Chapter XV
All My Children
At the Gilbert Residence, Elena woke up and called Stefan. Stefan was in the Salvatore Boarding House writing in his diary when his phone buzzed. He looked at his phone and saw it's from Elena, and canceled the call. Elena left a message.
"Stefan, hey, it's me. I really have to talk to you. Please call me back." Elena said into the voicemail and called Damon.

Damon was still on his bed and rolled over to answer his phone.
"What?" Damon said into the phone.
"Hey, I… I called you ten times last night and Eva too. We need to talk." Elena said to him a little worried.
"Sorry, I've been busy." Damon said to her.
"If you're mad at me, Damon, you need to get over it." Elena stated to Damon.
"Oh, I'm over it." Damon said and hang up and layed back in bed, staring at Eva who was sleeping next to him.

At the Salvatore Boarding House, Rebekah, Eva and Damon were walking towards the entrance of the house. Eva had shorts and a top and Damon was topless.
"So, let's not make a big deal out of this." Rebekah said to them because they had let her sleep in their house.
"My thoughts exactly." Damon said with a smirk looking at her.
"Don't make stupid comments, Damon." Eva said while rubbing her wrist.
"Besides, I expect you'll come calling soon enough." Rebekah said to Eva with a wink.
"Let's not hold our breath." Damon said after seeing the wink that Rebekah gave to his girlfriend and opened the door.

When Damon opened the door, Elena was standing outside the house and after seeing that Eva and Rebekah were there, Elena was in complete shock. Rebekah smiled and walked outside with a smirk on her lips. A few moments later, Damon, Eva and Elena were inside while Damon was buttoning up a shirt.
"Did you stop taking your vervain?" Elena asked to her sister and Damon.
"You think Rebekah had to compel me? And compelled your sister?" Damon asked her surprised at what Elena was asking.
"Lena! Damon didn't sleep with her." Eva defended her boyfriend.
"What's wrong with you?" Elena asked Damon. "She tried to kill me and Eva less than forty eight hours ago." She continued to shout at Damon.
"Can we just move pass that, Elena?" Damon said with sarcasm on his voice because the blonde Original only spend the night in a room while he was spending a perfect night with Eva.
"So is that how it's going to be now? I hurt your feelings and this is how you lash out at me?" Elena asked him while Damon poured himself a drink and then she saw that her sister was looking at sometime on her right wrist.
"Well, maybe, for once, something I did had nothing to do with you." Damon said and held up his glass then drank it while Eva went upstairs to get dressed.
"You should know that Esther is planning on killing her entire family. She's linked them all together with a spell. Whatever happens to one, happens to all of them." Elena said to Damon seeing that her sister returned fully dressed.
"Well, that's great! Klaus will finally be dead. We win. Why do you look like someone just shot a panda bear?" Damon asked Elena happy that they would get rid of Klaus and the rest of the Originals.
"Uh, because to kill Klaus she has to kill all of them, including Elijah. And he doesn't deserve this!" Elena shouted to Damon.
"I'm supposed to care about Elijah?" Damon asked her with sarcasm.
"Shouldn't you at least care about Rebekah." Elena asked him because the blonde spend the night in his house.
"Rebekah spend the night here because I invited her." Eva said to her sister.
"Exactly. Eva invited her to spend the night here and two seconds ago, you were pissed that she attacked you. It's a win-win." Damon said to her and Elena turned to leave but the raven haired vampire blocked her way.
"Don't do anything to screw this up, Elena." Damon stated to her.
"Why are you doing this?" Elena asked him when Stefan walked in.

"He's right, you know. Klaus has to die. They all do." Stefan stated to her.
"See? It's democracy in action." Damon stated to her and Elena left while knocking into Damon on her way out and spilling his drink with Eva right behind her.
"I'm going with Elena, alright?" Eva said to Damon which gave her a nod.

Inside Elena's car, she was driving to her house with her sister. They were talking about Esther's plan to kill her children. Eva continued to touch her wrist and Elena stopped the car and looked at her sister.
"Why are you rubbing your wrist?" Elena asked her sister worried.
"Because of this." Eva said showing her sister the reason why she was rubbing her wrist since this morning. There was two letters KM written on the inside of her wrist.
"KM?" Elena asked with a surprised voice.
"KM as in Kol Mikaelson. This is the only thing that comes up and includes the part where they say we are soulmates." Eva explained to Elena.
"But why didn't appeared none on my wrist?" Elena wondered too because she was around the others Mikaelsons.
"Maybe he and you aren't ready yet. I don't know." Eva suggested to her sister.
"Maybe. But we need to go and find a way to help the Mikaelsons. It is not their fault in what Klaus did to us and they deserve to die." Elena said and started to drive again.

At the Mikaelson Mansion, Elijah was walking around the study and found the burnt sage that his mother used last night.

