UA's Saiyan Heroes
"Cooler." Kaen growled, struggling to get up, but was barely able to lift his arms anymore.
"So this, is the pathetic Saiyan Hero, who managed to mortally scar my brother, and killed my aunt?" Cooler questioned with a laugh, stepping up to Kaen.
"No don't." Toshinori gasped as Cooler grabbed Kaen by the throat, and lifted him off the ground.
"Papa." Eri cried.
"You're so weak right now, it's almost laughable." Cooler stated, before throwing Kaen aside and into a piece of what remained of the ruins. "Pathetic."
"I get you're here for the planet, but how'd you find me? Your ships scouters?" Kaen coughed as he was forced to sit up against the wall.
"There was no need." Cooler scoffed. "You lured me right to you, when you created a giant hole in those storm clouds earlier."
Kaens eyes widened, when he realized Cooler was talking about the counter attack he and Amaterasu made in Nine's final attempt to destroy the island when he went berserk.
"Now, I highly doubt you actually know the reason why I'm here." Cooler stated.
"For revenge, right?" Kaen coughed. "Well I wasn't the one who killed Frostita."
"Revenge?" Cooler questioned with a laugh. "Oh, no, no, no, no, no."
Kaen, Toshinori, and Eri were confused as Cooler just laughed at Kaens question.
"I'm not here for revenge. While it is true I do hold a moral standing for defending family, my Aunt was the only one in my family, I would not uphold that creed for." Cooler stated with a smirk. "I'm here with an offer. For you, Saiyan."
"What?" Kaen questioned.
"Papa, don't move." Eri said, coming to his side.
"What is this offer you have for me Cooler?" Kaen asked.
"Being among the few strongest in the galaxy, it's hard to find a worthy opponent to give me the satisfaction and thrill of battle I crave." Cooler said. "I came here, for a proper battle, and given what I know of you, you're the only one capable of giving me that satisfaction."
"What exactly does this offer entail?" Toshinori questioned.
"I will give you, six hours to prepare yourself for the fight of your life. Six hours is enough time for you to prepare, right? I'm nothing if not a fair Emperor." Cooler stated. "A fight, which will determine the fate of this world, you've called home since you escaped Planet Vegeta's destruction, how old does that make you anyway, 32."
"You're right, I did escape Planet Vegeta's destruction." Kaen scoffed with a smirk, as he forced himself to stand on shaky legs. "But I escaped it when I was an infant, barely a day old."
"I have footage of you, fighting my younger brother Frieza, and going Super for the first time." Cooler stated. "Over Planet Vegeta's Atmosphere."
"It's true, I did take the throne from King Vegeta 3rd, and I did fight Frieza before he destroyed the planet." Kaen huffed, standing tall. "But I was only there, because I was a key player in a temporal causality loop. I'm sixteen years old, and I traveled back in time to the day Beerus had made his surprise visit to the Saiyan home world."
"I see…" Cooler said, his tail tapping the ground in interest. "Then I guess Frieza's injuries were a result of providence at work."
"You could say that." Kaen sighed. "Where will this fight be held?"
"Right here, on this small island." Cooler stated. "If you win, I'll leave you and this quadrant of the galaxy alone, and you won't ever hear from me again. But if I win, you die and this planets inhabitants are mine to do with as I please."
"An' what if I flat out refuse this battle offer?" Kaen questioned.
"Then I'll destroy this planet without a second thought!" Cooler exclaimed, narrowing his brow. "An' given how weak you are right now, there's nothing you could do to stop me from doing that."
Kaen huffed as he forced himself to remain standing, but still had trouble remaining on his feet.
"Fine, I accept your challenge, not like I've got a choice." Kaen stated.
"Excellent." Cooler smiled. "The rules are simple. Anything goes, so long as there's no outside help. An' it'll be a one round fight. Which means you're only gonna have one chance to save this planet." He explained before turning around returning to his men. "We'll fight at the summit of this mountain. Until then, do whatever you need to, in order to prepare for the fight. Farewell."
With that said, Coolers men took to the air, and returned to the Frost Demon ship, before the tyrant himself flew up towards the summit of the mountain.
"This is All Might addressing all heroes and soldiers." Toshinori said, grabbing his radio. "All citizens are to be evacuated from the island, and to the rescue ships immediately. I repeat this is not a drill. The Frost Demon Cooler has just made himself known to us, and is holding a battle to the death on the island in six hours."
