Moonfang is a Lunagaron and Kada's pet. He has purple and blue skin and bright yellow eyes.
He is a proud and intelligent Lunagaron, but unlike his species, he is much more curious yet as aggressive, and distrustful of strangers. He treats his fellow creatures with fairness and understanding, and he will protect them at any cost.
Moonfang was first seen with Kada as her personal pet and protector, given to her as a gift from her father. Moonfang is super distrustful of Raiden and her friends and even attempts to attack them. However, he soon senses the team aren't threats and becomes docile.
Like others of his kind, Moonfang is very agile and can easily climb up and jump off walls and large rocks. He is agile enough to perform several attacks in a row using his front legs, as well as acrobatic movements. Although normally quadrupedal, Moonfang has a "true-form" in which he takes a bipedal stance. Additionally, Moonfang can chill the air he inhales with a special organ, which then circulates throughout his body as a unique form of thermoregulation. He can also use this ability to form ice armor on himself during combat and breath mist of frost.

Moonfang is named after his love for moons.
It's unknown how Moonfang came to be with the Azimuths but it's possible he was brought from the Monster Hunter world.