Meanwhile downstairs, Rebekah entered the living room, where Kol and Klaus were. Klaus wa son a couch sketching.
"Well, well, well, there's our girl!" Kol said with some sarcasm while stood up before her and blocked her way.
"Get out of my way, Kol." Rebekah said to her brother.
"Out all night. What a scandal! I trust you did better than that commoner? Matt, was it?" Kol said with a smirk because this was plan to stop their mother.
"If you don't shut your mouth, the next thing to come out of it will be your teeth." The blonde original said and rememberes something. "Or I will never tell you some of Eva's favourite things to do with sex." The blonde said with a smirk which made Klaus starting to grin with his brother's face. "Don't start, Nik!"
"I didn't say anything." Klaus said still grinning looking at Kol.
"Are you serious?" Kol said after his brain started to function.
"Yes. The things I heard. But of course, you need to get rid of the Salvatore." Rebekah said to her brother.
"I need help. Her sister told me things about her. I need to make her love me." Kol said and started to rubbing his wrist.
"What's wrong?" Klaus asked to his brother.
"This." Kol said showing to his siblings his wrist. There were two letters, EG which they already knew that were Eva's initials.
"She was rubbing her wrist today." Rebekah told him and he felt his undead heart start beating. Another part of their bond started. He just hoped that he could make her fall for him.
"Why Elena and me don't have that?" Klaus wondered out loud.
"Maybe because it is because you and her are not friends but enemies." Kol suggested and Rebekah agreed with them.
"I'm bored now." Kol said and then continued to provoke his sister. "Our sister is a strumpet, but at least she's having fun. I need entertainment." He finally said to them.
"What are you waiting for? Go on, have at it." Klaus said to his brother.
"It's not fun to go alone. Join me, Nik! It's the least you can do after sticking a dagger in my heart." Kol said to Klaus still pissed about the dagger.
"Okay. Why not? I didn't have nearly enough to drink last night, what with you trying to murder Rebekah's date." Klaus said with a smirk already knowing it was plan.
"Yes, please go, this house has enough men rolling around it in." Rebekah said as she was watching her brothers leave the house. "Maybe you get to see Eva singing on the local bar." Rebekah said with a smirk.
"Just like you, Bekah." Kol said to her and Rebekah threw her shoe at Kol. "What?" He asked surprised.
"Good riddance, both of you!" She shouted at them.

"Rebekah." Elijah said entering the room, still holding the burnt sage.
"Not you too, Elijah." Rebekah said with a groan.
"I'm worried about mother. Have you not noticed her strange behavior?" Elijah said to his sister because they were afraid that Esther knew that already knew about her plan.
"She's been dead for a thousand years. What's strange for her?" Rebekah asked to her brother already knowing her plan.
"Burnt sage." Elijah said while showed to Rebekah the sage and she took it from him to inspect. "She was doing a privacy spell."
"You know she fancies such things." Rebekah said playing along. "Why don't you ask Finn? He's been doting on her."
"I don't trust, Finn. He hates what we are, he always has." Elijah said to her sister which she knew that her elder brother hating being a vampire.
"That's not true. And as for mother, she returned for one reason, to make our family whole. She loves us. What trouble are you looking to find?" Rebekah asked him.

At the Gilbert Residence, Bonnie was sitting on Elena's bed with her grimoire and a tray before her containing three lit candles and a bowl in which she is burning sage, while Elena and Eva talked to her.
"He was gloating. Like actual gloat. Like he was proud of himself for sleeping with my sister. Is it working?" Elena said and Eva was shaking her head while she rubbed her wrist where Kol's name was.
"It's not working. I can hear every word you are saying about Damon Salvatore, the vampire gigolo." Caroline said while entering the room.
"I don't know, it's a tricky spell." Bonnie said to the girls.
"When Esther did it, she kept the sage burning. There was a lot more smoke." Elena said to Bonnie.
"Alright." Bonnie and relighted the sage. "Try it again." Caroline scoffed and left the room again. "Speaking of Esther, you should know that she came to see me and Abby this morning." Bonnie said to the girls.
"And all this time you let me vent about Damon?" Elena asked her friend.
"Lena, leave Damon alone. He is insecure because this soulmate thing." Eva said to her sister because she was nervous about the mark on her wrist.
"I don't want you to worry." Bonnie said to both girls.
"Okay, well, what did she want?" Eva asked her friend.
"She wanted to introduce herself. Abby and I helped bring her back. She's channeling our entire ancestral bloodline for power. I think she thought she was being polite." The tanned girl said to her friends.
"Okay, well, is there a way to stop her from channeling you?" Elena asked Bonnie.
"Even if there was, why would I want that?" Bonnie asked to them.
"I just keep thinking... Before the sun and the moon ritual, Elijah found a way to keep me and Eva alive. And now I'm in exactly the same position and I'm just gonna let him die? It just doesn't feel right." Elena asked to Bonnie.
"And the others? Is not their faults." Eva said to the tanned witch when their blonde friend reentered the room.
"Okay. First of all, this privacy spell is totally not working. Second. Girls, you are not doing this, Esther is doing this." Caroline stated to them.
"There's no time to change your minds, girls. They will all be dead by the end of the night." The tanned girl said to the girls.
"What?" Eva asked surprised.
"It's a full moon. Esther needs to harness the energy of a celestial event. She asked me and Abby to join her." Bonnie explained to her friends.

