach, but she is so shapely. Where does she put it," he thought as he looks at her large breasts forming against her top. "Well, of course," he said letting out a big sigh.
"Let me clean that up," she said taking the bowl and bringing them into the kitchen. "Well, this will be interesting being together like this," she thought having a faint blush on her face thinking about Luke's baby boy face.
Within a day, Luke is resting in his room to want to talk with Mara to be by her room. "Hey Mara, are you awake?" he asked to hear a thud within the room. Luke got worried and moved into the room. "Mara, are you okay?" he asked as he finds a pleasant sight. "Oh wow," he said.
"Oh Luke," Mara said as she is on the floor for she is half-naked. Both sporting blushes on their faces. Luke wants to turn away but can't stop looking at this beautiful redhead with her wearing a pink bra holding in her 32F cup breasts and her pink panties forming against her curvy butt. Her underwear looks well against her long red hair which covers part of her face.
"I am so sorry, I wanted to check on you since I thought you need help," Luke said turning away preserving her modesty.
"Oh, it's okay. I am glad you were worried about my safety. I manage to slip on my boot and I fell onto the floor. I am not very graceful sometimes especially when I am relaxing in my downtime," Mara said.
"I see," Luke said as Mara gets into her nightgown. She taps his shoulder letting him see her. He sees her wearing a white nightgown which sees her soft curves fit against the nightwear. "You look pretty nice," he said.
"You look nice, yourself Luke," she said looking at his PJ framing his shape quite well.
"Well, I am glad you are okay. Do you want to talk with me?" Luke asked.
"Of course, I enjoy talking with you," Mara said as they go into the main area next to the cockpit to sit at a booth sitting on either side of each other.
"So, who is Djinn Altis?" he asked.
"He is a Jedi Master who formed his group of Jedi many years ago," she said.
"He split off from the old Jedi Order?" he asked.
"Yes, it's a group he created that took the ideals of the Jedi Order with some adjustments like allowing families and being more open to other ideals as long as it's not connected to the Dark Side. He made this group several decades ago when he was kicked out of the Order due to his different beliefs. He set up his group within the Unknown Region which he built up over some members within the decades," Mara said.
"I see, that is sad. He should be able to make his own belief as long as he isn't hurting anyone," Luke said.
"The Jedi Council didn't see it that way. Thankfully splitting from the Jedi Order to escape over," Mara said.
"Yeah, well thanks for the talk. I am going to bed, good night," Luke said to go off into his room.
"Good night," Mara said to place a hand between her breasts to feel her heart beating just from the mere presence of Luke. "You are quite interesting," she thought as she goes into her room.
They are getting close to the planet with Mara and Luke practicing their lightsaber skills. Luke is taking a defensive stance with Mara using rapid strikes trying to get into Luke's defense but he managed to hold her off.
"Not bad Mara," Luke said as they go into a flurry of attacks with both holding their own but Luke is pushing ahead to get into Mara's guard.
"You are quite talented Luke. Very precise and swift too, no wonder you can hold your own again Vader," Mara said as she cuts and slashes while using her speed trying to catch Luke off guard.
Luke can see her bouncing around the training room with him keeping pace but Mara managed to get his arm leaving behind a sharp sting from her lightsaber in training mode making it unable to cut him.
"That was good," Luke said as Mara can see Luke's sword skills were above her own.
"I was lucky, you have the technique and skill down," Mara said.
"But you have more raw speed to connect more strikes more often putting me into a defensive position. You are well trained by Kota," Luke said to give her pride for she felt her cheeks getting warm.
"Gee, putting on the sweet words. Farm Boy," she whispered.
"Oh, you said something?" he asked as Mara shakes her head.
"Oh nothing, I was speaking with myself. By the way, we are almost here at Rhea Var," Mara turns off the autopilot to take control for them to see the big icy planet in front of them.
"This planet is a legendary place," Luke is impressed by this to only hear legends about this place from Obi-Wan and Yoda. He looks excited to be on a planet that has a strong link to the Jedi Order. "This looks amazing," he said as they go into the atmosphere to see ruins dotting the surface of the snowy wasteland.
