Wendy had always been content with herself for the first seventeen years of her life.
She was pretty, was at the top of the class, had wonderful family and friends, and never had to worry about anything drama-related or financial issues.
She loved being herself. Everyone wanted to be her.
But all she wanted to be that Monday morning was a tall, skinny boy with curly red hair.
Wendy thought having a conversation with Kyle would help resolve some of her hatred towards him and Stan. She hoped Kyle would be like everyone else defending their relationship: snarky, rude, and very defensive.
She wanted competition.
She wanted to fight for her boyfriend back.
Instead, her conversation with him left her even more heartbroken than before.
She could see now there was no way of ever getting Stan back. Kyle was the kindest person she's ever met.
Even though he should've hated her from the start, he showed her nothing but compassion and respect. She still couldn't believe he stood up to the entire grade. Hell, he even offered to help her through this.
Wendy was jealous. Not because of the fact he was good-looking, or that he had Stan wrapped around his finger; it was how gracious he was.
Now she understood why Stan left her when he did.
But it still didn't make up for the fact that she was hurting.
But she didn't have time to hurt today. It was Monday, the day of the hardest test of the year in chemistry.
The unit they were in was absolute torture, even for her. She was genuinely worried about her grade.
It seemed every other junior was worried too. Everyone walked in that day with notecards or their textbook open, going over material with friends and upperclassmen.
Wendy stayed in her car studying on her phone until Bebe walked up to her car and got in without asking. It was something she was used to, so she didn't mind.
"Good morning, gorgeous. Ready for that test?" She asked.
"Maybe.." Wendy sighed and put her phone down.
"Are you still bummed out? Wendy.." Bebe said and looked at her best friend sympathetically.
"Bebe I can't help it. Kyle is amazing! He's so kind and thoughtful, I can't compete with him." She ranted.
"Shush, Wendy. We have a test to worry about, not boys." Bebe said.
"You have a point..."
"Oh!" Bebe exclaimed, whipping out her phone. "I have something weird to show you!"
Bebe opened Instagram.
"Here, type in Sheila Broflovski." Bebe said and handed Wendy her phone.
"... Mrs. Broflovski? What about her?"
"Open up her page! Look at the first picture."
Wendy did what she was told, and scrolled down to the first picture.
It was of Mrs. Broflovski herself, and Wendy always admired her. She was a beautiful, confident woman and had always looked young. She hasn't changed a bit since she was a little girl.
"Yes, I see it's her, but what is... wait.." Wendy looked a little closer at the picture.
In the background, sitting at a table, sat none other than Kyle and a small dark-haired boy.
"Kyle?" She asked and the familiarity flooded into her mind. "Oh my gosh, I see it now!"
"That's what I'm saying! From the pictures of her and her husband, Kyle looks like a good mix between them. The thing is, both Mr. And Mrs. Broflovski have said absolutely nothing about having kids!" Bebe ranted.
"What does this mean? I mean, Kyle could just be a nephew or something." Wendy reasoned.
"Wendy, look at him. He looks like their child! I think he is their child along with that little kid." Bebe theorized.
"How on earth did you find this in one night, Bebe?"
"When I can sense a disturbance, I look into it. Here, you can also try and find his other two friends, the blonde chick Kenny was hanging onto and the boy Craig was all over Saturday night. They all seem very close, and the only one who has any form of public social media is the girl, Marjorine. It's a small business page, where she makes clothes. They are super cute, by the way." Bebe said and pulled up her page, showing Wendy the adorable coquette clothes handmade by the sweet girl.
"So what does all of this mean, Bebe? You've been all over the place with this conversation." Wendy asked.
"What I'm saying is, I believe they have been hiding from everyone. And I think their parents have been edging it on." Bebe said. "I've found that Marjorine looks exactly like Mrs. Stotch and Tweek looks similarly to Mr. Tweak who owns the coffee shop."
"Bebe that is a long shot."
"It's really not! Just think, three kids our age that no one has ever seen before just spawn in and start dating around? Wendy this is a small town, if they didn't want us to know about them, they would be hiding purposefully. It's the only way."