At the Salvatore Boarding House, Damon entered with a glass of blood in each hand.
"Join me for a little victory drink?" Damon asked his brother.
"Should wait until Klaus is dead." Stefan said to his brother.
"Why are you so extra broody? Did you see the way we stood up to Elena? I like you on my team. Must have driven her nuts." Damon said with a smirk to his brother.
"You still think she's gonna screw this up, don't you?" Stefan asked Damon.
"I think somebody needs to talk to her. She's not gonna listen to anything I say." Damon said to Stefan.
"Is it because of your little sleepover?" Stefan asked to his brother.
"I didn't sleep with Rebekah. Eva told her that she could sleep here and it's not my fault she decided to get jealous." Damon stated to Stefan.
"Well, given who you chose to sleep with, which is her sister, I would say it's one hundred percent your fault." Stefan stated to Damon too.
"I Sleep with Eva because she is my girlfriend and whatever she thinks. Did you a favor. Now you can come in and sweep her off her feet." Damon said to his brother.
"Nah. She's better off without me. Sure as hell better off without you." Stefan said to his brother shrugging his shoulders.
"Fine. Just make sure she doesn't screw up Esther's plan." The raven haired vampire said and left a glass of blood for Stefan which made Stefan look at it for a minute, then turned away without touching it.

At the Gilbert Residence, there was a knock on the door. Elena walked down stairs and answered it. Elijah was outside.
"Elena." Elijah said to Elena.
"Elijah." Elena said to him.
"I don't mean to intrude. I was hoping you and Eva might accompany me. I want to show you and her something." Elijah said to her.

In the woods, Elijah parked his car and he, Elena and Eva got out and started to walk around. He had told them part of the plan.
"Forgot how much I missed this land." Elijah said to the girls playing their plan in case someone was around to hear.
"I can't even imagine what it must have been like a thousand years ago." Elena said to him trying imaging Mystic Falls a thousand years ago.
"You know, your school was built over an Indian village. Where I saw my first werewolf. The town square was where the natives would gather to worship. Matter of fact, near that, there was a field where wild horses use to graze." Elijah explained to the girls remembering his human days.
"That's incredible." Eva said looking around.
"Come." Elijah said to the girls.
"Do you know this place too?" Elena asked him.
"I do. Below us is a cavern I use to play in as a boy. Connects to a system of tunnels that stretch across the entire area. Perhaps it's nature's way of providing us with shelter against the savagery of the full moon. My mother said there must be a balance." Elijah explained to the girls.
"Elijah, we should probably go home." Elena said to the Original.
"I admire you, girls. You remind me of qualities I valued long before my mother turned us into vampires. It's not in your nature to be deceitful and yet when I asked about your meeting with my mother the other night, you lied to my face." Elijah said looking at the youngest Gilbert.
"That's not true. I told you that all your mother wanted was a new start." Elena said to the Original.
"I can hear your heartbeat. It jumps when you're being dishonest with me. You lied to me at the ball; you are lying to me now. Tell me the truth." Elijah said to her and then looked at Eva.
"We never wanted this to happen." Eva said to Elijah grabbing her sister's hand.
"What, girls?" Elijah asked them.
"We were told that whatever going to be in that coffin was going to kill Klaus. When we found out that it was your mother... We didn't know what to think." Elena said to defend herself and her sister.
"Since her return she says she only wants this family whole once again." Elijah said remembering what his mother told all of them.
"When she asked to see us, We... we thought that maybe she could help. That she would find a way to kill Klaus. It's not just Klaus that she wants to kill." Eva explained to him.
"She wants to kill us all, doesn't she? She wants to undo the evil she created." Elijah concluded after what Eva explained to him.
"I'm so sorry, Elijah. I wish there was something I could do to help." Elena said to him with a sda voice.
"You know, one thing I've learned on my time on this Earth... be careful what you wish for." Elijah said and broke a hole into the Earth, grabbed Elena and Eva. Then jumped down the hole with the girls. Later, Elena and Eva were alone in the cavern, trying to get a signal on theirs cells phones.