"Who'd be crazy enough fight him?" Hawks' voice echoed from the radio. "Isn't he stronger then his Aunt?"
"He is." Kaen said, taking the radio. "That's why I'm the one fighting him."
"Kaen, are you sure about this?" Toshinori questioned as Izumi and Katsumi were taken away by the evacuation team.
"No." Kaen said, while Eri was fiddling with something on her knees. "But I don't have much of a choice, if I refuse he destroys the planet, and if I lose he enslaves humanity, so my only option is to win. Though I doubt he'll back off if I do win."
"I understand you were strong-armed into this fight, but just remember you've got us to support you." Toshinori said.
"Papa." Eri said, holding up a bag that looked rather full. "This is for you."
Kaen took the bag, and noticed it was filled with Senzu Beans. Looking at Eri, he noticed quite a few bags just like it, littering the ground.
"Thanks Kitten." Kaen said, eating a Senzu Bean. "But I'm only gonna need three of these, during the fight."
Eri reached into her Duplication Bag, and pulled out another small bag, filled with only three beans.
"I'm stronger now thanks to the Zenkai Boost I got from fighting Fasha and Nine but…" Kaen stopped, when he noticed the evac team wheeling down a filled body bag.
Toshinori saw where his gaze was, and turned to see what was happening.
"Please tell me, that's not one of your classmates." Toshinori said with worry.
"It's Aunt Fasha." Kaen said, tightening his fists as Toshinori looked to him. "She was part of Nine's group, but I convinced her there was another way. As a result, Nine killed her, for her betrayal. How he managed to kill a Saiyan as strong as her, I will never know."
"He shot her through the head, with a surprise attack." Eri said, surprising Kaen and Toshinori. "I know this, because she was holding me in her arms, when it happened."
"Oh Eri." Kaen said, kneeling down before pulling her into a hug. "I am so sorry, you had to witness that. Are you doing okay?"
"I don't know how I'm doing." Eri said. "I just feel sad, and scared."
"It's okay." Toshinori said. "We'll get you some help to deal with the trauma, when you're ready to face it."
"Right." Eri nodded.
"I gotta prepare for the fight. Problem is, I'm back to full strength, but I know I'm not strong enough to beat him." Kaen stated.
"If only there was a way for you to get more then a few hours worth of training, in the short amount of time you have." Toshinori said. "Hold on, Kaen did your wings grow twice as big as they were before you left for this assignment?"
"Hmm?" Kaen looked over his shoulder to see his wings, had grown twice as large. "Actually, during my fight with Fasha, she tore my wings out, and I grew a new pair, while adding the feathers from my old pair, to these."
"How?" Toshinori asked.
"Well, I might have gone a little overboard when editing the Quirk before adding it to my core." Kaen said. "Since I didn't think they'd actually grow in, I not only put them in as Darmanium, but I also put that they'd grow back better then new if torn from my body, sort of like how Iida's exhaust pipes grew back stronger when he removed them before."
"Okay, that's something we're gonna have to talk about later, but we will talk about it." Toshinori sighed. "What do you plan on doing about the fight though?"
"There might be a way for me to get the training I need." Kaen said. "I need to talk with Team Alchemy."
~Team Alchemy~
"You want us, to what?" Athena questioned, looking at Kaen.
"I need you to turn that Darmanium Cell we made for restraining Aunt Fasha, into some sort of time distortion chamber, where time flows faster within it, then it does in the real world." Kaen stated. "Sort of like an alternate dimension within a box."
"Just exactly how fast are you wanting time to flow within it?" Jenny questioned.
"One day out here, equals two, maybe three years in there?" Kaen said.
"Okay, now you're just asking for the impossible." Winry stated. "There's no way we'd be able to do something like that, within the time limit you have before the fight with Cooler."
"She's right, even with our skills, it could take weeks to even get the first step right." Hatsume said. "What you're wanting us to do, is the equivalent of breaking the laws of physics, quantum physics no less."
"So then, it's a no go?" Kaen sighed. "Thanks I just had to try asking anyways."
"There might be another way." Athena said. "The flying fortress."
"What about it?" Kaen asked.