"It still doesn't make any sense." Wendy said.
"But you know who we can ask." Bebe said.
"No, I'm not talking to Stan."
"I wasn't thinking about Stan. I was thinking maybe Kenny or Craig. Kenny might be our best shot, since Craig can be an asshole."
Wendy sighed. "Fine, I'll help you solve the mystery of the three mysterious teenagers." She playfully said with a smile.
Just then, they saw Stan pull into his parking spot. Wendy couldn't help but look at him.
Ever since he started hanging out with Kyle, Stan has looked a lot better. His hair wasn't greasy, his clothes looked clean, and his face didn't have a down turned expression. For the first time in a while, he looked happy.
"Don't even think about it, Wendy." Bebe said.
They exited her car just as the bell rang for class.
"Let's go fail a chemistry test." The blonde said.
Free period was probably everyone's favorite time of the day. You could do whatever you wanted; their monitor didn't care. It was also the only class period that the students weren't mixed together by last name.
Every single junior had their eyes glued to their phones, waiting for their chemistry scores to update.
"So, how do you think you did?" Kenny asked Craig.
Craig let out a slow whistle. "Probably bombed it."
"I think I did fine. Science has always came easy for me." Kenny said.
"Yeah, you and Heidi always had the best scores in science." Stan said and put down his phone. His leg was bouncing nonstop.
"Nervous?" Clyde asked Stan.
"Yeah, you could say that." Stan said.
He tried his best. He remembered every damn thing he and Kyle studied. They were up till ten making sure he had everything ready. He actually answered every question on the test.
"Well the girls seem very calm about this." Clyde said, looking at his girlfriend.
"Yeah, cause they could just suck some dick and their grade would be changed in an instant." Craig said jokingly.
"T-Technically you and S-Stan could do that now t-too." Jimmy said.
Craig gave him a middle finger.
"To be honest, Stan, I'm still in shock. I never thought you would date anyone other than Wendy. Especially a boy." Tolkien said.
Stan shrugged. "Kyle is everything I've ever wanted in a relationship. He cares about me more than my own sister. You know what he did Sunday after we came home and I was drunk? He took care of me, we cuddled, and we watched a movie. He didn't berate me and break up with me, like someone I know." Stan hinted. "And he spent well over ten hours studying with me yesterday."
"Ten hours?!? Did he bet you a million bucks or something to see if you could pass this test?" Kenny exclaimed.
"Not exactly.." Stan said and whispered something into Kenny's ear. Kenny grinned.
"Stan, you lucky man. That is, if you pass this test." He said.
"What is it?" Craig asked.
"I'll tell y'all tomorrow. Right now it's just a me and Kenny thing." Stan said.
"Oh my gosh.. everyone look at your phones! Our tests are in!!" Tolkien announced to the room, making everyone panic.
Everyone instantly was on their phones, looking at their grades.
Several gasps and noises of defeat echoed in the room.
"Shit, I made a 68.." Craig said.
Tolkien sighed with relief. "A 75... thank you lord."
"Man, I made a 53." Clyde said with disappointment.
"85, that's what I'm talking about." Kenny said and smiled. "What'd you make, Jimmy?"
"A 75, s-same as T-Tolkien." He said.
"But you automatically get extra points because of your messed-up eyes, Jimmy." Craig said.
"D-Don't be jealous j-just because the c-cripple did better t-than you, M-Mr. Braces." Jimmy said back.
"You have braces too, you jerk!" Craig said back with a smile.
Kenny noticed Stan hadn't said a word.
"Stan, what'd you make?" He asked the boy staring open-mouthed at his phone.
Stan mumbled something inaudible.
Everyone leaned in. "Spill it, Marsh." Craig said.
"A.. A 97... I made a 97..." Stan whispered, his mouth still gaping open.
"A 97!" Kenny yelled at the top of his lungs, getting the attention of everyone in the room. "STAN YOU MADE A- MRPH!" Stan quickly covered Kenny's mouth with his hand. He blushed.
"Kenny, don't scream it to the world! Damn!" Stan said and smiled happily.