At Salvatore Boarding House, Damon was on the phone with Alaric.
"I haven't seen Elena and Eva since this morning." Alaric said to Damon.
"Well Eva's not answering her phone even Elena." Damon said with a worried voice.
"Well, I'm surprise you have time to call, what with all this Original sex you've been having." Alaric said to Damon. "You dare to cheat on Eva?"
"Ugh... she told you?!" Damon said and was prepared to deny sleeping with Rebekah.
"Oh, she told me." Alaric said to Damon once again.
"Oh, really? I did sleep with Eva last night, my girlfriend. The Original Barbie sleep in the Boarding House because Eva offered. Nothing else." Damon explained to him. "Did she also tell you that she's having an attack of conscience about this whole Original murder thing?" He asked with sarcasm on his voice.
"Hey, listen, I'm not gonna judge her or Eva for having a conscience." Alaric said to his friend about the Originals.
"Well, you don't have to judge her. Just tie her up, lock her in her room, till this is over." Damon stated to Alaric.
"Well, I wouldn't if I could and I can't because I'm busy." Alaric told Damon.
"Busy doing what?" The raven haired vampired asked Alaric.
"Don't worry about it." Alaric said to his friend.
"Are you with the sexy, psycho doctor?" Damon asked him with a smirk.
"Goodbye, Damon." Alaric said and hang up the phone. When Damon turned, he saw the glass of blood he gave to Stefan earlier. It was still untouched.

At the Mystic Grill, Alaric and Meredith were sitting at the bar.
"Sorry about that." Alaric said to Meredith.
"Does he still think I'm a serial killer?" Meridith asked Alaric with some sarcasm on his voice.
"He's a little judgmental." Alaric explained to the doctor.
"Speaking of. Your x-rays were inconclusive. Your knife wound was already semi-healed. It's impossible to tell anything about whoever stabbed you. Short, tall. Left-handed, right-handed. No clue." Meridith explained to Alaric about his injuries.
"Well, what about my head? Why can't I remember anything about the attack?" Alaric asked Meridith worried about his head.
"Your CT scans were clear. Maybe you were compelled to forget." Meridith suggested to the hunter.
"Wait... you think the killer's a... a vampire?" Alaric asked her surprised.
"There are no other suspects. It's the obvious conclusion." Meridith said to Alaric when two Originals, Kol and Klaus walked up to the bar.

"Oh come on now. Let's not go blaming the new family in town just because you lot have got yourselves a killer at large. Don't mind us. My brother and I are just here to let off some steam, right Kol?" Klaus said turning to his brother.
"Right." Kol agreed with his bother while eyeing the doctor which made Meridith look uncomfortable. Alaric noticed how they seem to know each other. Kol knew that he couldn't do anything to the hunter because of Eva. He was her guardian since she had lost everyone so he would protect him but the other human was a free meal for him. The hybrid looked at his brother and gave a signal for him not do anything. If he wanted Eva, he needed to protect her loved ones not kill them and the same would go for the original hybrid.

At the Old Witch House, Abby and Bonnie were walking up to the mansion. Esther and Finn were walking out of the entrance.
"Who's the creepy, lurky guy?" Abby asked her daughter.
"Esther's son, Finn, he's a vampire so..." Bonnie said and pointed to her ear to indicate he can hear her.
"Wonder what your Grams thinks about the part we're playing in all of this balance of nature stuff." Abby said to her daughter.
"She's probably on the other side, screaming about getting involved with vampire business." Bonnie said to her mother.
"Bennett witches. Thank you for coming. I can think of no better allies than the woman who sent Mikael into his long sleep and the girl who fought Niklaus so bravely." Esther said to Abby and Bonnie.
"Why exactly did you invite us here?" Abby asked to the Original Witch.
"You are the descendants of the witch Ayana. She was a great mentor of mine and I think it's only fitting that I draw from her bloodline." Esther explained to the Bennet's.
"So are you channeling our ancestors?" Bonnie asked Esther.
"I draw from the entirety of the Bennett bloodline, living and dead. The connection affords me great power, although it is somewhat difficult to maintain, which is why I require you, mother and daughter. The bloodline made manifest. Tonight, my sisters, we shall bring peace to the spirits of nature that we serve and for that I thank you." Esther explained to them.

In the woods, Elena and Eva were walking around in the underground tunnels, trying to find a way out. They thought they saw a way when Rebekah appeared, blocking their escape.
"Going somewhere?" Rebekah said to the girls.
"What are you doing here?" Elena asked with fear on her voice.
"Not much. Unless you try to run. In which case, I get to kill you." Rebekah said showing her vampire face.