"During my studies of it, I found some inscriptions on it, writing out some sort of riddle." Athena stated. "The time you seek can be found, but this room has a cost, that will keep you bound. To use this power for good or evil, will be the result of the people."
"So you think it might have something to do with time?" Kaen asked.
"It might." Athena said. "But you don't have the time to waste with testing it out. You need some real training."
"I know, I know." Kaen sighed. "If only I could access the power that allowed me to manifest that rubber body I had fighting Gentle Criminal, or the Grimoire with the sword and gauntlets."
"What power was this?" Athena asked.
"The Wukong Gem… took on two different shapes, one in each battle. They seemed to manifest in the times I needed them most. One allowed me to fight Gentle while I was on a time limit, while the other allowed me to completely negate Nine's powers, with just a swing of a sword." Kaen explained.
"That's… a bit concerning, and intriguing at the same time." Ruby said. "Maybe it's some survival mechanism the gem has?"
"Mecheal thinks it has something to do with the Watchers power. The gem was made with the ground up eye of a Watcher as one of its ingredients, and those are cosmic beings capable of seeing and interacting with the multiverse." Kaen stated.
"So maybe, the gem manifested those abilities for you, because…"
"Because those specific powers, were needed for my survival the most." Kaen said. "The trigger for accessing those abilities, must have something to do with my mental state in a fight."
"Didn't Whis also mention something about the Wukong Gems power, and how he'd be able to teach you to control it?" Athena asked. "Maybe ask him for help?"
"I can't." Kaen sighed. "For one, I don't have a way to contact him, for another I don't know what he'd ask for in return if he were to agree to training me so last minute if I did have a means of contacting him."
"That is a problem." Athena said. "Alright, I'm not sure how we'll be able to do it, but we're gonna build that dimension, let's get too it girls."
~Coolers Ship~
"Look at them down there, all panicking and fleeing the island." Cooler said. "Do they not understand, that running is futile? I'll win in the end, nothing to do but wait for that monkey to exhaust himself with anxiety. Don't you agree Crimzon?" He questioned as the silhouette of another Frost Demon stood behind him.
"Father, what exactly do you plan on doing if the Saiyan actually manages to beat you?" Crimzon asked.
"Isn't it obvious? I'll destroy the planet, and erase any evidence it happened." Cooler said.
"You can't do that father, you gave him your word." Crimzon said.
"I said I'd leave the planet, I never said anything about leaving it in one piece." Cooler stated.
"But what about all the innocent lives that are on this planet?" Crimzon questioned.
"Oh my, to show such concern and compassion for beings who aren't even worth your attention. You really are the black sheep of the family, but as they say, every family has at least one who is different. You must have gotten this mentality from your grandmother." Cooler sighed.
"You know what father, fuck you." Crimzon said.
"What was that boy?" Cooler questioned, turning to look at his son.
Crimzon stood there, his fists gripped tight, wearing white and red bio armor, with obsidian black skin. His head was smooth and shaped like a helmet, with two horns pointed back, and a mask covering his face. (The Upper and Lower body Hero Suit and Bio Suit footwear from Xenoverse2!)
"You heard me father." Crimzon said. "I've had enough of your tyranny, of your hypocrisy. You're nothing more then a power hungry psychopath, who'll kill to get his way. Consider this, my resignation from the Cooler Force." Crimzon turned and marched out of the main hull of the ship, leaving Cooler there alone, as he looked towards his son.
"This treachery will not be tolerated." Cooler growled. "Insubordination, no matter who it is from, shall be met with a slow, and painful death."
~Nabu Island~
"C'mon girls, we've gotta get this done fast." Athena said, as Team Alchemy was working tirelessly on the time distorted dimension room.
"We're going as fast as we can Athena." Winry said. "But this is far out of our wheelhouse."
"She's right, we don't even know what to do in order to create this sort of thing." Mei said.
"I wanna help Kaen level up as badly as you, but I'm not sure we'll be able to finish this in the time we have left before the fight." Ruby said.
"You're not gonna be able to finish it."
Team Alchemy turned to who had spoken, and got on the defensive, when they saw a red, white, and black Frost Demon standing there.
"Who are you, did Cooler send you to sabotage us?" Athena questioned.
"I'm not here, to sabotage anyone." Crimzon said, holding up his hands in surrender. "I'm here, because I need to talk with the Saiyan, who wounded my uncle."
