When Law woke up the next day, he wasn't expecting to find Kasey laying on top of him. Apparently the girl moves in her sleep much to his dismay. At least the girl doesn't kick in her sleep or snore. What puzzled him was the fact that the girl was quiet even when she's fast asleep. He laid still and debated for a while if he should wake her up or not. He looked down once again at the girl sleeping on his chest. She did look rather peaceful, but he had things to do. So without a moment's hesitation he shoved her off of him, the girl rolling onto her side with a groan. He stood up, his lower back popping as he stretched his arms above his head.

"Is it morning already?" Kasey yawned, sitting up while rubbing her eyes.

"Yeah." Law answered. He turned towards her. "You move in your sleep."

"I know I do." She replied cheekily, rubbing her nose with her ring finger. "Sorry if I ended up on top of you or in any weird position really." It wouldn't be the first time that's happened.

Law wasn't convinced it was sincere as the brat didn't sound the least bit sorry at all. "You're not sorry are you."

The girl just giggled at this and shook her head. "Nope."

He sighed. It was only morning and he already wanted to throttle her. "Tch, just get out of my room so I can get ready."

" 'Kay." Kasey got out of the bed and walked out of the room. It was good to see she was capable of listening to others. Law had a feeling it was going to be a long day and it had only just begun.

As Kasey ran back to her temporary room to get ready for the day, she decided she had a new mission to accomplish. Since Law wouldn't tell her what his plans were, she was just going to have to figure it out herself. Due to her job, she has learned that one of the ways to figure out a person is to follow them and keep track of their routine. It worked for her previous assignments and those of her partners, so there should be no reason it wouldn't work for this one. If there even was a chance it wouldn't work then she would just have to resort to using more extreme measures. Then she could finally get the answers she was looking for. While she was rummaging through her bag, she took out her personal baby transponder snail. The girl held the snail in her hand for a while just staring at it.

As Kasey stared at the snail, she debated whether she should call her friends and family back home to let them know of the situation she was in. But decided against it as she shoved the snail back into her bag. They all had bigger things to worry about and she didn't want to burden them. Besides, if the people back home got wind of this, she would never hear the end of it. Especially from her big brother as he was one of the people who advised against this. It was like a big 'I told you so' waiting to happen and like hell she would give that hypocrite the satisfaction. It was a miracle she even got permission to leave the Island at all.

It was not like Kasey couldn't defend herself against a stronger opponent. She could. She was by no means weak and defenseless. Don't get her wrong she loved fighting, hell she could be even sadistic at times. Kasey just preferred not fighting her opponent on a submarine in the middle of the ocean. After Kasey finished getting ready, she ran back out into the hallway with a big smile on her face. She was going to have so much fun doing this.

It was breakfast time and Kasey was sitting with the rest of the crew in the dining area. She was in the kitchen earlier and watched the cook like a hawk as he prepared their food. She didn't want to take the chance if he decided to sneak poison or drugs into her food. No one spoke a single word as they all ate their food in awkward silence. She could feel their stares on her as she ate. If Ikkaku wasn't a member of this crew, she would think they haven't been around a girl at all.

"Would you like a muffin or a piece of fruit?" Bepo offered, breaking the silence. Good thing too because the silence was starting to freak her out. "The muffins are fresh out of the oven."

"No thank you, I'm good." Kasey politely rejected. She didn't want to take the chance if they ended up being tampered with in any way. The polar bear mink then apologized with his head down. She wanted to ask him if she could touch his fur to see if it was as soft and fluffy as it looked but decided to do it another time.

Sachi raised his eyebrow at the girl's reaction to Bepo. "Don't worry about him. You know most people freak out if they see a talking polar bear."

She shrugged her shoulders. "'I've encountered minks before."

"Did you sleep well last night Kasey?" Ikkaku, who was the girl's assigned roommate asked.

Kasey nodded her head. "Yeah I slept okay."

"If you don't mind me asking where were you this morning? Cause you weren't there when I woke up."

"That's cause I was sleeping with the Captain over there." Giggling as she gestured her head over to Law who then proceeded to choke on his cup of coffee.

The entire crew quickly turned their eyes to Law waiting for an explanation. "It wasn't like that." Law explained, but you could tell they were having trouble believing him.

"Hey Penguin." Kasey said, changing the subject which Law was slightly grateful for.

Penguin turned his attention over to the girl. "Yeah."

"Are you a penguin?" She asked with a smile as she looked at him dead in the eyes. This caused everyone's jaws to drop.

"What." To say Penguin was stunned was completely an understatement.

"Are you a penguin?' She asked again.

"Um. Well you see. About that. I'm not actually a Penguin. It's just that my name is Penguin." Penguin explained in the gentlest way possible.

"Oh." Was all the girl said as she frowned in disappointment, she couldn't understand why people were named after animals if they weren't said animal. This made Penguin feel absolutely terrible.

The girl's disappointment didn't last very long as she then asked him in a cheerful voice, why his name was Penguin? To which Penguin replied with, "My parents gave me that name. I don't know the reason why though."

"Okay." Kasey pouted which caused the crew to awe. That was also the last thing Kasey said for the rest of breakfast as everyone finished their breakfast in silence.