"Oh wow, Stan! Kyle must've helped you a lot then!" Tolkien said. "We all might need a study session from him."
"Or maybe it was just dumb luck and Stan spent the entire weekend with his dick down Kyle's throat." Cartman spoke up after being very quiet the entire class period.
"Shut your trap, fatass." Kenny said, ripping Stan's hand off his mouth.
"I have to call him, I'll be back!" Stan said and ran out into the hallway.
"An 85? Wendy that's not that bad." Bebe said. "I made a freaking 63."
"It brought my grade down from a 98 to a 91! My parents are gonna be pissed!" Wendy exclaimed as they walked back to their free period from the bathroom.
"Wendy, it's not the end of the word. You still have another test." Bebe reasoned.
Wendy sighed in frustration.
They were almost to their classroom when they heard a familiar voice talking to someone.
The peeked their heads around the corner of the intersecting hallways and saw Stan on the phone. They could easily guess who he was talking to.
"Hey babe! I have some great news!" Stan said excitedly.
The two girls listened carefully.
"Your boyfriend just made a 97 on his test!"
Wendy almost let out a gasp, and a very audible, excited laugh was heard from the phone.
"Stan! I'm so proud of you! I told you you could do it!" Kyle exclaimed loudly over the phone.
"Kyle, I couldn't have done it without you. I love you, babe." Stan swooned.
Wendy saw Bebe make a fake disgusted face quickly out of the corner of her eye.
"I'll see you when I get home. Bye, love you too." Stan said and hung up, smiling like an idiot and walking back inside the classroom.
"Bebe... he scored higher than me.." Wendy said softly. "He scored higher than me!"
"Now this is really suspicious. Three mysterious teenagers appear out of nowhere, and now the class failure is scoring higher than our future Valedictorian." Bebe said. "Something is wrong."
"I believe you. We gotta talk to Kenny." Wendy said.
The two girls raced outside after the final bell, hoping to catch Kenny at his truck. They thankfully saw him and approached him quickly after making sure Stan was gone.
"Hi, Kenny!" Wendy said and he turned around quickly.
"Oh, hey." He said, texting away at his phone.
"So, Kenny, we have a couple of questions that we think you could answer for us." Bebe said.
Kenny sighed. "Are they related to Stan or Kyle?"
Wendy blushed. "Yes, but-"
"You know, it's always about Stan. Stan this, Stan that, and now it's Kyle this, Kyle that. What about Kenny? No one ever asks, 'Oh Kenny, how did your date go last night with the girl of your dreams?' No one ever seems to care about that." Kenny ranted, shocking the two girls.
"You went on a date? Like a real, actual date? With a girl?" Bebe gasped.
"Not just any girl." Kenny said and smiled dreamily. "Marjorine Stotch, my one true love."
"So she is related to the Stotches." Wendy said.
"She's their one and only gorgeous daughter who I had the pleasure of taking her on her, and my, first date. And it went wonderfully, if I do say so myself." Kenny said.
"I thought they didn't have children." Wendy said.
"Nope. And to answer your question, I won't tell you anything unless you pay." Kenny said and leaned against his truck.
Wendy and Bebe exchanged a glance. They both groaned and grabbed their wallets. "How much, Kenny?" Wendy asked.
"Twenty bucks." Kenny said.
They forked over the money and Kenny smiled.
"So, what do you want to know?"
"We want to know where Kyle, Marjorine, and Tweek came from." Wendy demanded.
"Easy. They've lived here their whole life. They homeschooled which is why we never met them. They're pretty secluded people. Their parents are too." Kenny explained.
"So their parents hid them?" Bebe asked.
"Hell no. According to Marjorine they asked their parents to stay hidden from us. They're very timid people, especially Tweek. Their parents didn't mind." Kenny said.
"That still is very suspicious, don't you think?" Bebe asked.
"Listen, I don't care how they raise their kids. I'm just here because I got a pretty girl out of this and that's that." Kenny said, throwing his hands up.
"That's... so unlike you, Kenny." Wendy said.
"Waddya' mean?" He asked, his eyes narrowing.