"Uncle?" Ruby asked. "Wait, you're Coolers son?"
"I am, and I have some bad news for the Saiyan who'll be fighting my father, in four hours." Crimzon stated.
~Later~
"So Cooler plans on destroying the earth, if I win?" Kaen questioned, sitting on a boulder, his hands clasped as his elbows rested on his knees, Crimzon sitting across from him.
"That's correct." Crimzon said. "My father, is not a very forgiving person, and forgive me for saying, but he's got more pride then a Saiyan. So much so, he'll destroy any evidence of anyone ever defeating him in combat. Which hasn't happened as of yet."
"I see." Kaen sighed, before his gaze moved up to look at Crimzon. "Say I believe you, say I take you at your word. Why betray him? He's your family."
"Family?" Crimzon asked.
Crimzon looked right at Kaen, before his mask split down the middle, and retracted back into his face plate, revealing the gums and teeth visible on the right side of his jaw, with scar tissue on the edges leading to the face plate.
"Would family, do something like this to you, just for trying to change our ways?" He questioned. "I never agreed with my grandfathers empire. I thought he was being cruel. Then again, I am considered lowest of the low, despite my power level being on par with my uncles."
"Frieza." Kaen said. "You're as strong as him?"
"I am. Though I wasn't born with that strength, I earned it." Crimzon said. "In the entire history of the Frost Demons, I was born with the lowest power level of all."
"So you know the true value of your strength, and you can sympathize with the weak, because you suffered just like them." Toshinori said.
"I was a disgrace to the Cold Empire Lineage, but my father kept me alive, because he thought I might be of some use, one day." Crimzon stated. "But what he doesn't know, is I'm strong now. I've learned that power levels aren't everything, and that the Frieza Force Scouters can't be relied upon."
"I can relate." Kaen said. "When I was a kid, I was forced to rely on my scouters from our escape ship, until I developed how to sense Ki through my martial arts training."
"So now you understand, why I'd betray my father." Crimzon said. "Why I disowned him as my family, and why I've left his ranks."
"Tsukauchi?" Kaen asked, looking to the phone that was on speaker.
"He's not lying." Tsukauchi said. "He's telling the truth."
"Well, good to know we can trust you." Kaen said. "So what do you propose we do since Cooler will destroy the planet if I win?"
"The only way to keep that from happening, is by ending him as fast as possible." Crimzon said, his mask covering his face again. "This fight, is a matter of primordial law, one that all living creatures know, the law that's engraved into their very instincts. Survival of the fittest."
~Fight~
"Holy…" Kirishima gasped, when he saw the top of the mountain had been flattened, and turned into an actual fighting arena for a martial arts tournament. "Somebody please tell me, he didn't actually turn the top of the mountain, into a fighting arena for this battle."
"Cooler wants to make a spectacle of this fight. An' it's not helping that his men are broadcasting it all across the world." Kaen stated, looking around the air to see several of Coolers soldiers surrounding them with cameras pointed at the ring. "Might as well get this over with. It's not gonna be pretty."
"Beloved citizens, of the planet earth." Coolers voice echoed around, as he lowered himself to the ground bellow. "Today, is the end for you. Today, you will witness, as your champion, your hero who's sworn to protect you, perishes at my hands. An' once he falls, I will be your supreme overlord. Surrender, and I'll spare your pathetic lives, putting you to work. Defy me, and you die."
"Naming yourself the winner before you actually win the fight huh?" Kaen asked. "Kinda bold of you, you're not even sure you're gonna win."
"Victory is already assured. There's no way, that a mere primate such as yourself, is capable of defeating someone as strong as myself." Cooler stated.
"Big talk, coming from the bastard who plans on destroying the earth if he loses." Kaen stated.
"I'm not surprised my worthless excuse for an offspring told you my contingency plan. He was always the outcast of our race." Cooler smirked.
"Then let's settle this." Kaen stated, cracking his knuckles. "We'll fight, and it'll be a battle to the death, meaning there won't be any round two."
"You certainly know, the type of battles that excite me." Cooler smirked.
"Then come on, let's dance." Kaen said, taking a battle stance. "As Kaioh Emperor, I will uphold my title, and show you my true strength."
"Bold words, coming from the weakest fighter on the arena." Cooler stated.
