Chapter 11

Now we arrive at a lake, Reisa is fishing along with East and Lillie while Ethan and Kris are playing with Meganee and Expo. I am still thinking about what to use with the Lure Balls.

"Woah, I found a bait!" Reisa says.

"Me too!" Lillie says as they pull out the rod, they catch two Poliwhirls.

I notice them and say, "Wow... both of you get a Poliwhirl."

Ethan says, "I already have a Poliwhirl, so it is not that interesting."

"You have one, but I don't. And that's why I'm going to capture it." Reisa says as she tosses Totodile.

"I am not going to lose as well." Lillie uses Slowking to battle.

"Use Crunch!" Reisa said, Totodile used the move and then hit Poliwhirl. Poliwhirl uses Belly Drum and then Ice Punch, but Totodile dodges.

"Pyschic!" Lillie yells as the Pokemon takes Poliwhirl into the air.

"Alright, finish it off with a Water Gun!" Reisa says as Totodile does it. She then tosses the Pokeball and captures him.

"You too, Water Pulse!" Lillie yells as she defeats the Poliwhirl, she also tosses the Pokeball and captures the Pokemon.

"I caught it!" Reisa cheers along with Lillie.

"Way to go!" Kris says

"Indeed. That is really a Double success." Ethan says. Reisa's Totodile also evolves into Conconaw when cheering his victory.

"Totodile also evolved." East says as Reisa hugs Conconaw.

Just then, a splash of water appears and Totodile jumps out of it. I say, "Another Totodile!"

"And look what it's doing!" Kris says as we notice that the Totodile is dancing happily.

"Wow, he is so cute, right, Conconaw?" Reisa asks, and Croconaw agrees.

"Alright, I am capturing it!" I toss the Lure Ball and capture the Pokemon immediately.

Totodile: The Big Jaw Pokemon: Water Type. This rough critter chomps at any moving object it sees. Turning your back on it is not recommended.

After releasing him, Totodile starts to dance with Pikachu, much to our amusement.

And after a while, we also find out that Totodile is in love with Reisa's Marill, but Marill doesn't feel the same.

"This sure is a headache..." Reisa says.

"Yeah, maybe Marill should tell him to stop." Lillie says.

Then Team Rocket appears and tries to steal both Totodile and Marill. But they evolve to protect themselves and send Team Rocket flying. Azumarill also tells Conconaw she doesn't have feelings for him, but she still wants to be friends, which Conconaw understands.

Croconaw: The Big Jaw Pokemon: Water Type. Evolved from Totodile at LV:18. The tips of its fangs are slanted backward. Once those fangs clamp down, the prey has no hope of escape.

As we continue, we finally find a small cabin, and I say, "I totally forget that we're actually here!"

"You're right! We can finally take a rest." Lillie smiles.

Kris and Ethan are confused and Ethan asks, "Guys? What is this place and why are you excited?"

Reisa says, "The thing is, this is the Ketchum Family's Psychic Type Manor."

"Wait, you mean this is a manor? But it looks just like an old house..." Kris says.

"Wait and see." I open the door and reveal a teleportation pad. Lillie says, "Of all the manors, this one is the best."

Ethan says, "Okay... it is just a teleportation pad..."

When we step in, Kris and Ethan are shocked to see that they're teleported to a dome that can actually see the Earth in front of us.

"Wait, we're in outer space?" Kris asks.

"This Psychic Type Manor is located on the moon." I say. "We are safe in this dome, so don't worry."

Then we show them around as we arrive at the battlefield, and my Alakazam, Slowbro, Mr. Mime, and even Mew come to greet us. "It's so great to see you again!"

"Is that a real Mew?" Kris asks.

"Yes, this Mew is our Pokemon." Lillie says. "Although Ash did get into trouble before capturing it."

"I can tell." Reisa sighs.

"I was wondering why the Pokemon are excited." Just then, my Dad and Leaf are now standing in front of us. "Leaf! Dad!" I say.

"Nice to see you guys again." Leaf says.

After the introduction, I asked, "Dad, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in the Sevestar Region?"

My Dad says, "I heard from your mother that you encountered Team Rocket in Azalea Town. Is that true?"

"Yeah, we met Proton again, but he was beaten by Ariel." I say. "I assume you know her? Leaf?"

Leaf nods, "When Silver and I escaped, she found us and she trained me until I can become a trainer."

"That reminds me, you've never told us who kidnapped you and Silver..." I say.

Leaf frowns and says, "I was kidnapped by the Masked Man."

"The Masked Man?" East asks.

My Dad says, "Three years ago, we of Team Alpha faced the Masked Man and his army at the Indigo Plateau. He is a dangerous man who has the power to control people through ice masks. The army that he gathered were grunts of every criminal organization that were controlled."

We feel shivers as Dad continues, "The Masked Man is capable of manipulating ice, and his goal is to use a special Pokeball to capture a Pokemon known as Celebi."

I know Celebi, that also reminds me, its shrine is actually near our manor's secret entrance. "Do you think the special Pokeball is the GS Ball?"

I take out the ball and say, "But none of us are able to open it... not even Kurt can open it, so I have to assume that Celebi is inside?"