"Well, you are going to see something even cooler," Mara points to a Jedi Praxeum ship Chu'unthor which is quite large looking like a flat dagger-shaped object. Its length is 2000 meters, its width is 1000 meters, and 50 meters tall.
"Wow, it's huge," Luke said.
"This is a ship aided in training Jedi for over 500 years. Now Master Djinn Altis has ownership over this place," Mara said as the comms are turned on.
"Hello Mara, seems like you got your boy toy with you today," a woman said on the radio as Mara's face is glowing red from this.
"Rachi, pipe down. He is here," Mara said as her crush for the blond-haired boy wonder making Rachi giggle at this.
"Sorry Luke, she is a bit guarded but she is sweet when you get to know her," Rachi said as Mara sighs at this.
"Who is this?" he asked.
"This is Rachi, she is my good friend. She is a bit of a nerd-loving about Jedi Lore and history. She is a Jedi historian," Mara said.
"Nothing nerdy about always expanding on your horizons," Luke said.
"Oh, I like your boyfriend Red," Rachi said starting to like him.
"Oh boy," Mara said hanging her head with her long redhead blocking her blushing face made from embarrassment.
"I bet she is blushing like her red. How cute," Rachi said.
"Can you get us into the ship please?" Mara asked on the comm.
"Alright, I am done playing with you. Come on in," Rachi said as they go into the hangar to see a bunch of X-Wings and Shuttles parked there.
"Welcome back Red and your handsome escort," Rachi said as Luke adjust his black tunic to see a beautiful purple-skinned Twi'lek sporting brown Jedi librarian robes framing her slender figure.
"Good to see you, I am Luke Skywalker," Luke bows his head to show respect.
"So respectable, you scored big Red," Rachi said to tease her again as Mara is trying to hide an embarrassed expression.
"Shut up," Mara said.
"But you are shorter than I imagined," Rachi said.
"I get that a lot but I got a lot to offer," Luke said.
"Indeed, well. Master Altus wants to see you both. I will guide you to his chambers," Rachi said as the three walked through the massive ship. Luke is amazed by this ancient ship filled with Jedi young and old, humans and non-humans alike.
"Insane, how many Jedi are there here?" Luke asked.
'We have about 100 hundred Jedi here. We have been gathering Jedi across the Galaxy after Order 66. We managed to stay safe by hiding in the Unknown Regions, changing our locations, and using secured hyperspace lanes only known by our staff or the Rebel Alliance higher-ups," Rachi said.
Luke is overwhelmed by all this. "Jedi spark is still strong even in a sea of darkness," Luke said.
"Yes, it is. You being here is important. You are a hero to the Galaxy but the Jedi have been wiped from the minds of the public. We need a fresh face to aid in helping put the Jedi back into the minds of the people, to let them know we are here to protect them," Rachi said.
"I will do my best with that, what is your story here?" Luke asked curiously.
"I was picked up on my home planet of Ryloth. My family was very poor and they sell me off to pay off debts. I was a servant to a powerful elite member of the planer. He was involved in some serious crime with Altus Jedi went to take him out. I was found and brought here to the ship to be raised as a Jedi," Rachi said.
"That sounds terrible, I am sorry about that," Luke said feeling sympathy for her as Rachi nods her head.
"Oh no, that is behind me now. The people here are my family now and we work together to make the galaxy a better place," Rachi said as Luke does like her bright nature.
"Good, he is here," Rachi to tap the button to let the door slide open. "See you later Red, we can enjoy some snacks and talk about your new position here," Rachi said as she walks away.
"She is quite bubbly," Luke said.
"A little too much but she is a good gal to hang out with," Mara said as the duo go inside to see an elderly human male wearing green robes. He is sporting white hair and pale white skin while standing 6 feet tall.
"Welcome my young friends. I am happy to know you would like to join our group," Djinn said.
"I am happy to be here. You got quite the interesting setup," Luke said.
