(Song for this chapter: "You Find Out Who Your Friends Are" by Tim McGraw)

Colleen wakes up and thinks of a gift for Brandy.

Luke wasn't going to the party after school. He didn't have any reason to be there.

"I'm going for the chocolate fountain." Lana says.

"It's a school day." Lori says as the kids groan. Luke didn't hesitate to get ready for school.

Everyone got their breakfast as Lynn was the first one out the door.

"Good luck!" Lynn says as Lucy frowned. She didn't finish her homework or her poet study worksheet for English class. She was too worried about things, like Lynn losing control.

"What's wrong?" Lincoln asked.

"She's gonna lose control again. I know it." Lucy says worriedly.

They soon arrive as Margo keeps an eye on Lynn.

Luke heads to class as he sees Colleen looking starstruck and holding her geography project as she decorated it based on Brandy.

"You were supposed to do your project on Spain." Luke says. "Ms. Salter told you. Yet you didn't pay attention to her when she said so."

"I'm in love. No one pays attention when they're in love." Colleen says.

"Okay…have fun explaining your failing grade to your parents. Ms. Salter said that this project counts for 50% of your grade." Luke says as he walks to class.

Colleen looked desperate and got an idea. She rushed to Lisa's school.

"Lisa, Lisa, I need a favor!" Colleen says.

"Huh?" Lisa says as Colleen pulls her aside. "I need one of your spare Spanish projects. Please?" Colleen asked.

"I don't condone cheating." Lisa says. Colleen got an idea. She does her project and bases it on one of Angry Luigi's adventures in Spain.

With Lucy, she was in her English class. She knew her teacher would be mad once she found out that Lucy didn't do her homework. And the poet study worksheet was due by the end of school today. The class was studying Robert Frost for their poet study, and the whole class had worksheets that had to be done and discussed with the class.

The teacher entered as Lucy froze and teared up. She didn't want to be in hot water with her mother.

In class, Lynn had tied her arm to her chair to make sure she was in control.

"Now, who would like to share their project first?" Ms. Salter asked.

Luke raised his hand up.

"Ah, Luke! Go right ahead and present your project to the class. Please give Luke your undivided attention, class." Ms. Salter says. "You may begin when you're ready, Luke."

Everyone looks at Luke as he does his presentation on the seven continents of the world. He even does a song he practiced about the subject, which he learned from Rachel Coleman herself.

Everyone clapped as Luke finished. Lynn sighed and clapped, wishing he'd trust her.

Soon, Lynn had to present her project on France, a project which Lisa had to help her out on. Luckily, she got through it. Luke gave her a thumbs up.

Soon, Colleen explains about Spain the best she could, but you could tell it was a jumbled mess, and most of it was really about Angry Luigi's adventures through Spain.

"Colleen, thank you. Stephen, you may start your presentation about Australia now." Ms. Salter says.

Meanwhile, Lucy was working on her poet study worksheet as fast as she could. Mrs. Wilkinson pulled out a book, which was full of Robert Frost's poetry.

Lucy soon finished. "Mrs. Wilkinson, I'm done." Lucy says.

"Lucy, what's going on? You haven't done your last 3 assignments. Is this because of Lynn?" Mrs. Wilkinson asked.

Lucy frowned. "They've been having bad blood. Luke's been hurt over and over." Lucy says.

At lunchtime, the twins sat together.

"This is the life…" Randy says, signing autographs.

"Happy birthday, Brandy." Colleen says to him.

He looked down, having no friends, while his brother had a lot of friends. Most people just wanted to see their hero.

Colleen sat with Brandy. Brandy was nervous and confused.

"Who's she?" Randy asked as Brandy thinks.

"She's just a friend." Brandy says.

"You have friends? That's a shock." Randy says.

"You wanna sit with me and my friends?" Colleen asked. Brandy nods and goes with Colleen to her table.

Brandy looked nervous and shy. Luke looks at him.

At the end of the day, Lucy sighed.

Tabby finds Lucy. "Hey, love." Tabby says.

"I'm pretty sure I'm going to fail English class…" Lucy says.

"What happened?" Tabby asked.

"I didn't do my last three assignments and I'm pretty sure that I'll have to study Robert Frost in summer school…" Lucy says.

"You need to talk to your mom. She might know what to do." Tabby says.

"I know she's not going to be happy with me…" Lucy says. Lucy heads home.

Most of Luke's friends headed to the twins' birthday party. Luke just headed home.

Lucy sees Luke. Luke just keeps walking.

They arrive home.

Charity smiled. "Hi, Luke, how was schoolschool, my sweet treasure?" she asked.

"Ms. Salter and my classmates loved my seven continents project! Ms. Salter gave me a triple A-plus…an A with three pluses!" Luke says, smiling.

"That's amazing, honey! And what about you, Lucy?" Charity asked.

"I-I…" Lucy stammered, looking away.

"You can tell me." Charity says.

"Promise you won't get mad." Lucy says.