Kaen, crouched down before lunging at the Frost Demon. With the Saiyan making the first move, Cooler just stood where he was, allowing for Kaen to throw several of his punches and kicks at him, while he just blocked each strike with his tail.
"Is this seriously all you got?" Cooler questioned with a laugh, while smacking Kaen away. "I'm not impressed."
Kaen rolled along the ground, before getting to his feet, and sliding back, creating grooves in the ground as he slowed his momentum to a stop. Looking up with a glare, Kaen just growled, spitting out a bloody loogy before he charged at Cooler once more.
"This again?" Cooler questioned. "Don't you have any better tricks?"
Kaen didn't respond verbally, as he just ran at Cooler, before faking going left, and went right, causing Cooler to slam his tail against the empty air.
'He used the same tactic, and a faint to throw me off. Clever little primate, however…' Cooler thought, before he twisted around and slammed his fist into Kaens chest, as the Saiyan came in for a strike from behind. "That's still not good enough."
While still in close proximity to Cooler, Kaen swung down one of his wings, intending on slicing through the Frost Demons arm, but his bio-armor proved to be too tough.
"Impossible. Darmanium can cut through anything." Kaen gasped, before Cooler kicked him in the chest, and sent him rolling away.
"Is that what your wings are made of? Pity such beauties, look so hideous on a creature such as you." Cooler stated.
"Fine then." Kaen said, his hair going blonde and blue. "Then how about this?"
Kaen was faster, and he was stronger, Cooler could obviously tell without using his Scouter, but it didn't matter to him. Cooler moved aside, removing himself from Kaen's path, before quickly turning around and slamming his heel on the back of Kaen's neck, causing the Saiyan teens eyes to roll into the back of his head, as he fell to the ground. His hair returning to black and red.
"What a shame, I was really hoping you'd prove to be, more of a challenge." Cooler said, turning to walk away, before he stopped as Kaen's voice reached him.
"You want… more of a challenge?" Kaen questioned, as he forced himself to get to his feet. "Well, since you came all this way, I'd hate to disappoint."
Cooling looked over his shoulder, to see Kaen struggling to stand, breathing heavily.
"Only a few measly hits, and you've already done so much damage to me. I'm in awe." Kaen huffed, as a ring of fire began circling his body. "Let's see how well you're able to handle this."
"What are you up to?" Cooler questioned, noticing how the ring of fire was going faster, and faster.
"Change, change oh form of man." Kaen began to chant, his voice taking on a guttural reverberation. "Release the might of fleshy mile, boil the blood in heart of fire. Gone, gone the form of man, arise the demon, Primal Saiyan."
The ring of fire enveloped Kaen completely, shocking Cooler at this sudden development, before he was forced to look forward. The moment he looked straight at the center of the pillar of flames, his face was forced into another direction, as the Demon Saiyan hit him with a punch. This sudden landing attack, shocked Coolers Armored Squadron, as they weren't expecting this transformation from the Saiyan. For those familiar with this form, they were shocked to find that the Darmanium Wings on Kaens back, were fiercer, and looked sharper.
"Well, isn't this a surprise." Cooler said. "You've still got a few tricks up your sleeve."
Kaen let out a feral roar, as he charged at Cooler, taking the Frost Demon by surprise again, as he vanished from sight, before he hit Cooler with a round house kick to the face. The Armored squadron couldn't believe what they were seeing, as Kaen was actually holding his own against their commander.
"Yes, this is what I came here for." Cooler said.
Flying back, as the fight took to the air, Cooler and Kaen were trading blows, neither of them giving any signs of backing down. As their strikes landed, Cooler could feel the pain resonating through his body, as another long forgotten feeling raced through him alongside the pain.
"This feeling, the thrill of battle. The rush of adrenaline, it's so intoxicating." Cooler stated, before he created an opening, and hit Kaen with a double strike to the back of the neck, in the same spot where he'd landed the kick to the Saiyans spine, sending him to the arena bellow. "Oh how I've missed this rush of enjoyment. Being the strongest in the universe, is ever so dull. So I relish these fights whenever I can."
