Chapter 3
Responsibilities and Preparations
Harry wondered if England actually had a lot more castles than the country was aware of. It was quite a natural thought considering the fact that the magical world had Hogwarts… and the castle he was inside of.
To think that Castle Camelot was right in the middle of a city in Somerset but hidden by witches and wizards that used it as a base of operations to deal with Heretic Gods and divine beasts… it was something that the Harry before Hogwarts would have found as the insane ramblings of a madman, but here he was… about to receive crucial information… from an order of knights… that treated him like royalty… within King Arthur's castle…
What had his life become?
"Is something the matter, your majesty?" asked Eva who was currently keeping him and Amelia company as they waited for the leader of the Order to appear. She seemed worried the moment he sighed, making him wince at the fact that from now on everyone who knew of his status as Campione would treat him like a sleeping dragon.
"Just thinking about the Homework that I haven't done for Potions" The woman tilted her head and accepted the explanation before once more waiting stoically, similar in manner to the Queen's Guard.
Then, a man and a woman entered the room, if Harry had to describe them they would be the warrior and the witch of one of those computer games Dudley had before Vernon smashed them, but inversed. The man was a thin man with dark curly hair and dark baggy eyes like those of someone who didn't sleep, he was wearing the typical robes of a wizard and had a face that basically screamed, 'I'm competent but still make stupid mistakes'; The woman on the other hand was full of muscle, not overly much, but still had noticeable biceps under her mail armor, she had chestnut brown hair and dark blue eyes.
"Welcome to Castle Camelot, your majesty. My name is Alexandria Lohengrin, President of the Order of the Red Dragon and this is Vice President and Captain of the Research Branch, Nathan Squire. I am sure that you are questioning our reason for requesting your presence but if I am to be clear this is to be a bit of a long story" With the poise and movements of a noble knight of old Alexandria Presented herself and her companion in a smooth motion, as well as immediately moving to the core of the matter without being disrespectful.
Harry blinked once, unsure of how to respond before such a situation but his instincts as always took over "Umm… I am kind of asking a favor from your order so err… if you could explain how could I help you then I would do my best to help" All at once Harry immediately saw multiple reactions to his words, Amelia's grimace, Eva's happiness and Alexandria and Nathan's satisfaction.
Alexandria nodded once before continuing on "40 years ago right before being slayed by the First Campione Maeng Chung-Cha, Heretic God Apollo made a prediction that chilled everyone, especially when it was registered as an actual prophecy, as nobody knew if Campione could even be affected by Fate… turns out that they can be participants of one as long as they are made by a god…" the woman then recited from memory the words that would damn him once more to danger "Seven Champions, Thirteen Impossible Kings. The Battle for the End of Times Shall Begin, May the Kings win, The End of this World Forever Be, The World split Thirteen Times. May the Champions Win, The End Stalled once more. The Armies of the World Shall Gather, The Truth of the World shall be revealed, Only the Master of Death's Decision Shall Save them All."
Harry's eyes widened as the prophecy couldn't be clearer on the participants, on the fact that Campione were going to battle for the sake of the world.
"Since the rebirth of the Seventh Campione, in other word your majesty himself, it has been reported that the appearance of Heretic Gods all over the world have accelerated. This part of the reason that we brought you here since organizations and magical cabals all over the world are searching for the opportunity to either use you or kill you" Harry's expression turned stony as he tried his best not to puke out what little he had in his stomach at the thought that his death may be necessary to save the world "Due to this situation we have reports that a Heretic God that was summoned by German Wizards during WW2 and then sealed within the London Cage is soon to escape, thus the second reason we brought you here is to ask your majesty to either fight it or give the permission to let another Campione kill them"
Harry was immediately under pressure because of all the information dumped on him and the fact that his decision would result in the aftermath of the appearance of the Heretic God, considering how closely Alexandria and Nathan were looking at him, they were probably testing him...
Harry licked his lips before opening his mouth "What are the consequences of each of the other Campiones coming to kill it?" Harry may be a Gryffindor with a lot of bravery, but he had almost become a Slytherin thanks to the fact that he could be as cunning as any of the snakes when he needed. The question put more information about the other Campione on the table and permitted him the capability to make an informed decision.