"I promise." Charity says.

"I screwed up my last 3 assignments." Lucy confessed. Luckily, Charity wasn't mad. She knew why.

"I'm sorry, I guess I'm going to summer school." Lucy says.

"Sweetheart, Mrs. Wilkinson told me you can get extra credit for those missed assignments. Just ask her about it next time you go to your English class." Charity says.

Alem tuber smiled as Luke's friends were at the party. But Garrett wasn't. He couldn't be there. Mostly because he wanted to hang out with Luke. He was Luke's best friend. Not Randy's.

Brandy just sits alone as the party progresses.

Leni got Luke a cake. "Nice job on your triple A plus thingy." Leni says.

"We're so proud of you!" Luna says.

"You deserve it!" Garrett says.

Luke smiles and cuts a piece from it.

Lynn walked up to Lucy. "Lucy, I heard what happened." Lynn says.

Luke looked over and hissed at Lynn.

"Look, I'm sorry, okay?" Lynn says.

"Luke forgives Lynn. Luke is taking his cake and going to his room now." Luke says as he disappears upstairs, mad that the attention isn't on him anymore.

The siblings soon show Luke a card they made for him. Luke just stared at it.

"And then Blam! I sent him to space!" Alem tuber says.

"You're not so bad. At first we didn't want to be friends with you." Stephen says.

"Ha, ha…wait, what?!" Alem tuber asked.

Angry Luigi sees no gifts for him. Colleen gave him a gift, then left to see Luke.

Luke puts the card in a drawer. He then sits on his bed with his cake and eats it. He had nothing else to say to anyone.

"Luke?" Leni asked.

"Garrett is the only friend who is ever proud of me!" Luke sobbed. "The others just left me for those twins! They didn't clap for me when I finished my project, while Garrett did. They banished me from the lunch table, but Garrett offered me a seat at his table, and so I spent lunch with him. Then the rest of my day was just spent with Garrett. The others spent time with the boy twins just because it's their birthday. I now know who my real friends are!"

"Would a real friend bring you cupcakes?" Colleen says at the doorway with a gift.

Luke sniffed and looked at Colleen.

At the party, there were lots of games to play.

Alem tuber was winning a lot of them.

"Heh, I'm king!" Randy says.

"Randy, time for that birthday bash thingy." Bob says as Brandy sighed.

Alem tuber leaped and punched his brother and hit him with a bunch of punches.

Meanwhile, Colleen talked to Luke.

"Brandy is super shy, but he's nothing like his brother. Honestly, the reason I fell in love with him was because I used to have a crush on you." Colleen says. "He's so much like you."

Luke still felt broken about everything that had happened at school, the only good things being the time with Garrett and the really good grade on his geography project.

"You two could be friends." Colleen says.

Luke just began to cry. He was listening, but he just felt numb and he felt upset.

"I've lost them to those twins! Just because they're so popular and they're so good at everything!" Luke sobbed.

"Actually, they're just there for the cake, and that is not true. Brandy has lots of struggles." Colleen says.

Luke just sobbed and sobbed as he knew he lost the rest of his friends aside from Colleen and Garrett.

Alem tuber kicked Angry Luigi down as Remy high fived him.

Angry Luigi slipped and fell in the pool. Everyone laughed as Remy saves it for the school highlight reel.

Then Alem tuber let Lonnie hit the pinata. Angry Luigi felt left out

"Someone stole the cake I worked so hard on." Stephen says as suddenly Jack's truck drove in.

"Jack. Status report." Alem tuber says.

"We have everything." Jack says.

"Engine, cake, boosters, music!" Alem tuber says as Alex played "I Like To Move It".

Jack drove off.

"Party's over. Unlike Luke, I have actual friends to trust and FYI, I know you were using me." Alem tuber says.

"Randy's right we were using him." Remy says.

The boys were high-fiving as Reilly smiled. "Mission complete!"

Angry Luigi watched them leave and looked down and headed inside, wishing he had friends.

"It's okay. I'll get you your favorite muffins." Skylia says to Brandy.

"There will be none." A voice says as Card Shark was right behind him.

"Who are you?" Skylia asked.

"A villain who needs that brat for reasons I cannot explain." Card Shark says.

"You kids should run home. Honestly, I'm kinda realizing how disloyal you are. Randy was right." Skylia says, hitting Luke's friends right in the heart.

Card Shark shot water, but Skylia used magic, turning it against him as they leap towards each other. He tries punching her, but Skylia dodges.

With Luke, tears still poured down his face. He was very sad and heartbroken. He knew those friends no longer cared about him.

They soon come in. Luke had his back turned to them.

"Luke, we're really sorry…" Stephen says as they had gifts.

"Suuuure you are…" Luke sniffed.

"We really are sorry, Luke." Remy says.

"We didn't mean to upset you…" Lonnie says.

"Come on, open these gifts we brought you." Remy says.

Luke sniffed and opened them, and smiled at his friends before hugging them all. He knew they never hated him.