As Cooler said this, the Demon Saiyan Kaen picked himself up, and glared right at Cooler once more, before he was knocked down again, as Cooler hit him with a massive Ki blast, resulting in an explosion that built up a cloud of smoke. Cooler smirked, before the Demon Saiyan burst from the smoke with an angered roar. This didn't phase Cooler, as he fired off a powerful Ki attack, hitting Kaen in the chest, and causing the smoke to become even thicker, until it began to dissipate, thinning out as the wind carried it off, revealing Kaen standing there, his Demon Saiyan form gone, as he was back to normal. Those watching the fight all gasped, when they saw him standing there, a giant hole in his chest, with blood pouring from it.
"Tired already?" Cooler asked, landing on the ground.
"I can do this… all day." Kaen said, raising his fists, and widening his stance a bit.
"If nothing else, your determination, and ambitions are admiral. I'm impressed you're still standing, let a lone breathing, with that fatal wound in your chest. You'd have made a fine general in my Armored Squadron." Cooler said, stepping closer to Kaen, only to stop when he spotted something on the ground. "What do we have here?"
Kaen looked to what Cooler was picking up with his tail, before gasping and reaching for his neck, finding Pinach's soul pendant was gone.
"Give that back." Kaen said, as Cooler put the pendant in his hand.
"Why, what could this little trinket mean to you?" Cooler asked, looking it over.
"That pendant contains my twins brothers soul." Kaen said. "It's all I have of him."
"Oh? Your brother you say?" Cooler questioned, before his grip tightened on the pendant, letting a shattering sound echo through the air, Kaens eyes widening. "I'd say this makes us even for my aunt then."
Kaen just looked at Coolers hand, before he fell to his knees.
"Oh, don't worry about it too much." Cooler said, stepping up to Kaen, and dropping the shattered pendant in front of the Saiyan on the ground, revealing to Kaen the broken gem, as the glow of Pinach's soul, was lost forever. "If it's any consolation, you'll be joining your twin in Other World, shortly."
Kaen just looked at the shattered pendant, before his face turned into a scowl and he looked up at Cooler. This look actually took the Frost Demon by surprise, before Kaen actually jumped to his feet, and slammed his fist into the tyrants stomach, before hitting him with another strike to the underside of the jaw. With Cooler still limp in the air, Kaen twisted around, and kicked the Frost Demon in the chest, sending him flying back, before slamming into one of the massive boulders surrounding the arena. As Kaen landed on the ground, he crouched down and picked up the pieces of his brothers home.
"You bastard." Kaen hissed. "Pinach, had nothing to do with your grudge against me. He had nothing to do with Frostita's death."
Cooler pulled himself free of the stones keeping him in place, his face a glare as he looked at Kaen, before it turned to one of shock as the Saiyans back was to him, and he was staring into the eyes of a demon, etched into the Saiyans flesh, with the wings accentuating the ferocity of the Demon Back.
"I can understand hating me, I can understand wanting to take me out." Kaen said, turning back to look at Cooler, as storm clouds began rolling in from above. "I can understand, wanting to protect your family." He stated, his anger rising.
Cooler just looked in complete shock at Kaen, as thunder and lightning rolled and lit up the skies, the Saiyans hair weaving about through the energy he was letting off. Those watching from a safe distance, were also shocked, that Kaens power, was rising. His anger was flowing from his body, as the gem in his chest, changed from red to blue.
"But I will never, never forgive you for bringing innocent victims, INTO OUR FIGHT!"
Kaen let out a battle cry of anger, as his hair flashed between colors. Cooler could see the pain he'd caused the Saiyan, but he could also visibly see the power radiating from his body. The ground quaked with intensity, as Kaens cry of anger shook the heavens. His body was enveloped in a bright flash of light, blinding everyone watching the fight, including those who were watching from the forced broadcasts.
(Cue Music… Day of Fate: Jonathan Young)
The light died down, allowing Cooler to see his opponent again, only for his eyes to widen, when he saw Kaen standing there, his hair having turned completely red, and his eyes shifting to the same color, with rose red electricity sparking around him.
"What did Kaen just do?" Toshinori questioned.
"I can't feel his Ki anymore." Kirishima said.
"That's because mortals, are incapable of sensing the Ki of the divine, without the proper training."
Toshinori and the others turned to see Whis standing there, an amused smile on his face as he watched the fight.
"The divine?" Toshinori asked.
"Yes. Kaen has just reached a level of power, he never would have been able to achieve without the aid of the Wukong Gem within his chest, without my training." Whis said. "He's trespassed into the realm of the divine, and has claimed the title of God for himself. Your son, All Might, is now a Super Saiyan God."