"Of course, this ship has a lot of history behind it. I was lucky to find it and use it to train my students here," Djinn said as he gets off his chair to look at a map of all the known Jedi sites within the Galaxy.
"Mara said about you disagreeing with the Old Jedi Order, do you not like Master Yoda?" Luke asked.
"No, I have deep respect for Yoda but it was only about our different thoughts on the Jedi Code. I still served the Republic back then and even aided in the Old Jedi order. Despite our disagreements and being called a Heretic, we both want the same thing. Keeping peace within the galaxy and destroying the Sith along with other Dark side groups," Djinn said.
"I see. You did well for yourself," Luke said.
"Yes, some of my students went on to marry and have children of their own. Being fruitful is necessary to keep the Jedi growing," Djinn said.
"Marriage?" Luke asked.
"Yes, it's a major reason why Yoda and the other masters kicked me out. It seemed so silly to me because in the past the Jedi were allowed to marry and found families yet they still do their duties to protect the galaxy. In my humble opinion, as long as you keep your attachments in check. You can still be a good Jedi with emotional bonds like your father Anakin," Djinn said as this got Luke's interest peaked.
"You knew my father?" he asked.
"Well only for a little bit during the Clone Wars on a mission with my Jedi on a rescue mission on a planet sieged by the CIS Navy. I found out about his secret marriage with your mother Padme. I offered him refuge just in case the High Council expel him about his secret marriage but that didn't happen," Djinn said.
"Seriously?" Luke asked.
"Yes but he was too much under the Sith's thumb for this to happen," Djinn said to be saddened by this. "But you managed to bring him back to the light which proves my point about emotional bonds and them being necessary for Jedi into their growth as people," Djinn said as Vader's love for his son manage to pull him back to the Light Side and destroy the Emperor.
"Makes sure, the Old Jedi Order did have problems and things need to change to make it better than before," Luke said.
"You are right, young people like you are needed to keep the Jedi from lagging. You are the son of the Chosen One, you will wield a power I will never know. You will be a great aid in remaking the Jedi order into something quite beautiful," Djinn said.
"Thank you, sir. I will not let you down," Luke said.
"Excellent, I want to show you something. It's a bit of a project of mine which I want to pass on to you," Djinn hands him a piece of a Jedi Holocron. "This came from the Codex of Tython. A very old Holocron holding over 4000 years of knowledge of the Jedi. It was broken up into several pieces across the galaxy and I only found 6 out of the 20 pieces of its Icosahedron shape. I am getting old and I will be here much longer. This is a task I think will be enriching for you Luke," Djinn said.
"Very interesting, this will be a great benefit for us. All the pieces of knowledge from the purge can be restored," Luke said sounding excited about this new mission.
"Yes, it will be. We are here in Rhen Var to find one of the pieces. Use the Force to sense the energy of the pieces and seek it out. You and Mara will team up to find this piece and bring it back to the ship," Djinn said.
"Oh really?" Mara asked.
"Yes, you seem deeply interested in working with him," Djinn teases her as Mara pouts with a glow creeping onto her face.
"Master," she sighs.
"I am sorry, I can't help myself. Take one of the pieces, use the Force to sense the energy, and grab it. Beware though, dark creatures roam down there," Djinn said.
"Alright, we will get to it," Luke said sounding eager to get going with Mara going along for the mission.
"That project he was invested in for several years now. The Civil War put a stop to it but now it's the best time to get this back on track," Mara said.
"It's a noble goal to reclaim the old knowledge lost to time like some myth," Luke said.
"Yes it does but it will make the Jedi stronger," Mara said as they go into her MC-18 to go outside the hanger to seek out the location of the Codex piece. Luke holds onto the piece to hold it in his hands to focus his power to feel the energy of the piece and try to find the same energy within the deep snow of the planet.
"I can feel it, keep going Mara," Luke said.
"Okay Farm Boy. Be my compass," Mara said as she flies across the sky for her droid to come to bring them winter gear. "Thank R4," she said as her droid nods its head to move away. "It's going to get chilly, winter gear is ready to go," she said.