"The First, The Guardian King, only protects Korea so he's not a possible choice, The Second, The Trickster King, is possible but he will ask for huge amounts of food and alcohol, The Third, The Queen of Death, once attacked the country in search for a fairytale, the Fourth, The Storm King, would ask for obscene amounts of money, The Fifth, The Cremation King, would ask to own a piece of England or maybe the country itself, The Sixth, The Disaster Queen, would destroy everything on her path."
Harry hated many things about the Dursleys, their pride, their greed, their envy, their gluttony, there were countless things that made them bad persons, however, now harry hated the fact that the Dursleys had taught him, in their own horrible manner, a sense of responsibility, because now he knew that it would be, now and in the future, his responsibility to fight against these odds.
"I'll Fight it"

"Gods are real…?" Questioned Henry Granger as he stared at his daughter who explained what happened at the Museum, and how a Divine Ancestor had gained interest in her, interest that his daughter seemingly refused to explain the reason for. "Why did that one get interested in you?"
"I can't tell you" Was Hermione's only reply. Her eyes holding a certainty and determination that both parents couldn't remember to ever see.
"Hermione, sweetie, you just told us that she was a goddess of death, and that she knew something about you that interested her! Can't you at least tell us if you are safe?" Jane, Henry's wife, questioned, worried over the safety of their daughter.
Hermione remembered Harry and immediately threw that image out of the window, she will not put the weight of her troubles on her friend. She focused on the information she acquired while looking at the Divine Ancestor. "I am safe, she expressed no animosity and she seemed pleased by my reaction. I worry more for our privacy."
"Privacy?"
"Gods like to watch entertaining things."

"How much time do we have before the seal breaks" asked Amelia while looking at the documents provided to her.
"The last report of the Association of the Seal says that the Heretic God will be released in two weeks" reported Nathan who was filling up a few documents.
"That's not a lot of time" Amelia frowned at the short time span they had to prepare for the release of a Heretic God in the middle of London "And our Campione turned out to be a 13-year-old boy."
"That's not a boy" commented Alexandria "He is a monster. No matter the amount of power detecting wards we put we couldn't detect his power, but he was perfectly aware of ours. This 'boy' as you call him, has the look in his eyes that say that he has looked at death multiple times and the entire time during the meeting he never once let any of us out of his sight. He is a warrior that can defeat Gods, don't forget that."
"…" Amelia had no answer to that and changed the subject "What is he going to be trained in?"
"There is not much we can teach him when it comes to dealing with Heretic Gods, but we can at least give him an affinity ritual and related spells" Nathan finished the documents and ordered them before standing up.
Amelia just raised an eyebrow "Those were forbidden by the ministry."
"Read the law, it says that the teaching and public presentation to members outside your family is forbidden, Muggleborns just spread the myth and no one but those of dark families bothered to check" Nathan smirked fiendishly while looking at Amelia.
"One of these days, Nathan, One of these days"
"You will never catch me."
Harry Potter: Campione
The next day Harry was woken up by a knock on his door "Permission to enter, your majesty."
Rubbing the sleep out of his eyes he stood up and replied "Enter."
The door opened with a light sound and Alexandria as well as Nathan entered "Your Majesty, do you remember your request from yesterday?" spoke up Alexandria.
Harry nodded "After the meeting ended, I requested that you that you guys taught me some magic that could help me defeat the heretic god" Harry then noticed that Nathan was seemingly about to pass out from sleep deprivation but the fact that he didn't stumble meant that he was ok.
Alexandria nodded "Your Majesty, the Heretic God will release itself at the end of two weeks, that time is not enough teach you powerful enough magic to work against gods, even taking away the fact that these magics are unique and require sacrifices, so we have decided to do an affinity ritual to take into account what works for you and teach you magic that can support you and your authorities"
Harry accepted the explanation, especially if people were to be sacrificed for it to work. "Let me bath and change, then we will do this ritual."
After Harry bathed and changed into new clothes and then moved on with Alexandria and Nathan to the basement of the castle to a room of marble covered in runes in the middle was a plate with paper, a knife, a piece of bark and a pulp at its side.
"The ritual is basically *Yawn* automatic, once it is prepared it only requires a drop of blood thrown in the plate with yew bark and holly pulp, then, after the liquid changes you throw the content over the paper that will write your magical affinities" Explained Nathan in a tired out voice "You don't have to worry about it not detecting you due to your magical resistance, I made it myself so that quality could be guaranteed."
Harry looked at the ritual area "Can it be performed more than once?"