The others just looked at Whis, before they all looked back at Kaen, his body rippling with power, as the blue gem in the center of his chest, shined brightly with the roaring fires of his intense emotions. They were all taken aback once more, when Kaen shrugged his shoulders, as if shaking off an itch, and his wings receded into his back, as if they never even existed.
"Cooler, I will end this, here and now." Kaen declared.
"So, you were hiding this all along were you?" Cooler asked, his Scouter coming up with nothing. "My Scouter isn't picking up any sort of…"
Cooler stopped talking, when Kaen came up from out of nowhere, and hit him with a knee to the stomach, and sent him high into the air like a rocket, breaking the sound barrier. Following quickly, the Saiyan wasn't about to let Cooler off the hook.
"Interesting." Whis smiled, before using his staff to project the fight that was happening, for those unable to see it.
Up in the sky, high above the planet's orbit, Cooler stopped flying as he steadied himself. Looking around, he was shocked to find he'd been sent so high, and away from the planet.
"I'm in space?" Cooler questioned.
"Figured it's be best if we didn't have an audience."
Cooler twisted around, before he was forced to bend forward, as Kaen struck him in the stomach, practically folding the Frost Demon in half.
"Don't wanna give any children watching the fight, trauma from the bloodbath I'm gonna create." Kaen stated.
Cooler just growled, before he punched Kaen in the face, using the zero gravity surrounding them to push the Saiyan back.
"You think you're so tough?" Cooler asked. "You're nothing, but an insignificant ant I can squash any time I want. You're not the only one with a final form you know."
Cooler built up his power, allowing for it to accumulate throughout his entire body, before he was stopped as Kaen hit him with a spinning kick to the side of the head. The Frost Demon just glared at Kaen, before the force of the strike sent him to the surface of the moon. Cooler, picked himself up from where he landed on the moon, just as Kaen landed in front of him.
"Did you really think, I'd allow you to take on your final form?" Kaen questioned. "I'm not stupid enough to think I'd have a chance against you in your final form. I might, give how strong I am now, but I'm not risking it."
Cooler fired off a Ki blast at Kaen, and the Saiyan deity just the attack head on, forcing his head to bend backwards. Coolers eyes widened in shock, when Kaen just readjusted his neck, and glared at the Frost Demon with an amused smirk.
"What the hell are you?" Cooler questioned, blood dripping from his nose. "That attack had enough power in it to destroy ten planets at once. Just what the hell are you?"
"You can destroy planets, but you can never destroy what I am!" Kaen said, his power radiating around him. "I am the hope of the universe. I am the answer to all living things that cry out for peace. I am protector of the innocent, I am the light in the darkness. I am the universe's Symbol of Peace. I am the warrior you've heard of in lore and myth, pure of heart and awakened by fury, whose power transcends that of the mortal realms." He stated, before his power burst like a raging inferno with the force of it driving Cooler back. "I am Kaen Yagi, the Super Saiyan God, ally to good, nightmare to you!"
(End Song…)
Cooler just looked at Kaen, before he charged at the Saiyan, his instincts telling him to run, but his pride telling him to fight. Swinging at the Saiyan, Cooler missed the strike, as Kaen simply side stepped, evading the strike, before slamming his knee into Coolers chest. The Frost Demon staggered back from Kaen, before the Saiyan hit him with continuous punches, leaving no openings for Cooler as he suffered he Saiyans wrath.
Finally, Kaen stopped his brutal attacks, with a single strike hitting Cooler in the face, and sending him down onto the surface of the moon, building up a cloud of moon dust. The dust began to settle, as the silhouette of Kaen could be seen, standing over Cooler, with one foot on the Frost Demons chest.
"How?" Cooler coughed, blood floating into the low gravity on the moon.
"Because you're too prideful in your own strength. You never considered the possibility that you might one day, lose it all by challenging an opponent you could hope to win against." Kaen stated thrusting his right arm, into the open space above him.
On the planet Earth, those watching this fight unfold, were stunned speechless before they all began cheering at how the hero in training protecting them, was victorious.
On Nabu Island, Toshinori couldn't have been prouder of his son, while the others were cheering on in their own way, Whis smiling at how Kaen was victorious, before he became concerned, when he saw Kaen swaying, the power leaving him.