"Thanks," Luke said as he points to an old, abandoned building buried in snow. "There dead ahead," Luke said as Mara hovers her ship to slowly descend inside.
"Time to find that piece," Mara said as they landed inside the icy temple. They both got into winter gear to get outside the ship to see the cold insides of the temple.
"Not a ghost or whisper," Luke said as he uses his lightsaber to light up the dark area.
"Yep, no one has been here for eons," Mara said as lights of green and purple brighten up the vast chamber for them to track down the energy signal of the piece.
"Typhon, I heard about this place before," Luke said remembering about this planet in his studies.
"It's the birthplace of the Jedi since the very beginning but its hyperspace lane was lost to time. I beg my credits the Codex would have the location within its database," Mara said as they go into the depths of the temple for something is stalking them from the shadows.
"That would be wonderful. Setting up a Jedi Temple on the Jedi homeworld would be a dream come true," Luke said.
"Well baby steps Farm Boy," Mara said as they go through the tight hallways to hear nothing but the sounds of their steps.
"I can feel it, we are getting close," Luke said as Mara can feel uneasy with darkness creeping around them.
"Luke, I think we might have guests," Mara said as a shadow comes to lunge at them. Both use a Force Push to knock it off course to slam into a wall.
A roar is heard that echoed through the dead temple as multiple creatures leap onto the ground to surround them to see mutant humanoids bare their large sharp teeth and vicious-looking claws. "What are these things?" Luke asked.
"These are creatures called Howlers created through Sith Magic. They are nothing more than rage-filled beasts. Let's take them out," Mara said as the monsters rush at them as they get to cut them down.
More Howlers appear to surround them as all of them leap at the Jedi Knights at once. "Mara, get down," Luke said as he turns 360 degrees to unleash a telekinetic blast blowing away the horde of monsters slamming into walls, and causing tons of blood and gore to scatter across the floor.
"Get talk about a warm welcome," Mara said dryly as she clashes with the claws of the beast. The large bony claws are created to resist the blade of a lightsaber. She lifts a piece of debris to crush the evil beast turning it into a bloody pulp.
Luke Force Pulls in a Howler to slice off the head of the Sithspawn. One of the beasts cuts into Luke's back to tear into his coat but Luke rolls away and thrust his blade into the chest killing it.
"Luke, are you okay?" Mara asked to be worried as she is dodging incoming claw strikes. She severs the limbs of the beast and chops it to pieces. She blasts the creature apart as Luke kicks the Sithspawn into a pillar.
"I am good, thanks," Luke said as he craved the monster in half. Mara bends the light around her to become inviable to merge with the shadow. "Mara?" Luke questioned as he is cutting and sliced up lunging monsters.
Mara begins to focus on a broken pillar trying to push it into a group of Howlers gathering toward Luke. "Farm Boy, move," Mara said as the pillar broke to collapse on top of a group of monsters crushing them to death.
Luke managed to roll out of the way to use a Force Wave to unleash a telekinetic wave to slam all the remaining Sithspawns into a wall turning into piles of red gore from the impact. The chamber was silent yet again to see the threat was taken out.
"Nice trick," Luke said as he hadn't seen that power before with Mara reappearing.
"It's called Force Cloak to use the Force to bend the light and sound around me to become inviable. It's handy in my job to gather intel for the militia, I can teach it if you want," Mara said.
"It could come in handy. Come on, the treasure is close," Luke said.
"Man, this is like those adventure holo films," Mara said.
"Yeah, it does. I used to go on trips like this to find Jedi knowledge but having a good company like you lightens the mood," Luke said for Mara glows from his sweet words.
"Smooth Luke, you have taken a liking to me?" she asked with a smirk as her heart is beating from this.
"Yeah, we work well together," Luke said as they almost reached the end of the hallway.
"I think so too. You know I am a big fan of yours, I heard about your adventures. It's remarkable what you managed to do," Mara said.
'Thanks, you are great too Mara," Luke said as they go into a room which has a piece of the Codex. "Got it," Luke said.