At the Salvatore Boarding House, Stefan entered the house and then went to the living room.
"I can't find them anywhere." Stefan said to his brother when walked into the living room and saw Elijah sitting by the fireplace, talking to Damon

"Hello, Stefan." Elijah said to Stefan.
"He has the girls." Damon stated to Stefan.
"Actually, they are with Rebekah. As you can imagine, my sister is just dying to tear Elena throat out and Eva is safe because of Kol. So... if you want to save Elena's life, I need you to help me stop my mother." Elijah said to the Salvatore brothers.
"I'm a little embarrassed to admit, but when it comes to killing thousand year old resurrected witches, I'm a little rusty." Damon said with sarcasm.
"Yes, unfortunately, even when killed my mother doesn't seem to want to stay dead. Not with the spirits of nature at her side." Elijah explained to them.
"So, what are we supposed to do?" Stefan asked Elijah.
"The witches that released my mother, she's drawing her power from their bloodline, that line needs to be broken." Elijah said to Stefan about the Bennet line.
"Broken?" Stefan asked not understanding.
"Yeah, he means." Damon said while he made a cutting motion with his forefinger over his neck.
"You want us to kill them." Stefan said already understanding the meaning.
"You know I'd do it myself, but I have absolutely no idea where they are. Besides, seeing me, they'd immediately know my intent. They won't expect to be harm by the likes of you. In any case, you have until six minutes after nine to find them." Elijah said to the Salvatore brothers.
"Oh, how super specific of you." Damon said with sarcasm on his voice.
"By 9:07, the moon will be full, my mother will have the power she needs to kill me and my family. If you do not stop her before then, Rebekah will kill Elena and like I said Eva is safe because if someone touches her, even family, Kol will kill that someone that hurt Eva. So we all have our timeline? I suggest you get started." Elijah said said and started walking towards the exit.

In the woods, Rebekah was recording Elena and Eva on her cell phone.
"Alright, love, now look into the camera." Rebekah said looking at Elena.
"What are you doing?" Elena asked her.
"Shooting a picture to inspire your boyfriend. Why don't you tell them how delightful it is being stuck in a hole with your biggest fan?" Rebekah asked Elena and then turned to the other girl. "You are safe, Eva. If something happens to you, Kol will kill me." The blonde explained to them.
"I guess you think I had this coming, huh? After what I did to you?" Elena asked her.
"You know, I don't know what I want more, to find out we're saved or to find out it's alright to kill you." Rebekah said to Elena faking to think.
"This isn't my fault or my sister. We wanted to get rid of Klaus. At one point, so did you. I didn't know that your mom was planning on killing all of you." Elena explained to the blonde vampire.
"Do you think I want to spend what could be the last few hours of my life having idle chit-chat with a girl who literally stabbed me in the back? Of course not. But for some reason, everybody seems to want to bend over backwards to save your life, which is incredibly annoying, but makes you the perfect hostage. So, why don't you sit down and shut up before I ruin everything by ripping your head off." Reebekah stated and Elena sat down beside her sister.

At the Salvatore Boarding House, Stefan was looking in the freezer where the blood bags were and he pulled one out and looks at it and opened it when Damon entered.
"Clock's ticking. You gonna help me brainstorm a plan or are you too busy fixing yourself a snack?" Damon asked his brother.
"We need to call Bonnie. There's got to be a way for her to stop Esther from channeling all that power." Stefan said to Damon.
"A. What if she's with Esther? B. What if she can't cut her off? C. I don't know how any of this stuff works and D. neither do you!" Damon said to his brother.
"You got a better plan?" Stefan asked his brother.
"Worst case scenario, simple mechanics. Can't draw power from a dead battery." The raven haired vampire.
"Kill them." Stefan stated after what his brother said.
"If it comes to that." Damon said while Stefan was still holding the blood bag. Damon took it, sucked out some blood and handed it back to Stefan.
"There's got to be another way." Stefan stated to Damon.
"Well, what if I told you I had a less diabolical plan." Damon said to his brother and held up a silver dagger.
"You want to dagger Elijah!" Stefan stated and understanding his brother's plan.
"They're all linked. One goes down, they all go down. The witches live, Eva and Elena are safe, problem solved." Damon explained to Stefan.
"We don't know if that'll effect Klaus." Stefan said to his brother.
"Ironically, Klaus isn't our current problem." Damon said to Stefan.
"Dagger is lethal to any vampire who uses it." Stefan remembered to his brother.
"Well, I just so happen to know someone crazy enough to give it a shot." Damon said to his brother with a smirk.

At Mystic Grill, Alaric was on the phone with Damon near the pool table where his sate, Meredith was playing pool. Klaus and Kol were still drinking at the bar.
"Yeah, no, they're still here. Yeah, they've drank their way through half the Grill's liquor supply." Alaric said looking at Klaus and Kol.
"Good. It'll be easier if they're wasted." Damon stated to Alaric.
"So, what's the plan?" Alaric asked to the raven haired vampire.
"Divide and conquer. First, we'll need a little blonde distraction." Damon said to the hunter when Caroline entered the Grill which made Alaric hang up. Caroline and him exchanged looks.