"Pardon me a moment." Whis said, before vanishing in a pillar of light. Moments later, Whis returned with Kaen and Cooler suspended in energy produced by his staff. An' Kaen was not looking so good, his wings having returned.
"Kaen." Mina gasped.
"What's wrong with him?" Toshinori questioned.
"It's his power." Whis said, putting both fighters on the ground. "The attack Cooler did that left a hole in his chest, should have killed him. But it didn't, not for long at least, thanks to the Wukong Gem in his chest. However, when he took on the power of a Super Saiyan God, he caused that power to burn faster. He needs some medical attention right away, or he will die once again."
"Again?" Mina asked.
"Oh yes, he was dead momentarily after Cooler put that hole in his chest, but the Wukong Gem revived him, and has kept him alive." Whis said. "But it came at a hefty price however."
"Papa." Eri said, coming to Kaens side, pulling a Senzu Bean from her pouch. "Eat this Papa."
"Hold on Eri, don't give anything to Kaen yet." Athena said, before looking up to see the Armored Squadron still filming. "Hey, your boss is defeated. Stop broadcasting and leave this planet."
The Armored Squadron didn't seem to listen to Athena, as their broadcasting equipment was still going, before each piece was destroyed by an energy attack that came from someone they were not expecting it to come from.
"You heard her." Crimzon said, lowering his hand. "Get lost, now. My father is bested, and his Armored Squadron is no more. Leave this planet now."
"What about you?" Mina asked.
"I have nowhere to call home. But if you'd allow it, I'd like to stay here, learn how to use my power for helping the weak." Crimzon stated. "This planet is filled with heroes, and I'd like to learn how to become one myself."
"You've done a great deal, helping us and providing us with information about your father. I'd be honored to write a letter of recommendation for you to take the entrance exams at U.A for next year." Toshinori said. "I might be a retired hero, but I can still use my power to pull a few strings."
"Aaaaah." Eri's voice cried out.
Everyone turned to see Eri, hung in the air, by Coolers tail wrapped around her throat, squeezing tightly on it, while barely being able to stand.
"You always were, a disappointment son." Cooler huffed. "To think you'd stoop so low as to betray your own father."
"You were never truly my father. You were just the bastard who knocked up my mother, and killed her when she tried to protect me from her." Crimzon stated. "Put the girl down."
"Oh I don't think so." Cooler said. "I'm gonna squeeze the life out of this primate, and make you watch as I…"
The Frost Demon was unable to continue, as he felt the menacing aura of something standing behind him. Looking behind him, he saw a tall muscle bound mountain of a man, with long red hair graying at the sides, and menacing eyes looking right at him.
"I'd suggest, you remove your tail, from my granddaughters throat. Right, now!" Yujiro said, grabbing Coolers tail, and squeezing hard on it.
The pressure and pain was enough to cause Cooler to cry out, as his grip loosened on Eri, forcing him to drop her, right into Yujiro's other arm.
"You lost this battle, and yet you still think you have a chance of winning, now that my grandson is hanging onto life by a thread? You're pathetic. Alexander the Great, had more pride and humility then you." Yujiro stated.
Before Cooler could to anything to counter Yujiro's taunts or his pain, a spinning blade came flying through the air, zipping past Cooler several times. The Frost Demon looked to where the blade came from, and saw Kaen, on one knee, and holding his arm out before the spinning blade stopped in front of him, revealing it was one of his Darmanium feathers.
"You lose Cooler." Kaen huffed, showing the wound on his chest was nothing more then a nova star shaped scar, with the Wukong Gem, red once more, protruding from the center.
With a flick of his fingers, Kaen sent the feather blade at Cooler, before it skewered him right through the chest, piercing his heart. The force of the strike caused the earlier damage, to become visible as Coolers arms and legs fell from his body. Blood spilled everywhere, as Cooler fell, and the Armored Squadron were all in shock, as Kaen got to his feet, and looked right up at them.
"Leave, or die." Kaen growled. "Your choice."
The Armored Squadron looked at Kaen, before they all panicked in fear and flew back to the Frost Demon Empire Ship, and took of for the deepest regions of space.
"Glad that's over with." Kaen sighed, falling on his butt. "I have no idea what I was gonna do if they chose to fight."
"You did the right thing babe." Mina smiled. "Let's help the islanders rebuild, then go home."