"Good let's get out of here," Mara said as they go back to the ship to fly back to the home base. Luke is holding onto the piece to be amazed by this.
"Sir, we managed to collect the artifact piece," Luke said on the comm link.
"Excellent my boy, come back here. I need to introduce you two to the others. You two will fit in very well here," Djinn said as they got into the hangar to greet the elder Jedi Master to hand him the piece.
"A job well done," Mara said.
"Come with me," Djinn said as they go over to one of the training rooms to see a group of padawans and young knights who are training there. "Everyone I have good news. We have two young knights who will join the ranks. This is Luke and Mara," he said.
"Hello there," Luke said showing a friendly smile.
"Hey everyone," Mara said as the young Jedi know who Luke is to be excited to see he is joining their ranks.
"We have high hopes for you both. Enjoy your stay here," Djinn said as the journey Luke and Mara go on together to rebuild the Jedi Order begins now.
Elsewhere within Wild Space, the palace overlooking the main city on a planet as massive warships were above the planet safeguarding it.
A single figure is walking through the hallways to approach the main chambers of the leader to see the clone soldiers guarding the entrance.
"Lady Abyss, the Supreme Leader is awaiting you," the clone said as they open the door to a woman and a young girl sitting in front of her.
"Mistress Kendra, I am here. Where is my reward," she asked as the blond-haired woman gets off her chair to approach the 13-year-old human.
"Yes; my young Dark Jedi, you have been doing well within my Dark Legion. You will be rewarded," Kendra syncs her eyes with the girl to freeze her in place via powerful telepathy.
The girl braces herself as Kendra places her slender hands on her face to hold her there. The girl is freaking out to see two thin tentacles with one coming out of each cheek.
"Calm down my dear, let me take in your soup," Kendra's voice is low and smooth making the girl quite a daze like she is under a spell. The cheek tentacles go into her nose getting deep up her head until she reaches her brain.
"It hurts," the girl said as she feels her brain being touched by Kendra's twin tentacles making her feel creeped out.
"Don't worry my dear, it will end soon," Kendra whispered as the girl is in intense pain with her head giving pulsing pain. Her brain is starting to break down by Kendra's cheek tentacles via fluid liquefying the girl's brain.
Kendra can see the girl's eyes were once filled with dread and are now vacant of life. Abyss looks at her master to flinch at the ghastly sight of Mistress Kendra sucking up the brain matter and life energy into her cheek tentacles feeling a rush of excitement and power.
"Oh yes, her soup is so delicious," Kendra moaned as she empties the girl's skull with nothing of her brain and life essence left leaving behind a large slab of meat.
"Mistress, are you done with your 'soup'?" Abyss asked to see her master using her hand to brush her nose to wipe the gray matter off the tip of her round nose.
Abyss has taken a full view of her mistress who is a beautiful Anzat woman who is about over 600 years old but who resembles a human female in her later 20s. She sports long waist-length golden hair tied in a high ponytail, ghostly white skin, sharp yellow eyes, standing 6'2 tall, and slender pointy ears along with two long thin tentacles hanging from her cheeks.
She is wearing a revealing silky red gown displaying proudly her very large breasts along with the rest of her tall shapely frame. She has white bridal-style gloves, a black ribbon within her blond hair, and black high heels along with matching colored pantyhose.
"Yes, her brain was quite tasty and empowering," Kendra said as her body is supercharging with the girl's Force energy to revert her cheek tentacles into their slits making her like a normal human. "Report," Kendra towering over her much shorter apprentice as Abyss bows her head.
"Yes madam, seems like the Empire has been destroyed and falling apart," Abyss said.
"It will take time but I will find the answer I seek. It is one of the many pieces in this puzzle to conquering the galaxy and the Sith will become feared once again for my name is Darth Kendra and your name my student is Darth Abyss," Kendra said to like the sound of her own seductively smooth voice.
"Of course, I am Sith like you and we will claim revenge for the Jedi and their allies for destroying the Empire and making it into a joke," Abyss said as they continue with their plans.