Breakfast had passed and Law still had trouble wrapping his head around what the girl asked Penguin about his name. He just couldn't understand what made the girl think Penguin was a literal penguin. She probably meant if he could turn into a penguin, but still. Even if he was, he would then probably be named something else. You wouldn't normally name something by literally calling it by the name of its species.

It didn't help that after breakfast Kasey decided to make it her mission to follow him everywhere he went. For example, when he had gone to the navigation room, Kasey was there too. Then he went to the ship's library, she was there too. It was like that for the entire day. Everywhere he went she was right there, following right behind him. He also noticed she was carrying around a tiny black book with her. Was she taking notes on him? He finally understood what she was trying to do. She was trying to find any information by watching his daily routine. Either way he was getting tired of it.

He grabbed Kasey by her forearm and dragged her to an empty room, shutting the door behind them. She ripped her arm out of his grip with a glare, rubbing the spot where he grabbed her.

"What is it you want from me?" Law asked with narrowed eyes.

"I told you already. I just want to know what your crew is planning?"

"I don't seriously see how our plans involve the likes of you. I haven't even met you before yesterday."

"How stupid do you think I am? I know you're planning something so don't you dare try to lie to me." Kasey growled. "Why else would you go and join the Seven Warlords? There has to be a reason."

Law shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe I just wanted the position."

"So you just decided to become a Warlord causing the rest of the Worst Generation to despise you just because you wanted a Marine governmental position." She scoffed. "We both know that isn't true. You're planning something and I'm going to figure out what that plan is one way or another."

"I keep telling you it doesn't concern you." Why couldn't she just let it go. .

"You wanna know something Law, when Pirates initiate a plan it always ends up involving a lot of people whether it's intended to be that way or not. Your plan might involve me right now but it will in the future." Kasey said in a dark tone, one filled with hatred. "Whether you like it or not it will happen."

It was quiet for a little while before Law spoke up, deciding to change the subject. "Last night you said something along the lines of there's nothing in the newspapers about someone with the name 'Kasey'. Why is that?"

Kasey perked up with a smile, instantly erasing the dark look that was once on her face a minute ago. "That's easy. It's because the Marine's don't know my real name nor what I actually look like." She turned to walk away, only a foot away from the door. She looked over her shoulder to Law. "By the way. Here's a heads up. If you try to kill me, just know that I'm friends with some very powerful people who will not even hesitate to kill you and your entire crew. The best part is that not even your Warlord position won't be able to save you from them."

After those words were said, Kasey left the room. The way someone could say something like that in such a cheerful tone made him feel uncomfortable for some reason. It also made things a little easier but also a lot harder in his search for information about her than before. How was he going to be able to dig something up about a person who even the Marine's had trouble finding information about? They couldn't even find out what the girl's name was for crying out loud. At least he found out one thing and that was she hates Pirates. If she hated Pirates then why would willingly come aboard a Pirate ship? He just shook his head and left the room. It was probably time for dinner anyways.

Kasey sighed as she entered Law's room. She was hoping she would have at least got some answers but she hadn't found out anything about their future plans. Some people might think she was crazy or obsessed for wanting to find out the Heart Pirates' plans but in reality she just wanted to prevent what happened to her from happening to anyone else. Not if she could put a stop to it. He did steal one hundred hearts from Pirates, so who's to say he wouldn't resort to torturing and killing innocent people. It's not like the Marine's would do anything about it anyways just like they sure didn't do anything about Crocodile when he was trying to take over Alabasta.

Since Law wasn't in the room at the moment, she decided to look around. It was a simple and plain looking room. Inside the room was just a double bed, a desk, and a tiny bookshelf. There was also a bathroom connecting to his room. The entire room was neat and tidy, not a single item looked to be out of place. Maybe there was something inside his desk? That's where most people keep important and classified documents. She knelt in front of one of the drawers and pulled it open. Inside of it were medical books. Why were there books about medicine in his possession? Was he an actual doctor? Kasey just thought the epithet 'Surgeon of Death' was due to his Devil Fruit.

Since it was getting late and she was growing tired, Kasey decided to continue her investigation in the morning. Crawling into his bed, she curled up into the blanket. The blanket smelled just like its owner, which was a mix of vanilla and Chamomile. Either way, she found the scent to be soothing. Soothing enough to put her to sleep almost instantly.

Nothing could have prepared Trafalgar Law for what he saw the next morning. Laying beside him was a raccoon dog. The raccoon dog was of a reddish-brown color with black paws, as well as having a black patch beside each of its eyes, and a black striped fluffy tail. He rubbed his eyes hoping he was just seeing things, but it didn't change the fact that there was an actual raccoon dog sleeping on his bed. For some reason he had a feeling it was Kasey as it was the only reason that made sense. Law would've remembered if there was a raccoon dog aboard his submarine and his crew wouldn't do something as stupid as sneak a live wild animal without his knowledge.

The raccoon let out a yawn as it opened its eyes which were the same shade of green as Kasey's. Further proving his point in the raccoon being the girl.

"So you're a Devil Fruit user as well Kasey-ya." He was expecting some sort of silly retort but instead the girl/raccoon growled at him and ran out of the room. After the two nights that Law knew her, if he could only use one word to describe the girl known as Kasey, it would have to be the word 'strange'. Only time would tell if the girl's strangeness would prove to be a good or bad thing.