"Kenny, you spent your entire life fucking around with everyone you meet and suddenly you change for a random girl no one's ever seen before? We heard you at the party. You've even given up being a slut for her! What is wrong with you?" Bebe asked.
"What happened is, I've fallen in love with her. I'll do anything to keep her mine, even if I have to give up my old ways. To be honest, I've needed to change for a long time. I just needed a little push from the right girl." Kenny explained and smiled. "Marjorine is perfect, and she's so close to being mine. I even met her parents already."
"You met her parents? That's a shocker.." Wendy said.
"Any more questions before I take off?" Kenny said and opened his truck door.
"How did Stan make higher than me on the chemistry test?" Wendy asked.
Kenny chuckled. "He's got the best tutor in the world sleeping in his bed. The thing about Kyle is that he's super smart." He eyed Wendy. "I bet he's even smarter than you, Wendy."
Another wave of jealousy washed over Wendy as Kenny got in his truck and closed the door.
Kenny wanted to go back over to the Stotch residence, but Marjorine hadn't texted him back.
He decided it would be rude to show up uninvited, so he just went to his home instead.
Kenny saw that his parents' vehicle was here along with his brother's. Everyone was home.
Kenny entered his small, run-down home and was greeted by his parents watching TV on the living room.
"You don't have work today?" Stuart asked Kenny as he walked to his room.
"No sir." Kenny said and tried to walk out.
He still hadn't told his family about quitting his job, and to be honest, he was scared to.
"That's odd. You're working less and less but you're coming home with more money." His dad continued.
"I got promoted, remember?" Kenny said and finally left the room.
He opened the door to his tiny bedroom and threw his backpack in. He then went to Kevin and Karen's shared bedroom.
Kevin got off work just as Karen got out of school, so he usually picked her up.
Kevin was laying on his mattress, looking at his phone while Karen played on the floor with her dolls.
When she saw Kenny in the doorway, she smiled.
"Kenny! You don't work today?" She asked as her blonde brother laid down beside her on the floor.
"Nope. I wanted to see my family today. And I've got great news, Kare-bear." Kenny said with a smile.
"What is it? Tell me!" Karen exclaimed.
"Yesterday night, I went on a date." Kenny said and Karen's face lit up.
"With a girl! Is she pretty?" She asked.
"Kenny McCormick went a date with a girl? I find that hard to believe." Kevin joked, half listening to the conversation.
"She sure is. Here." Kenny said and got out his phone. He pulled up one of Marjorine's Snapchat photos that he saved.
Karen gasped. "Oh my gosh she's beautiful!"
Kevin leaned over to look.
"Damn, Kenny, how'd you go on date with somethin' like that?" He asked, now intrigued.
"To be honest I have no idea. She's real sweet and has a wonderful bubbly personality." Kenny said.
"What's her name?" Karen asked, her eyes gleaming.
"Marjorine Stotch."
"Is she a relative of the Stotches who own the company Dad used to work at?" Kevin asked.
"She's their daughter." Kenny explained.
"Their daughter? You're dating their daughter! Ken, what's Dad gonna say?" Kevin asked. "Do her parents even know about this?"
"First of all, I don't care what Dad thinks. I'm gonna date whoever I please. And second of all, I met her parents Saturday night. They actually really liked me." Kenny explained.
"Is she gonna be your girlfriend?" Karen asked.
Kenny smiled. "We're not officially together yet, but I can see it happening. We've only gone on one date."
"When's your next one? Can I go too please?" Karen asked.
"Kare-bear, dates are usually a two person thing. But, I'll ask. I'm sure she won't mind." Kenny said and texted Marjorine.
Kenny: Hey Marj!
Marjorine: Hiiii!
Kenny: When's our next date gonna be? ;)
Marjorine: asap ;)
Kenny: It's is alright if my little sister tags along? She really wants to meet you.
Marjorine: You have a sister? Of course she can come! I want to meet her too!
Karen smiled as the text bubble appeared on the screen. She had been watching their entire conversation.
"Seems like a yes." Kenny said.
Karen squealed in delight.