My Dad says, "It might be the case, however, I suggest that something might happen if you take the GS Ball to the shrine."

Then we decided to head to Ilex Shrine. But just after we place the ball in front of it, the ball suddenly opens, revealing a Celebi. "So that's a Celebi..." Ethan says.

Then Celebi's eyes glowed and we are time-traveled to the past. "Where are we?" Reisa asks.

"This is not Ilex Forest, I think we're time-traveled to the past..." I say.

My Dad looks around and senses the time and space, he says, "We were in Saffron City, 3 months ago."

"Wait, isn't that when I start going to Sevii Islands with Misty and the others?" I ask. "But why?"

When we notice someone's coming, we decide to hide. We are shocked to see who's standing there: Giovanni, and Ariel.

"You told me... you were the number one in the world! Are you going to quit? What are you going to do now?" Ariel demands.

Giovanni says, "One must acknowledge one's defeat before he can move on... I will go solo... for now... So that one day I will form a stronger organization!"

"Still with that nonsense?" Ariel says in a cold tone. "What aspect of you was number one, then? Gathering so many only to be defeated by someone who did what I couldn't do."

"Putting together the potential of many is how you produce a huge power... That's what an organization is... That's the strength of an organization. I failed... to make the best use of my subordinate's potential...! But you shall witness one day the revival of me and my Team Rocket!"

"I don't understand you!" Ariel says, "You don't want my mother's help and you want to continue doing evil things?"

"You'll understand one day." Then Giovanni leaves. Ariel grits her teeth and says, "I don't want to understand you. I will never be like you. A coward when you're alone and acting like a tyrant when you're in front of other cowards. If you revive Team Rocket, this time, I'll get any help I need to stop you and bring you back home."

Then she leaves, and now we travel back into the present. I say, "Why did you show us that, Celebi?"

"Just because Giovanni is not going to lead Team Rocket now doesn't mean he won't return." My Dad says. "He must be somewhere hiding and waiting for the moment to strike back. Is that right, Celebi?"

Celebi nods, and she uses Telepathy. "The moment when Team Rocket returns, there will be a disaster. I can't reveal more of it."

Then she flies in front of me. "Ash. I'm glad you finally brought the ball back to the shrine. I think it is time to free the poor soul who is trapped in time."

Leaf gasps, "Are you going to free the Masked Man? But why?"

Celebi ignores Leaf's words and opens the shrine, and just then, an old man just falls to the ground. We can't believe who we're looking at, and Lillie is probably the most shocked of all of us.

My Dad says, "Masked Man, or should I say... Pryce. The Mahogany Gym Leader."

The man named Pryce looks at my Dad and says, "Adam... you're still not going to let me go, isn't it?"

"Don't worry. We're not going to arrest you." My Dad helps him up and says, "I just want you to tell me why you go this far to kidnap children, attack the Indigo Stadium Gym Leaders with controlled grunts, and even use the GS Ball to have Celebi bring you back in time?"

Pryce sighs and says, "Everything is for my Lapras Glacier. It may seem unimportant to you, but it means important to me. I lied when I said Pokemon were just my weapons. Pokemon should be loved. They should be cared for and loved. They should be symbols of love! And now, Glacier is back with her parents, I thought my purpose is finished and I could die peacefully. However, it seems that Celebi gives me different plans."

He turns to Leaf, who backs away a little. "Leaf, look how much you've grown."

"Stop saying things like that. You kidnapped me with Ho-oh and tried to make me one of your pawns..." Leaf says.

"I didn't treat you like a pawn, I really want to treat you as a part of the family. But it seems that Adam gives you a new home." Pryce says.

My Dad says, "Leaf, there was something about the past I haven't told you. Your parents were good friends with Pryce, it pains him to watch you suffer as an orphan. That's why he has Ho-Oh take you to him so he can raise you."

"But then you escaped, along with another boy." Pryce sighs. "I won't blame you. I probably didn't give you the same love that Adam showed you right now."

Leaf frowns, and then Pryce turns to Dad. "What about my other four subordinates? Did they pay the price because of my actions?"

My Dad says, "All of them already come clean. Two of them become Elite Four members of the Johto, and the other two are waiting for your return, acting as gym leaders in Mahogany Town."

"I see..." Pryce says. "Do what you want with me. I won't resist this time."

Then my Dad brings Pryce away, and Lillie says, "I'm conflicted... to think one of the best Ice Type Gym Leaders used to be a criminal..."

"But he might change, that's why Dad is going to let him ago. If things go well, I think we're going to meet him again in Mahogany Town..."

"You're right about that." Ethan says. "What about you, Leaf?"

"I think I need some time to digest everything. Sorry about that." Leaf then bids farewell to us. And since Celebi is going to travel with us, we welcome our new Pokemon to the team.

Celebi: The Time Travel Pokemon. Psychic and Grass Type. This Pokémon wanders across time. Grass and trees flourish in the forests in which it has appeared.

Here is a new chapter, and I reveal a lot of Manga parts in this chapter and I hope you like it. The next chapter will be Route 34.