"If needed, your majesty" replied Nathan warily.
"Do it yourself first, please" Harry ordered politely, he was, after all, not stupid enough to do something like a ritual because he was told to, especially after he was told that people wanted him dead.
Nathan just went and did it, he cut his finger and dropped in the liquid inside the plate, and then threw the bark and the pulp, with the liquid changing to look blood red and boiling, then he threw the liquid over the paper and once it stopped writing grabbed the paper, looked at it and nodded. "This is what you have to expect your majesty."
Nathan Squire Lestrange
Wand: Roble and Dragon Heartstring
Affinity: C: Wood, N: Mouse, W: Earth, H: None
Exotic Magic
"What does it mean?" asked Harry upon watching the words and letters. His eyes not missing the fact that Nathan's surname wasn't Squire.
"The way I set up this ritual it will present the Cultivation Magic affinity, that consists of turning your body into that element" He demonstrated by turning his hand into wood "Native American Magical Affinity that consists of turning your magic and willpower into an animal" An spectral mouse like the swan he previously saw appeared "Then wand magic affinity, that is summoning and manipulating the element" He used his wand to create a little house of dirt "A possible Hermetic Magic that fits and the type of magic that is instinctive to you, for me is the Exotic Magics"
Harry nodded and walked up to the ritual table, he cut himself without hesitation and let the drop fall, quickly grabbing the bark and pulp he put them in the plate and watched with trepidation as the liquid turned blood red and then bubbled, knowing it was time he spilled the liquid over the paper and watched as letters were written.
Harry James Potter
Wand: Holly and Phoenix Feather
Affinity: C: Metal, N: Crocodile, W: Sky, Necromancy, Parsel H: None
Battle Magic
Harry watched in shock at the second and third wand-based affinities, wondering why he had such evil potential. His hands trembled slightly as he grabbed the paper but he stopped them as he walked back towards Alexandria and Nathan. He had no reason to hesitate, it was the same as when he talked with Professor Dumbledore, these skills didn't define his nature, his decisions did. As long as he didn't use them with evil intentions then that didn't make him evil.
Alexandria's eyes widened as she saw the results, the king had affinity for the most hated magics in the British Wizarding Communities, and his most instinctual magic was battle magic, making it part of his nature to fight. 'Truly a Devil King'
"When do we start?" was Harry's only question
Harry Potter: Campione
They could only help harry with sky magic, and even then, they could only help him with support or defense spells since any offensive mortal magic would dissipate against a Heretic God's Magical Resistance. The problems arose when it came down to the fact that Harry didn't want his identity as the Seventh Campione known. Amelia and the others wanted to argue that it was better to reveal the fact that he was seventh as fast as possible, but Harry was adamant about it. The others bended to Harry's will but Harry himself felt like a bad person for forcing them to keep his identity secret.
"We can't train you to use spells while within the Castle, they are too destructive when they fail" explained Nathan after Harry's first class with Alexandria "However, if we take you to the courtyard then it won't take long before all the residents know about you and your identity."
"I'm fine to use something to cover myself as long as it's not uncomfortable or easy to remove" Harry honestly didn't care for aesthetics, but he started to worry the moment Nathan threw a plastic mask that resembled an awful looking werewolf from a certain horror movie, through the window.
"We were thinking about making your own armor from the castle's enchanted metal storage but it will take a few days, so we were thinking about making use of one of our more… eccentric members project to help, although that would require revealing your identity to her" Nathan explained 'Naturally' as if he hadn't done anything suspicious
"Who is this member?" asked harry curiously, wondering what kind of person would be considered eccentric in a magical cabal
"Her name is Cassandra Blake, she is a young genius that managed to obtain her NEWTS at Sixteen and has since joined the Order but her specialty is in the creation of magical transportation items, her focus being on transporting as many of our members to the area as possible and… well… she created a flying boat, a Junk as I believe it is called" Nathan looked strangely uncomfortable as he spoke "She was originally the one that we were going to assign as your guard" he finished with a strange tone of voice, almost leery.
Harry already knew about that, the nature and responsibilities associated with being a Campione already being previously explained by Alexandria and confirmed by his half-insane godfather that lived in the basement. He was supposed to gather powerful people, women if he was like one of the other Campione, around him due to them being peace offerings or honey traps so that he puts his power behind a Cabal. "What happened?" Harry growled, already wondering if they had done something to her, he felt something seemingly lift from him and Nathan suddenly started sweating and shivering.