"I remember her from last night. She looks like a tasty little thing." Kol said pointing to the blonde vampire already knowing that his brother asked her help with Elena.
"Say another word and I'll tear out your liver." Klaus said to his brother and the turned to the blonde vampire. "Caroline!"
"Oh, it's you." Caroline said and didn't look happy to see him.
"Join us for a drink?" Klaus invited her.
"Mmm, I'd rather die of thirst. But thanks." Caroline said and left the Grill.

"This pentagram represents our connection to magic and the salt is a symbol of the Earth." The Original Witch said to her son.
"The torches?" Bonnie asked her.
"Five torches. One for each of my children." Esther explained to Bonnie.
"What's the spell you're doing?" Bonnie asked Esther once again.
"As the witch who cast the spell that made them vampires, I can also reverse it. When they become human again, they can be killed. As they are linked as one, my brave Finn will be the sacrifice. With his death, will come theirs." Esther continued to explain to the tanned witch.

At the back of the Grill, Alaric dragged Kol into an alleyway while Stefan and Damon were waiting for him.

"Tell your sexy doctor Good work!" Damon said with a smirk when Klaus rushed over, undaggeed Kol and knocked Alaric against the wall. When Stefan tried to attack Klaus he knocked him out too. All of the sudden, Rebekah revived in the woods.
"I should have killed you months ago." Klaus stated to Damon and then remembered something that would make Damon pissed even more. "That way Kol could take Eva for himself because she belongs to him. They are starting to have the bond of soulmates because of last night." He finished with a smirk.
"Do it. It's not going to stop Esther from killing you and Eva will never forgive you and your siblings." The raven haired vampire said with a smirk.
"What did you say about my mother?" Klaus asked Damon with hatred on his eyes.
"You didn't know I was friends with your dearest mummy? Yeah, we have a lot in common. She hates you as much as I do." Damon said with a smirk on his lips which made Klaus to prepare to attack Damon when Elijah appeared at the top of the stairs.

"You know, if we sit this out, Esther completes her spell, Klaus dies, you get your revenge. It's what you wanted the whole time. The only collateral damage is..." Damon said to his brother trying to understand which side he is.

"You know what they'd choose." Damon stated to his brother.

At the Old Lockwood Cellar Cavern, Elena turned on a flashlight and searched for an exit while her sister was sitted with her back resting against the wall when Rebekah appearred before them.
"Elena! Let's pick it up where we left off." Rebekah said to Elena while she was helding a canister filled with gasoline and then she threw some on Elena.
"What are you doing?" Elena asked her surprised.
"Thought I'd shake things up a bit." Rebekah said to Elena and poured more gasoline around the rest of the cave.
"Are you insane?" Elena shouted at Rebekah while Eva was starting feeling better and got up to join her sister.

"I prefer spontaneous. It's probably why Eva likes me so much." Rebekah said with a smirk threwing the canister at Elena while she ducked in time and the canister hit the back wall instead. Then Rebekah pulled out a match. "Eva, please come and stay by my side, if you die, my brother Kol will kill me." Rebekah said and when Eva was beside her, she turned to Elena. "Here's what's gonna happen." Rebekah said and lighted the match and threw it into the cave, which started the fire inside the cave. "You're gonna come outside." She said and lighted another match and threw it into the cave, starting another fire. "Or you're going to stay in there and burn." The blonde Original said while the fire burned itself out.
"Please, Rebekah, stop." Eva pleaded to the blonde Original.
"The next match is landing on you. So, Elena, how does it feel to know that these may be your last moments?" Rebekah asked Elena while she was recording Elena with a phone. "Sorry, Eva, but I'm having fun with someone who stabbed me in the back when I thought, I made a friend." The blonde said to Eva that was beside her.
"I don't know, you tell me. You're the one whose mother's trying to kill you." Elena said to the blonde with sarcasm.
"You should be very careful what you say to me." Rebekah said to her already getting pissed of with Elena.
"You're still wearing her necklace." Elena said with a smirk on her lips.
"Stop, Lena! Stop provoking her." Eva shouted at her sister.
"Do you want it? Is that your last request?" Rebekah asked while ripped the necklace off and threw it in the cave. "Here. It's all yours." She said with some sarcasm too.
"She's not doing this because she hates you, Rebekah. She told us that she... she just doesn't have another choice." Elena tried to explain to Rebekah.