"S-She refused, your majesty, so we decided to look for another member who would agree!" Nathan almost yelled the last part in fear as the power from harry permeated the area.
The feeling of blocking or obscuring something reappeared for harry the moment he calmed down "Oh, then as long as you are sure she will not reveal my identity then I am ok with using her alternative."
The spooked Nathan quickly left the area with a "As you wish, your Majesty" and Harry couldn't help but feel like a jerk for scaring him like that. Looking down at his own palm he wondered what that feeling was.
Harry Potter: Campione
Nathan called him that night and he walked with him until they reached the courtyard, then they walked through it until they reached what looked like a workshop that sat beside a boat that had plenty walking space.
"I already said that I don't wish to become part of this new Campione's Clique!" came the voice of a woman from within the workshop.
"And I'm not ordering you to be, we just need you to sail your boat along the sky so that, his majesty may train in…" came Alexandria's voice.
Nathan quickly knocked the door and let himself in "I brought his majesty here" was his only explanation for his sudden intrusion.
Harry entered behind him and observed the new face in the workshop, there he saw a tall but petite bespectacled woman with short brown hair. she was wearing a black body suit and had armor around her body. The woman, Cassandra if he had to guess, quickly bowed to him alongside Alexandria.
"We didn't expect you so soon, your majesty" commented Alexandria.
Harry nodded and made a sign for them to relax and noticed the worry in Alexandria and the despair and recognition in Cassandra's.
"You are Cassandra, right?" asked Harry but inwardly cringed when he saw the woman cringe.
"Yes, your Majesty" the woman replied without looking at him in the eyes.
"Why are you so tense?" Harry knew about the fact that Campione had Cliques but he other than the fact that they were people that were used as bargaining chip he hadn't heard anything bad about them… well the cliques at least.
"I fear that my dream may be unattainable if I am part of your Majesty's Clique" the woman trembled as she spoke, probably fearing Harry's rage at her answer.
"My only desire is that you transport me over the skies for as long as it takes for my armor to be made, you won't be forced to join me or anything like that" reasoned Harry with her, considering his desires along with hers.
Cassandra seemed to melt as the tension left her body "As your Majesty commands."
Harry Potter: Campione
After that night's flight Cassandra and Alexandria had a conversation
"Are you okay, Cassandra?" came out the voice of Alexandria towards the mentioned woman.
"Hm" replied the woman in positive while moving the sails of her boat and testing that everything was all right, her wand moving constantly.
"You are still angry at me, aren't you?" questioned Alexandria, her tone of voice projecting the hurt that she felt at the fact.
"How do you expect me to feel? That my adoptive mother put me under the eyes of a Campione?! What if he had demanded my body?! What if he demanded me to be one of his servants and I had to live a life of just cleaning up after his messes and satisfying him just so that he didn't destroy the Order?! How could you do that to me?!" The previously supposedly calm woman suddenly exploded her rage and worry finally revealing itself in a flash and directing itself to the person she felt responsible for it.
"He wouldn't do that" proclaimed Alexandria "As much of a monster as he might be… he wouldn't do that" There was no doubt in her voice. The amount of faith that these words had was awe inspiring but to Cassandra they only sounded like the stupid trust in a boy because of his fame.
"Because he's the Boy-Who-Lived?!" Cassandra honestly couldn't believe what she was hearing, how could she be so sure? How could she have known that the Campione would have been reasonable and accepting of her decisions?! She couldn't have known; the boy was only here for a bit over two days before she was made to meet him. And considering the amount of trouble he got in while at Hogwarts, losing his house hundreds of points, she honestly wouldn't trust the boy to consider her opinion. "You've taught me since I was a child that all Campione are monsters that can kill us because they want to! And NOW you trust one?!"
"Because of his actions the day we found him and the info that we got from Amelia's daughter" explained Alexandria "His majesty has a reputation of getting into trouble and doing the right thing, he is well known in Hogwarts for helping anyone who asks for it, as long as it isn't a bad action he does it genuinely to help, and from what we know he faced Slytherin's monster, Saint George and Ananshesha all because he decided to save his friend's sister, however what gives me the most trust is the fact that he took responsibility for the Heretic God in the London cage, despite being given the opportunity to back out" finished Alexandria, her eyes reflecting the fact that she believed in her own words
"Couldn't it just be that his Majesty just likes the fire of battle? Couldn't it be that he just desires to be stronger? What if he is a monster in the likes of the Storm King and the Death Queen?" Cassandra still couldn't believe that she could trust this boy so quickly. "This is the same guy who supposedly killed Quirrel if those same rumors are to be believed!"
"He is a benevolent monster, he managed to retrieve the Sword of Gryffindor after all" revealed Alexandria making Cassandra gasp, it was to be expected after all, because the sword of Gryffindor was once given to Merlin so that he could choose the next king of Britain, creating the swords second name, Caliburn: The Sword of The Rightful King. That someone who supposedly murdered the Muggle Studies professor to draw THAT sword made such a contrast between what she knew and heard of him that she was momentarily stunned.
"But only a truly noble person can draw that sword!" Cassandra couldn't believe that a devil king could have the heart necessary to draw that legendary sword, it was nonsensical if you considered the situation of the other devil kings, Greed, Gluttony, Lust, Pride, Apathy… there were a lot of negative characteristics in the other Devil Kings, so it was seemingly out of the left field for the last one to be an upstanding person.
"Indeed, and I believe that's why you should give him a chance, maybe alongside him you will accomplish your dream" soothed Alexandria. Her arms moving to surround and calm the young woman.
"Why are you pushing me so much to be beside him? Do you believe that I can't do it alone?" she spoke into the hug, her voice showing her confusion.
"You can do it alone, but as the prophecy becomes a reality, the safest place in the world is beside a Campione, because they are the only ones with a chance to fight." And with that the woman separated from the woman and moved away.
"…"
"Think about it for a while" was the last thing Alexandria said, before walking away to let her daughter think.
"…"
Harry Potter: Campione
Albus Dumbledore stared at the papers on his desk with trepidation, he had finally returned to his post as a headmaster after spending a few days in the infirmary due to Voldemort's potion, and the first thing he sees are three papers on his desk, a notice from the Association of the Seal, and two transfer papers.
'The first one is actually normal, it is just a student transferring from an independent school, although it has been years since anyone ever did this, a surprise to be sure but a welcome one.'
It was the other one that worried him.
'Proserpina, a divine ancestor that is sponsored by the French ministry since she helped them recover Paris during the Grindelwald War, a being of such power is now asking to enter the school as a student, and since she is a being of enormous power, I can't deny her request'
Albus worried for the safety of his students but couldn't do anything to deflect her, nor could the French Ministry persuade her not to do so. So, he had to let her in or invoke the rage of a being that he couldn't defeat nor defend against.
'I will have to talk with the other Professor to have a strict vigilance of any student she is near, that way we may be able to stop her from harming anyone, that is my hope after all' Albus thoughts were much freer now that he didn't have to distantly manipulate Harry to his, hopefully, temporary death. And now that he and Alastor were on the search for Tom's Horcruxes this meant that the man could focus on keeping Hogwarts safe but even a man of his caliber had his limits.
And as he turned to take the letter from the Association of the Seal, he knew that this year at Hogwarts was going to be different and strange.
Cultivation Magic: A method for the use of magic, created by the ancient Chinese Wizards. In the modern times it is considered a type of Elemental Battle Magic, especially due to the focus on combat it had in the past. The elements within this magic are Wood, Fire, Earth, Water and Steel. The strongest form of this magic is when you turn your soul into the element, permanently acquiring the power and advantages of the element, alongside with its weaknesses.
Ofuda Magic: Magic that requires inscribing the spell in a piece of paper from a tree grown with magical water and Ink made with the user's blood and certain metals. The specialty of this magic lies in Curses and Divination. The strongest ability of this magic is the ability to summon divine beast under your control… at least so it was in the past.
Hermetic Magic: Magic that requires dedicating oneself to a god. The Magic of the Greek. The strongest ability of this magic is the ability to take the soul of something and make it effective against the divine.
Spirit Magic: creates a spirit out of your body that will defend you, it is as durable as your willpower, but its attack power depends on the Magic of the user. The French version can even Twist the creatures into weapons. The strongest ability of this magic is Ascension. You accept nature through the spirit and acquire a mark that shows that you are a part of part of nature thus making your magic infinite as long as life exists. The method to reach this level may have been lost during the Colonization of America