"Please, Rebekah, stop." Eva pleaded with the Original Vampire and then turned to her sister too. "Please, Elena, stop. We have to find a way to stop their mother, Lena." She said to the two girls.
"And why is that?" Rebekah asked Elena.
"Because there's still a chance that you might be alive tomorrow. And if that's the case and you kill me now, you'll have used up all of your revenge. Wasted it and isn't that what you want? Revenge? Because I… I pretended to like you and then I stuck a dagger in your back. I mean, that's why you slept in Damon's house, isn't it? That's why you're tormenting me, because I hurt your feelings." Elena continued to say to her.
"The tough act doesn't suit you." Rebekah said and the match burns out which made Rebekah dropped it.
"I never said I was tough. But we both know that I'm right." Elena said to Rebekah and watched her sister joining her on the cave.
"I not going to kill you. Eva and you are my brother's soulmates and they deserve to be happy once for a change." Rebekah explained to them. "It's a act to protect you until they can claim you and you can start the bond, which Eva already started with Kol last night." The blonde said to the girls. "You have to continue to hate me and I have to hate you until the right time." Rebekah finished her explanation to the girls, which left them surprised to hear that.

"They're coming, Mother!" Finn shouted to his mother.

"It's okay. They can't enter." Esther said to her son and walked up onto the pentagram.
"That's lovely. We're stuck out here, while the favorite son plays sacrificial lamb. How pathetic you are, Finn." Kol said after approached the pentagram and the torches around it flared up bright and he's driven back.
"Be quiet, Kol. Your brother knows virtue you cannot even imagine." Esther said to her youngest son.
"Whatever you think of us, killing your own children will be an atrocity." Elijah said to his mother disappointed in her.
"My only regret is that I did not let you die a thousand years ago." Esther said to her second eldest.
"Enough of this. All this talk is boring me. End this now, Mother, or I'll send you back to hell." Klaus said with rage in his voice.
"For a thousand years, I've been forced to watch you. Felt the pain of every victim, suffered while you shed blood. Even you, Elijah, with your claim to nobility, you're no better. All of you. You're a curse on this Earth. Stretched out over generations. If you've come to plead for your life, I'm sorry, you've wasted your time." Esther continued to say to her children.

"They took Elena and Eva. They're going to kill them unless we stop Esther." Stefan said to Bonnie about the girls.
"Stefan, I… I can't stop her. She's channeling us!" Bonnie explained to Stefan.
"Bonnie, if you can't stop her. I have to find another way." Stefan said to her, that made both look at each other for a while which made Bonnie start to feel scared. "No, Stefan, no." Bonnie pleaded to Stefan and tried to escape but Stefan rushed over and blocked her way. "What are you gonna do? Even if you kill us, Esther is channeling every witch in our ancestry, living and dead." Bonnie stated to Stefan.

"Mother!" Finn shouted at his mother when the pentagram torches flared up and Finn grabbbed Esther. The other brothers cowered from the flames and after a moment the torches died out. Elijah, Klaus and Kol stand around in shock. Finn and Esther were gone.
"They are gone!" Klaus shouted at his brothers.
"We have to tell Rebekah to let the girls go." Elijah said to his brothers and went to call to his sister.

"You can come out now. Seems your boys took care of the problem." Rebekah said to the girls.

"What?" Eva asked surprised that her boyfriend would do something like that.
"Quite clever, actually. They needed to sever the witch line and, well, you can't be a witch and a vampire. In any case, you're free to go. Oh and, uh, by the way, you were right. I do prefer taking my time watching you suffer. Much more satisfying." Rebekah said to Elena. "Not a word that I don't hate you. It's for your protection." She said and walked away from them.

At the Forbes Residence, Abby was lying on top of the bed while Bonnie was sitting on the bed, helding her hand and crying. Caroline was at the front door, talking to Elena and Eva.
"She doesn't want to see you." Caroline said to the girls.
"Please, just let us talk to her." Elena pleaded to Caroline.
"We never agreed with Damon and Stefan to turn Abby into a vampire." Eva explained to Caroline.
"Abby's in transition. It's going to be really hard over the next few days and if Bonnie needs some time to deal then I think you should give it to her." Caroline said to the girls about what their friend was feeling.
"She's always been there for us, Caroline. Please. Let us just be there for her too." Elena pleaded with Caroline.
"I'm sorry, girls. I know that you want to help, but put yourself in her shoes. Everything that happened tonight was to save the two of you and that's okay because she loves you two. So much. But somehow she's always the one who gets hurt." Caroline explained to the girl which had them nodding understandingly.
"You know, you're right. I just... just tell her that we love her so much, okay?" Eva asked Caroline with tears are in her eyes while Elena agreed in the same state.
"Of course I will." Caroline nodded her head while watched the girls walking away in each others arms. Bonnie was standing in the hallway, crying too.

At the Salvatore Boarding House, Damon was in the bathroom washing his hands. He dried them and put his ring back on when he went inside his room, Stefan was inside the bedroom waiting for him.
"Are they safe?" Damon asked Stefan about the girls.
"Elijah kept his word. Rebekah let them go." Stefan assured his brother.
"Good. All's right in the world again." Damon said and picked up his glass of whiskey.
"I lost that coin toss, Damon. It should have been me who turned Abby. Why did you do it?" Stefan asked his brother.
"Cause I'm not blind. I see what's been going on around here. You're hanging by a thread, Stefan. Barely over your last ripper binge and all you want is to be the old Stefan again." Damon said to his brother already knowing how Stefan was.
"Hmm. That part of me is gone for good." Stefan stated once again to his brother.
"Oh yeah? How long has it been since you've had a drop of human blood?" Damon asked his brother already knowing the answer.
"How'd you know?" Stefan asked Damon surprised that he knew him so well.
"Spend 146 years with someone, you kind of start to pick up on their tells. Answer the question. How long has it been since your last drink?" Damon asked him again while he raised the glass to his mouth and drank.
"Since the night I threatened to drive Elena and Eva off the Wickery Bridge." Stefan said remembering that night.

"You know, you're not fooling anyone either. You love Eva, Damon and you love Elena like a sister." Stefan stated to his brother.
"I do. And I won Eva fair and square. I will fight that soulmate thing with everything I have because I love her and she loves me. I'm better at being the bad guy anyway and Eva loved like I am, she never changed me. I will fight that Original because she is mine and always going to be mine. I will always protect Eva with my life." The raven haired vampire stated and left the room.

Her sister read the letter and understood him because she would do the same thing for her family. The two hug each other and then Eva left to meet with Damon, he would be prepared because Eva Gilbert was really pissed off with hum.

At the Salvatore Boarding House, Eva got inside and went to Damon's room to talk with him. He was waiting for her on his bed with some wine and a bubble bath.

"I mad at you. How could do that to Bonnie?" Eva asked and avoiding him.
"It was you or one of them…" Damon started to explain to her. "I wouldn't kill your best friend so that's why we choose Abby." He continued to explain to her.

"I know. I didn't want to do that. It was you and you know that I always going to protect and save you." Damon came to her and grabbed her cheeks while he kissed her on the lips. Eva couldn't resist anymore and let Damon take her to the bed where they made love to each other. The soulmate mark was invisible for the moment. It would only appear when Eva would be with her soulmate and the bond completed.

At the Mikaelson Mansion, Rebekah walked into the room and saw that Elijah was staring out the window.

"You did it to protect us, Elijah, and rightly so! We deserve to live! We are better than they are." Rebekah said to her brother to defend themselves.

"I hated you when I learned you killed our mother. But I realize now that after a thousand years together as a family, you're the only one who never left me." Rebekah said to her brother.
"Well, aren't we a pair." Klaus said to his sister with some sarcasm on his voice.
"There's something I need you to see." Rebekah said and pulled out her phone and held it up to show Klaus the video of Elena she had take.
"Come to brag about your skills as a torturer?" Klaus asked not liking what she did to his soulmate and he knew that Kol would not liked too while took the phone and looked at the screen.
"Look at the images on the wall behind Elena. The Natives told the story of our family history, look at the images on the far wall." Rebekah said instructing her brother.
"What is it?" Klaus asked her watching the video.
"A Native worshipping at the Great White Oak tree." Rebekah explained to her brother about the images on the wall.
"And? We burned that tree to the ground." Klaus said to her remembering the past.
"Look at the markings that precede it. That's the native calendar." Rebekah said to the hybrid watch in the video.
"This can't be right." Klaus said too shocked.
"A White Oak tree, three hundred years after we fled back to the Old World. There must have been a sapling, a new tree to replace the old. That tree could kill us. It's not over, Nik." Rebekah said to her brother while they were looking at each other.

At Meredith's Apartment, Alaric woke up on the sofa, walked over to the bedroom and saw that Meredith was asleep in her bed. Then he heads into the kitchen, got some medication and took it. He noticed his own hospital inpatient medical folder and briefly opened it before returning it. He picked up another folder with Bill Forbes's name on it and he rifled through it. There are crime scene photos of the knife used to kill him. He finds the knife wrapped in a cloth. He heard the trigger of a gun being pulled. Meredith was aiming the gun at him.
"You weren't supposed to see that." Meredith said and shoot him.

And about both girls becoming hybrids (half witch and half vampire)? Of course, knowing about the Petrova bloodline about the Travellers. And their blood could turn witches into vampires and vampires that were witches have back their powers?
Eva catches Damon cheating on her with someone (I was thinking in Danielle) and Eva and Elena's powers awaken when Jeremy dies.
What do you think if Elena and Eva leave with them to New Orleans at the end of season 4 and are there with them and be part of the show The Originals?
Or doing two stories in separated? One that continues with The Vampire Diaries and the other The Originals?
